The straw hats wears different clothes until some point on the history, here are the romance dawn trio

okay time to explain how M.A.D works in my au, I don't change big things, M.A.D is still beging when an alternate gives non-wanted verbal information to a person.

The only stuff that really changes is the way it works on people, M.A.D varies depending on how strong is the person's mind, it can work like it normally does in TMC or it can change a bit

For example: if you are a small child then M.A.D will be like a disease, it makes you feel tired, you will be very sick, you will also feel obsessed with beging lonely, it makes you feel very sad and angry.

But this changes a bit when you are an alternates's vessel: you will feel not only tired, you'll feel weak, you slowly start becoming more and more crazy, as time passes, you will feel frustrated and sad, is almost the same as like the others but instead of desperately trying to k!ll yourself, or beging obsessed with being lonely, you'll desperately will try to be 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 people, you will not only 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 but 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 people, if you feel lonely while having M.A.D for way too long (like 5-7 months), you'll possibly look like my Nika looks like but with a small detail, you will completely loose your humanity, the person you once where will not be there anymore, instead, there will be a monster.

Nika accidentally inflicted M.A.D onto luffy when, you know, ace, that was when luffys ming was very weak, first he looses his friends and now his brother, my mind would be weak as well if that happened to me tbh

The case is, if being alone is the worst way of self damage to luffy, now imagine him with M.A.D, he feelt frustrated, sad and lonely at the same time and it was painful for him, those days were like hell for him, good thing there was Rayleigh, jimbei and Hancock, and of course Pao (Nika) , Nika didn't want luffy to feel like that (the big brother parasite has got him) so desperately tried to make him feel better, that worked thankfully.

Luffy still has M.A.D but now that his friends are there for him, is easier to control it cuz he doesn't feel alone anymore (whole cake was hell as well)

wow.... i cant believe they were abandoned and Luffy collected them like treasures.....

the rest of the strawhats/friends that were gonna be in this post but i decided against it

Not all of them were abandoned by individual people like family members and their community, but the government. Specifically Franky and Law.

Vivi was gonna be in there too but i couldnt,,,, really,,,,, fit her in there.

The other day I was dying laughing at the thought of Zoro (first time feeling attraction) talking to Luffy (never felt attraction in his life) about his feelings for Sanji and them coming up with a wildly incorrect assumption about what's happening
