I wanna say that I don't hate Megatron in ES, in fact I love him very dearly. He is the very reason I got back into TF all these years later. A GOOD Megatron, a character I had only seen as evil or bad being good was a concept so powerful that I got sucked back in.

Then learning about IDW Megatron, only sealed just how complicated a simple Veil of a bad guy, had such depth and layers.

I think a Twitter post put it very simply.

"Can a tyrant who killed millions atone for his sins? The answer is no. But he should try anyway."

I think if we ever got a look at ES Megs (which we won't) for him and Star to talk. He can't undo the damage he is done. He acknowledges what he has done. He is still a damaged person who I wanted to see try, fail but KEEP TRYING.

Much like how Starscream isn't just selfish, he more than just a traitor ,he is a perosn who beyond these simple facets that people have come to beleive him to be.

Much like Megatron is much more than being the leader of a the cons who was brutal. He clearly cares for Dorothy, willing to work with Optimus, wants to teach the youth what happened so its not repeated.

ES megs is one that caught himself earlier than most, but still did alot of damage.

No one has to forgive him. But I want to see him still strive for what he originally wanted.

Star was walking through the street one day, thinking about nothing and everything. Suddenly, she heard a loud crash next to her, and as she turned around she saw a giant pink space ship which had seemingly crash landed and flattened a few of the trees in the street. She staggered back in shock as the large metal door to the rocket opened and revealed a short-ish, feminine figure with shoulder length ginger hair and a perplexed but excited look on her face.

“Rhicey? Is that you?” she asked as she stepped closer.

“Star!” Riri replied, running to Star and jumping in her arms.

The pair cuddled for a moment before Star grew a little curious.

“Uh, is that your space ship?” she asked.

Riri looked back and brushed it off. “Oh, yeah. I guess it wasn’t ironed out completely, but I got here didn’t I?” she giggled.

Star shrugged. “Uh, yeah, I guess so. Anyway, there’s a cafe there, do you wanna go get a dr pepper and a cookie?”

Riri smiled and reached out to hold her girlfriends hands. “Darling, I would love nothing more.

The two joined arms and made their way to the cafe, and spent the rest of the day together.

Today I learned that the tag “laugh rule” refers to a rule where if you laugh you have to reblog something. Not me being on this site for years and years and thinking that people were making a joke about living under laugh rule the way you would live under, say, mob rule.

I’ve literally used the tag and been thinking to myself “ah yes, laugh rule. where humor is king and the memes you trade are the currency of empire”

16 frame shooting star animation. January 2022-September 2024 Needlepoint

Frames from my shooting star gif. 16 frames total. Each frame is 8x6.5 inches on a 10” mesh. Designed and animated in photoshop and needlepointed by me. I started drafting this 1/14/22 and finished animating it 9/25/24. It took approximately two years and eight months to finish. This is one of the largest projects I’ve ever worked on and I’m very happy with how it turned out.
