As promised! Based on this post
Please reblog this, I put my whole soul into it and I’d like if people saw it
-yippee finally, I’ve been putting off posting this but with the ethubs win and finally having 100 followers now seems like a good time
-ok design notes now
-Jimmy is a canary guy, I saw his third life outfit interpreted as a sweater and liked it, he’s got coal stains on his wings hehe. Also in the double life panel he got antennae and the weird freckle things on his arms. His antennae are meant to be like Pearl’s bc siblings
-Scott’s a starborn! So the things floating around him are meant to be stars! Usually his design has longer hair but I decided he gets shorter hair for third life and it grows out through the series
-Mumbo moth guy my favourite headcanon for him ever. He’s got a feather from Gri and you can’t see his hands here but he does have a ring, which I tend to keep throughout his design because I miss them, Martyn does too but normally it’s around his neck
-no many notes on Martyn, Dogwarts banner headband heh
-Tango!! Many thoughts on him, kept his mechanical arm from create. He’s got Phoenix wings and I forgot them here but usually he has blaze rods floating a round him, like Scott. I’ve also decided blazes get antennae
-Etho’s got flowers from Bdubs in his hair, I love them, they cause me so much pain. He’s also got black pained nails
-Bdubs moth guy, no notes really, his hair is in a ponytail but you can’t see it
-ougfh desert guys
-They both have their wings around earth other!
-No notes on Scar, he also grows his hair out gradually, it’s just starts out longer then Scott’s
-Usually Grian has eight wings total but he doesn’t get them for the life series, not really for any reason, just a show of power ig. He’s got the poppies and lilacs in his hair and also he has talons, very cool. I have zero consistency on my third life design for him

I have a HC about the Winners of the life Series.
Essentially, everyone has a "Prize" and a curse, the reason I put prize in quotation is because the prize can amplifie the effect of the curses ( Only sometimes its a 50/50 chance (aka only does it when I want angst) )
as a disclaimer some are more thought out then others
Grian:
Winner of the 1st game where patterns and trends got established, the game with no extra gimmick. Grian pledged himself to Scar after accidentally killing him, he constantly remined others that it was just till he lost his first life, but that never happened. He sticks with his Scar, setting up traps and being the only green to kill, untill it was just the two of them. Grians game ended with a duel to the death between Him and Scar, a fist fight in a cactus ring with the sun rising behind the two of them, a part of Grian knows Scar let him win, all the same, after claiming victory, he jumps off a cliff and ends the game properly.
His Prize was a simple dagger with three hearts carved into the blade, a lether grip dyed cactus green and a handle that looks like a rising sun and his curse?
Grian constantly feels cactus spikes in his skin pricking just at the surface but, and he will never tell anyone this, his back hurts, not constantly but sometimes while he's just going about his day pain will bloom over his back and wings like he's just landed on it from a high place.
If he uses the dagger (and he gets unlucky) the constant prick under his skin turns painful the pain in his back that comes and goes a constant, he knows it will hurt but the dagger is a good reliable weapon.
Scott:
Winner of the 2nd game with the first gimmick, the trading of lives and the boogyman curse. He played the game honourably sticking with his allies and keeping his promises, He was the only person to resist the curse choosing to go red rather then to kill one of his allies. He won the game in a fair fight between the last 4 players getting the finale kill with the help of a Zombie under the Moon, the two symbols of his fallen allies, He didn't get to choose his final death, he was struck by lightning sent by the watchers he had upset.
His Prize? A wooden short bow that's beautifully curved with three Axolotls two holding each end of the string and the thirds the grip, in the space between are four hearts (two below the grip and two above) the hearts have a sort of aurora carved around them, the arrows of the bow are star shaped an infinity bow.
His curse? There's a constant chant in his head, telling him he needs to kill, someone needs to die so he can stay alive, he's pretty good at ignoring it. Sometimes Scott's body feels like it's full of lightning burning his muscles when this happens its incredibly painful to do anything but he grits his teeth and pushes through, it's usally gone fairly quick.
If he uses the bow theres a chance that the chant gets loud drowning out most other thoughts and the lightning pain is a constant, with this he doesn't usally use the bow, saving it for moments where he can afford to go through the pain, especially if it means saving an allie or friend
Pearl:
Winner of the 3rd game, a game full of heart break for some and loneliness for others, Pearl was alone for the major part of the game through by no fualt of her own, living in her tower with her wolves an honorary red name while still on green. Her game ended in bloodshed as all games had, killing the final two soulmates, taking pride in killing Cleo and Martyn two of the three people who had screwed her over at the start which left her and Scott. Pearl never got the final kill she wanted, never got the pay back for the pain Scott had caused her, her death was the result of Scott sacrificeing himself leaving Pearl as the winner.
Pearls prize is a Scythe a huge wicked thing with a cresent moon shaped blade, at the top and bottom of the pole is a heart conceted with a carved string however around the string are carvings of wolves some of which have the string in their mouth trying to sever the tie.
Her curse, Pearl has the echo's of her maddening loneliness forever in her mind, it's easier to manage when she's around others always apart of some group, sometimes heat prickles under her skin, heat pushing up trying to escape but never being able to.
She uses her Scythe in games always to scare others, she doesn't mind the side effects that could happen, doesn't mind when the madness takes over doesn't care for the heat that keeps pushing pushing at her skin trying to explode out.
Martyn:
Winner of the 4th game where time was everything, the clocks all ticking down a constant reminder that their time is limited. Martyn spent the game close with Scott his allie, he knew it was his best chance to win. Martyn spent his red and yellow life hungry for time, more time he always needed more time, he got his time and made it to the finale three. Him, Scott his allie and Impulse, a fair and honourable match was proposed, but there's no honour in a death game, it's kill or be killed he wasn't going to lose. Martyns game ended in betrayal, a betrayal that was always going to happen, Scott was first then Impulse. Martyn got his time but he, like everyone, had to run out of it eventually.
Martyns prize was a Cutlass covered in coral, an hourglass carved into the blade and a red planet made of gems in its handle, its a beautiful thing to behold.
Martyn constantly here's the tick ticking of a clock counting down to something. He doesn't have a reminder of his final death instead from time to time Martyns skin will dry out a remined of his time on the coral isles.
Martyn doesn't use his Cutlass very often if ever, the potential consequences not worth it, the ticking becomes louder he becomes obsessed with time again wanting, needing to kill to gain more and his skin becomes bone dry often starting to crack. Though it's a good weapon he doesn't want to take the risk unless absolutely necessary.
Finally Scar:
The winner of the 5th game, a game full of secrets, Scar spent the game alone but not lonely, there where others around but he never really had an allie, everytime he would plan to make friends and allies the secret keeper had other plans. Do the opposite of what people say, become the villian of the server sabotage three reds, he couldn't get a break. When the final came around, still without friends or allies, Scar went with whoever at the time and when the final two teams were left he had to choose between Gem and the Scott's and the Mounders, ending up with the Mounders, with the help of Pearl they killed Gem leaving just her and him. The final kill wasn't exciting in fact Scar missed it entirely having to be told by the Ghost of Grian, the first winner, that she was dead. Scar never got his own final death, he lived in the world for months following the end of the game wondering through the Sunflower fields untill finally he was pulled out officially ending the game.
Scars prize was a metal long bow not too diffrent from his Hot Guy bow but this bow is green and brown, with sunflowers and scrolls decorating it.
Scar doesn't really have any curses, maybe the Watchers were happy with how he played the game, but he's cautious he doesn't trust that he's safe, he wants to tell someone but he doesnt know how the other winners will take him not having any curses, so he keeps quite, never telling anyone and living with the secret.
Scar hasn't used the bow, there hasn't been a reason too, he has other bows and there hasn't been another game yet, so he's fine with just using it as decoration.
And that's all, I would add Cleo but in my head Real Life was just them all drunk and wasn't organised by the Watchers just a bit of fun sort of thing.
Also what do you think of the prizes and curses? All prizes have the gimmick of the game, a symbol important to the winner and their Celestial bodies,
The formula I used for the curses was something relating to the gimmick of the game plus their final death, Scar never had a final death so idk what to do there if anyone has suggestions I'm open to hear them, as well as any suggestions for how to amplifie Scars curse.
I would love to draw the weapons but I have 0 confidence in my ability to do it justice.
Anyway this was longer then intended I'm going to stop before I make it longer but if you want to hear me rant about my choices please tell me and I will.
hope you enjoyed it.

drop your design details/hybrid headcanons for characters youve discussed so far pls :p
To keep it short for now, I've chosen to limit that to meaning "characters I've shown y'all a POV piece from already", so Scott, Etho, Bdubs and Martyn.
Scott is 6' tall and, as far as anyone can tell, completely human! At least, at the start. His hair being naturally blue is a bit odd. And the pale scar across his left forearm that looks like something branded a square with the letter N there is definitely weird, but he doesn't remember how he got it, so… it's probably fine. After he dies for the first time in Third Life, he becomes visibly elven, with a halo of stars and rings of light floating around his wrists. He also gains an extra inch of height, putting him at 6'1". Somehow it's that last bit which confuses him the most. All his death-scarring is across his torso, so it's concealed beneath his clothes.
Martyn is 5'10" and also half-elven, but doesn't get any fun glowing lights out of it. (He's pretty sure glowing lights aren't even an elf thing.) All his elven heritage gives him is pointy ears and violently bright blond hair. Martyn usually wears a green short-sleeve hoodie and denim shorts, and refuses to take fashion advice or dress appropriately for the weather. It's not until late into Last Life that the weather gets cold enough to make him use a longer pair of pants. He has burn scars across the back of his legs after the desert explodes beneath his feet in Third Life, and an arrow scar running horizontally under his left eye after Impulse shoots him in the head. All his other death-scars are concealed.
Etho is 6'3" and looks like a perfectly normal human Player, aside from the white hair. He's incredibly fond of his green aviator jacket, and almost never takes it off. His mask covers his entire neck and jawline as well as just his face, and he would quite literally rather kill than take it off in front of other people. (Only six people have ever seen his face under the mask, although that number rises to nine by the end of Last Life.) The scar through his left eye is an arrow scar, and he doesn't get it until he's executed via firing squad in Third Life. His red eye is a redstone camera / prosthetic eye he makes after the fact. He also has massive amounts of burn scarring, but due to his outfit, it's only visible across his hands.
Bdubs is 5'7" and incredibly defensive about the fact that height is average. He seems human but probably isn't anymore. He's not sure. He doesn't like to think about it. He wears his moss hoodie tied around his waist for most of Third Life because it simply isn't cold enough to warrant wearing it yet. In Last Life, on the other hand, he almost never takes the thing off, except for on his red life, when he consistently keeps passing it off to Etho. (Etho wears it like a cape, tied around his shoulders.) The only visible death-scarring he picks up is burn scarring across his right arm and shoulder: all his other death-scars are concealed.
Some additional quickfire design facts:
In the Life Games, everyone's eye color changes to match their life count. The only exceptions to this are Tango (whose eyes are always red), Lizzie (whose eyes are always blue), and BigB (who has brown eyes until he hits his red life).
Communicators can't go in a Player's inventory, so everyone is always carrying them. For example: Scott's is kept in his back pocket, Martyn's is loosely strapped to his belt, Etho's is strapped to his left forearm and hidden under his sleeve, and Bdubs carries his in a small satchel bag.
Injuries and scars only carry over between respawns if they were the cause of a Player's Hardcore death or if that Player views them as important to their self-image. The only person in the Life Games that has any sentimental value scars is Skizz, though.
Once again, feel free to ask about specific characters if you have further questions, or if there's anyone else you'd like to hear design details about!

WAIT WAIT FOR THE JOEL N ETHO TATTOO SHOP AMD POTTERY SHOP AU
What if Ethos scar is actually a tattoo in this au? Like maybe it has a mixture of eyes and flowers in it?
Also I think Joel as one(1) tattoo, and that is of a small boat on his thigh, it has some flames on the bottom as well, Etho has a matching tattoo as well (/ref to double life) (Joel also absolutely hated the feeling of getting the tattoo and refuses to get any more, much to Grian and Jimmy's sadness)
I think Grian has a sun tattoo on the back of his neck, matching with Pearl and Scott, who have a moon and star tattoo respectively. Grian also has a waffle tattoo somewhere as a ref to an inside joke among his friends
(also if you want scarian in this au, grian and scar have matching tattoos of a desert)
Cleo would work at Mezalea (ref to her statues) and Joe would work part time at Mindcrack! Cleo has a sleeve of snakes and flowers as well!! Ngl I don't watch Cleo or Joe so idk what tattoos they would have other then Cleo's sleeve.
Jimmy actually has a pretty big tattoo of a wave with a cod and a axolotl swimming together in it on his right thigh! (Lizzie matches with him!!!) Jimmy also has a tattoo of small wings on his back (canary curse ref)
i feel like etho would be really into the patchwork style of different little tattoos that are just inside jokes and chock full of references. a column of hardcore hearts down his spine for every uhc season he has been in; gold for the seasons he won.
etho brags all the time that he is the only one who has a matching tattoo with joel. grian has been caught bribing joel to get matching tattoos with him on multiple occasions. he will succeed. one day. probably. maybe.
the celestial tattoos are from winning the short-term dnd campaign ran by grian. grian was too busy to do the more in-depth world-building for the campaign the majority of it ended up being created by the players. martyn's symbolism from the last game they played was so heavily debated that his tattoo got delayed.
grian's waffle is on the base of his skull, hidden by his hair so he has to lift it up out of the way to waffle' someone.
while cleo does work with clay when she begins her project to better help understand scale and shapes. her final works are made out of stone and metal with such care to detail that her works seem life-like at first glance.
jimmy takes a bit of prodding to get tattoos done, while excited to get more ink done. the pain makes him a little hesitant to go for more bigger pieces. around his ankles are flowers that scott picked out after his death in third life. scott has similar flowers around his ribs.

Part one
The cheery tune of Queen's "Crazy little thing called love" rang out three times in the hungover silence. Each one chipped a little bit away at Pearl's unconsciousness, but the final third one became the straw that woke her up. She denied the call and turned her head back into the corner of the couch. Her head felt like lead. It rang out twice more before she groaned and finally picked it up.
“Hello?” she grumbled into the cell, eyes still closed.
“Pearl!” The volume made her head spin and ache. “Where the hell are you? I got home and you’re not here, and no one knows where you are, and you haven't picked up your phone in-”
“Please. For the love of God. Stop shouting.” Angry Scottish was annoying at the best of times, but at the moment it was straight up painful.
“I’ll stop shouting when you tell me where you are, I thought you’d been kidnapped or something!”
“Fine, fine, just quiet down, my head’s killing me. I’m…”
She sat up and nudged the sleep-fog out of her eyes with a yawn. When her vision cleared and her surroundings came into reality, she promptly nudged them again because she must have done something wrong the first time around. Then she did it a third time. Everything about the room she found herself was still completely unfamiliar. She came to the begrudging realization that she had no idea where she was.
“Huh.”
“What?”
“Maybe I have been kidnapped.”
“What?”
It was a college student’s apartment, that part was clear. Barely three steps to her left was a kitchenette, to the right an ajar door she presumed led to a bedroom, and the hall and bathroom were squeezed in between the two, yet the host still managed to afford a flat screen TV and a PS5. Not to mention the place was as messy as a junkyard, which made her inner cleaning lady scream. Right in front of her was a low table with a collection of various paraphernalia scattered from one end to the other, one of them catching her eye, as it was probably supposed to.
“Oo, hang on, there’s a note.”
It was a striped paper with ripped off stapler-holes on the edge, with a handwriting that was thankfully pretty legible. She skimmed over the words and mumble-read it to Scott on the other end.
Hey, if you wake up before I do, don’t panic. You’re not kidnapped and we haven't hooked up or anything either. You were really drunk yesterday so I was giving you a ride home, but you passed out before you could tell me the address so I let you crash at my place instead. The door is unlocked so you can get out any time you want. Please don’t steal anything.
Martyn
“What does it say? Are you safe?” Scott asked. Apparently her mumbling hadn’t been that effective.
“Do you know who Martyn is?” she asked, ignoring his question because it was second nature to be petty to Scott. It sounded vaguely familiar, though she was terrible with names.
He went quiet for a second. “With a ‘Y’ or an ‘I’?”
“A ‘Y’, it says he brought me to his place when I passed out yesterday. I passed out?”
“I…”
“Not kidnapped anywho, if that’s what you’re worried about,” she muttered, a bit bitterly but she was only human.
“Pearl. Do you remember anything about last night?”
“I fear my head will explode when I think too hard, so no.”
“Oh. Well. Probably for the best. At least you’re safe… hopefully. Just, please be careful around Martyn.”
“Hah, sure, always am.”
“I’m serious, Pearl. If I were you I’d get out of there.”
“So now you care about me?”
“Unfortunately, yes.”
“Naww.”
“Nothing has changed because I don’t want you to be dead. I’m just here to pick up some stuff, call me when you get back.”
“Scott, wait-”
The line went dead. Great. She threw her phone to the floor with as much force her hungover body could manage. It thudded weakly on the floor.
Getting up to a standing position made stars flood to her head and the floor tilt like a funhouse, and she soon fell right back into the squeaky couch. The second attempt was slower but better, and she only had to combat a slight dizziness, plus the ever present beating headache, as she made her way over to the door on her right. She gently pushed it open.
It was way darker inside of Martyn’s bedroom. Thick gray blinds covered the windows, creating black squares with sunlight edges. On the queen sized bed lay a bulging shape beneath the sheets, his shoulders and blonde head peeking out and both hands nestled underneath the pillow. His face was featureless in the dark. She leaned against the doorframe and knocked gently on the door until the figure roused. A couple seconds of bleary orientation passed before he seemed to clock the situation.
“Oh. Hey.”
“Hi.” She gave a small wave. “You said no stealing, but do you by any chance have some aspirin I could, uh, borrow? My head is murdering me.”
“Yeah, uh…” He propped himself up on his elbows and pressed his fingers into his eyes. Pearl sympathized. “Ibuprofen ok?”
“I’ll take anything.”
“Bathroom cupboard, top shelf, blue box.”
“Thanks.”
She closed the door. She hadn’t recognized the voice, so maybe she didn’t know the guy after all. It would be nice to get a proper look at him before she left, but she wouldn’t go out of her way to wake the poor dude up again.
The bathroom was somewhat cleaner than the rest of the apartment. The shower had sleek green curtains, adding a bit of color, which was pleasant. There were two toothbrushes as well, one blue and one green with a red floral pattern. Girlfriend, maybe? She really doubted this guy had a roomie.
Less pleasant was the mirror on the cupboard where she caught sight of her reflection. She looked like she felt; like shit. Sticky hair, smudged makeup, baggy eyes. Her whole body felt heavy and sweaty, and a sniff beneath her arm made her wrinkle her nose and add “stinky” to her current list of adjectives. She hated not being clean. It made her itch.
The blue plastic box was easy to find, and so was the ibuprofen laying on the top layer of part medicinal items and part random junk like hair clips and rubber bands. There was also a fuck ton of bandaids, a bottle of adderall, and a testosterone injection kit, because she couldn’t help being nosy. However, there was a far more interesting item peeking out from the bottom, a prescription bottle that didn’t catch her attention until after she had downed the painkiller and was about to put the box back on the shelf.
It was one of those drugs, those who cartoon characters in TV anti-drug campaigns warned against and doctors only prescribe under uttermost vigilance. The kind she used to take great care to stay away from, the same way she did with cigarettes and alcohol. But that person felt very far away as she held the bottle in her hand. Funny how much 48 hours could change a woman.
She put three pills in her pocket, not knowing until far later the twist of fate that one action had just caused.
Martyn was heading across the living room when she got out. Her wish to see his face was granted. He was dressed in a green T-shirt and jeans, and had the same familiar headband around his head, just like he used to.
"It’s you!" She blurted.
He startled, stopping in his tracks. “It’s… what?” he buffered.
Martyn. That’s why it was so familiar. If she’d been asked to name Grian’s old friend with the bandana she probably could have shaken up the answer sooner or later, but as she hadn’t sent a thought his way for years at that point, the idea that this Martyn was that Martyn hadn’t struck her for a second. He was a background actor in a background memory. Considering the lengths he'd apparently gone to help her, it made her feel pretty guilty.
"I had totally forgotten your name and your voice has dropped by like an octave, I'm so sorry."
He seemed to connect the dots, and suddenly barked a laugh. "You thought I was a stranger?”
“Kind of?”
He chuckled. “I mean, fair, I suppose. Awfully confident asking a stranger for meds, though."
Pearl shrugged. "Fear don’t got much on me these days."
Martyn hummed, like he’d unlocked new character info and was storing it away under the 'Pearl' file.
"Right, well now that you figured out my identity," he continued, "I need to clarify that I'm not normally this messy."
"Girlfriend away or something?"
He went silent, cluing Pearl that she was wrong.
“Boyfriend?”
He went to say something, then hesitated and spoke anew. "I mean, yeah, in a sense. The first one, that is. She uh… we broke up."
“Oh.” As if feeling like trash wasn’t enough, she now felt like an idiot as well. “I didn’t know.”
“Yeah, I figured.”
Silence followed. Fantasies about sinking through the ground or being pelted by a legion’s stash of arrows floated through Pearl’s mind. She cleared her throat.
“Look, I’d like nothing more than to get out of your hair, but is there any chance I could borrow your shower real quick first?”
“Oh, sure, go for it,” Martyn perked. “Want a change of shirt?”
“You don’t have to-”
“I know, I know, just… Would you like one?”
"Uh… do you have anything that fits?"
"I'll see what I can find."
He walked off without another word, and Pearl, after buffering a bit herself, slid back into the bathroom. Scott’s words of warning came back to her, which she found increasingly hard to believe. If Martyn had been flawlessly charming and clean, then she wouldn’t have had any trouble judging him as a problem and potential danger. Instead what she’d been met with was a messy, awkward, probably heartbroken boy who still put his foot forward with kindness. Screw what Scott thought, she liked this guy.
She locked the door, just to be sure.

Incredible. Thank you for enabling me
If there’s a * then I do take and encourage criticism.
Assuming third life everyone is level 1, last life they level up to 2, and so on.
Scar is a lvl 1 Bard in 3rd life. This man talked his way in and out of everything. He abused the friends cantrip. He took the charlatan background and ran with it. Last life he became a lvl 2 bard. You may think, oh but he was a wizard - wrong. Charlatan. He’s still a bard. All his spells are in schools of enchantment and illusion (I don’t have the book with me atm or the bard spell list memorized so don’t come for me). Double life Scar took one level into ranger. He got the Jellie pandas as familiars. Limited life Scar took his 2nd level in ranger with the Archery fighting style - HotGuy. Self explanatory. In secret life he took his 3rd level into bard and college of whispers as his subclass. Secrets used against others, deception, on no one’s side? You see what I’m going for here.
TLDR: Scar lvl 3 Bard (College of Whispers), lvl 2 Ranger; Charlatan
Grian. He is a Paladin. I’m so normal about this. No oath until level 3, but paladins prepare for them until then. But for flavor, his oath is to Scar. After he kills him accidentally, swearing fealty and his first life - that’s so Paladin oath coded. I’m so normal about this. Paladin Grian with a haunted one background because of the watchers. last life he takes a second level into paladin as well. Yall might think he doesn’t fit the paladin build but you can easily do a dex based paladin with the weapon proficiencies for finesse. Level two he took the blind fighting style, which gives him extra sight abilities. Watcher stuff. You see it right? Double life he takes third level and becomes an oath breaker. He cheats on Scar, he went against him in last life. He killed him at the end of 3rd life. He’s got no oath. He had the option to turn back to his potential for an oath of devotion, but no. Limited life he takes another paladin level*. Secret life he takes one level into rogue*. The trickery and deception and the whole theme of it fits.
TLDR: Grian lvl 4 Paladin (Oath Breaker), lvl 1 Rogue; Haunted One
Scott is a Druid. Flower husbands, my beloved. He has an acolyte background*. Lvl 1 in druid in 3rd life and lvl 2 in druid for last Life. Which subclass? Circle of the stars. It's perfect for him. Double Life he goes another level into druid. I'm seeing all the elemental magic here with the powdered snow damage to get to Pearl. In Limited Life, he takes a level into cleric in the life domain (haha). He will also do a second level into cleric for secret life. Why? In both he sacrificed himself to give allies time/health. The cleric just fits, especially life domain (you could convince me of death domain maybe).
TLDR: Scott lvl 3 Druid (Circle of Stars), lvl 2 Cleric (Life Domain) ; Acolyte
This may be cruel but I just feel like Jimmy never gets past level 1 because of the canary curse. I'm tempted to say he is also a Haunted One for background because of the curse, but he doesn't have the right personality for it*. He's a lvl 1 wild magic sorcerer and is just so so unlucky. Dying to things that are out of his control and traps not meant for him, terrible rolls for lives in last life, bad luck with meeting his soulmate through death in double Life. The wild magic table is being so cruel to him. The thing that changes, is he actually goes to lvl 2 for Secret life, because the canary curse gets broken.
TLDR: Jimmy lvl 2 Sorcerer (Wild Magic); Haunted One
Ren is a lvl 1 barbarian in 3rd life. Going red being an allegory for entering his rage. I'm obsessed with Barbarian Ren with the Noble background. In last life he took another level into Barbarian. Danger sense and reckless attack are just great for so many people in last life. In double life he takes his third level into barbarian with the beast path.
TLDR: Ren lvl 3 Barbarian (Beast Path); Noble
Martyn - I want to make Martyn a paladin for third life, but alas, he is a fighter. lvl 1 fighter with the Knight background in 3rd life. He's still a fighter in last life and double life. It's the easiest class to get the hang of, good for someone bad at math. In his 3rd level he takes the Samuri subclass, it just fits him being kinda a weeb and all. limited life is where it gets interesting. He multiclasses into warlock with the Great Old One as his patron - for either the Watchers or the Listeners. He continues with that into secret life, which I personally think the Watchers as the patron is more fun for.
TLDR: Martyn lvl 3 Fighter (Samuri), lvl 2 Warlock (The Great Old One); Knight
I have thoughts about all the other players too this is just all I can write out during my lunch break. I will be back
Would anyone want to hear my opinions on dnd classes for life series players?

our previous victors have been the sun, the stars, and the moon. i've seen some ideas bounced around for what the next victor should be. i've also noticed that the life series writes itself so well that it feels almost like a sentient being.
theoretically, it's possible for this discussion of the next victor's motif to be moot by having a previous victor win again, but narratively i find a repeat victor highly unlikely. so that crosses grian, scott, and pearl off the list.
i've seen a lot of people suggest that the next victor should be the earth. now, i can't think of anyone who stands out as particularly earth-coded, but if any of you can, please feel free to bring it up.
I was set on a Martyn win at first, since if the others are the Sun, the Stars, and the Moon, then he's the Void, the darkness between celestial bodies. He also has a track record of surviving until near the end. However as it currently stands he's in a duo with Scott, who is cursed to outlive every partner, meaning the odds aren't in his favor unless this alliance falls apart. Given how these two players are, I don't expect this alliance to fall apart until one of them dies. So I'm not expecting him to win this season, however if we get a fifth, or if a third player is brought into the alliance, my money's on him.
Another player I find to be a likely victor thematically is Joel, since he's the Sky due to Empires. Curse-wise, he's got a more likely chance, since despite his being allied with Grian who's cursed to kill his loved ones, the two are also allied with Jimmy, who's cursed to die first every time, making Grian statistically far more likely to kill Jimmy than Joel. Should Jimmy die to anything other than Grian, however, Joel's chances of victory drop dramatically.
So that's two guys who would both make great victors thematically, but as it stands are in alliances that might get them killed.
Considering the mechanic of this season, Bdubs would also make a great victor, because he's been associated with clocks since season 1, meaning his winning this one would be perfect with his symbolism. I've seen a post saying the victor of this season should be Time, and it would feel weird to give that one to anyone other than Bdubs. His alliance is also less likely to get him killed than the other two. And sure, he's not uploading so that might mess with his chance of victory, but hey, we didn't see his hard-hitting final death in Last Life from his perspective either.
Who else... well, who's NOT likely to win? As mentioned, previous victors are probably not going to win again. Jimmy's also cursed to die first every time, and Cleo generally dies before her allies. Skizz is almost definitely going to die early on. Tango has a death-based curse too, in that he dies alone, often by no fault of his own or in a meaningless way. This could possibly work for victory in this season specifically, but I find it far more likely that he's going to run out of time while on the way to do something.
Not sure how to end this.
everyone's predicting winners based on things like skill level and previous survival track records and over here i'm going by who would be most likely to win thematically
