Saw a post with the line "suffering from BD and ED," and until now idk what else ED could mean, aside from erectile dysfunction. The context clues provided in the entire sentence don't seem to be connected to ED though.
In other news (in my life), I've become bored and tired of job hunting. Many of the other things I used to do have also become... pointless. Now, I'm on foodpanda looking for shops near our place but I never really buy anything either. The price difference when you buy in-store and through the app is sky-high. I'm too lazy to spend money.
I've also become tired of reaching out to friends. Friend 1 from college recently became active in chatting again probably because of her upcoming birthday. But after a few more exchanges of words, I've found the conversation to be dull and without substance. It's tiring.
Friend 2 has really disconnected because of a newfound relationship. Turning off the notifications on messaging apps have brought me peace.
Friend 3 is busy with residency and "reads" my messages but doesn't really reply. I get it, you're busy, but I didn't send those things as an FYI. It's been a month, you know.
Anyway, people have their own lives and the only ones I get along with are some workmates. Recently, the conversation has steered towards non-work-related matters like books and exercise. I really feel like I want to go out and run because I just want to.
Maybe get some pasta along the way, too.

Bold flavors – Think soy sauce, ginger, garlic, chili, and lemongrass.

Versatility – From vegan-friendly tofu dishes to meat-heavy BBQ, Asian food fits every lifestyle.
Popular Types of Asian Food
Asian food isn’t just one style — it spans many countries, each with its own iconic dishes and cooking techniques:
🍜 Chinese Cuisine

🍱 Japanese Cuisine
Known for sushi, sashimi, ramen, and tempura. Japanese food emphasizes minimalism, presentation, and fresh ingredients.

Full of spice and vibrancy. Signature dishes include Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and Green Curry — always a balance of hot, sour, sweet, and salty.

marriage is a crazy relationship really. last night reached my endurance limit and released all my pent up frustrations by crying an ocean. it's so bad that i called in sick today bc my eyes are so sore i cannot just go to work and let my officemates look at me with prying eyes. idk if birth control pills has something to do with this but bro, i'm really a mess. both my thoughts and myself.
as a struggling law student who's also trying to handle family problems (my ex-family prior to marriage), managing a subordinate and struggle to reach work targets and at the same time be a doting wife, sometimes the pressure to be more is just too much to handle.
my weekdays are mostly spent on work and planning what meal to prep daily. these activities consume so much of my time that i end up staying late just to redeem and wipe off the tiredness of the day while on weekends, i'm a struggling student trying to stay afloat.
yesterday was the penultimate moment as we were dismissed from class at around 4 pm. hungry and tired from all of that we still manage to visit my family home to drop off some goods with the thought that we'll be going home afterwards. i started ranting that we don't even have food yet. to which my husband said that we can just order via foodpanda or grab food but my head was saying that fastfood stalls are just less than 5 mins away from our location but they were persistent that food delivery app is better. i even suggested that we order for pick up the food to save time but both my husband and his mom were saying that we opt for delivery. my mood was not the very best that time and it's even worse coz am hungry. one of their dogs, after swimming in a puddle, ran toward us, splashing me with the puddle water. my husband who saw what happened tried to hand me the facial wipes which i rejected saying that it's no big deal and that i'll just change clothes when i go home. i guess i said it with a scowling face bc my MIL said afterwards that i can eat while we're driving home. she must have sensed my pent-up rage.
anyway we had a messy confrontation with the husband. i really went all out while even through tears, i blurted that i find it unfair that my husband and his family demands quality time when i'm this knackered. i told him our energy has a different starting point. while everyone of them are just giddy to go out, take a breather and all that after spending their time relaxing, i was there spending that time attending class. while their energy level is full, i'm drained. and my husband's way of releasing his frustration when i'm picking on him over the littlest things by saying that "you're always angry" just hit me with the thought that he's not even trying to be empathetic abt all of these. what i'm going through, what goes through my head, it's like the husband who was supposed to be my best ally has just thrown me under the bus bc he's trying to bandaid a little bruise.
later that night, he coaxed me to go back to our room and said he'll stay in the sofa in order to give us some space.
that drama cost us 17 kwh of electricity compared to the usual 11 kwh usage during weekends. fighting is really non-economical but such is the way of life

Thailand Foodservice Market: Trends, Opportunities, and Future Outlook
The foodservice market in Thailand is a dynamic and rapidly growing sector, driven by evolving consumer preferences, increasing tourism, and rising disposable incomes. This article delves into the current landscape, key trends, challenges, and future opportunities in the Thai foodservice market.
1. Overview of the Thailand Foodservice Market
Thailand’s foodservice market is one of the most vibrant in Southeast Asia, with a diverse range of players, from street food vendors to high-end restaurants and international franchises. The market is fueled by the country's rich culinary heritage, a growing middle class, and the increasing influence of Western and Asian cuisines.
The foodservice sector in Thailand is segmented into:
Full-Service Restaurants (FSR): Including fine dining, casual dining, and family-style restaurants.
Quick Service Restaurants (QSR): Fast food chains, food stalls, and kiosks.
Cafés and Bars: Coffee shops, tea houses, and pubs.
Street Food and Hawker Centers: A significant part of Thailand's food culture, offering affordable and authentic local dishes.
Institutional Catering: Services for schools, hospitals, and corporate offices.
2. Key Trends in the Thailand Foodservice Market
a. Growing Demand for Healthy and Organic Options
As health consciousness rises among Thai consumers, there is a growing demand for healthier food options, including organic, plant-based, and low-calorie meals. Many restaurants and foodservice providers are adapting their menus to include vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as gluten-free and low-sugar alternatives.
b. Digital Transformation and Food Delivery Services
The digitalization of foodservices, including the rise of food delivery apps like GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Lineman, has revolutionized how consumers access food. Online ordering and delivery have become standard, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated the shift towards contactless dining options.
c. Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Practices
Sustainability is becoming a key focus for the foodservice industry in Thailand. Restaurants and foodservice operators are adopting eco-friendly practices, such as reducing plastic usage, sourcing locally, and minimizing food waste. This trend is driven by both regulatory pressures and changing consumer expectations.
d. Rise of Fusion and Experiential Dining
Fusion cuisine, combining Thai flavors with international culinary influences, is gaining popularity, especially in urban centers like Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Experiential dining, where the ambiance and presentation are as important as the food itself, is also on the rise, attracting food enthusiasts looking for unique and Instagrammable experiences.
3. Challenges in the Thailand Foodservice Market
Despite its growth, the foodservice market in Thailand faces several challenges:
a. Labor Shortages and High Turnover Rates
The industry is grappling with a shortage of skilled labor, particularly chefs and service staff. High turnover rates, partly due to the demanding nature of the job, further exacerbate this issue, making it difficult for foodservice operators to maintain consistent service quality.
b. Rising Operational Costs
Increasing costs for ingredients, utilities, and rents are putting pressure on profit margins. The fluctuating prices of imported goods, driven by global supply chain disruptions, add another layer of complexity for operators relying on foreign ingredients.
c. Intense Competition
With the influx of international food chains and a growing number of local players, the market is highly competitive. Foodservice operators need to continuously innovate and differentiate themselves to capture and retain customers.
4. Future Opportunities in the Thailand Foodservice Market
a. Expansion of Cloud Kitchens
Cloud kitchens, or virtual kitchens that operate exclusively for delivery, are gaining traction as they offer a cost-effective way to reach customers without the overhead costs associated with traditional brick-and-mortar establishments. This model is particularly appealing for startups and small businesses looking to enter the market.
b. Growth of Local and Authentic Thai Brands
There is an increasing appreciation for authentic and locally-owned foodservice brands. As consumers seek genuine dining experiences, there is ample opportunity for local businesses to capitalize on this trend by highlighting their unique heritage and traditional recipes.
c. Adoption of Advanced Technologies
The adoption of advanced technologies, such as AI-driven customer service, contactless payment systems, and data analytics for personalized marketing, is set to reshape the foodservice landscape in Thailand. Embracing these technologies can enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
d. Expansion of Tourism-Driven Food Services
As Thailand continues to be a top tourist destination, the foodservice sector stands to benefit immensely. Restaurants and food vendors that cater to tourists by offering authentic Thai dishes and cultural dining experiences will likely see significant growth.

We split into pairs, just like we did before, aiming for a more intimate connection with our potential customers scattered around the Central Mindanao University (CMU) campus.

Wandering through the grounds, we were fortunate to engage in candid conversations with various individuals, each sharing their unique insights on WeFetch. Our app, inspired by the likes of Angkas and FoodPanda, aims to go beyond conventional boundaries, offering an array of services such as transportation, food delivery, and even the option to send personalized items to someone special. The richness of our interviews went beyond a mere exchange of opinions; it delved into the potential impact of WeFetch on people's lives. The heartening feedback we received during these conversations echoed the sentiment that WeFetch isn't just about services; it's about creating opportunities. Whether you're a student looking for a part-time gig or someone seeking full-time employment, WeFetch opens its doors, provided you have a driver's license and get the green light from our system.

Amidst the positive vibes, we also encountered valuable suggestions, particularly around the user interface. Some shared concerns about the potential learning curve, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that WeFetch is effortlessly navigable for everyone. This feedback resonated with us, underlining the need to make our app not just innovative but also inclusive.
One standout theme that emerged was the impact WeFetch could have on student life. The convenience it offers, especially for those with dorms situated far from the campus or those attending night classes, struck a chord. Beyond being a job provider, WeFetch became a beacon of safety, ensuring that students could book a ride or service anytime, anywhere within Central Mindanao University.
These conversations weren't just about data collection; they were about building connections, understanding stories, and weaving the human experience into the fabric of WeFetch. As we gear up for our final pitch, these encounters continue to guide us, making WeFetch not just a technological solution but a human-centric one.
