just saw a pinterest comment that suggested learning how to crochet instead of learning how to knit because it's easier and i can't keep silent anymore i have to confess that i wrote my cass learns how to knit fic because i need people to love knitting in the same way that i need people to love cass. the crochet vs knitting metaphor argument exists because i've had that conversation (minus the metaphor and also it was jokingly silly with my friends) with me arguing the side of knitting and as much as i love projecting onto characters stephanie brown would never in her life be against crochet. she would adore crochet. i don't actually dislike crochet its good for things that knitting will never be able to do like baskets and is so much better for stuffed animals and i think it's better for things like bralettes and bags but knitting is so good for clothing it's stretchy and more flowy. crochet is so good for items that need to hold a little more structure but in my opinion knitting makes more comfortable clothing and crochet got so popular in the last couple of years but knitting did not and knitting is not more difficult!! knitting is fun and good and i love her!!!

must say again that mgs3 ocelot is so so compelling to me. in my head he's the perfect little prodigy boy who has his position as a major at just 20 yrs old thru a combination of nepotism and real skill, real gifted kid who's excelled at everything he's ever tried, triple agent fooling absolutely everyone, trying out combat techniques he's only read or heard about in the field bc he knows he'll just Get it right away, and it's like partially true that he's very good but he's not That good, there's people pulling strings behind the scenes to get him there, but he doesn't see them and thinks he got this all by himself. and i need to put this smarmy little man in my mouth and shake him like a dog with a toy.

Loki’s not Altez, he’s the God of Stories.

For all of the people arguing that Loki isn’t actually the god of stories and that he’s more similar to Altez, the multiversal custodian who holds everything together and looks over existence from the outside in the comics….. Loki creating Yggdrasil/taking the throne isn’t what made him GOS. He became GOS at the end of episode 5 and the reasoning is actually based on mcu time travel rules.

In the mcu, anytime someone goes back and changes anything in the past, it doesn’t actually affect that timeline- instead, it creates a new branched reality. The only reason the avengers were able to circumvent this in endgame was because He Who Remains wrote their tampering into the sacred timeline, so it was always supposed to happen. This is true even after the multiverse is set free- in fact, that’s what the multiverse is (a bunch of different choices all spawning new realities that creates an infinitely expanding tree of possibilities).

Loki is the only exception to this. He can timeslip back and alter events on a specific timeline and actually change the future of that universe, without creating a branch reality. He did this when he was gathering his friends in 2x5, when he was trying to save the loom, and when he tried to fix things at the citadel. He doesn’t just create new timelines, he can actually rewrite timelines. In other words, he can rewrite stories.

cannot stop thinking about an au where it was satoru who snapped. who lost his mind. who defected. a role reversal, if you will. he gets nanako and mimiko, he severs all ties with the gojo clan. he gets the girls, he raises them, loves them. suguru is the one left at the school. it is suguru who gets megumi. suguru who has to remedy and mend the fact that that's toji's kid. i'd just be so curious about the dynamics. the differences. i'm salivating frankly

also cannot stop thinking about an au where it's not non-sorcerers that suguru is going after, it's the elders. the higher ups. the whole FUCKED UP system, suguru wants burnt to the ground. he'll kill non-sorcerers, sure, for doing what was done at the village to nanako and mimiko, but he doesn't actually have anything completely, or solely, against them. his main enemies are the ones who continue to perpetuate a failing system. i was just thinking about it. would anyone join him? would anyone else want to make a change, starting from the people up top? satoru, shoko, nanami? anyone? if suguru's mission isn't one of massacring random civilians who don't know better, but actually going after those who do and still decide not to change — would this be a different story entirely?
