From Foam to Block: Exploring the Different Types of Bow Targets Available
Tumblr media
Foam targets are popular among archers due to their affordability and ease of use. Bow target blocks are typically made from compressed foam layers or blocks. The foam composition allows arrows to penetrate the target without damaging it significantly. Foam targets come in different shapes and sizes, including traditional round targets and 3D animal-shaped targets. They are lightweight and portable, making them suitable for outdoor shooting and field archery. However, foam targets can wear out relatively quickly, especially with extensive use, and may require occasional replacement or repair.
Block targets, also known as layered foam or compressed foam targets, are constructed from multiple compressed foam layers. The layers are bonded together to form a solid block. The advantage of block targets is that they offer excellent stopping power, even for high-speed compound bows. They are designed to withstand continuous use and are known for their longevity. Block targets provide easy arrow removal, and the layered construction allows for multiple shooting surfaces, increasing the overall lifespan of the target. However, they can be bulkier and heavier than other types of targets, making them less portable.
How do you make a bow target?
Determine the size and shape of your Bow targets. You can choose a round shape or any other desired shape based on your preferences and shooting practice goals. The common dimensions for a round target range from 36 to 48 inches (91 to 122 cm) in diameter.
Measure and mark the dimensions on the foam sheets or blocks. If using multiple foam sheets or blocks, ensure they are cut to the same size.
Use a utility knife or foam cutting tool to carefully cut the foam according to your marked dimensions.
If desired, prepare a sturdy backing material, such as plywood, to provide additional support for the foam target. Cut the plywood to the same size as the foam target.
Apply carpenter's glue or adhesive to one side of the foam sheets or blocks. Press the layers together firmly, ensuring they are aligned properly. If using a backing material, place the glued foam onto the plywood or backing material and press it down to adhere.
Allow the adhesive to dry completely as per the manufacturer's instructions. This step is crucial for ensuring a strong bond between the foam layers and the backing material.
Optional: To enhance the durability of the target, you can wrap the edges of the foam with duct tape or strong adhesive tape. This helps protect the foam from wear and tear and reinforces the edges.
Your homemade bow target is now ready to use. Set it up in a safe and suitable location for shooting practice. Ensure there is sufficient space behind the target to catch arrows safely.
What are block targets made of?
Block targets are typically made of compressed foam or layered foam. The foam used in block targets is a specially formulated material designed to have high density and durability. It is often composed of polyurethane foam or a similar synthetic foam material. The manufacturing process involves compressing multiple layers of foam together to form a solid block. The layers are bonded to create a cohesive and sturdy target surface. The foam layers are carefully selected to provide optimal arrow-stopping power while allowing for easy arrow removal. The specific composition and construction of block targets may vary among different manufacturers and models. However, the overall aim is to create a target that can withstand repeated arrow impacts without significant damage and maintain its stopping power over an extended period of use.
Types of bow targets available
There are several types of bowtargets available for archery practice. Here are some common types:
Foam Targets: Foam targets are made of compressed foam layers or blocks. They allow arrows to penetrate without causing significant damage and are available in various shapes and sizes. Foam targets are lightweight and portable, making them suitable for outdoor shooting and field archery.
Bag Targets: Bag targets are constructed with durable fabric materials and filled with synthetic fibers or shredded fabric scraps. They offer easy arrow removal and durability, making them suitable for both field and target archery. Bag targets often feature multiple aiming points for enhanced practice sessions.
Block Targets: Block targets, also known as layered foam or compressed foam targets, consist of multiple compressed foam layers bonded together. They provide excellent stopping power, even for high-speed compound bows. Block targets are known for their longevity and can withstand continuous use.
3D Targets: 3D targets mimic real-life animals and are primarily used for hunting practice. They are often made of foam or other durable materials. 3D bow targets provide a realistic shooting experience, allowing archers to aim for specific areas on the target, such as vitals. They come in various animal shapes and sizes and are popular among bowhunters.
Straw Targets: Straw targets, also called bales, are constructed by tightly compacting straw into a solid mass. They have been used in archery for centuries and are commonly used in traditional and field archery. Straw targets offer good stopping power and are relatively inexpensive.
Paper Targets: Paper targets are printed sheets with various designs, including bullseye patterns, animal shapes, or scoring rings. They are commonly used for indoor and outdoor target archery practice. Paper targets are lightweight, inexpensive, and easily replaceable.
Reinforced Targets: Reinforced targets are made of a combination of materials to enhance durability and arrow-stopping power. They often feature multiple layers of foam, fabric, or other high-density materials, providing excellent resistance to arrow penetration.
What kind of foam is used in bow targets?
The foam used in bow targets is typically a type of closed-cell foam called ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. EVA foam is a popular choice due to its desirable properties for archery targets. It is known for its durability, density, and ability to absorb and stop arrows effectively. EVA foam is also resistant to water, UV radiation, and general wear and tear, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. EVA foam targets often consist of multiple layers or blocks of compressed foam. These layers are bonded together to form a solid and sturdy target surface. The specific composition and density of the foam may vary among different manufacturers and target models to achieve optimal stopping power and arrow penetration resistance. Overall, EVA foam has become a preferred material for bow targets due to its ability to withstand repeated arrow impacts while maintaining its structural integrity.
Unveiling the Versatility of Bow Targets, from Foam to Block
In the world of archery, having the right target is crucial for effective practice sessions. From foam to block targets, there is a wide range of options available to cater to different archery needs. Foam targets provide affordability and ease of use, while bag targets offer durability and easy arrow removal. Block targets excel in stopping power and longevity, while straw targets bring a traditional touch. 3D targets provide a realistic hunting experience. By considering factors such as shooting style, practice goals, and portability requirements, archers can choose the target that suits them best. Whether it's honing skills or preparing for a hunt, the diverse world of bow targets offers something for everyone. So grab your bow, take aim, and hit the mark with confidence.

a little coincidence i like in We Need To Talk About Kevin is the fact that a lot of archery targets are made from something called ‘EVA’ foam - and Eva is the name of Kevin’s mother. and she was his real target all along

can you infodump about connor as well pretty please 💚
oof this one is a bit tougher because haze dogs is a bit more nebulous because of who i am as a person. but let's give this a go
most of connor's clothes are repurposed from other people's closets (this includes both her parents and her best friend delilah). she likes to sew odd pieces together and mismatch things. an example of this is her outfit at the beginning of the book where she goes to the party in an cutesy white dress but she's wearing a spiked collar, chain bracelets, and worn converse with black tights.
when i say connor is like the alt best friend in a 00s movie i am talking she has the energy of the best friend in sitcoms or teen girl movies who wore like 3 pounds of clips on her hair, painted her nails metallic blue and wore dark clothes. that's connor's vibe.
did archery in school. does still practice sometimes on targets made with old bedsheets and foam inside garbage bags
she's mean on purpose. she's fully aware of how unpleasant she can be and thrives on it, you make your fun how you can in a haunted dying town. only goes out of her way to be pleasant with her parents and people she considers friends
there's a 7ish year differende between her and benjy, her older brother
maximalist bedroom like that of teenage girls in old movies and tv shows
to balance out the Everything that is going to happen to connor i gave her loving parents. i am undecided on don hidalgo's name but doña mejía's name is irma <3
connor considers her mum's mutt dog miel more of a sibling to her than benjy lmao
and speaking of dogs she's friends with the sheepdog that guards the herd the town keeps as bait for the haze dogs. the barbed wire fence of the herd's pasture comes up close to connor's house so they're acquainted
cat's approach to getting attention. will start dropping things from high places so people look at her
says she "could be an arsonist if she wanted to". fascination for fire, one of her favourite past times is just lighting a candle and burning things and see what happens (what happens is fire)
you know how i mentioned she steals clothes and accessories. she does it with other things too. like whatever she can find at the vidal manor, including an oil painting that hangs on her bedroom wall now
enjoys floor time. it's not rare to find her fast asleep on the carpet

Weird and unrelated headcanons regarding [the] Hawkeye[s] and Target ®
1. Clint gets seen in public wearing one of his own #Hawkeye #archery #yes Hawkeye has merch t-shirts that just so happens to have a target on it. Anyways, it’s too close to the Target logo and he ends up getting sued
2. Clint and Kate most definitely dress Lucky up as the Target dog because of obvious reasons
3. Target reaches out to Clint regarding a possible sponsorship because targets, arrows, they’ve kinda sorta (not really) got the same thing going on. Clint says no because Clinton is Clinton and maybe doesn’t actually know what Target is, though he knows what A target is, and he never misses. But Nat tells him it’s a stupid idea
4. Clint and Kate get up to shenanigans and end up getting jobs at Target for the aesthetic. They both get fired not too long after
5. Clint and Kate go to Target with nerf guns and the foam bullets with suction cups that actually work, and precede to see how many bullseyes they can get from all the hidden target logos in the store (neither of them miss a single shot surprise surprise)

Legend of Zelda Theme Park - Skyward Realm (UPDATED)
Tumblr media
The Skyward Realm was a later addition to my theme park concept (much like how fully explorable airborne environments didn’t become a thing until relatively recently in the franchise). It obviously draws inspiration from Skyward Sword and the sky islands of Tears of the Kingdom, but you can also meet the Rito here, and elements from a few of the LoZ series’ sky-themed dungeons are used for flavor.
Strikingly, the area is built to a much higher elevation than the rest of the park–it sits atop a structure as much as 100 feet tall (which doubles as a show building for a few rides). The edges of the structure are covered in artificial clouds to emphasize the “skyborne” nature of the area, and the buildings are decorated with colorful pinwheels and flags to catch the breeze. (Some of the larger ones are marked on the map with asterisks.) Only a small strip of the area’s footprint is at ground level, to contain the entrances and/or exits of the escalators, elevators, and rides that make the Skyward Realm accessible. A peaceful music loop of tunes associated with aerial environments, the Rito, and flight scenarios plays throughout the area.
Tumblr media
Attractions
Ancient Cannon: The queue and loading area for this ride are actually at ground level, because the point is to be a more exciting means of traveling to the Skyward Realm. A powerful magnetic launch sends guests shooting up a steep slope to the upper level, where they disembark; the car then reverses gently down the track for the next bunch.
Sailcloth Plunge: By the same token, those looking to return to ground level might take this ride, a simple parachute drop.
Flight Range: One of the most technologically sophisticated rides in the park, this one combines arm-mounted vehicles with 3D screen effects and “virtual” bows and arrows so guests can test their archery skills at Revali’s own target-shooting range!
Landing Platform: A meet-and-greet for Rito characters (Revali, Kass, Medli, Tulin), who actually “soar” in from a nearby tower (via zipline) when they’re ready for the guests!
Wing Ceremony: Echoing Universal’s Dueling Dragons, this relatively gentle suspended coaster features two interweaving tracks and red and blue cars with a Loftwing motif. The track actually extends over the edge of the Skyward Realm for a sensation of true flight!
Astral Observatory: Officially the highest point in Hyrule, this mysterious tower contains many beautiful star charts, astronomical instruments, and other details to peruse while enjoying a mystical music playlist and waiting your turn to peer through one of the telescopes for an unparalleled (and AR-enhanced) view of the kingdom.
Eagus’s Sword Academy: Kids 12 and under receive foam swords and instruction in a variety of sword moves from none other than Eagus, the swordmaster of the Skyloft Knights Academy! Up to four “lessons” (shows) a day.
Shops
8. Oocca Pod Shop: Named for the odd little shop in the City in the Sky in Twilight Princess, this shop offers a variety of kites, gliders, and other airborne toys (but please don’t throw them off the edge of the Realm).
9. Brazen Beak Plumage Boutique: Named after the Rito Village clothing store in Breath of the Wild and providing much the same function here—souvenir clothing and feathered accessories such as headbands, hair clips, cockades, and costume wings.
Eateries
10. The Lumpy Pumpkin: Based on the inn of the same name from Skyward Sword, this buffet restaurant serves home-style food with pumpkin specialties.
11. Light Lunches: Heavy meals won't do for flying creatures, so this counter service restaurant offers a variety of prepackaged salads, fruit bowls, flaky pastries, and fluffy mousse desserts, for adventurers who don't want to be weighed down.
12. Luv & Bertie's Enhanced Elixirs: Another beverage location in the vein of the Potion Hut, this one themed to the potion-making couple from Skyward Sword.
Miscellaneous
Like Epona Ranch, the Skyward Realm has no Spirit Train station of its own. It is readily accessed from the one attached to Zora’s Domain (pictured, but not labeled).
The three pearl-like icons indicate the locations of Zonai Device Dispensers as described in this post.

#COTCreekWeek Day 3 - Past / Future
Basebatarrowtargetball has been the sport of the future ever since Maya and Omar made it up this afternoon.
Read under the cut or here.
“This is going to be awesome.”
“Awesome?” Omar yells back to Maya. He’s standing a distance away, but he’s mainly yelling out of excitement. “This is going to change the way people in America experience sports!”
“You know it!” Maya yells back and readies her stance. She taps the edge of her bat on the flat rock in front of her.
The bat thunks against the rock, and tells her she’s in position. She brings it up around her shoulder. “Ready when you are.”
“I was born ready,” quips Omar. He notches the suction cup arrow to his bow. He straightens the arm holding the bow, and pulls the arrow back with his other hand. “Get ready for the first pitch ever of basebatarrowtargetball!”
Basebatarrowtargetball has been the sport of the future ever since Maya and Omar made it up this afternoon. It combines their two sports of choice and their four materials available.
The bases are, as said before, rocks. They went down to the creek and picked the four most base-like rocks they could find, and hauled them all the way out to the clearing that the premiere game would be held in.
The bat was easy. Maya never left home without it. She claims that she never wants to miss a chance to practice, so she always has it just in case. Omar thinks that she just wants to look cool carrying around a sort-of weapon everywhere. In any case, he thinks she looks cool with it.
The arrows were slightly more tricky. Omar had a SNERF set of bow, arrows and target at his house, which required sneaking in and out of his house without his older sister catching him. Maya offered to knock her out if needed. Omar declined her offer, and got in and out of the house with everything just fine. He wishes he had better supplies than a crummy archery kit he was gifted for his ninth birthday, but he'll make do with what he has. If the sport gains popularity (and it will ), then he’ll switch over to a real wood bow and flint arrows, but plastic and foam work fine for now.
The target is set up as the shortstop. Maya says that’s where all of her hits go (“Straight to the shortstop,” she would complain after practice. “I swear I’m not aiming for her.”) so it should be the most optimal place to get a bullseye.
“There are no balls in this,” Maya realized as they were planning the game. “Why are we calling it basebatarrowtargetball ?”
“It sounds weird otherwise,” Omar replied. “Who would want to play basebatarrowtarget?”
To play basebatarrowtargetball, the archer pitches the arrow to the batter, who hits it into the shortstop-slash-target. Whichever team gets a bullseye first wins.
“But it’s just us,” Omar said. “And we need an archer and a batter for a team, so who’s on the other team?”
“You think the other kids won’t want to play this when they see us?” Maya scoffed, assured.
So now, they are one hit into the bullseye away from winning the first ever game of basebatarrowtargetball, and gaining the admiration of every kid in their neighborhood.
Omar takes a deep breath and lets the arrow go.
A moment later, Maya swings her bat—
“Aah!”
—And instead of hearing the sweet sound of plastic-on-more-plastic flying in the direction of the target, Omar hears Maya yelp.
“OhmygoshMayaareyouokay?!” He cries as he runs over to her.
“Yeah, yeah,” she says. She’s still standing, still in one piece. “Just got caught off-guard.”
“I’m so sorry. I—“ He covers his mouth. “I swear I’m not laughing at you, I’m just—“
“You should be sorry,” she says, and pulls the suction cup off of her forehead with a loud pop! “Your aim is terrible.”

GUYS. I have come up with the best most detailed pitch for a CHB theme park... hear me out.
the rides...
Soarin' over CHB: like the big HP ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll fly through scenes that depict CHB, CJ, Manhattan, Greece, Rome, etc. and it'll show various significant places in the books.
Pegasus Rides: much like the hippogriff ride from Universal Studios, but like,, longer and more fun.
Tunnel of Love: Water ride just like in the books/show, and similar to Pirates at Disneyland. Big drop, Splash Mountain style.
Sea of Monsters: If you've ever been on Grizzly River Run at Disneyland, it's like that. It's super fun, and you will get wet.
Chariot Races: Something like Autopia at Disneyland but also much much cooler.
Apollo's Archery Practice: much like the web slingers ride or the toy story ride at Disneyland, it's an interactive ride where you like press buttons to shoot arrows at VR monsters and targets. Lester may or may not be involved somehow.
Hippocampus tours: kind of like Jungle Cruise at Disneyland except with Hippocampi and it's much cooler. Less terrible jokes and more Percy-esque sarcasm from the tour guide.
Medusa's Lair: a fast-paced adventure-style roller coaster themed after snakes and stone statues.
The 600th Floor: big ferris wheel that lights up blue at night and always has the pjo soundtrack playing in the cars. Some of the cars swing, some don't.
other stuff...
Every night there's fireworks over a lake in the park which is really more of a pond but it would have canoes and fake monsters in the water and it's safely blocked off so no one can fall in
merchandise would include: chb and cj t-shirts, spqr temporary tattoos, chb necklaces (they come out with a new limited edition bead every year), plastic swords and knives, solid foam armor, etc.
restaurants and eats in the park would include: monster donut, tyson's bakery (they sell blue cookies and blue chocolate brick cupcakes), sweet on america candy store, "the dining pavilion" which is a cafe where you can get all sorts of stuff and it has a big covered outdoor seating area with tables designed after different gods, fadlan's felafel, and all sorts of little food trucks named after different gods and monsters and characters
there's professional cosplayers in character as different riordanverse characters (like the actors at disney)
other workers such as ride operators and vendors all wear either chb or cj t-shirts and armor or dress as different monsters or gods
TELL ME IT WOULDN'T BE THE COOLEST THING EVER. GO ON, TELL ME.

Archery bag target rebuild
Like many archers I have used bag targets at home to practicing my shooting and I have a a couple of these which have definitely seen better days. One such is an old target bag that had been stored behind my shed for a couple of years since I had replaced it with a layered foam target. When I did retrieve it I realised how holey it really was. For this reason I decided it was about time to give…

From Practice to Performance: Perfecting Your Shot on 3D Targets
Tumblr media
Shooting at 3D targets adds a whole new level of realism and challenge to archery practice. Familiarize yourself with the anatomy of the animal you are shooting at. Study the vital organs and aim for the specific target areas on the 3D targets. This understanding will help you make more accurate shots during competitions or hunting scenarios. Unlike traditional paper targets, it offers various angles and positions. Practice adjusting your aim based on the distance, angle, and position of the target. This will help you develop the ability to adapt and make accurate shots in different scenarios. Accuracy and shot placement are crucial for ethical hunting and scoring well in competitions. Concentrate on consistently hitting the vitals or scoring zones. Analyze your shots and make the necessary adjustments to improve your accuracy. Set up scenarios that closely resemble real hunting situations or competition scenarios. Incorporate obstacles, different shooting positions, and varying distances to simulate realistic conditions. This practice will help you build confidence and improve your ability to perform under pressure.
How do you score a 3D target?
Scoring a 3D target involves assigning points based on the accuracy and placement of your arrows in different scoring zones of the target. The scoring system may vary depending on the type of competition or organization. Here are the general steps for scoring a 3D target:
Understand the Scoring Zones: Familiarize yourself with the scoring zones on the 3D target. These zones are usually marked with different colors or numbers, indicating the point values assigned to each zone. Typically, the vital areas or higher-difficulty spots carry higher point values.
Determine the Arrow Placement: Examine the position of your arrow on the 3D target and identify which scoring zone it falls into. This can be determined by observing which part of the target your arrow is touching or passing through.
Assign Point Values: Once you have identified the scoring zone, assign the corresponding point value to your arrow based on the target's scoring system. The point values are usually provided in the competition rules or guidelines.
Keep Track of Points: Record the points earned for each arrow on a scorecard or by marking it directly on the target face. Add up the points for all arrows shot during the round or course.
Calculate the Total Score: Sum up the points earned from all the arrows to calculate your total score for the round or course.
How can I improve my archery score?
Consistent Practice: Regular and focused practice is essential for improving your archery 3D targets. Set aside dedicated practice sessions and maintain a consistent training schedule. The more you practice, the better you will become at shooting accurately and consistently.
Proper Form and Technique: Pay attention to your form and technique. Work on developing a stable stance, proper hand placement, a smooth release, and consistent follow-through. Seek guidance from a qualified coach or instructor who can help you refine your technique and correct any errors.
Mental Focus and Visualization: Develop mental focus and concentration skills to stay calm and composed during your shots. Practice visualization techniques where you imagine yourself executing the perfect shot. Visualize the target, your form, and the release, creating a mental image of success.
Strength and Conditioning: Improve your physical fitness and strength, as they play a significant role in archery performance. Incorporate exercises that target your core, back, and shoulder muscles to enhance stability and build strength. Consult with a fitness professional to develop a training program tailored to archery.
Target Variety: Practice shooting at different target distances and sizes. This helps you develop adaptability and accuracy. Start with closer distances and gradually increase the distance as your skill improves. Shooting at various target types, such as 3D targets or different face sizes, also improves your aim and judgment.
Analyze Your Shots: After each shot, analyze your performance. Pay attention to the arrow's placement on the target, form inconsistencies, or any recurring mistakes. Keep a record of your scores and shot patterns to identify areas for improvement. By understanding your weaknesses, you can focus on specific aspects of your technique to enhance your score.
Seek Professional Guidance: Consider seeking guidance from an experienced archery coach or instructor. They can provide personalized feedback, identify areas for improvement, and offer tailored training programs. Their expertise can help you make significant progress and refine your skills.
What are the three skills in archery?
Proper Form and Technique: Developing and maintaining proper form and technique is essential for consistent and accurate shooting. This includes aspects such as a stable stance, correct hand placement on the bow, a smooth and controlled release, and a consistent follow-through. Mastering these technical aspects allows for improved control over the bow and arrow, resulting in more accurate shots.
Mental Focus and Concentration: Archery requires a high level of mental focus and concentration. The ability to block out distractions, maintain focus on the target, and execute shots with precision is crucial. Developing mental discipline, practicing mindfulness techniques, and employing visualization exercises can enhance your mental focus, enabling you to perform consistently under pressure.
Aiming and Sight Alignment: Aiming is a fundamental skill in archery that involves aligning the bow sight or aiming reference with the target. It requires a combination of visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and proprioception (body awareness). Learning to align the sight properly and consistently, along with practicing the release and follow-through, contributes to accurate shooting.
What is the perfect archery technique?
Stance
Nocking and gripping the bow
Drawing the Bow
Anchor Point
Aiming
Release and Follow-Through
Mental focus and visualization

12. Luv & Bertie's Enhanced Elixirs: Another beverage location in the vein of the Potion Hut, this one referencing the potion-making couple from Skyward Sword.
Miscellaneous
The Skyward Realm has no Spirit Train station of its own, but is served by the one for Zora's Domain (marked but not labeled on this map). The train route does pass through a tunnel under the Realm, as shown by the dotted line.

I think it's time to get a new foam block for my archery target. This one almost punched all the way through when it hit a soft spot - not only terrible for the fletching but kind of dangerous too because it could go anywhere when it comes out. It's the one with the green nock (nine-point ring) in the second picture, so you can see how close it was.

Accidental Archery & Attempted Assassination
Last night I dreamt that me and some of my friends were doing archery as a Physical Education (PE) module. We were supposed to shoot at each other with foam (and paint) tipped arrows, so the paint would leave splotches on your opponent’s clothes. If you managed to hit them in more ‘vital’ areas you would have a higher score. It was like.....moving target practice I guess.
I was aiming at my friend, AN, and then just as I let fly, the foam tip fell off my arrow, and it pierced her in the chest, just an inch away from the heart. I was horrified and quickly ran to her aid, but she seemed collected (if in pain), and told me to get her phone to take a photo, because “this looks so badass”. Soon, actual medics arrived on the scene, removed the arrow, and bandaged her up, pronouncing her in no danger of death or permanent damage, so, whew, crisis averted. Then she said it was payback time, and pulled out a shotgun from I-don’t-even-know-where, and shot me point-blank in the shoulder.
I was highly annoyed, because - alright, fine, I deserve the pain, I guess, but why a gun?! Bullets don’t stick out imposingly like arrows do and I can’t have a cool photo-op! AN smugly informed me that 1) I had just shot her in the pectoral, how was she supposed to pull a bow, 2) she was more accurate with a gun anyway, and 3) if I got to have a cool photo-op it wouldn’t count as revenge. Alright, fair, I guess. Luckily the medics hadn’t packed up and left yet so I also was able to get my shoulder fixed and then AN and I grudgingly made up and went to find the rest of our art friends.
We met up with the High School Art Gang in a sort of....strange, magical-ish supermarket. It had no prices on any of the foodstuffs and they weren’t arranged in any sort of logical order, it was kind of like a thrift store, but for food. You just had to rummage and find whatever. G2 bought shrimp dumplings that had tiny hidden treasures in them, O bought a Magic Abalone that had been Marinated In A Special Sauce for 50 years, and I bought 2 litres of lychee-flavoured soda. After that we all went to the movies.
I don’t remember what show we were supposed to be watching, but it didn’t matter anyway, because before the show started I saw RK and her husband J walk in and sit near the front (we were sitting near the back). I didn’t really care, because I’m not close to RK anymore and I never liked J, but I was scrolling on my phone, as I do before movies, and Chrome suddenly suggested a whole host of articles whose content I will not comment on (because I don’t want to be sued for slander, even if I disclaim that all this is just a product of my crazy subconscious and bears no relation to real life), but they made me very certain that J needed to be killed. So I pulled out my bow and arrows (which, again, where on earth was I keeping them??) and this time very deliberately shot him, multiple times, trying to make sure I ruptured as many major organs as I could.
