Sending in this ask to say !! I would LOVE to read a ramble about the Polyverse plot and I am prompting you to use this ask to ramble /nf

FNF Polyverse plot is very convoluted because as I've said before. It's an RP run by like 7-8 people and we don't stop eachother from indulging. But I suppose I can explain it >>;

Ramble under the cut!

Our story begins YEARS before the actual events of FNF take place. On a computer owned by a really talented coder we named Admin for short. Admin is really good at what they do- they even made their own firewall.

What they didn't realize was the firewall was so well made it was actually Sentient.

Admin for unknown reasons, abandoned their dream of being a coder for a really long time, leaving their sentient firewall all on its own, and it gets really really lonely- deciding to act on its own according. It catches a virus- but instead of getting rid of it, it let's the virus stay- and eventually through contact to the firewall, the virus also gains sentience.

These two are Chaos and Order. The Virus and The Firewall.

Together, the two of them used the code leftover on the computer to make their OWN world. A game world. Their own personal Earth. On this Earth, they made a race of beings called The Ancients who had the ability to change their appearance by will alone. They were shape shifters! And for a awhile things were great.

Until The Ancient Civil War.

Half of The Ancients so closely followed Order's teachings of law and right and wrong that they thought the whole of earth should value Order more, the other half saw Chaos' teachings of self control and freedom as more important, and when their wills so strongly aligned, they would shift to look like Angel and Demons respectively.

Despite Chaos and Orders pleas, Angels and Demons fought long and hard- they killed eachother- destroyed the earth in the process. Till eventually the sides realized they were at a stalemate. Angels and Demons chose to flee- with EVERY Angel fleeing to a plane above Earth they created called Heaven and with MOST of the Demons fleeing to a plane far below it, called Hell.

The Ancient Civil War was put on hold- and while the two sides were away, Chaos and Order began to put earth back together. This time with more species and varying beliefs. Humans- robots- ectect. The demons were still there because of their whole "freewill" thing but it wasn't an issue without The Angels.

This is obviously where a lot of the plot splits off, as with more creations and the earth fully healed up like this, it's obviously where different arcs come into play with the other people RPing. However my arc was BFs.

The Angel's were PISSED that the demons were still occupying earth. They felt as though the stalemate wasn't really a stalemate and vowed to destroy them all- however how to do that? How to break a stalemate with a creature that's biologicaly as strong as you? New weapons.

So a good half of the angels gave up their form to create this giant biblically accurate angel toothpaste lookin ass glob of power named The Collective - in order to CONDENSE huge peices of their code to make more powerful bio weapons.

The first three failed as you might have guessed- the 5th was SO perfect, their PERFECT Hero, that they stuffed the 4th one that was being made along side him into a robot body to go down to earth with him.

This as might have guessed, was BF. or Keith as we call him.

Keith is the Angel's perfect angelic bio weapon, destined to be sent to earth to grow up and then slaughter everyone on earth the Angel's deem unworthy to be there.

But while Miku is off getting money to keep the two of them fed and happy as her programming is designed to do- Bf falls in love. With a lot of people. A Demon girl named Lucy, Aka Gf, who the collective would obviously not approve of as a demon, A flawed murderous man by the name of Pico, who's acts of violence outweigh many of his good deeds, and a Ghost/Demon hybrid named Eric who had been stuck in a video game for so long he honestly is an abomination.

But BF LOVED them. For their flaws. For their personality. Every part of them was something he cherished. So when Miku brought him to The Collective to explain his purpose, he turned them down. Refusing to be Their Hero. Insisting that Demons and Angels didn't have to fight like this.

But The Collective had been stuck together for so long that it corrupted them- they had no room to doubt their choices and ended up chasing BF and his partners out of heaven in this epic violent chase sequence- where it then tripped, and fell off the side of the plane. Falling deep into the code when Chaos and Order dismantled it.

Leaving the 4 Poly pals to love eachother on Earth among the other angels and demons who changed their minds.

All of that though is BFs arc! There's a few other arcs like how Skid and his dad The Eyes of The Universe needed to make up in order to stop Eyes from dismantling the whole code of the game- which is how we have so many duplicate modes characters like the remixs and aus, because Polyverse is technically filled with a bunch of Holes from The Eyes. And the Eddsworld arc where BF helped Tord reconnect with his friends. The Omori arcs where he got new siblings who adopted him from the crew of FNF characters. Ectect.

We did a lot. We're technically still doing things. That's how Silly Billy/Yourself was added recently. Every new mod is a new addition to Polyverse! ^^

Just spitballing but here's how I think the FNF mod gang would be affected by the Corruption:

Tricky: Supposedly he's immune because of how insanely powerful he is. So it wouldn't even touch him since "CAN'T CORRUPT CLOWN" (unless it somehow infiltrated his improbability drive).

Garcello: Tbh he'd feel hopeless like "what's the point", singing way fewer notes in Nerves (and still dying afterwards). But his ghost gets corrupted in an effort to force it back into his body. Though he manages to resist and fades away (with a frown instead of a smile).

Hex: Pulls a Papyrus, believing Corrupt!BF is still his friend and trying to reach through to him. But the corruption manifests itself as a virus that infects him. Corrupt!BF's lack of note inputs (done on purpose) allows the virus to destroy Hex's security systems.

Zardy: At first offers Corrupt!BF a place in his maze bc of his scariness, but when he sees he's truly a threat to his precious crops--he gets serious. The corn and pumpkins around him all wither/rot away, making him nervous.

Whitty: Recognizes BF and feels guilty for not apologizing to him for Ballistics' events. But he tries getting him to remember who he was, though the corruption makes Whitty a lot weaker (yet still a difficult and angry opponent).

Starecrown: Like Tricky, he's immune. But he sees Corrupt!BF as an "impostor" and wants him to prove that he's the real BF. Afterwards, Stare creates his own corrupted form to be "equal" with his idol (he's not afraid or concerned at all, it's merely fascination).

Sarvente: Immediate disgust. She wants Corrupt!BF and Corrupt!GF out of her church instantly, though by Worship she realizes she's been "tainted" and Ruv comes to her aid. But throughout his song the corruption gets to him. Finally, Sarvente manages to drive out the two in her final song, undoing Ruv's corruption.

I present to you my crappy/probably unoriginal Sonic.exe fc?? au?? i’m honestly not sure of what people call these lmao

He’s a defective virus that can shapeshift into any Sonic model from the games, the thing is that he does this through glitching which causes him pain so he can’t keep a form for too long.

His standard form is some sort of balance that’s the least painful, though sometimes he will glitch unvoluntarily.

A few things that can call him out while pretending to be Sonic are the line pupils, floaty nose, the off colors and the ocassional glitch.

Instead of doing something like leaking your ip he simply likes messing with your computer and be a problem. Un-organizes your files, leaves pngs on the desktop calling you dumbass made with ms paint, interrupts you while playing some videogame, etc. Extras/original crappy drawings of him under the cut if you're interested lma

Hi original concept wasn't too different honestly, though it was more thought about like a FNF mod. Glitchy was a defective virus that was supposed to steal files/info from people's computers and ended up sucking up files from the computer of a guy with romhacks for various sonic games, this caused him to overload and turn into the monstrosity you see before you. In this FNF mod mindset he'd ask BF to overload him with note inputs so he'd finally collapse. I don't think this is how viruses work??? plus it was a little too dark/dumb so, yeah.

FNF Zombie Apocalypse AU! (zombapocau for short)

This is the Church Group, located in Sarv's church. Couple of notes:

- Takes place BEFORE what would be the start of the game. BF and GF had only just met and did not start dating before shit went down. DD&MM took GF and YEETED themselves to safety early on.

- Pico and BF had been surviving together, but Pico sacrificed himself to save BF and was bitten. Rather than turn, Pico took matters into his own hands. BF keeps his guns as a reminder and promise to stay alive.

- Hex turned himself into a medical bot, as well as communications hub. Sarv helps with medical needs as well as being the main defense for the church base.

- Whitty, BF and Ruv are supply runners; going out into the city to scavenge what they can. Whitty uses himself as a weapon against large hordes.

- Whitty and Sarv are immune to the zombie virus/bacteria/plague/whatever, due to their inhuman natures, but BF and Ruv are not.

My Senpai origin ideas/headcanons part one

I’m just dumping ideas here; I don’t know if they’re any good but I just want to get them out there. A numbered list just because. This is long, sorry!

1: Senpai used to be an ordinary boy who looked similar to his human form from Week 6. He used to be friends with Girlfriend, and the two of them used to spend a lot of time playing video games together, particularly a certain dating simulator on the PS1; it was a bootleg game with terrible dialogue and the mistranslation of “Hating Simulator,” which they both thought was hilarious. Senpai’s personality was similar to the two human personalities that he shows in the game, but they were more well-integrated together. He was an unholy mix of jerkish and angelic, but never an extreme of either.

2: Mom and Dad used to like and/or tolerate him when they thought he was merely friends with Girlfriend, but the moment they got an inkling that Senpai might have the tiniest crush on GF, they freaked out. There’s no way on earth that their baby girl is EVER leaving them! They thought that yeeting him into the game he spent so much time playing with GF would be poetic justice, and thus, did just that.

3: Being compressed into 32 bits was hard on Senpai, particularly on his personality. His personality was compressed into the two wildly differing personalities that we see in the game in order to save space (only one side would ever be loaded at once, and that’s why the screen goes black for a moment when he switches). His angry/jerkish personality also takes significantly more processing power to use, which is why the happier side is the default.

4: The demon inside him is a virus/glitch/something similar that was already present inside the game, but got integrated into Senpai when he was put inside the game. It has access to all of his memories, including the ones Senpai can’t remember. It has access to all of his feelings too, and thus sort of IS him, but also just wants to use him for its own purposes (like getting out of the Hating Simulator game and taking over FNF itself). 

5: Senpai is vaguely aware of the demon and of his past life, but kind of thinks that it’s his imagination talking to him, or intrusive thoughts. His life as the academy’s darling is easy and he should be happy, but somehow, despite his smiling facade, he’s always vaguely terrified, feeling like the world feels sort of fake, and that something bad might happen to him if he doesn’t do exactly what he’s “programmed” to do. 

6: GF could never bring herself to play the game again after Senpai got put inside of it, but one day, when her parents weren’t home, Boyfriend was digging around in her basement and found the PS1 with the Hating Simulator disc still inside. He also thought the name was hilarious, and thought it would be fun to play, and started the game before she could tell him not to.

7: I kind of imagine that Senpai’s the kind of guy who flirts with everyone but is terrified by and/or indifferent to romance; if he did actually have a crush on GF like her parents thought he did, it was very suppressed because ew romance, so I don’t think that he’d try to compete with BF after getting out of the game; his “steal your girl” schtick in the game was a mix of him fulfilling his prescribed role in the game and his memories of his past life.

8: I like to think that BF and GF rescue him after defeating the demon and get him out of the game somehow, and the three of them become friends eventually, although it takes awhile. Senpai never gets his original personality totally back, and tends to switch between the two extremes still, but he stops losing his temper so dramatically now that there’s not a demon inside him struggling to get out anymore.

Is Silly Billy (and I guess pretty much any significant fnf mod charatcer of your choice) in the vmix AU? And if so, will the be infected or survivor?

Fnf Vmix is based on the concept that fnf is just a game, with the virus being a corruptive file VIRUS like a computer virus: not a disease.

In this way, any mod (like Yourself, Garcello, Midnight Masses, ectectect) that has been installed in this version of fnf can fall victim to the virus. Because it's all just code. A game.

As for the second question, as much as I know people won't like it, I've decided vmix will NOT have a happy ending meaning...well yeah. They're all gonna get infected.

When I say the terms "infected" or "survivor" I do not mean that anyone will survive. I mean that some of them survived LONGER then others. Bf, Gf, Pico, Senpai, they became infected immediately. DD, MM, TankMan, Skid and Pump, they survive longer.

But that's about it.

Into, Across and Beyond!: Changes from the Universal Resets

WARNING!: Unmarked spoilers for Mario's Madness and Undertale Yellow below.

As discussed in prior posts, two whole universes ended up being reset via in-universe circumstances, akin to the Super Genesis Wave. There are several changes that happened between the two universes, but I'll go into detail about them here.

Dimension FNF-2020 (Pre-Reset)

Boyfriend and Girlfriend met through unknown circumstances and quickly fell in love.

Due to unfaltering bravery, BF breezed through many challenges life threw at him.

Boyfriend's only family member is Ritz the Rat, who he adopted, while Girlfriend only had her parents.

Pico stopped the school shooting, but many lives were lost.

Boyfriend often challenged those who weren't in the mood for it.

The Vs. Sonic.exe and Mario's Madness events happened separately.

During the Corruption, Boyfriend went plain and simple over the course of 2 days to get rid of it after breaking free.

Aside from Hex, Carol and Sunday, BF didn't fully bond with all the mod rivals he met along the way.

The breaking point came when SHM assimilated Girlfriend, driving BF into a mix of heartbreak and fury in his final moments, before he ended up dying.

Pico was the sole survivor of the Mario's Madness events, and unwittingly caused the reset when stumbling across an entity resembling Bowser.

Dimension FNF-NEW-2023 (Post-Reset)

Benjamin and Grace met at high school and became close friends. Love blossomed as they grew closer to one another.

Benjamin clearly isn't as brave as Boyfriend was, but he still did his best to tackle the challenges life threw at him.

Benjamin and Grace's families are bigger, including parents, siblings (including their younger "genderswap" counterparts, Kaity and Chris) and cousins.

Pico, due to retaining his memories post-reset, managed to stop the school shooting quicker by going straight for Cassandra, saving many more lives than he would've otherwise.

Benjamin is fully considerate about who he faced, and if they didn't want to do it, there's no hard feelings or force on the guy's part.

Mario's Madness and Vs. Sonic.exe happened together in the same cartridge, and this time, Benjamin came out alive, even giving M a second chance as his variant of Cappy.

The Corruption lasted at least two weeks, with Benjamin and the freed people giving it their all to get rid of it.

Benjamin gained many friends out of those he was able to get friendly singing competitions out of.

In this universe, Updike (like in VS Whitty Fire Fight) realised he wasn't capable of his job and shut down the Greater Good after encouragement from Whitty to have a second chance.

Benjamin, after More than One Universe, got Soft Boyfriend/Benjamin adopted into his family, and even got to make new friends out of the interdimensional BFs and GFs.

Dimension EV-2019 (Pre-Reset)

A demonic thing known as the Puhoi Curse was one of the driving forces of events, and doomed the young Audrey after he was unwillingly corrupted by it. It's also what forced Bently into a new life.

In the original Errorverse, Dr. Eggman, after enough time, redeemed himself and became Mr. Tinker.

Many More Heroes doesn't happen pre-reset.

Various failed timelines occurred, though many of their denizens were able to get safety through the Omega Timeline/OMEGA Universe.

Seak was outright insane to the end and did not get a happy ending, only earning the ire of his big brother, Teak.

Clover (from UT Yellow) remains deceased after the events of that game.

During one event, Amber Lightvale was still alive and well, and thanks to a still-alive Bete Noire messing with a deadly virus, she caused the two to split bodies. (Yes, both Underverse and Glitchtale occurred in the Errorverse.)

Through a lead-up in harsh circumstances, Brian, Calteron's guardian, was ultimately killed trying to stop Puhoi's tyranny.

A strange galaxy-like energy caused the big reset to happen.

Dimension EV-2019 (Post-Reset)

The Puhoi Curse never occurred, so Audrey is able to co-exist with other cast members without its threat holding over him.

Post-reset, Dr. Eggman and Mr. Tinker were split into separate people, the doctor even bringing in his own version of the SSSSS Squad to fight EV!Sonic with. No points for guessing where that got him.

Evo, Nitro's younger brother, and Sid Chang (who's friends with the brothers and their sisters alongside Lincoln, Clyde and Ronnie-Anne) both started up their own science group that Seak, who is much more stable and adorable, regularly attends as a way to make friends.

Post-reset, due to EV!Sonic's meeting with Tekno, Many More Heroes and the other IAB! stories after More than One Universe are able to properly occur, thanks to the Quill Society being formed from their bonds.

The failed timelines still happened, but thankfully, the OMEGA Universe was still open for them as per normal.

Post-reset, because Clover willingly gave their soul for the underground, they were unconscious until Frisk came back to return their soul after permanently shattering the barrier. As such, they now enjoy life on the surface with other monsters, including Martlet.

In the "rewrite" universe post-reset, while Bete Noire is reincarnated after Glitchtale, she isn't in control anymore, as Amber now has host of her body, complete with a more cute version of Akumu. In Amber's case, what you see on the outside is what you get.

Brian is alive and well post-reset, still taking his job as guardian with utmost pride.

Since they met the canon Sonic (or Sonic Prime/Prime Sonic, whichever you wanna call him), Exester and Nameless recall a time when Sonic.EXEs attacked the Prime dimension, though haven't really elaborated on it. Ask @mcgamejolter if you wish to know more.

For the two resets, those that fully recall all of the pre-reset events are Pico, Nitro, Amelia, Reemah and Enzo (close friends of Brian), EV!Sonic, EV!Tails, EV!Knuckles, EV!Amy, Teak, Daveline (Teak's GF) and Brian himself, all thanks to an orb holding those old memories. Said orb shattered after the memories were restored.

In addition, anyone in the Blur Gang, alongside those holding Time Stones, completely recall all of what occurred. As such, there's no confusion on their ends about what happened.

Explaination: so I wanted to make a skin mod for the lullaby mod where my design for coroika B-sailor and coroika W-sailor are over lullaby GF (only for safety lullaby and left unchecked) but I wasn't able to find the Lullaby V2 mod on gamebanana and I'm honestly too much of a coward to try mediafire becuase I'm afraid it may put a virus on my computer (actually, when I first opened the mod download on the site, it immediately started downloading the file and I was so scared I tried to cancel the download, I was able successful cancel it btw). So since I can't download the mod I wasn't able to get GF's sprite sheet so I instead decided to use the one from the wiki. I was then gonna post the sprite sheet on here and add a set of instructions on how to add it into the game. But I thought, what if this doesn't work? So I instead decided to do a test with the original game. As shown in the image, I used BF's Christmas sprite sheet and edited golden/yellow pupils into them. Why did I use the Christmas variant and not the original? Because I didn't want to bother with the skeleton. I will try and add this into the game.
