If so, that means her backstory of being born into her royal family wouldn't make sense, because '06 happens before the Rush games. Was she reborn into that dimension, with fleeting memories of Crisis City that she remembers in Generations? Is the Blaze from '06 a completely different Blaze?”

IAN FLYNN: I can’t get too much into it, ‘cause this is kind of internal stuff that has not been clarified publicly, but Blaze— Sonic Rush comes first, the Blaze of ‘06 is the Blaze of Rush, and she doesn’t die. She turns into Burning Blaze, and warps back to her own dimension and forgets the events of ‘06. KYLE: Oh, good. I wish we could all forget the events of ‘06. In a better, alternate universe, Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat (from Phineas and Ferb) has Perry getting actually speaking lines (such as telling Doof to get therapy to which Doof says "I liked it better when I couldn't understand you.") meanwhile, Candace, in Perry's body is trying to convey to PnF that she's Candace (such as trying to drag them into her room which they immediately pick her up and tell her Candace doesn't like Perry in her room)

The episode gets resolved by Perry returning and realizing that if he's in Candace's body, she must be in his, explaining such to PnF and having the last line of the episode be Perry as Candace saying"I really love you guys"

#hate the trope where character switch bodies and suddenly the voice chords go with them #like i know its so we the audience can better tell the difference but they could do an internal dialogue #which would also heighten the joke because we get Candace making a big plan with her voice in Perry's head #and then smash cut to Perry in Doof's trap with HIS internal monologue which is literally just the normal fucking noises he makes #phineas and ferb #candace flynn #perry the platypus #really a rare missed opportunity imo #like i know the show is known for comedy its a comedy show #but it's also been emotional from time to time and that could've been one of them #and if you have to end on a joke have Buford comment on no one asking Perry where he goes everyday #and have him (now back in his body) make the usual noise he makes
