Nai looked up when he heard a sound, something coming. Nervously, he looked over and spotted the stranger. His instinct told him to run, Rem’s voice whispering in the back of his head that he had to be careful right now. Cautious, but curious, he let her approach.
“...” He shook his head, “No..I’m just...” he glanced around at the sand around him, frowning. “I’m looking for my brother. And...And Rem.”

@flutterfae-rp for Rook
Of all the ways and reasons to end up injured on Gunsmoke, this was probably the best one. A slaver crew had rolled into town and started their usual shit and there hadn’t been enough well-armed people to chase them off. It might have been a complete disaster if Zer0 hadn’t been traveling nearby and caught the distress call they’d managed to send.
As it was, there had been a few deaths and a few injuries, not counting the slavers. Zer0 had been thorough in that regard. Very thorough. It didn’t keep them from getting themself hurt, especially not when one of the slavers had headed right for a group of kids they’d intended to take. Zer0 had been quick to put themself in the way and had paid for it with a bullet in the side and a badly dislocated knee among their other cuts and bruises and general disarray. Probably a concussion too if they had to guess, mostly based on the way their sense of balance went entirely out the window once the adrenaline from the fight wore off. They couldn’t quite shake off the helpful hands of one of the residents who hauled them up and helped them toward the resident doctor’s clinic.
Not that they’d stay to let someone treat them, not when Gunsmoke was even more suspicious then Pandora. When they’d been chased out of smaller towns just for looking odd enough that they might possibly be a bandit, they weren’t going to risk anyone seeing what they actually were. Still, they let themself be hauled inside, figuring they could rest a short bit and reset their knee before vanishing and finding a safer place to tend to themself.
There’s a female voice (they think, its fuzzy) at the door and they’re handed off, escorted further inside before Zer0 can quite consider that they might have been hit harder then they thought if they’re still not trying to leave. The world is more then a little bit swimmy.

"You're gonna be fine, kid. More than fine even." The stranger murmured quietly, a pair of arms suddenly wrapping themselves around Arnie as the mystery man hoisted her up into his grasp. "Let's get you into some shade where it's safer." He would at least let her doze off again as he carried her away from the rock. When she came to she would find herself lying atop a bed, light filtering in through the blinds. A wet towel lay across her forehead, the sounds of... general living could be heard through the walls, kids mostly. A radio was besides her bed on an old, well-worn looking nightstand. "-all we can do is simply pray, pray for God to send the Angel of Salvation our way. To free us from this. We praise the Angel. We beg for the Angel's mercy. We are the Angel's eyes and ears, we must give-" The radio was turned off, the stranger sitting on a chair besides Arnie's bed stirring as he shut it off. "Welcome back to the land of the living, sleepyhead. My program didn't wake you up, did it?" His features shifted to a frown there as he glanced down to the floor, falling silent for a moment before piping up again. "You hungry? Should still be some food left from dinner."

(ó﹏ò。): Are there any foods that make their stomach upset?
Physical Reactions
Probably not, maybe unless it's something legit spoiled. They can probably eat just about anything that's actually digestible. Like not bones, plastic, metal, that kind of thing. But anything a bug can eat they can digest without problem!
And they will. They will eat just about anything they can get their hands on.

betrayal sentence starters
"Stop taking things so personally, kiddo, you act like this wasn't inevitable." Once he had found out just WHO this kid was, well, there really was only one course of action. He just had to lure him out first.

Fugo shot a heated glare at Mista. A glare that fizzled out as his eyes fell back to Giorno. The teen took a breath.
He *knew* that! He did! But-...
"...Giogio. I promised you, I would follow you no matter what, and I won't go back on that now. Whatever you choose, I'll follow." Fugo's expression was serious. "But we don't know enough about this place to move recklessly. Just... please. Be careful. We stand out too much around here as it is."
...And Giorno's abilities were far more noticeable in such a lifeless place.
It had been a reckless split second decision when he had turned the vehicle into a tree but, well, it was the fastest way to alert the others of his location and to stop the people that had taken him.
“I would have gone with them if I had a reliable way to stay in contact with you both or a sure fire way to get back. The tree was the quickest way to get your attention.” Giorno said as he jumped down from the tree, looking around for the men that had been with him. “Grab them.”
He gestured to the downed and stunned men, grabbing the back of one’s collar to drag off (he had to use Gold Experience’s added strength to accomplish such a task) and lead the others away from the scene. They needed to leave before the crowds grew any larger and someone stopped them.
Mista didn’t so much as bat an eye before he grabbed a couple of people himself. although he did notice it was a group of four. This did not bode well for them.

Well, that made sense. Humans were even more social then Worms in some ways and she'd want to try to find her family. That made complete sense.
"We'll keep an eye out for him. We noticed you arrive, it would be pretty hard to miss someone else doing the same." And they could decide what to do about him if he did show up. They'd have to think about that one and it would probably be up to him and how he reacted to them in the end.
Further information was nice, especially clarity on the sheer rarity of the little being they'd found. Not that it tells them much really but at least they had a name for what she was. Was it natural? Did someone make them like Conrad and his pet projects? Would she even know or answer if they asked? Later questions to deal with. Information would come, they just had to be patient.
"Ah, can you?" Zazie blinked, a little taken aback by the abrupt severing of the link between them. The smaller Worms in the room buzzed their wings anxiously while the swarm made an odd face. They weren't sure they liked that feeling. That felt oddly like getting cut off from the network might and that was one of the worst things they could possibly imagine.
"Yes..." They drew out the word and shook their head, shaking away the feeling. "Let's see if we can find what you'd need for that. You'll have to tell me, Worms don't take baths like that." They ran a hand over her hair again and slid off the bed, back to cheerful and as soft as they can manage after the odd sensation of being cut out.
"I think this is the bathroom."
"Maybe... but then I wouldn't find my Brother again either." Arnie didn't think she could, but- Well, she still wanted to at least try. "...I don't think a lot of people have seen something like me before." Arnie hummed back. "There aren't a lot of us. Only 6 in the whole universe." That was what people said at least, but the universe was a very big place. Maybe there WERE more people like her ... just out there somewhere else? Probably not though. Everyone seemed VERY sure about that number. "..." Arnie was quiet a moment as Zazie dismissed their worry. Sitting up, she pulled away from them. "I... can do more then just talk to you and the other worms." She murmured. The girl had closed herself off completely. At least for the moment. The connection severed as if it had been sliced through with a knife. "You said... there was power here, right? And water?" Arnie asked. "Do you think there's somewhere that I could take a bath?"

Gerald: “You look tired.”
Comments starters || Accepting
@flutterfae-rp : Gerald
| ⚠ | The comment got an internal 'pfft' that Morgen didn't emit out loud. Not the first time he's heard that, though not usually in a bar, right after knocking back a shot of whiskey.
The redhead turned to the speaker, brows pinched together and raised in a question. Morgen was not particularly good with small talk, but the alcohol made it easier to moved past that fact.
"Yeah? Is that a pick up line that works for you?" the words were low and rough, though not without humor, and he offered a crooked grin to show it was meant to be funny, not insulting. Morgen did look tired, pale around the eyes and lips. He looked like he should be drinking water, not whiskey, but.. When did he ever actually look after himself properly?
"Or do I look that bad?" he continued with a snort and leaned on an elbow. His hat and goggles were off, leaving his dark red hair visible. In the low light, his irises were black as night, giving him an unsettling look to most people.

Zer0 considered it a good sign that they hadn't descended straight into night terrors when they'd dozed off. Probably they hadn't managed deep enough sleep for any sort of dreams sitting here at the table like this. They sit up and are startled by the blanket sliding off their shoulders. Who put t on them they aren't sure and they're uncomfortable that they didn't notice. Too exhausted and emotionally wrung out probably.
"You will not see more, not living here on Gunsmoke. No Vaults to hunt here." At least not until they called the Vault of the Traveler back, seeing as that was how they got here in the first place. "My name is Zer0." They watched her walk past, eyeing her mechanical legs behind their visor.
"I would not say no, I have eaten nothing yet. Eggs are safe enough."

"-id, hey kid? You alive?" The low rumble of a voice coming into focus- Arnette would only start to come to with the sensation of something cool being poured on their face. Were they to open their eyes, they'd see a strange figure towering over them, wreathed in light, one of Noman's Lands' suns casting a halo around their head, cascading against warm brown hair and reflecting off of the silver. An angel? That'd be silly. "I'd recommend against taking a nap out here in the sun if I were you, doubt this rock did much." Cool metal was pressed into her hand, a flask of some kind. The figure straightened up, bandage-wrapped hands slipping into the pockets of a battered looking coat. He bore a giant cross on his back, wrapped in those same rough-spun bandages that covered at least his hands, were they all over his body or something? "You a runaway or something? Desert would've claimed you if I wasn't here." He sounded more... worried dad than someone come to hurt her at least, even if he looked a little intimidating. "...what's your name?"

"Is that you asking if I'd tell you or is that you asking me to tell you?" Zazie smirked slightly, not above making an annoying little joke even in the midst of serious times. The playful demeanor fades, however, just as fast as it came.
"I have a choice to make, Doctor Rook, a choice that's going to affect the rest of the planet in it's entirety for the rest of its existence. We Worms are the planet, as close as a living entity can be to physically being the sand, the rocks, the very wind. Every move we make must be calculated to maintain and preserve our home and thus, our life. Humans only think in the immediate, the now, what will sustain their one life or the lives of their family. They aren't willing, usually, to sacrifice themselves for the survival of the species. Or the world. Otherwise Earth wouldn't be a husk." They look up at him, expression mostly neutral but grim too. A being willing to do whatever it took to keep their species and their planet alive.
Whatever it took.
"The closer I get to humans, the harder the decision becomes. The more I learn to connect, the less likely I think it is that humans will sustain themselves without destroying all of us." They look away, staring out the window with eyes that are elsewhere, far away. "You, and to a lesser degree Rayen, want to understand as much as I do. Maybe with your knowledge there might be a chance of cooperation. But every day that goes past is more damage done that we may not be able to balance out. Sometimes we wish humans had never crashed here. We would be alone, but we didn't know what alone felt like then. We will when you're all gone."

Shitty child Jay: Holy shit. Ho-ly… shit. Is this a thing? Is this fucking real right now, or am I just hallucinating from whatever the fuck was in that skag-dog I just ate?
"..... Yeah, brat, this is all fake. You ate something spiked by bandits and are trippin' balls right now. None of this is real." That's what he'd like, anyway.

The Worm is more then happy to fly over and land on her hand, having been waiting for her to be fully conscious for days. Humans were so easy to hurt, their minds were so fragile. They hated it.
The singular Worm clings to her stubbornly regardless of how she moves, determined to stay right there on her. This one is a part of their swarm so it's a little more personally invested then the greater Hive would be.
Not even food will remove it.
Though that may speed Zazie's personal return. A little bit.
Maybe a lot.
@threadsandwings
Days... She's been out that long? Aves's expression is dropped to something uncomfortable from her resting face. She barely remembered exactly why she was out in the first place never mind how long it's been. [Days. I was out for days?] That partially explained the IV. She glanced down to where it is inserted, clear that she had intended to remove it on her own with the new lack of a bandage.
[Yeah they have a habit of that.] Aves follows the path of Rook's gaze to the side table and seeing a flying worm had never given the teen as much relief until now. The first expression change that wasn't from neutral to negative forms on her face. The corners of her lips up turn just a touch, and she leans over to get a closer look at the bug. [Zaz.] Her voice box doesn't have a tone to show the tone in her words but there is some chirping, peeping tones the come out. She holds out a hand for the worm to perch on if they desired. Aves is sure that the swarm will want to do a check up on her themselves now. All of the information she's getting from Rook is enough to keep her mind busy on the current situation. A small request to try and eat something is fair enough. She looks back up to Rook and points to her arm. [If I can take this out. I'll give eating a go.] Maybe it's a little bit of a weird thing to compromise on. Though it is the closest she could get to letting someone else have a say in it.

[EXPOSE] : (Flutterfae-RP) Johnny and Whatever version of non-Diego Dio sounds like the most fun
Bloody Meme Starter
The scent of blood filled the air and while he wasn't hungry he was curious.
DIO wasn't in any particular hurry to get to the person, either they bled out and died or they didn't. He cared not for the human's life. At least not until the scent began to remind him of something-- no, someone.
Jonathan. Jojo. His Jojo. The one he respected, the one he missed, the one that was with him forever.
His hand was up by his neck, feeling along the scar. No, impossible. This wasn't his Jonathan, this was another.
Coming across the broken and bloodied body of the not-Jonathan, DIO grinned, fangs on display. "What a nasty fight you must have been in."
