They’re both in the newest Oneshi Press comics anthology—the seventh one, if you can believe it! They’re both beautiful and filled to bursting with badassery. And I want to show them to you. I actually did leaf through both of them on camera during my last chapter-reading live-stream, so you can get in on that action at the 18:00 mark at this link riiiiight here!

Guts

I’m super-duper proud—maybe a little ridiculously proud—of “Guts,” my first one-off 8-page short comic ever! It’s a short, sweet, and ultimately dark AF tale of LGBTQ longing, kitty companionship, and magical horror that will make you squee, chuckle, and gasp in equal measures. With adorably perfect art from Diana Camero, writing by yours truly, and lettering from Cardinal Rae, I’m also really proud to say that “Guts” is an entirely female-created short comic. Go grab it in the 60-page trade paperback that is Oneshi Press Anthology #07 right now! It’ll be out in digital format later this month, and eventually “Guts” will also be available as a one-off digital comic, too.

The second eight-page installment from Tracy Queen V2 is also out in this new anthology, and, folks, it looks amazing. My favorite feminist hero kicks a totally unreasonable amount of ass in the process of rescuing several women from a horrible situation. Warlords & MC that finally snaps

Not necessarily scenarios for relationships, but I came up with a thing. Actually, those are definitely not scenarios for romantic relationships. Thanks for the suggestion @zazax42 :D

Ieyasu:

“You are weak,” Ieyasu scoffed, the way he always did. Except, you had a terrible day - your client disappeared without paying for his commission, Shogetsu barged into you and knocked you to the ground, somebody bought out the color of the embroidery thread you needed just then and so much more. In general - whatever could go wrong, indeed went wrong. You just hoped to deliver that latter and hide under the covers, but the fate was cruel - and so, you had to stumble over your feet and fall down.

You glared daggers at him.

“Sorry, I didn’t notice you instantly. For a second there, I though you were my friend’s cat, Mr. Flufferpants. He’s such a fuzzball.”

“You’re on my list.”

“Porcupines don’t usually know how to keep those, I must praise you.”

You both stood there for a second, wondering what had just happened. 

“I encourage you to continue with the act, it was most entertaining. Little mouse had bitten you quite painfully, Ieyasu ,” Mitsuhide chimed in. Only then you’ve realised he had been sitting in the corner of the room all this time.

Hideyoshi:

Although Hideyoshi was usually a lovely person to be around, his mothering nature could become overbearing at times - especially when he got involved into cleaning your sewing room. You could do nothing, but just sit calmly in the corner and smile, your lips twitching as he ignored each and every single one of your protests, too preoccupied with his scolding.

“How can you even find anything in here? Where do you keep your needles, I need to...”

“Up your ass, my lord,” you blurted out, bloodlust emanating from your body. “Right next to the thimble.”

His face immediately turned red, yet he didn’t say a word, closing and opening his mouth over and over again  - he was in a state of utter shock. 

“She’s right, lad! Get yourself a real baby to mother!” Masamune shouted from behind the closed door, causing Hideyoshi to turn around abruptly. Before he managed to open the door, the other man was long gone.

“No running in the hallways!” was all that he could come up with.

Nobunaga:

You thought you both were long past your lucky charm days, the memories still haunting you at times - because, as it turned out, being somebody’s human four-leaf clover was never a good thing. However, he just had to bring the idea back again - without asking you, as if he ever needed to do that. Moreover, the plans were already set in motion, once you realised what would be happening. Maybe, just maybe, if they had given you proper accommodations - but no, why would they, you’d return in a couple of days just either way.

You did not feel well after you came back, not in the slightest. You wanted to scream with your entire soul. Unsuspecting of that, Nobunaga asked you:

“Fireball, have you seen Mitsunari?”

“No, but let me use my lucky charm powers. You know, as I always do. I will need some blood and possibly a human sacrifice. Just to be extra sure it works. Because I totally do something and it’s not all just in your head, ” you grated through your teeth.

He did not answer you. You were never taken anywhere as his lucky charm ever again.
