So fun fact when I was a kid and I vaguely knew the premise of Avatar (the way I learnt about avatar was actually that one flash game where Aang, Toph and Katara are trapped on Zuko's ship and you have to escape before the time limit runs out. Does anyone else remember that game it was sick) but I wasn't a fan, but I knew the names of the characters. So in Polish, the word "sok" means "juice", so for a huge part of my childhood I would call Sokka "juice boy" in my head. Eventually I got into Avatar and Sokka became more then juice boy to me.

And then book 2 came around and lo and behold

I’m Feeling Blah…

Pretty sure I’ve got the flu, no surprise after having nearly 12 to 24 students in kindergarten alone out with it per day for this past week.

One of my students was out with it yesterday…I was with the child in a tight calm down room the day before, and a few more of the kids that need extra help have been close to me and gotten sick with it, so…yeah. I’m not upset, I love my kids, but it makes sense. That first child I mentioned and I have been together for 2 years now…literally in sickness and health 😂.

Btw, I just shuffled my way out of bed to beg my dad to make me soup and sit it outside my room, quarantine life here I come.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ! I’m a little late but I sadly slept through the entire New Years due to the curse (anytime i fly in a plane when I land I immediately get sick) but I’m awake now !

it’s been an entire year since the last new years ask I sent which is mind blowing! i feel as if this year has gone by rather quickly.

in any case, seeing your art has made my year better than it would’ve been without it!! I’m in love with your oc’s and storylines and STEM YURI!! I love stem in fact my sister has just graduated from a stem major!! she would take me to her classes sometimes and I’d get to see things like having to sequence/code a specific gene in a plant.. she did not figure it out but only 2 people did so alas.. I love stem and I’m curious as to what specifically her future “job” or career is? out of pure curiosity.. I’m personally interested in the chemistry part of stem (like the making of pharmaceuticals) and medicine in general.

i feel like you’re drawing things you like and that’s so great to see!! i love when artists like what they’re doing. as always your storylines and character design has helped me to better my own art and lore (don’t fret! I am not copying) and I’m hoping to start posting it once I finish all twenty character designs (it’s ruining my life)

As for Lena’s career goals, she wants to go into cancer/stem cell research! She lost her mom to breast cancer shortly after her younger brother was born, and has been raised by her single father ever since. Lena was 13 when this happened, and to cope with her grief, she focused all her energy into school. She got into a very prestigious high school and college, but after over a decade of putting her all into it, she’s now feeling extremely burnt out 💔

I’m also really happy that I’ve been drawing things for myself lately!! I think it’s the stress from college lol, I don’t have as much time or energy to worry about post interactions as much which is great!!!

But anyways, I hope you start to feel better soon :( !! Also I’d absolutely LOVE to see and hear abt ur characters, you definitely gotta show em to me when u finish!!!

new year new me. i’m finally living on my own again. i’m sleeping in my condo for the first time!!! I’m so fucking happy!!!!

i’ve cried several times today: both because I was sad (mostly for leaving my mom’s dogs- especially angus, who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. Not to mention Oliver, who’s been especially sad bc of Siri’s passing.) and for happiness (I’m a first time homebuyer! this is the first place I’ve ever owned!! my finances are in the red but I’m going to figure it out!!!).

Either way, I’m so excited to finally be on my own again. I’m a different person when I don’t live with my mother.

My tipsy mother said I have to drink the champagne she bought me on the floor. like she did when she bought her house, and like mothers before me. AND I DID. on the floor of my bedroom- and my cat got up to butt his head into the back off mine when he heard my voice <3

honestly i think he’s one of, if not the most suited sugu to tending to you when you’re sick :(( he’s just. perfect. makes you stay over at his house even if you sleepily murmur that you don’t wanna bother him, makes you herbal remedies and lots of tea (ofc also gives you painkillers), cooks you theee tastiest soup ever…. he’s the most caretaker bf you will ever have. sits by your bedside even when you’re sleeping and just watches over you, pets your hair and croons when you make a pained little noise…….

he loves you. dilfguru is so chill that you could honestly sneeze and snot all over him and he would simply not bat an eye…. you’re so precious in his eyes. his sick little baby. he’s gonna pamper you so hard until you get better, you just need to stay in bed and call for him whenever you want anything <33
