The Victorian Corridor in the David Welch Winter Gardens in Duthie Park, Aberdeen, was filled with colour provided by a wide range of Cyclamen persicum cultivars. These half-hardy tuberous perennials have dark green leaves with silver markings and a range of flower colours. The plants have been grown from seed.

The Vietnamese violet 🌸, Primulina tamiana (formerly Chirita) is a diminutive plant in the gesneriaceae family. It is a cousin to the African violet and prefers the same conditions- bright light ☀️, warmth🌡, and even moisture 💧. This wee plant, with its flowers, is never more than 3" high. Mine is in a large terrarium with a fluorescent light above it and is in bloom 🌸 almost continually. It would also do that on a windowsill in the correct light. Primulinas are easy beautiful plants and I see you can get this one @logeesplants. The flowering houseplant nursery Dibleys put on a stunning display of Streptocarpus (Cape primrose) cultivars at the Royal Horticultural Society Hampton Court Flower Show. Plants need a light position but too much sun burns the leaves and fades the flowers.
