Oxalis Plum Crazy

My friend decided to drop this absolutely amazing oxalis on my doorstep last night. I'm not sure of commonality in this plant. I typically see triangularis, but she knew I would love it and I do! I've never seen this kind of oxalis before! So beautiful 😍

So glad I have amazing friends who enable my plant obsession 🤣

When I was in middle school, in the back of the school library on a little ledge was an aloe plant. I'd spend a lot of lunch times, in that corner, feverishly reading every book I could. Well times have changed. I still spend tons of time reading everything I can get my hands on, but I no longer go to the library to do so (usually). I check out ebooks from the @indylibrary and read at home or on vacation. Someone gave me a huge gift however and gave me the ability to bring one of the few happy times I had in school to my home. Philodendrom Silver Sword. The Philodendron is one of my top genus of plants for many reasons. Not only do they produce gorgeous large leaves. They are generally easy to care for. Some of the more expensive varieties though usually need a little more care and attention. Give Philodendrons plenty of bright indirect light. Let the soil nearly completely dry out before watering and you should have no problems at all. On to another window. 🏡This is my south living room window and the plants 🌿 are sitting on my husband's grandma's antique sewing machine. I up-potted my mistletoe fig the other day and you can read about that in my profile link. There is a fiddle leaf fig , which I just staked as it had leaned toward the window, (remember to turn your plants), a Ficus maclellandi 'Alii Variegata', many neoregelia bromeliads, Ficus 'Neon Marguerite', Dracaena (sansevieria) 'Fernwood' and my new 'Yellowstone' Dracaena (sansevieria) which obviously needs a new pot- another day. I had to have that "planty" chair which I bought at a consignment shop many years ago. Swipe to see the tall columns on either side of the sewing machine I purchased from @thefoundcottage last summer. I've always wanted columns like these! One has a 'N' Joy' Pothos and the other a Hoya pubicalyx which is taking over the ceiling and the plates on the wall ( see the plates- I told you I liked plates on the wall). I also have 3 tillandsias hanging in glass balls. Always lots of room for plants. I fill every window!
