Oxalis Plum Crazy
My friend decided to drop this absolutely amazing oxalis on my doorstep last night. I'm not sure of commonality in this plant. I typically see triangularis, but she knew I would love it and I do! I've never seen this kind of oxalis before! So beautiful 😍
So glad I have amazing friends who enable my plant obsession 🤣

Choosing the Perfect Garden Pots: A Quick Guide
Selecting the right garden pots can make a significant difference in your garden’s health and aesthetics. Here’s a quick guide to help you choose the perfect containers for your plants.
1. Consider the Size: Choosing the right size pot is crucial. A pot that's too small can restrict root growth, while one that's too large might retain excess moisture. Ensure the pot has enough space for your plant’s root system to thrive, but avoid oversized pots that can lead to waterlogging.
2. Think About Material: Garden pots come in various materials, each with its pros and cons:
Terracotta: These classic pots are porous, allowing air exchange and moisture control but may dry out quickly.
Plastic: Lightweight and durable, plastic pots retain moisture well and are often less expensive.
Ceramic and Stone: These materials add a decorative touch and retain moisture but can be heavy and costly.
3. Ensure Proper Drainage: Good drainage is vital to prevent root rot. Check for drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. If there aren’t any, you can drill some yourself or choose a pot with a built-in drainage system.
4. Match Your Style: Your garden pots should complement your garden’s design. Whether you prefer modern, rustic, or classic styles, there’s a pot to fit your aesthetic. Consider how the pot’s color, shape, and texture align with your overall garden theme.
5. Think About Mobility: If you plan to move your pots around, opt for lightweight materials or pots with wheels. This feature can be particularly useful for indoor plants or seasonal changes.
Choosing the perfect garden pot is a blend of functionality and style. By considering size, material, drainage, and design, you’ll create a thriving garden space that looks great and supports your plants’ health.

Winterizing houseplants P3! Sunlight changes 🌞🌤️🌥️🌦️
***𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀!***
In winter the intensity of the sunlight usually decreases. Plants automatically start adapting to those changes, resulting in less nutrients intake and stop growth. They take a break! This can also provoke a couple of leaves yellowing and dropping.
A common mistake is to freak out and add a lot of fertilizer and water it more, stressing the plant and probably causing other issues.
Sit back, use the finger test to determine when a plant needs water, do not fertilize it, just let them rest.
