I had a dream where BitterBat was tending to his garden cause he had a nice flourishing garden with earth and umbra flora, Amara was chilling near by preggy and they had already had their first child who was playing near by 🥹

Ok this is like...one of the cutest dreams someone has sent in 😭

I could see Bitterbat doing this 100% because once he and Amara start having kids, he begins to genuinely start integrating Umbra and Earth stuff together for their children to experience both their backgrounds.

It's not that he doesn't mix Umbra and Earth stuff now but it's little crumbs here and there as he more so focuses on learning Earth things.

Around the point they start their family, he kind of has everything down and starts to mix it with Umbra things.

In theory it's the erdtree's shadow but Because of that the scadutree is more like an inverted/parodical image of Enir-ilim in particular (coiled tree with radiant white bark; proto-erdtree), itself a shadowed place in imitation of the shadowrealm as a whole. more specifically it's the portion of the erdtree that blatantly betrays its origin in the cultural matrix of the hornsent rather than something sui generis While displaying the wretched circumstances of that inheritance in Marika's betrayal/sin and subsequent crusade. it is the Symbol of the crusade AND a Spiral at the same time (and it is difficult not to see something of the crucible horns in the prickly flora of umbra). its inimical relationship to the forces that made it create a sort of war against the self, hence it's extreme frailness/dual trunks, one choking the other/seclusion in a veil of shadow. the pernicious denying of its own roots bit really reminds me of Miquella's self-denying efforts to create a clean slate for his own order (he even abandons the remnants of his great rune on scadutree base as insult to injury lol).

But also... it's notable that it's described as bereft of Order when the single other mention of Something bearing no order is with Minor Erdtree, an uncharacteristically kind and passional aspect of Marika that sounds almost, primordially remote? very ideal but unnaccomplished (pure conjecture). It makes me reflect on the Golden Order and fundamentalism being latter pursuits during radagon era when i assume the real crucible erasure began in earnest. Hatred and Kindness being approximated like that... does the transposition of the world into sense denature these?

I think if you were going to do a ML/Winx story, have at least your main character from Earth, with the "Earth's Magic hasn’t been around for ages" thing, so you could use the "explain to the new kid" thing. Just don’t know who. Chloe is probably from Eraklyon, Adrien's from somewhere cat related, Kagami's from Domino, Luka and Juleka from Musa's planet (Juleka's dad from Umbra?), Rose from Flora's . . . Marinette could be half-something? Idk

Okay so I’ve decided to explain the premise of my fantasy story I hope to finish and make a reality.

The first part of it I plan to have be a book series called The Gods Game. It takes place in a completely original world made by me with eight main species, seven nations, and many new kinds of flora and fauna within a fantasy setting. Each species has their own religion and belief system that is centered around their own god. The gods here want their religion to be the dominant one so they devise a plan, or rather a game.

The Gods Game.

They grant eight mortals godlike power, all born with it and at the same time. When they turn fifteen, they will receive a message to seek the other champions, not told how it will all end or who the other champions are. Though you my friend, will know who they are:

Katrin’s champion: Clara, champion of negotiations

Wolfla’s champion: Alex, champion of fire.

Shakie’s champion: Velatrix, champion of chaos

Kumu’s champion: Vex, champion of the jungles

Avia’s champion: Eloise, champion of wings

Pn’ckets champion: Umbra, champion of the voids

St’roq’s champion: Feyure, champion of storms

Truenq’s champion: Archia, secret champion of the forgotten (he is not introduced until the final battle)

Through the story they become friends and some become even more. The seven known champions make their way to the final battle location and are told that to end the game, they need to fight to the death. The surviving champion’s god would then win the game and their religion would dominate.

Evidently, they don’t want to. They don’t want to kill the people they’ve come to love, some platonically, some romantically. But the gods are able to forcibly control their champions, the gods will becoming their will.

What's Beyond the Horizon ? That's a story telling the adventures and the journey of a group of dragonets in their continent and beyond !

I know, it totally sounds like a Wings of Fire fanfiction. It is not, but it's inspired of it ((and this books are the reason why I love so much dragons)).

For now, there's two known continents, Embrya and Gemina.

To put it in a nutshell :

Dragon species on Embrya :

• Tonitruum : electricity dragons, they can generate lightning.

• Ventus : wind dragons, they can control all types of winds and are built for long flights.

• Umbra : an underground species, they have been in deep competition with the Tonitruum for a long time, particularly over control of the mineral resources market.

• Vepres : dragons of flora and earth, they live in a immense continental type forest.

• Ignis : fire dragons, their habitat is a valley of waking volcanoes.

• Oceanus : dragon of waters, fresh and salty. their appearance varies as much from one individual to another as there are different species on the seabed. ((so yeah no they're not Seawings))

Dragon species on Gemina ((may change)) :

• Venenum : snake-like dragons. beware their bite, it's venomous. ((the effects varies depending on the individual.))

• Pretosia : dragons naturally covered with more or less precious minerals which form their shell.

• Anima : Animal-like dragons ..... not really inspired on those ones.

• Mutasio : species of dragon MYSTERIOUSLY VANISHED ((*cough* genocide *cough*)).

The 2nd main character is Aaron (he/they) and he’s a nonbinary omnisexual human with light powers who meets vi before xe transitions and tells them about the guild he’s in and they become bestiez (qpr)

Jewel (they/them) is a POC nonbinary polyamorous bisexual (water humanoid idk what it’s called/not a merperson) princex who has ice and water powers and doesn’t like being royalty and joins the guild (after vi) to get stronger and wants to make a change with how the kingdom is run (they also become a singer)

Ryu (he/they) is a multisexual dragon humanoid with fire and blacksmith/mechanic-esque powers that comes from a poor (but loving) family and therefore hates society and rich ppl (/pos) but realises jewel isn’t like that (also they met in their childhood and when Jewel found out what life was like for commoners that’s when they decided they wanna make a change) also he’s a gamer and is besties with vi and joins the guild for a similar reason to jewel

Fei (she/they) is a POC (with vitiligo) intersex genderfae abroromantic polyamorous elf with flora and earthy powers and is The Mom Friend that joins the guild and they really like fashion and when vi joins the guild she teaches him how to sew bc he’d really like a hoodie and wants it ~personalised~

Felix (he/him) is a bisexual dogboy with lightning powers and is sporty and he’s Fei’s childhood friend and is The Dad Friend/older brother friend (can’t decide) that joins the guild with Fei

The Rise of Alexander Mortis: Lord Umbra

Beginning his journey on Arcadia under Xavier Nightshadow's tutelage, he adopted the persona of Lord Umbra, plotting to overthrow the Celestial Council. By 52 BBS, he entered politics as an Arcadian senator, maintaining his dual identity while advancing his ambitions covertly.

Imperial Siege and Political Ascendancy

The turning point came in 32 BBS with the Imperial Siege, orchestrated by Alexander Mortis through the framing of the Knight's Valor for the murder of Veridion's political representative. This false accusation destabilized the Celestial Council, paving the way for Alexander's rise. By 19 BBS, following strategic manipulation during the Celestial Conflict, Alexander proclaimed the transformation of the Celestial Council into the Imperial Galactic, declaring himself Sovereign.

Alexander Mortis' ascent from Shadow Order apprentice to Sovereign epitomized ambition and calculated strategy. His manipulation of events, including the Siege on Veridion, dismantled existing power structures and reshaped the galaxy under Imperial dominance. The legacy of Veridion's siege and Alexander's rise continues to echo through the galaxy, marking a pivotal chapter in its history.

An Introduction to my Five Main Characters

Trigger warning: Mentions of character death, mentions of childhood trauma/abandonment, mentions of war and war related injuries

As the title suggests this is a simple introduction to my five main characters, not including the antagonists. The working title right now is Five Fools.

To explain some things, there are 7 countries. 3 of them are democratic countries. These are the countries run by humans. And 4 of them are kingdoms. 3 of these are the countries run by Elves and 1 is the one run by vampires. The countries names are as follows:

Calen Imlad (Elven) (Colors- Green and Gold)

Crumpenia (Human) (Colors- Blue and Red)

Elmash (Elven) (Colors- undecided)

Ashor (Human) (Colors- Purple and yellow)

Nathic (Human) (Colors- Black and Gold)

Ithil (Elven) (Colors- Silver and White) 

Skjallgrim (Vampiric) (Colors- Black and dark blue)

Aiwenor (Rovan) (Colors- Light blue and Light yellow)

Each character gets a quick little blurb describing their backstory. So without further ado, I introduce to you... drum roll please... The Five Fools!

Belua- She was born to two loving parents. Her and her twin brother's parents were killed by two werewolves when she and her brother were 11. These werewolves turned her twin into a werewolf but left him in her care. They survived together for a while but her brother was killed by werewolf poachers when they were 16. She left her country behind and went to Forthwit, Ashor. There she got a job at The Tipsy Griffin Tavern & Inn and was mentored by the owner. Eventually when she passed she left the Tavern to Belua. Belua started hiding runaways in the inn and that is how she met El. He was instructed to go to her by X and she kept him safe, but they forged a friendship and she felt like she couldn’t just send him off on his own so she gave him a job in the tavern and they stayed very close.

Lepus (Lee)- She was left by her birth mother on the door of a church that worshipped Flora and Fauna. They named her Lepus because they found a baby bunny at the same time as her. (This bunny was sent to guide her by her mother Fauna) She was raised well, everyone loved her. Growing up she could hear the animals whispering to her. She has harnessed this ability with the help of said rabbit and can communicate with animals. They can show her images in her mind, this could be showing her what they see or showing her memories. She can also just talk to them. She got her scar from a tussle with a fellow church goer. They were kids and were play-fighting. The kid scratched her face.

El- He is not very open about his childhood. He was born in Calen Imlad. He used to stargaze with his father, who taught him about astronomy. He was infected with Lycanthropy as a child. Because of this his father gave him up. He refuses to talk about what happened during this time. He escaped when he was 22. He was sent to Belua by X. She took a liking to him almost immediately. They became very close friends. She offered him a job which would pay for his food and lodging (+ a little extra) at The Tipsy Griffin. He plays Piano for the tavern during the day and helps Umbra steal things during the night. (He is a very talented lock pick)

Umbra- He grew up in Arnad, Calen Imlad. He discovered his connections to shadows at a young age. He can travel from one shadow to another, even through walls. This makes breaking and entering very easy. He got into trouble but the kings admired his skills. He was sent out on a mission to steal back an important necklace for the kingdom. After he stole it and returned it to the kings he asked them to stay in Ashor. He had fallen in love with the country. The kings said yes so he now lives in Forthwit. He works as a thief for hire and stays at The Tipsy Griffin, occasionally helping out with dishes or serving drinks.

Miles- He was abandoned by his parents at an army base in Forthwit and was raised to fight. He was sent to aid Crumpenia in their war against Elmash. While in active combat a grenade was thrown at him. It blew up, gravely injuring him. This resulted in him losing his leg (luckily the healers managed to save his knee) and being honourably discharged from service. He started drinking because of this. He does odd jobs around Forthwit. Namely labour jobs. He enjoys doing heavy lifting although his leg, rather lack of, slows him down a little.

Shadows Over Loathing Upgradeable Skills Books

Doing multiple playthroughs of the game I noticed an inconsistency in the skillbooks I had, so I decided to write down the locations of the skillbooks for elemental resistances and + Max HP, + % Meat Drops and + % Item Drops, which I'm calling continuously upgradeable skills, since they are skills that you can upgrade… continuously. Ocean City The book for sleaze resistance is called "Surely Shocking Jokes (complete set)". It will be sold by a wandering merchant for 200 meat. Crystaldream Lake The book for stench resistance is called Flora Foetida. It will be available at the Junkyard, which itself is part of the main quest in Crystaldream Lake. Upon first entering the region, move left to find the entrance to the lower levels. Once you're inside, kill the pixies to the right and move right to the end of the corridor. The book will be on the ground and requires a muscle 4 stat test to pick up. The book for + Max HP is called Encyclopaedium of Bloode. It will be at The Sandwich Museum, which, in turn, can be found while wondering the lake. The book will be in the bookcase in Proctor Manor basement (in the past), which is the 4th house to the right, when entering the village. This overlaps with the ending of the Sandwich questline, associated with the Village of Sandwich Achievement. S.I.T Campus, Porkham The book for cold resistance requires two parts. Part 1 of 2 is buying "His Magesty's Least Favorite Poems". The very boring book that does nothing will be sold by Ovid, a Hobo salesman found while wandering S.I.T Campus. It will later converted to Posthumous Works of Famous Poets in Grey County's H*** Hole. The book for hot resistance is called "Short Stories of Long Winters" and will be available at the BBQ Wing Maintenance Room, which can be accessed through the steam maintenance ladder. The + % Meat Drop is called 111 Mutton Recipes. Acquiring it overlaps with the main questline for the S.I.T Campus. The door inside the library, next to the man with an eyeball for a head, will open once you advance said questline enough and will close forever once you acquire Librum Umbra Mallum Ovilla (LUMO, for short). If you are doing the hobo questline (required for increments in hobo code), make sure you notice the code in the back left shelves and take the book about panhandling before taking LUMO. Once you uncurse LUMO, in Murray's Antiques, Ocean City, 111 Mutton Recipes will be added to the inventory. 111 Mutton Recipes and LUMO are mutually exclusive. Grey County The book for cold resistance requires two parts. Part 2 of 2 is converting "His Magesty's Least Favorite Poems" to "Posthumous Works of Famous Poets". The H*** Hole can be found while wandering Grey County and will convert many items starting with the letter "H" into more demonic and frequently more interesting counterparts. Tossing "His Magesty's Least Favorite Poems" into the pit will yield the cold resistance book. Finally. As a curiosity, if your player's name starts with the letter H you will be able to toss *yourself* into the pit. Have fun. The book for spooky resistance is called "Scary Stories for Spooky Children" and will be available at the Gilmore House: The house itself will appear on the map as part of the main quest for the cursed item in Grey County, which can be picked by talking to the fine anarchist terrorists at the Feed Store. The book will be on the table to the left of when you first enter the house. The book for + % Item Drop is called "Expensive Luxuries, Inc. Catalogue" and will be available at The Black Gold Mine. Clear the mine of vampires and the book will be on the furniture to right. Croesus Vanderbilt, the wealthy Hobo, will also be there. The mine can be found while wandering and also as part of the mob questline. Read the full article
