I get reminders every now and again that I don't like Sirenix's designs and I want to tweak it every single time.

The biggest change this time is the shape of the wings and accent coloring. The wings are overall the Harmonix ones combined into one single shape and outline (with a few bits of added outlines to add some more flair to the shapes inside). I also tried to match the positions of the tail fins to those mermaid designs from the book that only released in Italy with no form name. I don't think I made a note of it anywhere previously, but I want the sashes (originally the Harmonix trains) to add to the Sirenix by having the girls wrap them around their legs and using them to get their tails.

Design notes🌊: So my version of Sirenix is mostly a mix between the Winx mermaid forms, Sirenix, and Harmonix, but I also wanted to make it unique while using all of those elements!

Each of the girls has a mermaid form that I imagine they would use inside the Infinite Ocean to swim a little faster and dodge attacks from Tritannus and the Trix, lol.

Each girl's tail is based on different things:

•Aisha (waves)

•Flora (betta fish)

•Musa (a harp)

•Stella (butterfly koi)

•Tecna (sailfish)

•Bloom (generic fish)

I wanted to give each girl something unique while also giving them something cool. Hope you all like this version as much as you liked the Enchantix designs!

Story/lore:🌊 Sirenix is known as the "Transformation of the Sea." Originally, it was only used as a tool to access the Infinite Ocean and its secrets. However, a nymph took control of the magic and lost her life in the Infinite Ocean, leading the Magix Council to deem transformation dangerous and forbidden. Only the nine nymphs of Magix were prohibited from using this form, and they oversaw magic users seeking its power. That was the case until they all passed away one by one. Now, the Winx must complete the Sirenix quest to save the Magic Dimension and uncover the mystery of the Sirenix transformation

Next in our Sirenix lineup is Flora! This fairy of nature is styled in her gorgeous pink and green color scheme. I especially love Her little flower headpiece and the vine wrapped around her arm.

I drew Flora’s Sirenix back in 2020…it’s so cool to see the change from then!

5 Things I DESPERATELY want for the Winx Club reboot

A balanced, inclusive story. Seasons 1-3 of the original series were amazing, but Tecna and Flora felt super neglected in terms of their world and backgrounds (I remember it's said in the RAI dub that Tecna is an android, and I'd love for that to be canon). It'd also be fun to see more of Andros and the merpeople without having to wait 5 seasons for it.

Male fairies. They've been shown in the background of the original show, but their designs are very basic and without any transformations.

The specialists are developed, fleshed-out love interests and we nix all of the toxic moments. We don't know a large amount of them outside of Sky, and the Sky/Diaspro/Bloom love triangle is just messy and unnecessary. Riven deserves an arc where he overcomes his toxic masculinity and sexism due to how his mom abandoned him and see the Winx and specialists help him with that. Plus I kinda want them to be magical rather than guys with magical weapons; they don't really stand a chance against magical villains, and their skills don't seem as cool next to sorcerers, fairies, witches, and wizards. I'd also like for Nabu to be a part of the group from the get-go, and Nex and Roy can be supporting characters. And let them have more clothes!

Meaningful transformations. In the original, Charmix is about overcoming insecurities, Enchantix is earned via sacrifice, and everything afterwards is a group project (even if some of them have nice designs). More meaningful requirements that contribute to their mental and emotional growth should be incorporated into the transformations--if they end up going beyond Enchantix.

Clarify what Daphne's situation is and let Bloom ENJOY Domino. At first Daphne was cursed by the witches to become a disembodied spirit, and then it was clarified that it was her Sirenix transformation that was cursed. I liked the idea that Sirenix could turn you evil like Politea, though Daphne being a disembodied spirit as a result of the transformation felt like an odd retcon. If they want to use Sirenix later, perhaps have it exist as an evil transformation, resulting in why Bloom has to fight Daphne while Aisha fights Tritanus. And I just want Bloom to be able to enjoy her time in Domino when it's restored rather than immediately going back to business.

And I'll just be that guy: is there ANY way to get the 4kids cast to do the English dub? If not, I made a post with my own fancast for the girls and the specialists. Haven't made one for the villains yet, though.

First two are Bloom and Flora!

Normally Bloom is portraited with bright pink colors, but i personally prefer these colors on Flora.

I gave Bloom different shades of blue and a deeper color of pink, similar to her Dreamix/Onyrix colors. Obviously she's the little cinnamon roll with hearts so i had to bring these in her design as well. She doesn't have any "sea elements", however her color pallet is remind me of the deep sea with pink corals/anemones, which are represented in some of her accesoires

Flora on the other hand gives off more Plant vibes ofc. Dark green for sea grass or alge, or a jungle near the beach, with bright pink and green plants from tropical plants or a coral reef. I gave her more soft curves, resembling her softer personality and again, plants, while also giving her some spikes bc we Stan powerful Mom friend Flora that fights back if u hurt her friends.

Bloom → Inspired by an aquatic dragon

Stella → Water stars maybe???

Tecna → More technological version of deep-sea diving suits

Flora → Inspired by marine flora

Aisha → Inspired by deep-sea fishes

Musa → Inspired by the Chinese goddess Mazu

These are the ideas I have at the moment.

I'm not so sure about Stella, I have my ears open for concept ideas for her.

Least fave Winx Transformation

Please vote for your least favorite Winx transformation and if you wish, reblog and say why. I’m including WOW and season 8. I need to know because I have met people who hate Sirenix as much as I do and yet the official people in charge of Winx club say it’s one the most popular (IE marketable) transformations. So I’m confused and would like a census. So HWG.
