Starting off our Fairytale February with Duchess Swan, one of my personal favorites!

Being the daughter of the Swan Princess is a tough role but Duchess takes it with grace. Like a true swan she does have a thorny side…but when your destiny dictates a tragic ending it’s bound to affect your personality. Despite it all she is slowly learning and prefers to share her feelings through dance rather than words.

Who’s ready for Lunar New Year? Just for my upcoming markets in January and February I’ll have these as sets of postcards and notepads while supplies last! The design is inspired by traditional Chinese landscape paintings with my qilin character! Qilin are regarded as guardians and symbols of prosperity, perfect to be our protectors in the new year!

This year’s art summary! So much has happened this year that I’m so thankful for. It was a huge year for my art career getting to do larger scale projects and public artwork. Thank you for everything this year, from cons to visiting my public art! Seeing my art on a traffic box makes me cry still! I also got to exhibit at the AGA twice which you can still see! And the highlight was being a finalist in the Winx Fanart contest. That truly was a dream come true!

Final Lovix in the lineup is Aisha, just in time before this holiday season ends! I love how her usual green colour becomes this perfect winter green. With the cool blues and purple it comes together so well!

I’ve been learning how to do some 3D modelling and after a lot of trial and error I made this little shark! My hope is to get them 3d printed and paint them! So keep an eye out for mini figures in the new year! 👀

The language of flowers with cute fairies! I made these illustrations for gifts and had a lot of fun with them! From top to bottom left to right:

Azalea means familial bonds and duty.

Chamomile means rest and positivity.

Bluebell means kindness and appreciation.

Hollyhock means ambition and abundance.

Gladiolus means integrity and strength.

Daffodils mean new beginnings and hope.

A fun departure from the green and purple color scheme! I love how the blues go so well with all the shades of purple. Plus the little fur hood is such a cute detail! Season 4 Tecna designs are so good!

Getting to watch Laufey in theatres this week was one of the most magical moments for me. I found her music right when I needed it most and she put into words everything I was feeling and struggling with. Being a Chinese romantic that feels like she doesn’t quite fit in sometimes is so relatable for me. 💕

Seeing her in that pink dress was like seeing a princess on stage, I had to draw it! Just my small way of thanking her for what her music has done for me.

Just in time for Blooms birthday! She’s so cute in the fluffy pink and icy blue winter gear. I love how she brings fire and ice together for a powerful combo!

My fave fashion icon in her signature orange! I love when she gets to have sunset/sunrise colors in her design, her wings are like a beautiful dawn on a winter’s day!

Today is a sad day for Voltron fans, myself included. Though this show may be gone the impact it left can be felt even years later. It reminds me of Allura and how saying goodbye doesn’t mean you can’t remember the moments that mean so much.

Flora’s believix was already so cute, but her Lovix adds those extra cute tufts of green fur! The bright pinks with the evergreen fur are such a good combo for Flora!

The snow has fallen and since it’s been an amazing year of winx I thought it would make sense to end off with Lovix art! Have to start off with Musa in her cute blue and purple outfit. The red accents are my favorite too!
