[Coroika Robot AU: Droids of Coroika]

I've been working on an AU for a few weeks now. Specs' design is pictured above. The AU is still a HUGE W.I.P though so I don't have much info to share yet.

[Basics of the lore]

All citizens disappear off the face of the earth, no inkfish or non-ink related fish to be found, only their creations remain. Their androids and robots divided themselves into teams of 4, and spread across the remains of inkadia. One team in particular, Team Emperor, is extremely violent and seeks to hunt down and destroy all other teams. Allied teams notice and join together to defend themselves from this threat. The allied teams build base camps along the ruins of inkadia. Occasionally the allied teams come across the remains of teams who they haven't met yet. Turf wars still exist, but they are mainly done between the allied teams. Turf wars are more viewed as a pastime, however, the violent team doesn't do turf wars. The violent team seeks out teams to decimate them.

[Team designs]

Teams will tend to have different model appearances. [For example: Team Blue consists entirely of strange floating technology based robots with screens as their faces.] Designs for other teams are still being thought of. The clothing of each team will be stylized a little to add some variety to the AU.

Emperor's Turf: Areas colored in red. Territory in which Team Emperor is known to roam and reside, all allied teams refuse to go there. Unfortunately Team Emperor does not stay in their turf and will occasionally ambush traveling teams.

Sea of Conflict: The tides had risen over the years, completely covering the Great Turf War Craters and giving way for the new, enlarged sea.

Octochasm Lake: The rising tides have completely flooded octo canyon, rendering the old Octarian territory completely unreachable.

Eight Legged Lake: Same deal as Octochasm lake, only with Octo Valley instead.

The Safe Route: The route that has been titled as the safest route between all 3 base camps.

[Bases]

Hall of Unity: A place in which the allied teams meet to discuss further action in response of the enemy's doings

Base Inkfall: A place of safety ran by Team Inkfall. It's very clean there. Soft beds as well.

Base Hachi: A base full of gadgets and tools. The local "weapons smith" some might say.

Base S4: A base ran by the infamous S4 along with their own individual teams, quite crowded there, but still safe.

[Ruins]

The ruins of Splatsville: What remains of the once populated city for chaotic cephalopods.

The ruins of Inkopolis: The sad remains of the once bright and vibrant city of color.

[Gravesites]

Gravesite of Team XBlood: The site of which Emperor's first victims had fallen. The entire team was mercilessly wiped.

Gravesite of Team Yellow-Green: The site of where 3 members of Team Yellow-Green had fallen, only Rider remains.

Gravesite of Team Hachi: The site of where 2 members of Team Hachi had fallen, only Hachi and Nana remain.

Gravesite of Team Dark Green: Latest set of victims. All members were wiped.

[The antagonists]

The info of the violent team hasn't been fully written yet. To get an idea of how violent and destructive they can be, just know that Team X-Blood is the first to fall. The leader of the violent team can control his teammates at will, usually their eyes will glow red when controlled. One of the members is an outlier, and does not desire to decimate other teams.

coroika floats in such a weird splatoon limbo-- like, octo canyon and octo expansion take place roughly at the same time, but in coroika Goggles is there for both??? and it seems like theyre months apart. imagine a giant statue almost blows up you and your friends and then in a quest for a hairdryer you and another friend accident solve the power crisis in the city

Dear Reader,

I have had a massive change in art styles yet again and I feel immensely guilty for not being consistent.

I keep using different mediums to try to find something that suits my tastes and what I want to express in a piece.

I never end up with any proper pieces.

They're all so different, like different people made them. I don't even feel like myself anymore. I don't consider my art my art anymore because the styles are so inconsistent.

It kind of reminds me of how I have different accounts for different groups that I associate myself with. It's my comfort, knowing I can sort my stuff into different profiles. It keeps everything orderly for me.

In addition to that, I practically stopped posting on tumblr now, I don't know what to post, or what to say. It's too disorganized for me, I contribute to multiple fandoms/groups in one account, and it doesn't feel right to me. I want to keep the Coroika Stuff in a Coroika-Made account, and the Gachiakuta-Stuff in a Gachiakuta-Made account.

Hell, I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I feel like a HIATUS is necessary. I might have to leave for a while, maybe for good.

To you reading this, I am sorry that I have disappointed you. I never feel like my posts are good enough, and I never feel like I can stay consistent with any post. It's pure chaos, and it doesn't stick right with me.

I am truly ashamed of who I am, and what I've done. I don't feel like I've really contributed enough to be considered a member of any community. I keep changing topics, because I don't know what to focus on. My mind is completely scattered, and whatever makes sense keeps drifting away from eachother like an endless ocean with garbage floating away and to eachother.

I might do a rebrand of this blog, where I change absolutely everything, and become someone else. I have changed mentally and physically, I'm no longer as immature as I was before, and I am disappointed in myself for not making the change quickly enough.

I regret who I am.

its late at night so im a little crazy but the coroika fandom wiki is genuinely annoying me right now because its full of disinformation about like literally everything in the manga.

the part thats pissing me off the most is the inkling on ocho's team that wears the invisifloats. on the wiki her name is listed as Snow but her Almanac name literally translates to Float. Her name is Float and I cross-referenced the Japanese name on inkipedia of the invisifloats to the almanac.

there are so many things i could complain about the fandom wiki but i NEVER see people bring this up

Coroika au doodle - Floating Isle of Inkopolis au

Hey so, this doodle is mostly that of a sort of continuation of the two shit-post drawings I've posted for this au.

Feeling a bit silly so I'm going to explain one of the many Coroika au's i have. putting it under a read more because it's a long one.

So, The floating isle of Inkopolis.

Basically, in this au Inkopolis is on a giant floating island and below that island is a giant sea of some sort of dark liquid. The city is run by an unnamed inkling, who also makes the laws and stuff of the city. Anyone who breaks the law is sacrificed to whatever lies in the inky depths beneath the island.

So what's in the depths? well, it's inklings that evolved very differently than the ones we see up in Inkopolis. Sure they look similar in terms of appearance having the same Tentacle hair and same amount of limbs but they are WAY taller than inklings on the land. And before you ask, no, the liquid beneath Inkopolis is not water, it's a strange sort of ink-like substance that can't splat inklings.

So what's going on in the 'wonderful' city of Inkopolis? well, the current Inkling leader is basically a fucking asshole and is really shady and is basically a tyrant. Rumour has it that a group started up to try and bring an end to the tyranny, called 'The Squidbeak Splatoon'.

The SS of this au consists of Agent's 1, 2, 3, 4 and 4.5 because the number five does not exist. We should really all know who agents 1 and 2 are but the other three are Rider(3), Aloha(4) and Prince(4.5).

But what about turf wars and such??? well, they still exist, but there aren't as many maps. Rank also exists and so do the S4, it's just that two teams of the S4 had to be replaced due to au things. So, the two who I had to replace in the S4 were Skull and Mask, more on that later. The two are replaced by Rider and Emperor.

Now we take our gaze to the depths below, to the mysterious ocean(that isn't water) beneath the floating isle, where basically anyone who commits basically any crime ends up, and no, they cannot breathe within this sea so they just drown or get consumed by whatever sorts of creatures that live down there. The Inklings(and maybe octolings) that live down there have evolved to have bioluminescent lines on their body and eye masks, Extra tentacles spawning from the back(that also have bioluminescent spots.) and antenna.

So, what members of our cast live down below? well, I'll list them off!

All of team blue

Skull and Aviators(not sure about Paisley and Stitch)

All of Team Cyan

All of the X-Blood

And that's all of the under dwellers for now. But what perhaps might be our story for this au? Well, it starts off simple, and as in simple I mean Aloha getting thrown into the ocean by two Octarian assassins sent to exterminate the members of the Squidbeak Splatoon by none other than the leader of Inkopolis themself. Aloha had not taken off his hero suit yet and planned to do so when he got home but whoops, sudden ambush and now he is being thrown into the sea.

Now, Aloha knows that this sea is trouble, so he is fully expecting to die right now from drowning. Unfortunately, the hopes of drowning to death are dashed as out of the corner of his eye, he sees a cyan glow... And then he passes the fuck out from a lack of air. haha lmao what a loser/j

don't worry he's fine... I think...

But that's all I'll say for now~ want to know more parts of the story? Then just ask! I'll be happy to tell you more, same goes for the other au's I've made.
