Coroika au doodle - Floating Isle of Inkopolis au

Hey so, this doodle is mostly that of a sort of continuation of the two shit-post drawings I've posted for this au.

Feeling a bit silly so I'm going to explain one of the many Coroika au's i have. putting it under a read more because it's a long one.

So, The floating isle of Inkopolis.

Basically, in this au Inkopolis is on a giant floating island and below that island is a giant sea of some sort of dark liquid. The city is run by an unnamed inkling, who also makes the laws and stuff of the city. Anyone who breaks the law is sacrificed to whatever lies in the inky depths beneath the island.

So what's in the depths? well, it's inklings that evolved very differently than the ones we see up in Inkopolis. Sure they look similar in terms of appearance having the same Tentacle hair and same amount of limbs but they are WAY taller than inklings on the land. And before you ask, no, the liquid beneath Inkopolis is not water, it's a strange sort of ink-like substance that can't splat inklings.

So what's going on in the 'wonderful' city of Inkopolis? well, the current Inkling leader is basically a fucking asshole and is really shady and is basically a tyrant. Rumour has it that a group started up to try and bring an end to the tyranny, called 'The Squidbeak Splatoon'.

The SS of this au consists of Agent's 1, 2, 3, 4 and 4.5 because the number five does not exist. We should really all know who agents 1 and 2 are but the other three are Rider(3), Aloha(4) and Prince(4.5).

But what about turf wars and such??? well, they still exist, but there aren't as many maps. Rank also exists and so do the S4, it's just that two teams of the S4 had to be replaced due to au things. So, the two who I had to replace in the S4 were Skull and Mask, more on that later. The two are replaced by Rider and Emperor.

Now we take our gaze to the depths below, to the mysterious ocean(that isn't water) beneath the floating isle, where basically anyone who commits basically any crime ends up, and no, they cannot breathe within this sea so they just drown or get consumed by whatever sorts of creatures that live down there. The Inklings(and maybe octolings) that live down there have evolved to have bioluminescent lines on their body and eye masks, Extra tentacles spawning from the back(that also have bioluminescent spots.) and antenna.

So, what members of our cast live down below? well, I'll list them off!

All of team blue

Skull and Aviators(not sure about Paisley and Stitch)

All of Team Cyan

All of the X-Blood

And that's all of the under dwellers for now. But what perhaps might be our story for this au? Well, it starts off simple, and as in simple I mean Aloha getting thrown into the ocean by two Octarian assassins sent to exterminate the members of the Squidbeak Splatoon by none other than the leader of Inkopolis themself. Aloha had not taken off his hero suit yet and planned to do so when he got home but whoops, sudden ambush and now he is being thrown into the sea.

Now, Aloha knows that this sea is trouble, so he is fully expecting to die right now from drowning. Unfortunately, the hopes of drowning to death are dashed as out of the corner of his eye, he sees a cyan glow... And then he passes the fuck out from a lack of air. haha lmao what a loser/j

don't worry he's fine... I think...

But that's all I'll say for now~ want to know more parts of the story? Then just ask! I'll be happy to tell you more, same goes for the other au's I've made.

Apologizing on anon, as I'm very shy (but I do follow you!) though I really love your Floating Isle of Inkopolis AU and love to learn more from it! Especially the fate of Aloha ( ；∀；) -🌺 anon (p.s: if I ever work up the courage, I'll ask as a not anon next time qwq)

As for the fate of Aloha in Floating Isle of Inkopolis, He does infact live! I haven't stated this on tumblr before but Mask does indeed help him get back to the surface after a while(aka around a week or two.) Then a few days later he gets sent down again by the same two octolings, and is saved again, by Mask. Who, after a day, attempts to take him back up to the surface but is caught in the act by Skull.

You see, deep sea Inklings are not supposed to go near the Surface at all, this was a rule imported by the X-Blood, who kind of rule over all the deep-sea inklings. Skull used to be apart of them but left on his own terms, but he still tends to half-enforce the rules. This causes the get Aloha back to the surface 2 electric boogaloo plan to fail, Mask does manage to get away without Skull finding out about Aloha though. So now they have to wait until Skull leaves the area which calls for some-what awkward bonding time. And that's all i have for now.

Oh, definitely PRISM.

PRISM is my pride and joy and working on it almost never fails to make me happy when i work on it.

However I also like TFII(Floating Isle of Inkopolis) and the Chaos eggs au
