#okay so the LINEART for fives might in fact be the best drawing i've ever done of him #but #the coloring. was. uh. DIFFICULT.#he's very green. as you can see XDDDDD #echo gave me zero problems except that he looked too Young and i couldn't figure out how to fix that so i just rolled with it #and went cadet-era #astute observers will see that echo's number is a bit mashed together. this is because apparently he had TWO SEPARATE numbers #at one point or another #and i was like. why would they change it. so i just welded them together like some kind of mad engineer and went with it #i kept his current canon number of 1409 but apparently his other number had a 21 prefix- which i kept cause it went with fives's 27 prefix #and in my mind. they have the prefixes cause they're twins. anyway canon can be whatever i want thank you and goodnight #star wars #star wars the clone wars #the clone wars #fives #echo #arc trooper fives #arc trooper echo #look at me. being a big girl and doing big girl things (tagging my posts properly)#expression game

i let all that get to my head/i don’t care, i paint the town red

#party poison #danger days #ttlotfk #killjoys california #heard paint the town red and went hm. kind of a party poison song #got super frustrated with this drawing earlier and had to take a full day away from it #before ultimately just deciding i’ve scrapped WAY too many drawings lately #and that the best way to start improving and not hating my art again is to keep pushing myself through drawings even when i hate them #try to fix them. and also probably doing some studies would help #also using references. that’s helped a little with being less frustrated #ANYWAYS. i had fun doing this one #i actually faked the lineless style by coloring over the lineart i did with either a similar color for inner lines + same color for outside #:]

whenever i look at my old art that's good i have to remind myself that no i AM still a good artist i DO still draw good stuff even if it's not as often. because god i really was popping the fuck off with good art for so long augh

#it hails #i truly do think my lineart specifically peaked in 2019-2021 i simply cannot do that anymore (the RSIs prevent me)#and my coloring etc was best when i was using a computer #sometimes it does feel like i have the worst of both worlds (trad + computer art) when working on my phone with my finger #but i prob couldn't draw the way i do in my phone with either of those so. and i can use pixels. that's gotta be a plus #SORRY for being negative i am having. the brain sadness. im gonna have a beer and egg sandwich and that'll fix me and i'll work on art today #maybe i'll rb some of my older stuff to this blog bc all of it is on my main
