So as tumblr users we all know about the Fall Drink (cider, caramel, chai). I'm pretty fond of them (and very fond of the chaider you used to be able to get at blue state coffee, rip) so I've been trying to recreate them at work. At home I have all the right ingredients but at work I currently have:

Fancy caramel sauce (for putting into drinks so like this Should be the same as carmel syrup but better...)

Hot water

Chai

Apple juice from concentrate

Non Americans will note here that apple juice is basically the same thing as cider so like, it should basically be the same, right? Fancy caramel sauce plus unfancy apple juice should cancel each other out and be a normal drink!

Except that fancy caramel sauce, despite being shelf stable, is milk based. And unfancy apple juice contains added absorbic acid (for longevity I assume?)

So I have made artificial spoiled milk
