about 98 % of my posts are reworked and edited
I find a quote I want to use and then I search for a suitable image. Most are credited and if this is the case I contact the author and ask their permission to use their work. Sadly, most of them are surprised and grateful that I have gotten in touch as many people who post their art do so without permission
I now have about 200 artists whose work I'm able to use. I always credit them when I use their art in my posts.
In addition to Tumblr I also post to Facebook and Pinterest. There have been a number of times that I have come across my posts that have just been copied. Not only do I miss out on much needed traffic, the authors whose permission I have aren't credited.
I feel that this is very unfair to them and as I have told them their work will be credited they may come across posts that aren't and realise that credit hasn't been made as I had promised. They may be missing out on much needed commissions.
Please don't just copy and paste. A lot of work may go into posts that now go without recognition.

lord, i REALLY like your Funtime Freddy design! you mind drawing/writing (doesn't matter, you write/draw WONDERFULLY!) about Y/N celebrating Yandere Funtime Freddy's birthday? (understandablew if you don't want to. no pressure)
“Oh, cupcake, I’m the one who’s supposed to be celebrating birthdays! Not the other way around, silly!”
He boops your nose, giggling. Freddy finds the whole thing sweet, but he insists that his birthday isn’t worth celebrating because he doesn't have one!
His creator never cared enough to give his creations much background besides basic programming so why should he try making one up? Besides, he much prefers celebrating to being the one celebrated.
If you decide you still wanna give him something special it could go down in two ways:
You aren't trapped: With more access to time and materials, you could set up an actual party! You’ll also have an easier time hiding your plans from the bear. Because FT Freddy is quick to notice subtle changes in behavior it’s easier to excuse yourself for work reasons than to make up a lie. The worst FT Freddy can do is pester you with non-stop questions and pleadings. If you can settle his curiosity with a couple of hints you could convince him to give you some space till you’re ready.
You are trapped:  Though a little limited there is enough to make a serviceable gift. The only problem is none of the time away from FT Freddy. It’s already hard enough for him to part from you when you have to use the bathroom, nonetheless making a party for him. FT Freddy himself is quite the delusional fellow so whenever you propose anything to do with being away from him he expects it to be an escape attempt. Getting anything done requires BonBon and Bonnet's assistance. Luckily These cuties are more than willing to give you a hand. It’s going to take a lot of convincing to get Freddy to agree and even more patience when he’s constantly on your tail about it.
Do be mindful of how much time you have. No matter the situation Freddy will grow more wary from your lack of presence. You wouldn’t want Freddy to snap from the lack of attention.
“Hello there, Cupcake!” You jump from a sudden shrill voice. It doesn't matter how long you’ve been with the bear, you'll never get used to how stealthy he is for his size. You turn to see him hover over you with his typical Cheshire grin.  His hand puppet happily waved your way mouthing a ‘hi’.
“You've been a-awfully secretive as of late, w-whatcha up to mmm?” Despite his upbeat attitude, you could hear a hint of impatience in his tone. Finally deciding it was time you tell him to close his eyes.
“Oh, a s-s-surprise!? Is that what you’ve been p-planning?” His hand flaps in excitement, but he instantly deflates.
“This isn't a trick, i-is it?” You shake your head. He eyes you before giving in.
“Oh, alright!” He closes his eyes “W-w-whenever you’re ready, cupcake!”
Freddy stares at your gift wide-eyed when you present it to him. The only movement he makes is the twitching of his face plates. It’s a little unnerving to see him so speechless.
Tumblr media
“I-Is it… really f-for me?” He mutters. Before you can answer, he quickly pulls you into a gentle embrace. You felt the gift slip from your hands but relaxed once you saw Bon Bon had it. You return the embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against yours.
“I love you'' Freddy whispers. He shifts but doesn't let you go. Instead, he clings to you tighter. You looked up to meet large, lovestruck eyes fixated on you.
“I really, really love you, Y/N” ♥️
Oh Boy…

if greygold did sided with the emperor during the confrontation between them and orpheus and failed to convince lae'zel to stand down, forced to fight her, how would greygold feel? would they come to resent the emperor after everything?
What a delightfully pain-inducing question~ Greygold likes to think they're less taking sides and more like- Refereeing. Trying to de-escalate the murder vibes in the room. And even though the dramatic music would be ramped up to an 11, Greygold would be just as delusionally optimistic fighting Lae'zel as they were fighting The Emperor. At least this time, they have more AC than a tarrasque so-
Tumblr media
Greyg can hold their ground longer this time.
This half-orc has got enough wisdom to understand this is a tough decision for Lae'zel. It's neither of their faults for sticking to their values, friendship and duty and what not, and Greygold only hopes Lae'zel won't hold it against them if they both survive this.
Besides never fighting babe because they love her, wearing the share-pain lover's rings would also have Lae'zel insta-win if Greygold actually fought back.
Anyway the thing that probably would've actually broken Greygold is if they were able to escape the dragons' mass destruction of Baldur's Gate via a particularly last-minute planeshifting squid, but not their friends. But resent the squid? Nah. I think they'd only resent themselves for not being strong enough to keep all their friends alive. BUT ANYWAY THIS REALITY IS WHAT GREYGOLD THINKS EMPS ASSUMED WOULD'VE HAPPENED. Greygold's own counterargument to that theory:

Gosh, do I love discovery writing. The freedom. The sense of play. The way you have to hold the material lightly and follow where it leads, never being afraid to scrap things that don't work or to rewrite to emphasize things that do. You have the fun of discovering the story you're writing rather than the frustration of being unable to capture the ideas in your head. This way might wind up taking ages, but it makes the writing process such a joy.

Chapter 419 Analysis or "How to make allies not pawns" a helpful guide from League of Villains (part 2)
This is now a second part of Tomura character analysis.
With chapter 419 being probably our last time seeing Tomura for a while, since we need to learn what happened with Aizawa now is time to remember that not only bad things exist it Tomura's life.
Warning of spoilers to the whole manga to the point of chapter 419! All of the warnings from My Villain Academy side of manga are applicable
So like... mentions of death, killing other people, manipulation, emotional abuse and many more!
This is Part 2 - See here for Part 1 of this depressing mess
With AFO being so sure that he knows better and actually controlled every single part of Tenko's life creating a Symbol of Fear without any redeeming qualities or even hope for saving after he destroys him. There's one thing that AFO still doesn't understand about Tomura and never did - and that's his allies, or the League of Villains that he created.
Even Kurogiri, being a Nomu who's views do not stray from what AFO thought was important didn't exactly understand what did Tomura think about his allies quick to assume that he thought of them as pawns all the was back in the Training Camp arc. With Tomura making game examples to explain the situation, he still didn't think of LoV as just pawns on a desk, like AFO does.
Tumblr media
At the time of USJ arc there weren't many people Tomura called this, which could make you wonder how much it was just AFO's plan rather than Tomura's with him never worrying about those other villains yet getting so worked up over losing Nomu not only because he was strong enough to defend him from All-Might, but treating his defeat as something that must be avenged.
And that was long before Stain even entered the picture, the first of three people who greatly affected Tomura's view of his own motives alongside AFO's manipulation of literally everything else.
Tomura was terrified of fighting All-Might seconds before this and yet as this goes on it's becoming more noticeable - Tomura doesn't care for his own fear or worries as long as he's fighting for someone else's good. Not so different from how Izuku is ready to disregard himself for the sake of others, resulting in many injuries and being so close to dying so many times.
It never was a secret that Tomura is highly dependent on others to keep himself from losing confidence, or even will to fight, getting either too anxious to continue without anyone's reassurance.
Tumblr media
And while AFO's "help" was mostly given only with some kind of lesson as we saw in "Tomura Shigaraki: Origin", with AFO literally sitting there, saying how Tenko is weak for not killing but showing some restrain instead suffering himself, never actually helping or comforting him. Only offering what he deemed nessesary for his own plan of making Tenko kill those thugs not caring that he's feeling sick from those hands.
But in USJ it's not AFO who's there with Tomura, it's Kurogiri, who was shown to still have some care that Shirakumo had that even Aizawa and Mic couldn't argue that it's similar to how Shirakumo couldn't just leave a kitten in the rain. No matter the responsibility that it would bring with taking a little one in.
A helpless little kitten that didn't get the help it needs from anyone else. Sounds way too familiar.
This never was a direct order from AFO other than he needs to "tend and protect" for Tomura, which can mean anything from just looking out when Tomura's sick, or protect him from any tread like someone trying to kill him.
Not helping him getting over his anxiety to fight or helping him and guiding him to do better as a leader of the League calming him if it got out of control. Which is somewhat opposite to the way AFO deals with Decay and Tomura's temper - letting him destroy anything even the hands that he gave him, just offering new ones when he succeedes and never really caring for his pawns, he can always get new ones.
And surely not asking if Tomura's well the first thing while talking to Heroes.
Tumblr media
Which then leads us back to how Tomura never viewed anyone that he chose as pawns calling them his allies, with the word '仲間' which can even be translated as friends in needed context, but usually used as comrade or ally when Tomura says it. And the same thing is usually translated as "friend" when used by Twice.
In any case Tomura never once doubted his allies since he saw them as reliable, even if his first meeting with Toga and Dabi went so wrong that Kurogiri had to stop them from killing each other.
Tumblr media
Up to the point of Training Camp AFO describes as him teaching Tomura to be independent which was at that point too far from the truth than he thought. If Tomura begging for AFO to leave with them is any indicator he actually was even less independent after All-Might almost caught them, making him doubt his own worth as a leader. Even if AFO's defeat finally let him think and wonder about himself and his past.
AFO believed that Tomura just knowing how to recruit people would suddenly make him great at using those new "pawns" which was proven wrong by Overhaul no so long after that. Showing how Tomura believed the same thing AFO did as well, fully trusting his judgement of anything including himself, all the while parroting what AFO says without fully understanding what it means.
Tumblr media
Only after losing both Magne and Mr. Compress arm does Tomura slowly start making progress in becoming someone more than AFO tells him to do. Even if as we see in part 1 it used Decay as the ground to make it stable since he believed it was his quirk. And yet.
Even if Tomura didn't simply instruct his allies how to choose who to recruit, he never blamed them for it. On the opposite, when Twice was hard on himself after bringing Overhaul to them Tomura just looked at them for the first time without a hand on his face, or even on himself at all, showing how he trusts them as much as he would trust himself and believes that they can do it.
Tumblr media
Taking off hands of his family would mean not relying on the conflicting feelings that they bring into the picture, something AFO would very much dissaprove, since he was now like an equal to everyone in LoV instead of being above them. He
And with this instead of making them blindly trust his decisions and following him from fear or adoration like people had been following AFO or Overhaul, he instead was an equal to them both in failure and victory that wasn't even all that guaranteed yet.
Tumblr media
Each one of them had their own somewhat selfish goal that just seemed like they were just using each other without any worry being each other's pawns. Or maybe that's just how AFO would see them.
Tumblr media
Yet it doesn't explain why did Toga care for Twice's trauma response of not having his mask on, since he already did his part and all that they both needed to do was done. But LoV was never about following orders or giving them, expecting for the pawns to follow without question. It was about a leader of the group that would stand up for his allies while allowing them full freedom, except when they needed to also accept that something is needed to be done for their own sake.
Like following Overhaul for a while all for cutting off his hands leaving him with nothing. Did that sound like something reasonable to do? No! They literally lost their chance at having sushi instead of just living at some abadoned building all the while occasionally searching for money or food, stealing and killing just to survive all while Tomura was just... waiting.
Tumblr media
Nothing was really stable at the start of what we call My Villain Academia and yet no one from the LoV left while their state was... bad at the very least. No matter how AFO was teaching Tomura he was still left mostly waiting for something to happen rather than doing something to change the situation himself.
Sure, Tomura now was a famous leader of League of Villains that suddenly needed to be stopped rather that underestimated like before. But that was in the future, now LoV was laying low on funds and slowly Tomura showing his face became the norm, with him usually never wearing hands around LoV.
Tumblr media
And with Tomura becoming more and more comfortable around LoV, the LoV itself was becoming more like a place that had one core value that accepted anything else added without anyone wondering about the past of others, like Compress said. Just some selfish people, who still followed their own needs first.
And yet somehow Toga, who joined just because she loved Stain and disliked how life was too hard found her place in the LoV alongside Twice who just needed to be trusted and trust in return. If Tomura only followed what AFO deemed to be the best way to lead no one would actually feel like they're accepted in the LoV as much as they were.
Tumblr media
Goal or no goal Tomura succeeded even without having the whole world at the palm of his hands by just never pressing anyone to actually follow him - if they wanted to they could've just left here and there, but since they chose to follow he did what he thought was the obvious best - let his allies do what they wanted.
Which was okay for someone like Toga or Dabi who were either already comfortable by just being allowed to be themselves or being free to plan their own things for their own goals.
Tumblr media
But not exactly that for Spinner. Who was instead literally searching for someone to show him what to do, not so different from Tomura, who still only followed whatever 'his Sensei' deemed worthy for him to look into, like letting Kurogiri go find unknown "power" that AFO left along with contact with Doctor.
And while Spinner was not fine with still being hollow even while following Tomura pretending that it's the same thing as following Stain... all it took for him to look differently at how exactly was Tomura thinking was the last real "barrier" that there was - Tomura basically spilling his whole backstory and motivations mostly for LoV to listen to, since Doctor was just testing Tomura's will all according to AFO's plan.
Tumblr media
And after that it didn't took too long for Spinner to now follow Tomura, even if it was still not the time to really see the 'warped horizon that was waiting for them'. And yet in times where Tomura still showed some doubt over his decisions - that one old trait of his showing up like it was always at the back of his head not so different from USJ, only thing changing that Tomura got better and better at not letting his emotions control him so easily.
Since the price of that would literally be lifes of his allies.
Tumblr media
And neither that or using their emotions to his own benefit was ever in his plans, contrast to AFO manipulating Tomura to do just that. Letting his emotions consume him completely just for his own goal and for his own sake. But as a person who was so familiar with this Tomura still was adamant at NOT allowing something like this to happen to his friends allies.
Effectively creating a bond between all six of them, including Toya that in the end kept them together until the very final arc, with Spinner keeping what Tomura would've thought and with him waking up and calling Machia to get LoV first and foremost Spinner did understand their's leader wishes, as well as Twice's who literally died for his friends.
Tumblr media
With all that happening in the War arc the moment AFO returned with both being in control of Tomura's body and just abadoned anything that Tomura would care for like leaving Mr. Compress and Machia behind just to punish him for not getting OFA or not even caring to show any actual respect for Tomura's wishes. Instead showing how little he actually cared for anything but his own good.
But while AFO made so many pawns that he could change like gloves at any given moment, threating them and manipulating them with his power and quirks, Tomura only had 6 allies who stayed after AFO was caught and who were willing to die just to live the life they wanted.
And AFO couldn't give them that.
Tumblr media
Even if Decay isn't Tenko's quirk and even if he has so much guilt for killing without it being a little bit justified by it...
LoV still followed him as a person who allowed them to live as they please and so what they want, not some all-powerfull overlord but an ally and a leader who had his flaws and fallings.

DCAtober Day 20: Trapped
Words: 2,000+ Summary: The daycare is on fire, and you don't know where the attendant is
The daycare is already being consumed by the fire when you get there.
You’d held out some semblance of hope that maybe it would have been protected by the many doors between it and the basement. That since it was basically a fortress, it would stay unharmed, at least long enough for you to run in, grab Sun, and run out.
Instead, you’re greeted with a roaring fire, already eating away at the netting around the soft play area. The stars that Moon had hung from the roof in party room hallway have dropped onto the charred carpet, piles of star shaped ash blocked by the rapidly approaching flames. One of the jungle gyms, the one furthest from you, has already been crushed by one the beams holding the nets up from the roof.
“Sun!” You shout. “Where are you?”
There is no response.
Going down the steps and through the door was a bust. If you had to guess, you’d say the fire had breached the daycare through the door in Kids Cove, the only part connected to the atrium. Luckily, the slide was still intact. You just had to hope it would remain that way long enough for you to get in and out again.
The lights flicker, and then go out, leaving you with no light but the torch at your belt, and, well, the fire. It must have eaten away at the power switches below, cutting off any power that would have been diverted to the daycare.
You grab your flashlight and switch it on, sweeping the beam around to regain your bearings. The slide remains unscathed, the bright letters beckoning you to slide into fun.
You’d seen this slide so many times before. Never like this.
Before you can second guess yourself, you jump down the yellow tunnel and land on your feet in the ballpit, scrambling out as part of the metal grid on the ceiling crashes down at the other end, where the castles are, and allow the flames to creep into the “river”.
Some parts of the soft play area have been set alight as the fire finished with the netting, and has jumped onto the plush matted floor. The security desk is already a husk, with frayed wires sparking dangerously bright, still active thanks to the generator below the desk.
You couldn’t focus on that right now. “Sun!” you yell, your hands cupped around your mouth. “Moon! Are either of you here?”
There’s no response yet again. Another part of the roof drops, thankfully near the party rooms and not down where you are. “SUN!”
It’s hard to hear anything over the crackling of the fire, but you swear that just for a moment you hear a quiet groan coming from the collapsed play structure. Parts of it are covered in orange flames, but one corner remains intact, one with a yellow tube the kids liked to hide in for hide and seek.
You sprint over, doing your best to ignore the fact the other outer structure is creaking and moaning as the supports start to dribble onto the ground. You reach the tube as it crashes to the ground, the reverberation making you trip and fall over one of the round tubs that Sun liked to stack.
The other tubes have been knocked over, which does not help your state at all, because it meant Sun hadn’t stacked it up before you came.
You stumble over to the structure, scouring it desperately, and would breathe a sigh of relief when you catch sight of Moon’s hat on the floor if not for the fact that he’s pinned to said floor with a metal beam.
The beam is resting across his chest, crushing one arm below it while the other lies lifeless beside him. He’s scrabbling with his legs, trying to slip out from below it, but finding no purchase. Despite their immense strength, he’s unable to lift it.
“Moon!” you begin to pull the play structure away, thanking the lord that corporate was cheap enough to build it with metal poles light enough for you to chuck them away without too much effort. He looks up at you, red pupils finding yours.
“It’s past your bedtime,” he cackles, glitching halfway through the sentence and spasming.
“Shut up,” you command, continuing with your excavation job until you have enough space to focus on how you’re gonna get the beam off of Moon.
“Rulebreaker.”
“Is that seriously your biggest concern right now?” Something crashes behind you. You don’t look to see what.
Moon, despite whatever the hell is wrong with him, seems to acknowledge you’re right, and shuts up.
You grunt as you push against the beam, straining under the weight, but it barely moves an inch. You kick it in frustration, swearing and hopping on one foot after feeling the effect on your toes.
Moon follows you with his eyes. “What?” you say aggressively, returning to your attempt to get the beam off.
“Go.”
“No.” You continue your efforts.
“Go, now.” Moon looks at the fire that is much closer to you than it was before. Despite the mats in the daycare being coated in fire resistant covers, they can’t hold out forever. “Not safe in here.”
“What about you two, dumbass?” You use the floor as leverage to press your back against the beam, groaning with effort.
“Go.”
“I’m not leaving you.”
“You will die.” The fire is getting closer. It’s lighting up Moon’s face.
“So will you.”
“Not like you will.” Moon fixes his gaze on you. “You will die in agony.”
“Can you shut up and help me get this beam off?”
“Can’t.” You look at his lifeless arm. “Connection severed.” Your back is starting to sweat.
“What if I restore it?”
“Takes too long. Go.” Part of the ceiling collapses to your left.
“No.” You switch positions so your on his other side, sorting through the ripped wires and sockets poking out of his shoulder joint. It’s getting too bright for your comfort. The smoke is beginning to make you cough.
“Pointless. Leave us.”
“I’m not.” You say through gritted teeth as you begin to twist wires together. “Leaving you.” You cough, choking on the embers. Your face is getting hot. The metal is starting to warm to your touch. You can hear Moon’s fans despite the noise of the fire, attempting to cool his body down.
“Stupid.”
You ignore him, plugging rubber coated wires back into his shoulder joints, and using the tape that’s patching up the play mats to hold it in place. Once again, thank god for Fazbear being cheap. If they had fixed the mats while the daycare was out of order, you’d be screwed.
Moon’s finger twitches. Your brow beads with sweat. You tape up a few bare wires, knowing they won’t hold for long, but what other option do you have. His pinky moves. His elbow bends and unbends. Your skin is getting uncomfortably hot.
There’s still a few wires without partners, but the press of your palm to the metal beam tells you there’s not enough time to figure out where they go. You jam Moon’s arm into the socket and lock it in place, securing it with the last of the shitty tape.
“Moon-”
It’s not Moon anymore. It’s Sun. The fire is so close that it’s not dark enough for Moon to stay out anymore, which may have made the situation worse, because now you’re going to have to find a way to get them out and calm him down at the same time.
“Oh, my goodness!” Sun cries, wriggling as he takes stock of the situation. “We really are stuck? I thought… But… oh Moony!”
“Sun!” You have to yell for him to hear you, but the effect is instant. He locks onto you like you’re a raft, and he’s a drowning man, which you guess is the right reaction in this moment.
“Please! Please get us out! Please, friend!”
“I know, I know, Sunny.” You point to his shittily repaired arm. “I need you to help me get this off.”
“Yes! Yes, I can do that.” Sun tests the arm out, using some of the precious time you have quickly ticking away to get it to operate under his control. The heat has gone from uncomfortable to unbearable, making your skin ache and sting.
“I’m going to lift it now,” you say, reminding him that, hey, you really have to go like right now. Sun nods firmly and begins to lift the beam, while you do your best to help.
The arm strains, and you swear you can hear a wire or two rip again (because Sun falters slightly when that happens). More parts of the roof begin to rain around you, falling on the fire and biding you precious time as the flames have to consume the metal to continue to advance.
Somehow, you’ve both managed to lift the beam enough for Sun’s other arm to slip out and be freed. It’s definitely seen better days, but the wiring isn’t exposed, and he can move it somewhat well, so he enlists it to aid you in the mission. Part of the outer casing is slightly melted, as is one side of his faceplate, but it’s working. Your hair is singing, and his rays are retracted into his head to stop them from being set alight as fire dances dangerously close.
With the extra strength, Sun grunts and shoves it off of his body, letting it clang onto the ground. You pull him up instantly, jumping away from the flames and retreating to the center of the daycare.
Okay. Okay, one step in your absolutely shit plan was done. What now?
Sun is staring wide eyed at the daycare. There is no resemblance between this room and what it once was. The playplaces are collapsed, the walls and party rooms and blackened with ash and scorched, and the netting has come crashing down like a spider web of fire.
“Friend,” he says softly, and you have to strain to hear it over the roaring and your thoughts. “Why are you here?”
“For you,” you respond, searching for any escape you could take. He places a shaking hand on your shoulder.
“You could die,” he gets out, horror evident on his face as he realises what situation you’ve put yourself in.
“Is there still a tunnel in the theatre?”
“Friend!” Sun grabs your arms with two hands, squeezing you much harder than a robot with two barely functioning arms should be able to. “You have put yourself in direct danger! You may die! You shouldn’t have come here!”
“You two were in here!” You shoot back angrily, still looking around the playmats of you. “I wasn’t going to leave you!”
“We’re robots. We won’t respond the same as you do to fire.”
“You’d have died, Sun!” You shout, finally looking at him. “Stop saying ‘robots’ like your life means less than mine! I wasn’t going to leave the two of you to become melted endos!”
“YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED OUTSIDE!”
“I’m not dealing with this right now!” You counter, pointing to a gap in the flames where they’ve burnt themselves out. “Look! We have to get to the theatre.”
Sun is standing in the middle of the daycare, wide white eyes staring blankly out into space. He seems to be at a lost. “I… I can’t find my fire protocols.”
“What?”
“The fire protocols. They have the escape routes listed. I can’t…”
“Then we’ll figure it out!” You grab his arm. “Come on, Sun, we have to go!”
He looks around him again, an utterly hopeless expression on his face. “I don’t…”
“Sun!”
He takes your hand and leads the way through the fire, walking like he’s in a daze. His pants catch alight at one point, and you have to smack it out with a charred piece of playmat. He doesn’t say anything as you fight through the fire, and maybe later, you’d wonder why.
For now, the daycare is on fire, and you still need to find a way out.

I know the fandom tends to see Five Pebbles as a sad, self-hating, angsty bug boy but, I struggle to agree with the fandom depiction.
I think a lot of characters in Rain World care a lot about each other, I think they care too much. That's why it's such a tragedy.
Pebbles falls to that too. I think he cares, a lot, it's tough to see but it's there.
Take a look at the bug maze convo - "FP: So why do we continue? We assemble work groups, we ponder, we iterate and try. Some of us die. It's not fair." He clearly realises that there's problems, he realises they're working on something that ultimately does not matter, and they're all stuck doing that. "It's not fair" Its not and he wants to do something about it, he ain't just gonna stand around and keep working on this pointless problem. They don't deserve to be stuck working like this forever.
Problem is, just like Suns, everyone is still working on the problem, and for what purpose? Look at Sky Islands pearl 3 read by Pebbles - "Should we reject a way out of this maze, on the mere principle that escape itself is forbidden?" They are all stuck and no one is doing anything. Gold pearl read by Pebbles - "I need to fix this, and try again. If I can just reproduce Sliver of Straw's results, they will understand." And that's why he's so adamant on solving the problem, if they can all understand that "hey the solution is right here, we can stop now, we can do whatever we want" then they'd all be free. I think he sees how unfair all this is, and how everyone has given up to simply just working on the problem because what else are they supposed to do. He sees all that and wants to help, if he can find the solution then he'd help everyone, and he does these dumb risky things because if he succeeds then it'll all be worth it.
He loves his sister and he loves his friends, and he cares about all the other iterators and even the scugs that pass through. And its all such a tragedy because despite all this love and care we still watch everything fall apart and crumble. It was never fair for any of them.

You guys ever think about how Sabo still held onto the like symbol of his family? The one he showed to the Ramen place so he and his brothers could get in a private room. And the same symbol that’s proudly postered on his belt buckle? I don’t mean to bully him but it seems kinda stupid to me that he was trying to avoid his family but wore their symbol for proudly…unless.
Do you think. That is was because he wanted to be found?
I’m not saying he wanted to be torn away from his brothers and ripped from the place he really considered home. But you gotta remember, Sabo and Ace had been building that treasure for five years. SINCE THEY WERE FIVE. Sabo was five years old when he ran away from home because he didn’t feel loved. That he didn’t feel seen.
Do you think he had hoped that they would form a search party and look for him back then? That they would see the symbol on his belt and scoop him up and tell him they were so worried and they missed him so much. That they actually did love him. Do you think it hurt at first when they didn’t. When he was just… alone. Having to learn by himself how to survive in the grey terminal by himself at the ripe age of FIVE YEARS OLD
Imagine how much more it would have hurt to see Stelly five years later. To know an act that he had originally hoped would finally get him the love he dreamed of. Got him replaced…
Because I think about that.
