"Option 2, I go alone and either lie about my fake boyfriend and make me look like the dumbass with a bad boyfriend." You list, middle finger up and your brother just 'mhm's you.

"Or option 3, I go alone and tell the truth about my fake boyfriend and beleft as the crazy one what has a crush on the groom." You list your last spource, thumb up and your borther side eyes you, seriously doubting if you are not joking right now.

"Or option 4, you get a date." He says, putting his phone aside as you just throw some old used hoodie at him.

"You know..." he starts, sprinkling some salt over them and blowing. "Changbin's always there."

This weird af long ass famfic that has been sitting in my drafts for a year now, where the reader is trying to help Enhypen's Jay out of his toxic rlationship but mf doesn't cooperates.

His heart was out there in the freezing cold as a never ending storm seemed to shake it, beat it over and over again, every single day being less like the noble and sweet heart it once was and instead turning into a vulnerable and insecure heart that didn't knew what actual love felt like. For three years and four months, for fucking 1272 days his heart has been broken over and over again like it was never made to be actually loved.

"Where are you going now?" Jake asks when he can keep on ognoring the fact you two are walking on the same direction. Making you snap out of your mind and look back at him.

"I'm going for ice cream with Ni-ki."

"No." He says, stopping on his steps to ook back at you, a few meters behind. "I'm..." He starts, and you get what he is trying to say immediately.

"No... Damn it." You mutter, keeping on walking and ignoring him, to which he did the same, walking a bit faster to piss you off. "Shit." You whisper to youself, walking at you own pace not to please him by hurrying your steps to catch him, you just would not.

forever hilarious to me that tennis is promoted as this prestigious highbrow big-brain sport when most tennis fans these days are like. yeah this is my favorite player. yeah i don't know why they're like that. yes they are stupid. no i will not choose somebody else.

#wta tennis #atp tennis #i feel like the era of...shall we say 'federer-esque' players is waning #which i think can in part be related to the loss of the one-handed-backhand #as the sport moves more toward a necessity for fitness and athleticism players do not put as much emphasis on 'art'#which imo is fine! i think the 'art' of tennis is too protected in some ways. which i maybe will expand on later.#but i think it's too much for the tags of a (mostly) silly post #but yeah you can hear a lot of commentators touch on it #i know nadal even said something abt it recently(ish)#but i think as tennis is gradually less associated with this abstract 'image' (e.g. the obsession with federer's 'grace' and 'class')#players are coming in thinking 'this is a physical battle and i am going to win' and very much leaning into the *competition*#which not to say that they're ignoring/denying the mental aspects at all because i actually do think many players are very strategic/aware #and in truth i think many tennis players ARE actually very smart #but i also think it's less apparent because more and more players are able to just hit the shit out of the ball and call it a day #which leaves you with the occasional shot/point/game/set/match etc where it seems like they don't know what the fuck they're doing #but you think about most sports which evolve in phases #it's very normal for certain player profiles to become more or less popular as the landscape of the sport changes #or as new techniques/strategies are developed #or as new communities/populations become interested!#extreme example but think of like. high jump's fosbury flop. that was one guy!#one guy who changed the entire fucking sport! so it makes perfect sense that tennis is continuing to evolve #given how many unique players have come and gone #and how much the sport is changing externally as well as internally #anyways. this got out of hand but i love sports and i love tennis and i love my brainless players.#this whole post was inspired by rewatching sabalenka v boulter and aryna completely missed an overhead by like five feet. lol #love her <3

how is it only tuesday 😭😭

#GUYS i cannot do this five days a week until summer’s end what the fuck. this is just way too much time to spend in one place #personal #the engineering chronicles #<- leigh joins the corporate world edition!!#also i have yet to find an appropriate pair of shoes that fits me which is definitely contributing to how horrifically long the days #feel. going shoe shopping tmrw hopefully so maybe after that it will be okay </3 #i somehow left all of my nice shoes that fit me at home apparently the only dressy shoes i have at my apartment are a pair of wedges that i #have affectionately dubbed my wood chipper shoes bc every time i wear them longer than an hour i want to throw them in a wood #chipper. obviously. anyway it turns out those aren’t allowed at my workplace bc only flat shoes are allowed. so then today my roommate #lent me a pair of her flats to wear instead but i think they are miraculously even worse than the wood chipper shoes. like the wood chipper #shoes Fit me technically it’s just the back of them are v stiff and never fail to tear up the back of my feet and also they’re raised #higher than is comfortable to wear for an hour let alone an entire day. but these just don’t fit at all my roommate told me they’re an 8 but #im 90% sure they’re actually a 7 based on a.) how swollen my toes are and b.) the WMS 7 that’s printed on the side of them. so. those #aren’t doing it for me either. idk what to wear tmrw 😭

MAYBE. IF THAT MUCH.#he was BIG mad that i was going the speed limit #and THERES A POLICE STATION LIKE RIGHT NEAR THAT AREA MY GUY IM NOT GONNA GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT RIGHT THERE LMAO ????#also im a rule follower usually so i do tend to go Exactly the speed limit fjfkdl #and maaannn that makes people SO fucking angry dhfjdl its impossible to drive Anywhere without having someone right on ur bumper #its so ridiculous like... that's not helping anyone ??? ur not getting to ur destination faster by riding up on somebodys ass ???? hewwo ???#ANYWAYS. i drove around the neighborhood and then went up the highway and thru some intersections and then into the main core of town #and then i got my dad to take over from there bc it was lunch hour and the core of town is a lawless land at the best of times #MY NERVES ARE FRIED. i need Guz to act as a weighted blanket or one of those pressure therapy vests for me LOL #im like... shaking fhdjsl that was far more than i thought we were going to do for driving today good lord #IM OKAY THOUGH I SURVIVED I DIDNT EVEN HIT A CURB OR ANYTHING #i think I've only hit a curb once so far in all my times driving and that was on my second time driving on a road i think #so pretty good track record... im a very careful driver fjdkdl i work so hard to be safe and drive smoothly #during my driving test the only thing the test guy had to critique was that i waited at an intersection when i could've gone #but the reason i waited was bc i wasnt sure i could make it across the traffic lane before the oncoming vehicle got to us #so it was like. a safe decision overall but a little too hesitant which can actually be unsafe fjdkdl #AUGH ANYWAYS SORRY FOR RAMBLING SM #driving stresses me out so bad and my lip is all raw now and i have so many physical stress symptoms the past few days fhfjdl #after tonight i should be able to calm down a bit hopefully fhfkdl theres a thing we're going to tonight thats been stressing me out so bad #but after tonight it'll be over and hopefully I can get myself settled down again fjfjdkl #dandy.cmd #vent //
