okay the subway HAS to be the new method of time travel/ jumping timelines- there’s a 2 second clip of five and lila in what looks to be the apocalypse but with a giant subway entry behind them !!!!

I'm so upset about Five and Lila's friendship being ruined. they had such a good platonic friendship!!! it was such a good arc too!!! the coworkers to enemies to reluctant allies to found family was such a good arc!!!!! they had such a good relationship!!! the banter, the vibes, the shared trauma!!!! it never needed to be romantic!!!! what was the point!?!

the worst part was that it was so obvious the writers were going to do it!!!! once they got stuck in the subway and the title of the episode was " Six Years, Five Months, and Two Days" (or something like that) I knew!!! and it hurt!!! everytime they showed them getting closer, I cringed!!! I was really hoping that I was wrong, but I wasn't!!!

i could totally see them getting closer. having six years to get over their past grievances with each other, to talk about the Commission and The Handler, to talk about their family being idiots. I could totally see them becoming more like siblings!!!! I needed more witty banter and them being chaotic besties, not whatever the fuck they were doing!!!!

also season 1 Five would never!!!! he would never do anything to harm his siblings unless he absolutely had to for their own good! he never hated his family, it was all a mask, a coping mechanism, so no one had to see that all he really fucking wanted was to keep his family safe!!!! the while point of season one was that Five disobeyed the Commission's orders to save his family!!!! so what was the point of fucking his brother's wife????

also!!!! Lila would never!!!! after all the shit her and Diego went through in season three??? all the lovey dovey shit!!! they would never get bored of each other!!!! maybe they would get bored of suburban life, but they would make it work!!!!! they would go on trips, or take up boxing, or something other than hate each other!!!!! THEY HAVE KIDS TOGETHER, LILA WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO HER KIDS!!! not after what happened in her own childhood!!!

the age gap between them is horrendous!!!!! she's fifteen years older than him!!!!!! "Oh, well, Five is 73," or some other bullshit you might be saying. DOESNT MATTER!!!!! Either way one of them is way too old for the other!!!!! Lila, physically. Five, mentally.

He'll go to the bathroom to clean up and you'll quickly follow him

"Are you okay?"

He's surprised by your presence and the fact that you followed him

He'll then feel bad about his feelings before

You would never hurt him and he knows that, so why would he even feel that way? You've never done anything to justify that feeling

"Um... Nothing, I accidently- uh, crushed this thing- You know... Strength issues..."

You'll help him clean up/patch up and it makes Luther guilty and he momentarily forgets about the previous feeling... At least until next time

Deigo Hargreeves & Lila Pitts

What a duo

Lila definitely filled Diego's head with delusions and will convince him to do something stupid [Like kill the person flirting w/ you] while she hides the body

Lila takes it better, but inside she's more pissed than Diego

Diego is mad at you and won't talk to you. You'll have to profusely apologize and prove to him you care, otherwise he won't speak to you. Trust, he can hold a grudge

Lila, on the other hand, is very extroverted and will go over to where you are and talk to the person who was flirting with you

There's is definitely tension in the air, even though it doesn't show on her face

She's all smiles and happy, but it doesn't show in her eyes

Deigo is mad, but Lila sees it as an opportunity to manipulate you [She also wants a reason to kill somone]

You try and talk back and she'll bring up how sad it makes them when people flirt with you and she'll emotionally manipulate into feeling bad

You didn't like the person but... maybe she's right? I mean- you didn't exactly tell the person no or that you were taken, but you had asked them to stop.... Was that enough?

Allison Hargreeves

Oh, no no no nononononono

She is NOT letting that happen

The person who's flirting with you must have a death wish

She doesn't want to use her powers, but...

Well, she really has to fight the urge

She looks very sweet and kind, so she can just come into the conversation and play nice girl

She'll drag you off, talking about needing your help or something, while apologizing for taking you away [But she doesn't really mean it]

You won't even notice she's mad until you're alone

She'll accuse you of cheating or trying to leave her

You're taken by surprise, but don't even try and fight her, because she's in a very low/depressive state, so she'd be easy to push into doing something drastic

So, you'll have to wait until she feels better to confront her

Klaus Hargreeves

They already assume you don't love them, so this just fills this delusion they have

It really bums them out and they get super depressed

They get extra clingy whenever they get you alone

They're usually pretty clingy, so you don't think about it to much

Until, they start whining about the guy at the bar

They'll ask you if you like them [Flirter] more than them [Klaus]

You'll tell them no, but they don't believe you

They'll emotion manipulate you saying that you probably hate them and if you ever leave them, they'll kill themselves

Five Hargreeves

Someone flirting with you? Do they have a death wish??

Not afraid to kill a man or women. He doesn't care

The only issue is he'd never admit his jealousy. You have to confront him and at first he'll deny it, but if you keep pushing he'll get pissed and yell 'You know what- I am jealous! So what!?!'

You're surprised he admitted it, but that's the only time you're getting it

He'll deny saying it and gaslight you into thinking it never happened

He will kill them, he just needs a little time, which he has plenty of

It is bloody, gory and gruesome

No one will find the body, but he'll make sure you know the person is dead and it's all your fault

He'll make sure you never do it again because he hates this feeling and it bothers the hell out of him

Ben Hargreeves

He wasn't really having fun at the party, so when seeing someone hit on you, it just made his night worse

He's scared you'll realize that he's not good enough

He hates the icky feeling in his stomach and it only continues to grow

Though it does make the feeling subside when seeing you roll your eyes and push the person out of the way before heading towards him

It makes him giddy and smile; Like a school boy

The fact that you'd chose him over everyone else really fuels his obsession, so be warned

When you get to him, you complain about the person

"Did you see them?"

He'll pretend that he wasn't paying attention and you gasp, before sitting down and ranting about how stupid that person was

He practically has hearts in his eyes and he looks at you like you're the only person in the world, which to him you are

Viktor Hargreeves

He's annoyed, but he's not going to do anything drastic [Or at least he tries]

He wants to do something, but he doesn't really know what to do, because he's never had like a good relationship

He watches sadden from afar before wallowing in his own self pity

Though, after everything that has happened, he is a little bit more confident it just takes some working up before he can go over to you

He'll debate about it for a few though. Like he'll sit up, but quickly sit back down and do it over again until he finally gathers the courage to approach you

He'll finally approach you, thinking of what he's going to do as he approaches you, but when he finally approaches you he's still lost on what to do

He'll just act and kiss you infront of the person, which takes the flirter by surprise

The flirter will apologize and end up leaving you alone

You're surprised by Viktor's brazen behavior, but it's also kind of a turn on and he'll kiss you again before you can comment on it

Marcus Hargreeves

He doesn't get 'jealous'

That word isn't even in his dictionary

Well, that was until he saw a guy flirting with you

What is this feeling???

It's an icky feeling that he doesn't like it

He'll put an end to it quickly [Both the flirting and the feeling]

You're kind of taken aback when Marcus comes up to you and pulls you away from the conversation

He would have folded his way into the conversation, but he would have been passive aggressive

You try and ask him what's wrong, but he's quick to deflect the conversation

He'll push the feeling deep down and it'll come up when you both get into a fight

Sparrow! Ben Hargreeves

He's furious

If he wasn't busy nursing his drink, he probably would have knocked the guy out. Thankfully he's drunk and not sober

Though he can't help the thoughts in his mind... Violent thoughts

The thoughts will become a lot and he has to leave

He's mad at the person, but then he starts thinking and he suddenly becomes mad at you

How come you didn't tell them to back off????

He becomes slightly insecure but he fights that feeling and it becomes overcome with anger

He'll end up leaving without you, because he needs time to be alone and think

Though, this just makes his feelings worse. While he's drunk he's sad and depressed, but when he becomes sober, his emotions quickly turn to anger and he wants to confront you

So, when he sees you again he's anger has already been bubbling up and he blows up

You're taken aback and kind of scared because he's so mad and he's yelling and you can't even decipher what he's talking about

He needs some time to cool off, but he can't be alone, because his feelings will cool off

You'll go to another room while he cools off, so that he knows you're still around, but you're not alone together

He will eventually calm down and apologize for his behavior, but not with words, but like subtle actions, gifts, and such

Fei Hargreeves

You don't even know she's jealous, because she hides it so well

She's kind of scary looking, so no-one has approached her

She takes her jealousy pretty well and doesn't let it bother her

It just kind of rolls off her back

She's confident and knows who she is and what she wants, so she's not threatened by some nobody trying to hit on you

Though, if she sees you getting uncomfortable, she will step in

Thanks to her looks, they back off rather quickly

It's rather silly to her and she finds the whole thing stupid

She takes it the best and doesn't let it bother her

Sloane Hargreeves

She's a sweet girl and doesn't deserve to be sad

She's a hopeless romantic, so when she sees people flirting and being cute, she instantly is like 'Awww' until she realizes it's you

Then she's mad and her mind races with multiple different scenario

What if you leave her?

Oh god, what if you don't love her anymore?

What if you click with them so well that you think they're you're soul mate and you leave he-

She shakes her head, before standing up

She fixes her hair, before putting on her brightest smile and approaching you

She's very beautiful, so they person who was hitting on you will turn and flirt with her too

She'll become annoyed, because they were just hitting on you and now they're hitting on her? Were you not good enough for them???

Instead of being mad that they were flirting with you, she's mad they STOPPED flirting with you to flirt with her

You're incredible, so she's confused why they don't realize that

It's more of an annoyance

She doesn't think about it to much

She's probably the only one who WILL come up to you and interrupt your conversation in a rude way

If the flirter is rude to her she'll use her powers and pull you away from them

It all happens so fast, you don't even process it until you're back at the house

"What the hell was that???"

She doesn't even turn to you, but you do here her make a sound of confusion

Your brows frown, and you groan, "Why did you use your powers on that person"

"Why were you flirting with them?" Still she hasn't turned towards you

"I wasn't flirting with them!"

She keeps her cool, making brash accusations, which causes you to get angry and by the end of it she makes it seem like YOU are the crazy one

author’s note : THIS ONE’S KINDA LONG and there’s not too much interaction with five and (name), but the next part there’ll be more !! hopefully it doesn’t bore y’all too much,, happy reading ᡣ𐭩.

“what the fuck happened to you?” klaus asked, seeing the brunette walk into the hotel with scars and bruises all over his face and body. “don’t ask," he sighed heavily. five marched his way upstairs to their shared room. klaus and diego, who continued to sit down gave each other a puzzled look but decided to shake it off. five took a lengthy shower and put on some different clothes to lounge in, and after, he climbed back down.

"that little delinquent is your son?" five heard klaus ask their other brother in midst of a laugh, "allegedly my son." diego was quick to respond back. five took a mimosa from the counter as he listened to their conversation and walked his way to sit among the duo. klaus let out a hearthy laugh, "that's so funny!" he cackled. five turned to look at a pigging-down stanley,

"wait, who's.. who's the mother?" five asked him. "lila." diego again, responded quickly with the same dead-panned expression. five could feel the cold rush over his body, relieved from the heat of the sun (name) had inflicted on him. "excuse me?" klaus raised a brow in diego's direction.

five furrowed his brows at him in panic, "woah.. lila's here?"

"was. she dropped him off in my lap last night then bolted."

"i don't much care for that one." klaus gave a slightly disgusted look, swirling the straw in his own drink. "don't." diego pointed a finger at the man. "technically, she's family." five tilted his head. "she was trying to murder us, like, yesterday!" klaus cried, disgusted at both of them. "yeah, like i said, family."

after the whole conversation about viktor and marcus, five walked back to the counter to put his glass away and to grab something to eat. as he did so, the lights inside the hotel began to flicker. employees and visitors inside began to question and freeze until the light went back on again.

five shook his head, thinking it's nothing more than a power malfunction and continued to scavenge for his food.

klaus slowly crept his way towards him, "hey. what do you say we get outta here, huh?" he walked around his younger looking brother like a vulture. "take a little.. road trip."

five looked at klaus with the same furrowed brows, moving his eyes from klaus to the selections of entrees. "what are you talking about?" he asked. "i'm talking about a sojourn to the countryside." klaus moved his hands to get his attention. "you and me, the wind in our hair." he flipped his long brown hair sassily. "thelma and louise on the open road."

"you know they die in the end, right?" five let the corner of his lips slightly smile.

"holding hands,"

"living our best life, my little cherub!"

five scooped up some other things to put on his plate while klaus talked in his ear. "listen," klaus whispered. "i nearly died from luther's sleep farts last night." klaus continued to follow him around like a lost puppy. "we need to get out of here, get some fresh air!" —

"okay, i'll bite. why me, klaus?" five finally turned to face the taller man. "because you said, you said — you're retired, and that's what retired people do. and don't you deserve some fun?" klaus sang,

but five was too distracted by the missing lobsters in the fish tank across the counter. "there's no lobsters." five spoke. klaus hummed. "there were three lobsters in that tank a minute ago." klaus shook his head and rolled his eyes, "yeah, well, you know, maybe chet blended 'em into a morning smoothie." he teased.

five gave him an 'are you serious?' look before, "you're an idiot but, i'm in."

ben watched (name) walk into the hargreeves mansion with her apron over her arm, her nose still bloody, but she knew she didn’t look as bad as that five guy. ben looked at her up and down with a confused and cocky look on his face. “what?” she raised a brow at him, noticing his stare.

“you saw one of them.” ben pointed at her with a smirk. she giggled, “the time travel dude yeah.” she tossed her apron on the couch. “i still don’t see your reason for working at that dingy old place when were rich and famous, (nickname).” alphonso commented.

all her siblings sat on the couch, watching a movie. “i like interacting with the people there, so many stories, so many lives.” she spoke, ben making a gagging face. (name) threw an empty water bottle at him, “HEY!” ben caught it mid-air with one of his tentacles.

jayme slapped a newspaper roll on (name)'s head. "ow! what?" (name) shot daggers through her (eye color) eyes.

"me and alphonso are going to the pharmacy to grab snacks. care to join?" jayme leaned on the kitchen counter as she faced her little sister. "nah, i might go on a trip, being here around you guys makes me loose my sparkle." (name) displayed jazz hands before chugging down a bottle of orange juice.

"right. sparkle." jayme repeated with a quick chuckle. "just don't crash the car yeah? not like how sloane did." sloane furrowed her brows. "the curb wasn't there when i first looked!" sloane retorted as she melted in her seat.

(name) crossed her arms in annoyance against the teen boy beside her. before them was the ball of twine, five eagerly asked klaus to turn the car towards. “is this the sunshine that beat your ass to a pulp?” klaus pointed his finegr at (name). five rolled his eyes and slapped his hand away,

“what are you doing here!?” five exclaimed. “i needed time away from my siblings! don’t get your panties in a twist thinking i’m following you dipshit.” (name) let out a loud chuckle as they made eye contact, and their faces practically inches away.

klaus giggled, “if you guys start making out i’m going to start laughing.”

“shut up!” five yelled at klaus. “i mean, we could.” she sent him a flirtatious wink, klaus shared a laugh with her. “i like her. can we keep her?”

“no!” five rubbed his temple before taking klaus by the sleeve, “come on klaus were leaving.” five turned his back to the ball of twine and the young girl. “so soon!? this trip gets so boring alone, fives!” she yelled back, a wide smile plastered on her face. “she’ll be lonely five! she just said!” klaus fought back.

five turned back to (name). he should’ve said no, he should’ve told her to get lost. but why was he so hesitant to do so? why did it feel like he wanted her around?

“fine.” (name) smiled even wider, and hopped towards the brothers, “this is gonna be the best trip ever.” five again pointed a finger at her, “but if you try fighting either one of us, we’re leaving you on the streets, sunshine.” the brunette’s voice hinted with poison.

she kept the smile on her face, her hands up in defense. “i cross my heart.”

i need to talk about this i apologize so: SPOILERS for the umbrella academy season 4 1) jean and gene are the best, justice for jean and gene. me when crazy southwesterners. 2) I'M SO MAD ABOUT KLAUS. he was handled so awfully this season, left to die with almost everything unresolved, extra trauma, and all his character development reversed. not a word about dave, even though the first thing he reaches for in the box of umbrella stuff are his dog tags. biker gang scenes made me deeply uncomfortable. 3) FIVE AND LILA. five cares about his family so much, that's been established over three entire seasons. he wouldn't hurt diego by taking his wife. i hate when shows take this route for duos, let them be friends, they made great friends. even if five did have to have a romance arc (which he didn't), why not make it with someone who's not his sister in law? gross, especially to shoehorn it in after aidan was legal. hate it 4) previous relationships are completely ignored. to be fair, dave was forgotten about with no resolution after season two. but sissy, ray, and sloane? ray comes up once, sloane is mentioned in passing, sissy is forgotten about altogether. lila and diego are written completely out of character 5) six episodes was obviously not enough time to tell the story they wanted. i think if the season was the usual ten episodes it would have been drastically better and more fleshed out. durango and marigold could have been explained, the subway could have a reason at all, the new powers and janky marigold they drank could've been fleshed out a bit more. why is lila shooting lasers from her eyes? why did viktor's powers change colors? why is five warping to the subway in the first place?

anyway this season was all over the place. not canon. show ended after season two, they all went to therapy and viktor and sissy got married.

TUA and its inherent problem with bromance

I know this post won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I need to take it off my chest because it's been bothering me for a few days

Has anyone noticed which exactly are the existing bonds from the past seasons that were never addressed in the last one?

Let me mention them to you :

- Five and Diego

- Five and Klaus

- Klaus and Ben

- Ben and Diego

- Klaus and Diego

Now, why do I find this incredibly sad and slightly problematic? Because all of these bonds had very strong bromantic vibes (please let me emphasize this : I'm NOT talking about relationships or shipping, I'm strictly sticking to the definition of "an exceptionally tight, affectionate, male bonding relationship exceeding that of usual friendship") and none of them were even barely acknowledged.

All we got were Luther and Diego moments, cause they never really did have a strong bond, they are just a comic duo (which is to what they were both basically reduced to in this season), we had Allison and Klaus (safe cause girl/queer character), Allison and Lila (which came out of absolutely nowhere and while I thought it could be interesting, at not point was it explored) and Viktor and Ben (with Ben existing only to obsess over Jennifer, so another safe bet here).

Please feel free to disagree, but it really saddened me to see beautiful relationships between male characters, which bathed in this familial love and bond, being forgotten or shoved aside, only to concentrate on straight relationships with characters that we don't know (hi Jennifer, how I wish you were more than squid girl) or on cheating storylines (sorry Five and Lila, your story went in a way I could never be on board with).

Let's discuss Five and Lila because I need to vent urgently. They had a great relationship s2 and S3 which I found really entertaining and wholesome to watch. Like this twink of a boy and this badass woman running around trying to save the world and not strangle eachother? Cool!

But S4 Lila and Five... Thought it was kinda cute (in a platonic way) when they were investigating the Cleanse together and that they made a cool duo. Silly Diego for accusing Lila for cheating, she would never... Oh. Nevermind. 😃 Her and Five are a thing now.🥰🎀😃

Okay, all jokes aside, it's weird as hell for the two of them together because LILA, HEY, REMEMBER WHEN HE WAS LIKE THIS:

WITH HIS SCRAWNY KNEES AND SCHOOL UNIFORM?? Like yes, he's hot now, but woahh. Not to mention your adopted mum was hitting on him when he was this size too, weird AF.

AND FIVE? DID YOU FORGET THAT YOUR BROTHER LOVES THIS WOMAN?? THE BROTHER THAT YOU TRIED TO SAVE A BILLIOM TIMES FOR THE APOCALYPSE AND DEATH?

It's so bizarre that the writers thought 'yes, five needs a love interest so we'll use a character already ready as his love interest' completely disregarding the age gap (physically and mentally) and the fact that Lila and Diego are a thing.

And if I'm being completely honest... Lila and Five were cute together, all cottagecore and loveydovey. But it's weird as hell considering Lila knew Five was physically a minor and the fact he's mentally like 70 years old now. So I kinda get if you shipped them this season but the people who were shipping them in s2 and S3? Creepy AF, that's disgusting.

Honestly I don't like most of Tua canon ships (apart from Klaus and Dave, Allison and Ray and Sparrow Ben and Jennifer) all the other ones like Diego and Lila, Sloane and Luther, even Victor and Sisi jusy doesn't rock my boat, but Five and Lila is rockbottom.

Umbrella academy S4

Diego hargreevs has been my favourite character for the past 5 years so I HAVE to get this off my chest.

Ways that season 4 fucked up diego:

1. THE WHOLE LILA FIVE STORYLINE (that’s also a much muchh longer rant for another time)

2. Diego has always had such a strong (if not slightly weird) moral compass, backed by his need to be the hero. Season 1 diego was working with the police, season 2 diego spent the entire season trying to protect the president. Season 3 diego put everything into being a good dad to a kid randomly dropped in his lap. We saw NONE of that in season 4. Instead we he was the butt of every joke and seemed to suck at everything he tried to do.

2. The fat jokes,, it just didn’t make sense, it was sweet that he put on happy relationship weight, but the digs (including from his wife!!) did not sit well with me. ESPECIALLY when he looked the same and was ripped af in that CIA shirtless fight scene.

3. The lack of diego and klaus scenes.. they have been my favourite brother duo since the start,, I can’t believe we didn’t get even a single moment :(

4. We barely got to see Dad!Diego!!! After the way he was with stan, after what reggie said to him at the wedding,,,, I thought season 4 would show more of their home and him being a dad,,, we don’t even know the names of the TWINS

5. Diego not speaking spanish with his kids!!! We saw it season 3 how he wanted stan to know spanish,,, we should have gotten something here (Bonus points for the punjabi tho, as a punjabi myself that made me so happy)

6 Lila wearing the five bracelet//not liking bracelets,,, was a big token of their love NOT the bracelet diego made in the asylum???

7. Absolutely no resolution for the five lila story line. He never forgave five (five didn’t even seem sorry). I died (or stopped existing) hating one of his brothers, that makes me so sad (even though it was justified on his part)

8. His story having nothing to do with the main plotline!! And this is an issue I have with all the characters (klaus, the five lila thing, the whole luther and diego cia plot line) not only that, but his (and also klaus’) powers not being fully explored and used (this is something that bothers me every season).

There’s more but I’m too exhausted and disappointed. Feel free to add your own points.

when they have to work together, they are very good. just think, Five can easily guess that Lila is hiding something, like being the reason why your recent boyfriend suddenly disappeared. would anyone else notice? I don’t think so. 

and there’s Lila. she’s annoying him and getting on Five’s nerves a little too much, Five already have to deal with another 6 mentally unstable adults that still acting like a kids and add to this all Lila? that always trying to strike him back because of their past? this man is done. 

Lila may try to make fun of Number Five all the time, but she’s not stupid. 5 is literally a legend for the entire Commission. Yes, he is the founder, but above all, he is one of the best assassins in the entire timeline, for everyone he should be an example of exactly how to do their job properly. Lila hates Five for killing her parents, and of course she spent a lot of time dreaming about how exactly she would get revenge on him. but if you plan to kill someone, then you need to know them better.

“Ha! I know it has to be you, little psycho,” Lila smirks proudly, her hands on her hips as she looks at him. “I mean, it`s easy to guess.”

Five rolls his eyes in annoyance, turning away from this crazy woman. “I’m glad you finally found the opportunity to show off your intellect, Lila,” he says, pinching the bridge of his nose. “But right now I’m busy if you didn`t notice.”

“Why won’t you just ask for help, huh?” she shrugs, sitting down on the dresser.

“What?” he frowns slightly, looking confused.

“Ask for help,” she says again. “Do you want me to spell that? A-s-k f-o-r h-”

“I don’t understand why would you even need to get into this mess and helping me.” he wipes sweat off his forehead, sighing softly when takes a quick look at her before going back to work.

She pauses for a moment, thinking about his words. Lila would never get into something like that for Five Hargreeves, no, never in her life. But she would never loose the opportunity to prove something to Number Five, who has so many fans inside the Commission that it’s makes Lila sick.

“So do you need my help or not?” now she is the one who sounds annoyed, but rather offended. “I won’t ask twice, jumpy guy.”

“You know what?” his gaze softens and he tosses towards Lila a sponge with a pair of rubber gloves. “You can actually be very helpful sometimes. Now come on, we don’t have much time until they come home.”

Lila catches everything quickly, smiling widely again, after which she jumps off the drawer and walks towards Five while wearing gloves. She accidentally step on a pool of blood on the floor, and her boots leaving several red dirty prints on a perfectly clean surface.

“Oops.”

“I just fucking ended cleaning here-”

They get along well with each other when it is good for both of them, but not when it comes to the fact that they have to share you. No, don’t even think that they will somehow find a way where they are not going to kill each other, as soon as one of them cross the line and decides to find their own separate way with you and only with you. If Lila will try to steal all your attention from Five - bad for her. If Five will try to do the same - bad for him. It also means problems and for you.

So basically we doing this cool “the one who makes the calls” and “the one who kills” trend. Well, if we going to compare Lila and Five with Billy and Stu there is no doubt that Lila will be as Stu and Five will be as Billy.

Lila can do both roles, not gonna lie, but she really loves those long and intimidating, somehow silly conversations with you while talking on the phone, her cute attempts to scare you, make you tremble and run around the house trying to close all the windows and doors, and it’s actually makes her laugh, especially knowing how useless it is , because come on, we all know that 5 can just teleport wherever he wants and Lila can just… do the same.

Lila sometimes forget that calling at your phone in the middle of the night is an attempt to make you afraid so you’ll be more pliable and when you’re on the verge of going crazy, because almost every day you hear two different types of voices that calls you, one of which threatens to make you suffer if you continue to ignore them, and the second flirts with you, only to say something weird and scary at the end.

You’ve been wearily watching some random horror movie on your TV screen. In fact, you had already lost the countdown a long time ago, you were tired and wanted to go to bed, your eyes were barely open, but part of your waking consciousness could distantly hear the lines from the movie.

An unexpected phone call makes you jump up and wake up immediately, picking up your phone, only to find out it was some unknown number. You decide to answer this call and put the phone to your ear, expecting to hear someone’s familiar voice, thinking that it could be your friends who wanted to prank you or one of your work colleagues but from a different phone number.

“Hello?” you speak uncertainly.

“Hello, who is this?” the voice asks.

“Who are you trying to reach?” you shift slightly in your seat, rubbing your eyes.

“I don’t think it matters now, doll,” the unknown chuckles softly. “You have a pretty cute voice by the way.”

You scoff at their comment, finding this amusing how they tried to flirt with you. “Uh, thanks. But I’m kinda busy with something right now like watching a movie.”

“Is that so?” the stranger pauses briefly before continuing to speak. “What kind of movie?”

You hum softly and tilt your head slightly towards the TV, trying to remember what you watched. “It’s Halloween, so I’m definitely watching scary one.”

You can hear the voice of an unknown person laughing softly at your sarcastic response.

“You’re must be really brave little one to watch this movies all alone at night, huh?” the person asks. “So what’s your favourite scary movie, pretty?”

You yawn in the first half of the person’s sentence and don’t really paid attention to their words, stretching slightly, trying wake up fully and concentrate on the dialogue again, taking the cassette, reading the title of the film. “Uh…Saw, I think?”

“Good choice, this one was so bloody,” you hear their cheering. “So, you have a boyfriend?”

A slight smile appears on your face and you rise from the couch, walking towards the kitchen, still holding the phone in your hands.

“No, I don’t have one,” you answer, playing with a strand of your hair. “Why, you wanna ask me on a date?”

“Maybe I want,” they say and you sighs softly at their attempts. “But you still didn’t told me your name, love.”

“Why do you need to know my name?” you ask nonchalantly as you pop a bag of popcorn into the microwave.

“Because I want to know at who I’m looking right now.”

You freeze in place. It could have been a simple prank in an attempt to make you scared, but still, it really worked on you. “What did you say?”

“I said that I really want to know with who I’m talking-”

Lila doesn’t have time to finish and you immediately end the phone call, which makes her almost break the device she is holding in her hands.

“Damnit!” she swears, sighing loudly in displeasure. “This time was so damn close!”

Lila’s complaints makes Five smile smugly to himself and that only irritates her more. Five leans against the wall with his shoulder as if he was already know how this would end up.

“Don’t smile like that, you little shit,” she grumbles, trying to call you again and again, but you seem to just ignore her attempts.

“Congratulations, Lila,” he shrugs carelessly. “You screwed up again.”

Five will at first be someone you hardly notice when he does his job. Some idiot bothers you? Disappeared. Are you bullied at school? They are all gone. Is someone too close to you and you show genuine interest in them? I’m sorry, but they won’t call you back after the date. Don’t worry, you can cry in the shoulder to your best friends like Lila or Five who will be always here for you. Huh, what a coincidence…

I think Lila will often act as the one to make the calls, as she seems to be the only one who is successful in this and can hold a dialogue with you for more than a couple of minutes. Unlike Number Five. But he really wants to try talking to you. He craves it and he wants to prove that he can make the calls just as well as the dirty work like killing. He would use this as opportunity to tell you everything that he wouldn’t tell you if he was in front of you right now and you would know the real identity of the person who is always calling you so late. But he really just melts because of your sweet voice and he can listen to it for hours while you tell him about your day or plans for the future, Five is a serious and professional man who does his job perfectly. He knows that he has his own work and it needs to be done even though he really wants to forget it all and rest for some time.

“Stop calling me, you weirdo,” you say tiredly.

“Don’t even dare to hang up on me,” 5 warns you, but you immediately end the call despite his words.

As soon as you end up the call, Five, on the other side, closes his eyes and sighs, trying to calm down, them he calls you again. You barely had time to go to bed when you heard the melody of your phone and you had to pick up the device again. You really wanted like to yell at the person who was bothering you, but you are immediately interrupted.

“No, you listen here. Hang up on me and I’ll gut you like a fish, do you understand me?” he threatens you and the tone of his voice makes you tremble. “Now, do you think you can handle that for me, dear?”

I don`t think that any of them would go to kill some person in front of you. Firstly, they don’t want to hurt you, they go too far just by harassing you with calls, but it’s more of a warning, like “don’t go with that guy because he’s not good enough for you” or “you should stay at home tonight and don’t go to that party”. Yes, Ghostface most often calls victims to scare them and then kill them, but they will never touch you. And I also don’t think that they will harm any of your family or just your friends, only those who can potentially / already harm you, otherwise they warn you about it. You really should listen to those scary people that call you or be more attentive when you look out the window and notice a mysterious figure in a black costume in your backyard with those silly scream mask. you have two pairs of eyes that follow you everywhere and they can clearly see more than you so keep it in mind. but yeah, I think Lila sometimes really can just make some calls to you just for fun so Five need to bonk her time to time to remind her job.

Opinion on each character:

- First off Victor looks extra manly this season idk what it was but it was so good and he was so brave! I’m so proud of him and so glad he got the recognition he wanted from his dad, I like how his character got through the four seasons, his journey was great, he’s one of the most level headed to me personally in the group, he has every right to be angry and tired.

- Alison oh my god she worked this season, she knows she messed up bad and isn’t acting like she didn’t do anything wrong, it’s nice to see that by the end of the day she proved that all she needed was her family, Clare was also adorable, Also her knew powers are cool as shit, this Alison is so much better than season 3 and I’m glad we’re over that version of her

- I can not stress this enough but I’ll never get enough of klaus! It was such a nice touch to make him a germ phobic person and being scared of dying because he couldn’t just come back, him too timid and unlike his…well himself! Also I’m tired of seeing his potential going to waste! He is powerful! Literally he speak and order the dead! What happened?! Like his power is so dope! On a side note I sorta felt sad when I realized he started drinking at a young age to cope with the voices and what he sees

- Ben…Jesus Christ I haven’t liked him since season 3 and I still don’t, I miss the Ben from the first two seasons I used to have a crush on him he was adorable, funny and slightly crazy, plus he was always with klaus they were a duo, this Ben from the sparrow academy was not it and what you mean all of this was his fault? 💀 like yeah you want to be a hero but look to what that lead

- Lila I think she’s cool…her and Diego are badasses, but girl! Tf wrong with you?! Fine do undercover work, you have a right to be your own person you’re not just a wife but god damn did you have to go and be with five! Other than that it was just a mess

- five was so out of character this season, what happened to the overworked, tempered person I loved?! What you mean you fell for Lila because you followed her stupid idea?! And guess what? You got nothing out of it! You got lost for seven years in there, gathered literally nothing and had an affair with your sister in law! they could’ve been creative and pull a human Delors from one of the other timelines and make him a love interest but nope! They had to make it messy and weird

- Diego oh my sweet Diego, his character is so…I don’t know but I never disliked him, he has mommy issues and he’s hella funny without realizing it, also poor him this season, although he’s definitely softened up, it’s adorable that he made himself a family even though it got taken away at the end 💀 also he’s justified for being angry at five, that one bullet scene was excellent though

- Luther, actually like took me tf out that he was working as a stripper omg lol! I almost forgot how slim the actual actor was, he was dumb and funny, and I genuinely wondered where his wife went, he was so ready to go find her at the end of last season 

Overall:

I didn’t hate the final ending, I mean it made sense for that every timeline they stepped in they destroyed, like I’ll miss them to bits, those dumb idiots and pretend season 4 never happened because I gained nothing but a WTF did I just watch moment, and I thought people were exaggerating but it was just not that good…I wished they gave Ben and Jennifer more time so their relationship isn’t solely based on what’s inside them and justice for my man Klaus he suffered so much throughout these seasons.

Anyways at the end of the day these are only opinions and if you like this season good for you babe, enjoy whatever makes you happy 🤍

i’m here to complain about TUA4 bc i could not even FINISH this season everyone! i gave up right away so i do not know how the ending is i stopped that the start of episode 5. i need an outlet though tumblr you are my outlet let me speak

ok so. so so so so. i think definitely this main issue is the fivelila BLOCK! if you think that is okay! or good writing seriously. because i can’t tell you how infuriated i am about this happening out of all the things they could have done.

five and lila are a POWERFUL DUO NOT A POWERFUL COUPLE! their writing and the way they were like. Opponents in a sense. but they Understood each other! being both from the commission (in different ways, sure) and familiar with it was a bond UNFAMILIAR to anyone else five knows! they both understood time travel in a way That made them powerful. together.

not as a relationship! as family. diegolila is a powerful RELATIONSHIP. they literally spent the past two seasons writing that. i clocked that they were gonna throw all that away from the start of this season which actually makes no plot sense to me : and also i could never see five in a romantic light . Delores was not romance that was a delusion from the isolation of the apocalypse. “delores” is not a good argument. i know that’s just me but ugh

i was so enamored i thought this season would be so good. i thought the visual effects were beautiful! the plot could have been so good!! and i was so excited for. klaus iconic b plot. until it was actually terrible and s/a in a ? “satire” comedic way. they couldn’t take that more delicately or serious??

writing was so abrupt with no transitions at all. they would say things with no explanation. they just brought things IN to make it make sense (and steve made things way worse, and he made it make LESS SENSE!) it was actually insane. i’ve never been actually confused with the umbrella academy and now i Am. because you had these beautiful, complex characters with 60 pounds of trauma on their backs and you threw it away for a gross romantic plot and it felt so amino “edgy”. it felt like a POV tiktok video.

this show has felt like one step forward and two steps back ever since season 3 and i can even threaten season 2! i can’t believe i’ve been so unworldly obsessed with this show since 2019 and so excited to see the end and then the end is so bad i can’t even watch it! if you read this thank you! spare yourselves this was one of the worst things steve could ever do to this series

Season 3 Episode 3!!

⚠️⚠️ You know the warning, don't read if you haven't watched this season! ⚠️⚠️

Don't be Elmer's guys. That's just mean.

I love how Diego is obviously stressed, flipping his knife, and when Stan makes one noise, he yells, "Stanley! Now is not the time to be doing karate, okay?" Like, he'd yelling but still sounds like he isn't trying to be mean. But then he says that Stan's mom isn't wrong when she says he needs to practice karate. I mean... at least he's trying.

With the way that they're siblings, I'm surprised they don't blow up at each other more. I mean, Allison is constantly blaming Five. I'd scream at her and tell her it isn't my fault, but Five just calmly says he's just the messenger.

I am in-between, however. Viktor says that Five has a good track record of this stuff, and they should listen to him. I mean, sure. If you count getting stuck in one of the apocalypse for 45 years, failing to stop it the first time, causing another one, stopping that one only to head back to their timeline where they don't exist and causing another one. But to be fair, most of it isn't his fault. And in all honesty, I'd probably be Allison, too. Blaming Five and all that. Even if I do hate it.

As much as it was unnecessary, I do actually like the random fight scene between Lila and Five. Grabbing the shampoo and squirting it in her eyes was just smart. I mean, that hurts.

Sorry, but Allison calling Fei a flock of shegulls was actually really funny.

She is dumb however for saying they had Marcus.

It seems all the hargreaves need to do is actually talk to each other. Five and Lila just walked off with both briefcases. Diego knew they had both briefcases. But Allsion and Viktor still think the Sparrows have it.

"Pills, bills, and num nums." Wow, okay. Reggie's life is sad now.

Gotta say, I really love the Five-Lila duo. They're literally just perfect. The best platonic relationship in the show.

Luther being oblivious and missing everything while he was gone is just... well, honestly, it fits for him and this family. I'm glad Diego and Luther are making buddy-buddy, tho.

And poor Stan studying the elevator 😭

Another thing I love is the father son bonding moment with Reggie and Klaus. Reg is just so out of it. Not his normal self because of the pills, but his real self still peaks through, and Klaus is literally just chilling. Talking to him like normal and giving him tips on how not to take pills.

Also, Luther wanting to make Viktor feel loved and throw him a party to welcome him to the brother side is so sweet.

I feel like Klaus is always on side missions. Doing absolutely for the plot but just there for some comedic relief. And then something will happen, like he'll find the kugelblitz in the basement and then everybody already knows, so it doesn't matter. But at least he finally knows.

When the Sparrows show up and both sides of the family face each other, people take pictures. Like that's the best thing they've ever seen. And it probably is, I mean, the superheros they know that protect their city are supposedly meeting with a random group of deranged adults. I hope they showed those photos to as many people as they could before they got kugelblitzed. Just to cause some chaos.

Also, I thought this episode was longer. I desperately want to watch the next episode to watch the interactions with Harlan and Lila saying she'll miss Five, but I'll wait.

We all talk about the character assassination of Five, and it's devastating, of course. But what about what they did to Lila? She was always a wild card but this was a weird choice no matter how you think about it. Ma'am, you are MARRIED to a man you ADORED a season ago. Your new (ughhhhh) "lover" is your BROTHER IN LAW who was in the body of a MINOR when y'all met.

I do not accept the whole "we were stuck for 7 years and it was coping mechanism for me" for reasons other fans have already expressed. The writers RUINED a beautiful platonic relationship we could have had for these two. Jesus, does everything needs to be romantic and sexual? Now, when I rewatch the good seasons of this show, I will be seeing every scene Lila and Five have together as a setup for the worst romance in history, and not as the fun chaotic platonic duo slaying their way through an apocalypse.

Anyways, I'm angry beyond coherent thoughts.

some thoughts on what is apparently a rather controversial duo in tua s4 and this is absolutely not spoiler free

the five/lila pairing is disliked by just about everyone, and I get that. it's weird. watching it with my partner I kept saying "I hope this isn't going where I think it's going" and then it did and it was weird and uncomfortable and I didn't like it.

i get why people are a bit mad about it. BUT

it's not supposed to be liked?? like, I don't think the writers went "yes this is an amazing idea that everyone will love" it is meant to bad, it is meant to be weird and uncomfortable.

a core part of the show is messy relationships and this is no different. personally I don't find it massively out of character for either of them as well. the five we see s1-s3 has spent 45 years in basically in crisis mode, especially once finally getting back to his family and being in a constant state of trying to stop an apocalypse. but in s4 he's been able to settle down and live a normal life for 6 years. getting his family and stopping the end of the world are no longer his top priority because he'd finally spent a few years where that wasn't needed. they were all there and they were all safe.

lila is consistently impulsive and a little crazy and is not the type of person who thrives from settling down peacefully. lila and diego's relationship starts on a lie, and then she lies about stanley- neither of them fully trust each other in the early stage of their relationship. coupled with lila's fear of abandonment and of being a terrible mother (not to mention diego's unresolved parental issues), they were never going to be amazing parents or have the perfect marriage. they're both just doing their best with what they've got, but there are deep rooted issues that never get dealt with.

to a certain extent as well, five and lila understand each other more than anyone else in terms of time travel and the commission. in s2 and s3 they never really liked each other, but there was a sense of mutual understanding that didn't quite reach mutual respect. imo their relationship (after being stuck trying to find their own timeliness for almost 7 years) Makes perfect sense.

it was still weird and uncomfortable! I did not like it! that's the point!

NOT LONG UNDER ELEANOR’S BOOT, LILA BEGAN TO FIDGET. But the blonde wasn't keen on letting her go just yet.

"My father taught me well, I wouldn't struggle," Eleanor taunted as the girl continued to grunt.

"You got a good nose," She complimented Five as he figured out she was behind all this.

"You know planting her in the psych ward, taking advantage of my simpleton brother, that was smart," he compliments her back.

"Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," she said with a small laugh.

Eleanor looked up at the, "She's your—"

"—daughter. Yes, and she's my only one, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't crush her windpipe," the woman said giving Eleanor a smile.

Reluctantly the girl removed her foot off her, with a nod from Five. 

"Also cute outfit, the whole white on white," The Handler responded making motions at her little outfit, "The whole school girl thing must be his thing huh?"

Eleanor huffed but didn't answer, rather she stood by Five. Something that made him sigh inwardly, the Eight he knew wouldn't let the woman talk all over like this.

Lila stood from the ground and got close to the duo, "I will enjoy killing you both someday," she threatened.

"Lila, darling, would you give us a minute, please?" The Handler interrupted.

"Yes the grown-ups need to talk," Five commented watching the woman walk away far enough to where she couldn't hear them.

"Do you like Jazz Five, Eight?" she asked the two.

Five lifted his hand before Eleanor could answer, "I'd rather lick a cheese grater," he commented.

The Handler gave the boy an obnoxious smile, "Jazz is like a beautiful woman," she began reaching to touch Eleanor's blonde hair, "Complex, emotional, hard to please," she comments running her gloved hand over her soft face, "She doesn't just give it to you...she makes you work for it." she says now standing behind Eleanor putting her hands on her shoulders.

Five shifted uncomfortably as the woman used Eleanor as a way to talk about nonsense, "I'm really hoping you're going somewhere with this."

Her hands still on the blonde's shoulders, "Under my leadership, the Commission would sound more like....jazz." she comments lifting the blonde stands and letting them fall on her shoulders.

Five looked at the woman, "And what about the board of directors?" he mentioned to the woman.

"Well, that's where you and darling jazz over here come in," she said putting her head on the blonde's shoulder.

"Nope," he said, answering for the both of them, "No, it isn't."

Moving her head she wrapped an arm around Eleanor's shoulders, "In exchange for the assassination of the board, I'm willing to get you and your family out of this timeline and back to 2019 where you belong."

"What about world war III that's about to kick off in a few days?" asked Eleanor, looking at the woman next to her.

The Handler turned and poked her nose, "Well once you and your siblings are gone, that goes away."

"And the Apocalypse in 2019?" he asked.

"That too," she replied with a smile.

"I distinctly remember you telling me that that apocalypse had to happen, that it was supposed to happen." Five said bringing back the words he told her.

"Back then I was toeing the company line, but once I'm in charge, we can riff," she said her hands on Eleanor again.

"Jazz," he said, his eyes flickering to Eleanor, now he was mad that it was the image of jazz.

Five paced looking over at the blonde wishing she could help him, but with her state, all she was, was a blank piece of a paper with feelings. 

"What about the board of directors? I mean no one knows who they are," Five told them.

"Correct," The Handler answered walking away from the Blonde, "But once every fiscal quarter, they get together for a board meeting."

"Where?" he asked curiously.

"The question is when. They meet somewhere in the timeline but never in the same place twice. The exact location and date of these board meetings are the most closely-guarded secret in the Commission." The Handler explained.

"But you know where it's gonna be, don't you?" he asked her, knowing all too well.

"Would I be any good at what I do, if I didn't?" she said looking at the two.

"Eight, lets' go, I need to think about it," he said, pulling Eleanor as he walked away.

"You know it's so sad seeing Little Eight not being able to think for herself, I wonder what she would say," she said loudly, "And remember doomsday is just around the corner. I'm your only option," she finished.

"Not yet you aren't," he replied, jumping with Eleanor.

The two began heading back to Morty's but stopped when they were delivered a card.

"Magnolia? Interesting," Eleanor hummed as she saw the street name.

And so the two set off to walk to their destination, side by side.

"Who was the woman?" Eleanor asked suddenly as they were walking off to their destination.

"A woman we called The Handler, you hated her," Five said as he had his hands in his pockets.

"Why did I hate her?" she asked curiously.

"While we worked for her, she tended to hit on me a lot, and you as my wife, then, didn't like that," He replied, not thinking too much about it.

"I don't think anyone would like that if you were together," she said with a smile.

Five didn't say anything for a while, but from the corner of his eyes looked at her, "You know, you're different," he said.

Eleanor hummed, "A bad difference?" she asked.

"I don't know yet," he confirmed.

And so the rest of the way they were silent, not speaking. Or looking at each other. Finally, the two arrived at Southland Life, where the card had taken them. The two then walked in, and up the stairs to the elevator. Eleanor leaned forward and pressed the button waiting as it came to their floor. Not too long after the elevator dinged and the two stepped in, pressing the appropriate button, then the doors began to close. But before they could fully close a hand reaches the door open.

"Wait up," came the voice of Diego as he stepped in going around the two. Then the heels clicking was heard.

"Hold it," called the voice of Allison as she stepped in and Eleanor and Five moved to make way for Klaus and Vanya who walked in. As they thought everyone was gone.

Luther squeezed in, "Excuse me."

"Good. We're all here," he said giving Eleanor a small smile as he was squished closer to her because of Luther's ginormous body.

The elevator dinged and the doors closed, the blonde looked at Five who was face to face with her and she smiled back.

Luther then grunted as he watched the number go up, from behind him, Allison sniffs and makes a grossed-out face. Klaus followed, and then everyone in the elevator made a face. Eleanor and Five reached their faces in an attempt to block out the smell.

"God Luther," Eleanor wheezed out.

"Sorry, I'm nervous," He shrugged.

As the elevator dinged again the siblings rushed out the elevator not standing for the smell anymore.

The group suddenly walked towards the table, "When dad gets here I'll do the talking," Five said as he pulled out a chair for Eleanor who was right beside him.

"I have a few questions myself," Diego said.

"Hey you don't want to scare Reggie now," Eleanor scoffed as she crossed her legs on the chair watching the siblings take their seats, "He could be our ticket home, as Five says," she told him.

"No, we need to figure out why he's planning to kill the president," he said to the blonde as he walked over and plopped next to her.

"This is a matter of life and death, you imbecile," Five insulted his brother, but stopped when the blonde gave him a look.

"Okay, yeah, maybe we should take turns talking. Yeah?" Vanya said, reaching to another table, "Here, whoever has got this conch shell gets to talk," she said as she lifted the large shell.

"Vanya, we don't have time for a debate, okay?" Five started but were cut off by Allison who grabbed the shell out of Vanya's hands.

"Maybe I should lead. We all know I'm a better public speaker than the rest," she said.

"Or you know me? I'm literally the one that knows this man," Eleanor spoke up looking at the siblings.

"Ugh, of course, Daddy's girl," Diego scoffed, “You shouldn’t even be here with your memory issues.” 

Eleanor stood from her chair and cocked her head, "Oh what Jealous? Based on what all you guys say about me, I've been a favorite even when I was part of this Academy." she told Diego mockingly.

"I regret sleeping with you!" Diego seethed taking a step forward towards the girl.

But the blonde didn't back down, "Honey the only reason we slept together was because of me. I clearly have the bigger dick between you and me," She laughed taunting him.

"I won't have a problem punching a girl—"

He didn't get to finish as a first flew straight at him, causing him to stumble, "Oh what was that? I didn't hear over my fist," she spat at him, “Try me Diego, I eat boys like you breakfast,” she finished in a hiss. 

Before any more could be said the doors burst open, and in came a quiet Reginald. The siblings watched as he set his stuff down, and sat, the other siblings following in suit.

His eyes traveled to the table and landed on a familiar blonde, but said nothing to her.

"Not only have you burglarized my lab, set my chimp loose, conned your way into the Mexican consulate, repeatedly stalked and attacked me, but you have, on numerous occasions, called me...."

Before he could finish Klaus pulled the chair next to him, "Hey, pop. How's it hangin'."

"...Dad..." he finished, "My reconnaissance tells me you're not CIA, not KGB, certainly not MI5, so who are they, Eleanor?" The man continued as he now formally addressed the blonde he knew. Fitting the one they didn’t want talking, was addressed first.

"They including me apparently are your children, from the future," she told the man before her, "You adopted all seven of us and trained us to be an elite family to stop the end of the world. Called them—us The Umbrella Academy." she finished based on all the information she gathered.

"Why on earth would I adopt Seven—"

"Eight," Allison corrected, "One of us isn't here."

"Dead," Diego confirmed.

Seems Eleanor forgot the other sibling.

"Yeah, ba ba ba ba, enough of that now," said Klaus, turning around to what seemed to be Ben's ghost. He turned around and signaled to continue.

"Regardless, what would possess me to adopt seven—"

"Eight—" Allison again corrected.

"I counted out Eleanor," the man stated.

"We all have special abilities," Five replied looking at the old man.

"Special? In what sense?" He asked, a bit more curious.

"In the superpower sense," Luther answered.

"Call me old-fashioned, but I'm a stickler for pesky little things called evidence," He started looking at his siblings, "show me."

"Everybody wants to see powers all of sudden," Allison scoffs, taking a sip of her drink. Of course getting bothered by a man who does’t even know them. 

"We're not circus animals okay?" Luther told the man seriously, "We're not gonna bounce balls on our noses and clap our hands like a seal for your entertainment." he continued as he made the actions with his hands.

But Diego was quick to whip out a knife that went around, Reginald's head.

The man said nothing and he began writing notes in his book.

Everyone leaned forward as he did so, "What are you writing?" Diego asked the man.

"You are zero for two young man," Reginald said and caused Diego to lunge forward but Five jumped in front of him to stop him. "Stop!" Five whispered harshly at him.

"Now that is interesting," Reginald commented to Five who had appeared by Diego. 

"All right, uh, quick rundown," Five began, "Luther: super strength," he began as he pointed at the large man, "Klaus: can commune with the dead," he said pointing the man on the left of Reginald, "Allison: can rumor anyone to do anything," He explains as he sits down.

"Except she never used it," Diego scoffed feeling his sister’s ability was a joke, 

Allison gave him a face, "I heard a rumor you punched yourself in the face," she said and watched as Diego's eyes went white and socked himself hard on the nose, the second time today his nose being hurt. 

"And you?" Reginald asked, looking at the girl next to him.

"Uh, maybe we don't take Vanya for a test run," Luther chuckled.

"Oh yeah, that's probably not a good idea," Klaus agreed

"It's fine," Vanya finally spoke up, "I can handle it."

"Handle it?" Allison asked a little afraid, "Last time you handled it, you blew up the moon."

They all became afraid as she began concentrating as she tapped her cup with a fork resonating a large high pitched noise. And she used to explode the fruit on everyone.

"Impressive," said Eleanor smiling at the girl who returned the smile.

Reginald whipped the fruit off himself and looked over at Eleanor who was picking pineapple off her blazer.

"And you Eleanor? You said you too are from the future," he asked now looking at her.

Five-spoke up for since she didn't really know much about anything, "She was your darling child," he began looking over at Eleanor, "Telekinesis, telepath, she could open portals to almost wherever and whenever she wants, and something we call The Force."

"The Force?" He asked curiously.

"If you thought Vanya was strong, she began to glow all sorts of colors, she was the one who had the power to shut Vanya's powers off. But it seems when she arrived here her memory was wiped and she couldn't use or remember them." Five answered.

The man looked over at Eleanor and somehow he had no problem believing that. Something about the way she carried herself. He always thought there was something blocking her but now he knew why. She was a powerful being. He feared someone would take them sooner or later. 

"Look, we know that you're involved in a plot to assassinate the president," Diego suddenly spoke up.

Eleanor stood from her seat, "Diego," she hissed but stopped when Reginald motioned her to sit.

"You were recently hospitalized, isn't that correct? You still appear to be suffering from delusions of grandeur and acute paranoia," he stated towards the man.

"Am I?" He asked, reaching in his pocket, and taking out a photo and handing it to him, "That's you. That's two days from now on the grassy knoll at the exact spot the president's gonna get shot.

"Well, I suppose you've solved it. You single-handedly unearthed my nefarious plot. Is that what you want to hear?" Reginald spoke towards Diego who looked proud to solve his crime.

"You fancy yourself a do-gooder? The last good man who will save us from our descent into corruption and conspiracy? This is a fantastic delusion. The sad reality is that you're a desperate man, tragically unaware of his own insignificance, desperately clinging to his own ineffectual reasoning. More succinctly a man in over his head." Regionals spoke his words, each sharper than the next. Breaking down Diego with every word, to the point he was backing sitting on his chair with tears in his eyes.

"You're wr....wrong...." Diego stuttered as a tear fell cleanly from his eyes.

"Told you not to," Eleanor said leaning back on her chair with arms crossed.

"Look, forget about the president, we have a catastrophic war coming in five days. We need to figure out how to stop it," Five-spoke up moving their attention from Diego.

"War? Men will always be at war with each other," Reginald figured, and in a way he's right.

"No, this isn't just some war. I'm talking about a doomsday. The end of the world." Five responded to the man seriously.

"Well, you're the special ones, aren't you? Why don't you band together and do something about it?" He said to the group.

When suddenly Klaus' body went shaky and his arms in the air, catching everyone's attention.

"Is he having a seizure?" Allison asked suddenly.

"Overdose probably," Diego replied, not worried, trying to get himself together after Reginald’s words. 

He was shaking and he turned to the man, "I'm..."

Impatient he looked at him, "Out with it boy,"

"...Ben...." he gasped and dropped to the floor.

"Well, I have seen enough," said Reginald picking up his things and getting up.

Luther spoke up, "I–" but the man was leaving, he slammed his fists on the table, tearing open his shirt, "Look what you did to me!"

Eleanor snorted and slapped her hand over her mouth, at the moment. What a way to make a statement that didn’t need to be heard. 

Reginald turned to the man but didn't answer, rather he turned to the girl and Five.

"Eleanor, care to bring the one in shorts, for a word?" he said and turned around walking off. The two got up and followed the older man to the bar.

"Reggie, this is Five," she introduced stepping away as she took the time to grab her drink and move off the counter leaving them to talk. Not really caring, the young girl drank happily from her cup, that was when she felt a tap on her shoulder, she turned to see Reginald.

"Hi Reggie," she smiled.

"Now you listen to me, Eleanor," he stated, "He and this family of yours are going to need you."

"If you're talking about powers," she paused looking down at her feet, "I don't even remember my past," she finished looking at him sadly.

The man smiled, putting his hand on her shoulder, "Something tells me you will soon. I bid my farewell, my child," He told her seriously.

Eleanor nodded and pulled the man in for a hug, "Thank you for everything," she whispered as the man hugged her back. 

With that, the man left the blonde and Five alone, as the two knew they had to accept whatever deal this was.

"You don't have to go with me," he told her, not knowing how well she would react to this.

"You're stuck with me now, old man," she smirked, grabbing his hand.

He looked down at their hands and nodded, "You know you're technically older than me now," he mentioned as he jumped out of the location.

Soon enough they were knocking on bright green doors, and they opened to reveal a very shiny woman.

"Ah, just in time for a nightcap," she said happily staring at the two, as she offered them drinks.

"To be clear, we take out the board, you get me and my family home. No more doomsday, no more apocalypse. Is that correct?" Five said to the woman who put down the drinks and began walking to her bed as she lay on it.

"That's the deal," she confirmed.

"Then we're in," he said as Eleanor nodded next to him.

The woman reached and handed them a piece of paper, The Lonely Lodge Inn. Oshkosh, Wisconsin, 1982.
