two months ago I got three guppies for a small, cheap aquarium.

currently have over 20 of these damned fish and a second aquarium (not cheap) to house the stupid fries that were born not understanding that THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ROOM in the other one.

I'm gonna grill the next ones, I swear (will panic and probably get a third aquarium if the current no males with females separation SOMEHOW doesn't work)

#personal #and if you look up “guppy fries” on YT you'll get “educational” videos on how to care and keep them alive #girl they spawned in a 16lt tank and they all survived #what kind of setups are you running that your guppies aren't making it (aside from community tanks i get that)#(actually gonna make my big tank a community one with some bigger fish (platys))#(will add them when the current fries grow a bit so if more spawn later nature will take over and the bigger fish will eat the smaller)#(which would happen in nature and is why these tiny baby-machines are spawning children so frequently)#bloody 6-7cm fish making me bankrupt

proper reupload in the high quality this fantastic segment so deserves; eagle pig and duck bias notwithstanding, this will forever be my favorite variant of the fabled switcheroo (and a reminder that Daffy was first at his own game!) the committal on behalf of both characters--especially the sincerity of Daffy's feigned sincerity--really sets it apart

#that delivery of “don't you believe i'm a fish?” sounds so hurt and it's perfect #likewise i think there are few one-liners/toppers that make me laugh as much as 'i told ya i was a pig'#and that all knowing glance at the audience from Daffy doesn't feel obnoxiously smarmy or self aware #there's a friendly nonchalance to it. a very clear amusement and not in a way that undermines anything this segment is setting out to achie #again. my favorite buzzword: that sincerity! a sincere investment and amusement in watching Porky obliviously and endearingly make an ass #out of himself #and of course the cross dissolve and setup of the composition implying a story/sequence of events taking place within that time...#this short isn't my favorite P+D short--i still LOVE IT A TON but there are so many i revere--but i think it's one of the most definitive #if someone was looking to get a good understanding on their character dynamic this would be one of my immediate recommendations #i haven't had the bandwidth to spread my pig and duck gospel but please #watch Porky and Daffy cartoons #tangential but i've always loved the sound effect Treg Brown uses for Porky dropping the gun #good exaggeration/whimsy while also connoting Porky's stubbornness and that this stupid petty argument is enough for him to lose sight of #his motives and discard his murder weapon. all because of this joyously stupid argument. so i like the self awareness there with how obtuse #the sound effects are #because anyone who is not Porky Pig would have just shot him point blank #and that is everything i love about their dynamic and how Daffy's intoxicating charisma and ability to get people invested even affects the #very characters on screen #gee d'you think i ought to have said more about this scene #lt #duck soup to nuts #freleng #vid

absolutely nuts that tigerheartstar took over riverclan for a while and there were no deaths.

#warrior cats #like barely anyone died in asc in general but i feel that incident in particular should've caused carnage #cats dying to protect their clan because they're afraid shadowclan is going to hurt the others #one of the shadowclan cats posted in riverclan misunderstanding smthn like cats going night fishing or w/e as a rebellion starting #and then attacking them #someone actually staging a rebellion and then getting killed #perhaps after that tigerheartstar's anger at riverclan becomes even worse and someone who could've been leader dies at his claws #berrynose and friends being posted there and being violent with riverclanners because they're raging xenophobes #tigerheartstar retreats with less clanmates and his paws soaked in riverclan blood after his attempt to 'help' fails #sunbeam's plot being less about nightheart and more watching with horror as her mother and clanmates become tyrants #she runs to thunderclan because she can't unsee what her friends and family have done (and what she's done)#squirrelstar already was Unhappy about the situation but when she discovers what's actually happening there's war.#the drama! the angst! the tragedy!#the potential setup for new plots- the new leader of riverclan remembers what happened. they will never forgive.

Somewhat related to Ginger's LTW to marry off 6 children: Sten went to church, mostly to talk to Leo or Murie Pike. Ginger suggested matchmaking Gil and Osanna, since the Pikes are doing pretty good on all fronts except the "getting married" one, so Sten went off to discuss it with the adults in charge of Gil.

Leo seems pretty happy about the idea.

oh NO.! THE PROPPHECY HAS BEenm FUFILLED

i am standing in my room, leggies rooted to the floor. i am in shock .frozen and i have no idea how to proceed. there is a perpetual pathetically sobbing serpent under my blankie.

#stares at the camera and stage whispers #i can't be responsible for another living creature. i can't. or . er. i can. but I SHOULDN'T #i'll have to suppress every violent urge in my body to keep this thing alive for several months #i CANNOT fling him out the window. i WILL NOT grab his entire face and squeeze. I SHALL NOT chew on his tail.#now i'm reminded of that post where it's a pretty princess cage on the floor and comments go [that aint big enough for a dog]#and OP is all [it's not FOR a dog 😀]#yeah. that's me right now imagining a full grown yakumo in a cage by my bedside #SO FOR EASE OF MY IMAGINATION AND TO increase yaku's chance of surviving these next months #i'm going to try real hard to imagine him exclusively in pocket snake form (scrunches up my face in valiant effort)#his enclosure (crib?!?!) is flanked on all sides by eiden plushies #since yaku is an adult there is a smaller chance of him suffocating on eiden in his sleep. wait. actually #arranges the eiden walls to give some pockets of air. i don't trust him. he WILL suffocate on eiden given the opportunity #he gets one of those tiny dollhouse cooking sets for enrichment LOL #or i'll give him a bunch of those make-your-own gummy kits with elaborate setups and tiny egg gummies #crying yaku is the excuse i need to finally get a humidifier #i can survive not misting myself.. usually... but yaku will cry himself into dehydration. it's misting time #he gets an entire alcove closed off in the corner with his basic needs met. i cannot perceive #he can lurk in privacy as much as he wants. there are at least TWO hot rocks in there with garukaru's faces painted on em #there is a duplicate open-space alcove next to it for when he actually wants something from me LOL #is he a free range snake? can i take him to a bunch of restaurants and shove food into my sleeve for him? he wants to sample the delights..#tempted to put a bell on him just so if he gets loose in the basement i'll know to fish him out #but he's pretty cautious... he won't get into any fatal situations in the house right? ...does he know how to swim?!#at least one day is reserved for testing yaku's swimming capabilities.#he is going into the bathtub while it has a film of water. gonna test his traction. i hope i won't get panic-strangled #asks
