new muse drop : spencer lockwood. muse info and weird, liminal sims 4 cas screenshots below the cut ❤️
Tumblr media
birthday : November 17th, 1840 (scorpio) age: 183 gender : cisgender male , he/him. occupation : heir to a successful family tea company, investor species : vampire face claim : n/a atm. (so yes that does mean i used a screenshot of his sim to make that icon LMAO)
✨✨ tldr ; he was born Harrison Lockwood, was mugged and turned one night. Instead of rejecting him, his family took him in and took care of him to the best of their abilities. But soon he was the last one of his family, inheriting the whole family business and estate. He hired a frontman for the business that could pass for his dad, changing his name in the 90’s to Spencer to fit in a little more. He throws ragers at his house because he's lonely and he misses his big ass, loud family :((( ✨✨
Born with the name “Harrison Lockwood”, Spencer grew up in the lap of luxury, silver spoon in his mouth, never wanting. The youngest of six, he was often the one overlooked, but not out of any maliciousness — his mother did her best to raise him and his siblings, and where she couldn't, the help certainly tried their best. Spencer never minded too much — he liked the freedom — and despite everything he grew to be a well rounded, if not a bit rebellious young man.
But that rebellion landed him in trouble. A man of his standing, of his dress — pockets bursting with money — surely he knew he was a target to those unsavory types, right? He was attacked — mauled, even — left a bloody mess, crumpled in a cold, dreary ally, and as he stared up at the cloudy, starless sky, he realized with horror death wasn’t going to greet him tonight. Instead, he was pulled back to life by something far more violent.
When he returned home the next day, his family took him up into their arms and cried. He was colder now, as if those flagstones that he lay bleeding on the night before sapped all his warmth. Not a wound was to be seen — for he was changed.
The cravings were hard to handle at first, but money grants a work around for most of everything. Despite the change, his family loved him, they cared for him and kept him safe. The rumors that began to circulate about him did nothing but boost tea sales.
As the years went on, he watched his family grow old, his siblings having families of their own, but he stayed the same, stuck in time, feeling more like an outlier than ever. Finality isn’t something he has to worry about anymore, but he watched his family slowly come to terms with it, meeting their conclusions by illness or by natural causes. The Lockwood family’s numbers dwindled year by year, until one year, all that was left was him — the massive manor once bustling with life now sits lifeless. He had wished his family would haunt the halls at least, but there was nothing.
As the years progressed, he was desperate to fit in — fashion has always been an interest of his, the culture of people that appear his age — in the 90’s, the name “Harrison” was finally shed, replaced with Spencer. A new man for a new age.
He hired a spokesperson for the company, one believably aged with just enough resemblance to appear like his father. Large parties are thrown at any occasion, just to bring some life back to those halls once again.
and as promised, weird liminal sims 4 cas screenshots of the madlad!

Sorry, I mistyped! I meant to say that the only rules I’d seen were for TS4 — those ones —or an adaptation for TS2 that is in Portuguese. I don’t really like TS4, so a TS2 decades challenge seems much more fun, but you’re the only person I’ve seen play it. How do you handle the things that work differently in TS2 — like job availability or ease of killing off war victims?
That's right, the two games are very different so I have to change some things. I‘m using the traits that were made for TS2, so the girls can get the „creative trait“ like in the TS4 rules. The first generation was just like the TS4 rules say: no electricity, no radio, outdoor toilet, try for baby everytime (well, I didn‘t need to tell Leopold and Elisabeth to do this). Leopold wasn‘t working in the career that he wanted -he wanted to be a mad scientist and he was working in a postal career because he wasn‘t at college. Elisabeth was staying home with the many kids they had and the household and garden. Also the wives of the heirs will stay at home with the kids until the times changes. My heirs are always male because I want to keep the surname. If my Sims will reach the time where the husband can get the surname of his wife I will also choose the first born girl as heir. It‘s hard to get them entertained without radio, TV, computer and such so it‘s a completely new game experience. ^^ 1. Jobs: I check the lifetime wants of my Sims and if they want to be at the top of an unrealistic job they get something else what ever they can find. Alfred is working at the medical career and reached the top of it. His son Manfred wants to work at the scientist career which I allow him since he was at college. The women, who are not married to my heir, are working as a teacher or at the journalism career. At the beginning Elisabeth was writing a book to get some money. 2. War victims: I sent all of my male family members (teens and adults) to war and not only some of them. Some of my Sims, who died in WW1 died of natural causes because of illness and hunger. My heir Alfred was the only one who still was working during the war as a doctor. I also took care of him because I didn‘t wanted my heir to die too soon. I decided to let the brother-in-law of Alfred die because his wife was already dead and I can‘t keep every Sim that's not related to my heir. I know that the TS4 rules say I should use a dice but I was just too afraid that the heir could die before a son was born. I‘m not sure how the time of WW2 will work. This will be more complicated to do. :/ 3. I try to follow the german history and not the one that was described on the TS4 challenge rules since I‘m from Germany so I let my Zimmermann-family also be german. I use traits but I don‘t change them or give my Sims the ones that are written in the TS4 rules and I also don‘t change the character of my Sims. The siblings of my heir will live in the same town as long as he lives, so they can keep in touch and visit each other from time to time. Next to all the rules I let my Sims just do what they want as long as it fits into that decade. When my kids finished college (the family is now rich enough to afford it) they move back to the parents and move out if one of the spares marries. I only let my heir marry if he has three bolts with someone and as long as there is no birth control they may have as many kids as they want.    Just something to think about before starting a decades challenge, no matter which Sims game it is: it takes a lot of time to find CC that fits into the decade you are in! Every decade needs new CC- new clothes, hairs, buy and build items.   Default clothes for each decades are very hard to find. There is a lot for victorian times, medieval and modern, but I couldn‘t find any other decade so I will have modern firefighters in my game and so on. When my Sims go to work I use a mod that my Sims only wear their casual clothes so they will not come home in any modern working outfits. For the decades 1890‘s to 1910‘s there are some carpool defaults but not for the other decades. It‘s not easy to play a historical game when there are not enough defaults for it. :/ I‘m not sure if this will help anyone. I just can say: it‘s fun and different from the normal modern gameplay but the hardest part is the CC hunting. :/

#thesims4 #sims4challenge Through the Packs Challenge – By TheLisaBug This Challenge combines using just about all the packs and was inspired by the Legacy Challenge, Runaway Teen Challenge, Rags to Riches and the Not So Berry Challenge. In fact, this challenge was made with the Not So Berry Challenge in mind so much that it uses a lot of game play that the Not so Berry Challenge doesn't use and instead of different colored hair, eyes, etc. each generation has different clothing, house styles and walk styles! Therefore, whether or not you have done the Not So Berry Challenge will not matter. However, doing this Challenge after the Not So Berry Challenge would give you an even more full experience of The Sims 4!This challenge was made with YouTubers in mind to showcase the packs and help people learn what they would like to purchase and what they can do without. It would also be interesting to watch, especially during this time of isolation, I think!There are certain requirements for this challenge, however, with no set required amount of skills and no points to count, it is fun and stress-free as challenges go!
* if you don't own certain packs then make up your own stories and substitute the challenges as needed to what you see fit. If you don’t have a certain trait or lot trait for example, just make one that seems to fit with the story or challenges, skip entire generations if you need to do so*
General Rules: No cheats may be used.
You may use mods to enhance game play as far as story goes but the mods may not help with skills, careers or finance. That being said, MCC mod does help to not run out of townies, so it is recommended but it is not a must, since you can just restock the townies with gallery sims if you need to do so.Set Lifespan to Normal (Suggested). Making lifespan longer will make the challenge easier and more chill so do as you like :)
Start Generation 1 as a YA with 20,000 simoleons and no skills (a fresh sim). You may make this sim or get them from the gallery, but be aware that some gallery sims may have skills, careers and traits that would give them an advantage.
The Heir to the next generation is suggested to be the oldest child but you can change that if you want the heir to be the first female or youngest, etc.
Every Generation is supposed to complete their Aspiration/s and get to level 10 of their career by the time the heir becomes a YA as well as complete all other things listed. The two exceptions to this is for Generation 1, since Generation 2 moves out as a teen and Generation 2 where you must have at least a five star restaurant to complete your job by the time your child is a teen and you die when your heir is a teen.
There are no requirements as far as skill levels, but some of the things your sims will need to do require certain skills.
There are no points that you must count for this challenge, as it is meant to be free of stress and help you play parts of packs you may not have explored, fully, before and end up with your dream house in the end and a net worth of at least 1 Million simoleans (ie. House can be worth 400,000 and savings can be 600,000). See how well you can do!
You may age up your next generation Heir only if you have completed all your assignments. Generation 1 is the only generation that can participate in the lottery
 Your spouse completing the tasks that are assigned do count for your challenge (ie. They can complete an aspiration that you need)
I recommend you turn Fame off in your settings, with the exception of Generation 8 where you will want fame to be on.
 You must participate in all Holidays that come with the game at least once during the Challenge and you may add other holidays if you wish.
 Each generation should take family photos (at least there should be a picture of each heir) and any collectibles or meaningful trinkets and pass them down through the generations (you must not sell anything that is passed down)
Each Generation moves to a different town and builds a specific style home as specified (you may use houses on the Gallery but make sure you can afford them)
Generation 1 – Strangerville Story: You always wanted to escape from your country and come to a land full of opportunity. After years of waiting, you are given a choice. The place you want to live needs more Military presence and there are not enough people willing to sign up. You have been promised full citizenship if you will join their military and “Defeat the Mother”. You always thirsted for an adventure, so you are willing to take this on full force. However, to combat all the pressure and anxiety you want to live in a small house and arrange flowers.
Traits: Erratic, Ambitious, Active
Career: Military (either branch)
Aspiration: Strangerville Mystery
Clothing Style: Vintage
House Style: Trailer/Tiny home
Walk Style:  Tough
Lot Traits: Child's Play, Dog Hangout, Bracing Breezes
You must be a sim who is able to get pregnant
 - You have received a 20,000 Simoleon signing bonus
Build a trailer or tiny home that is no more than 100 tiles with the money given
Marry someone who helped you “Defeat the Mother” and have a child with them Have a baby, via an affair, to produce the second child with a Sage that you meet on a day trip to Glimmerbrook, but don't marry them or move them into the household (the purpose of having your heir be the spawn of a witch/warlock is for Generation 4 to have the Ancient Bloodline trait)
Defeat “The Mother” and become the Hero of Strangerville
Use the flower arranging table to make flower arrangements with all 7 different flowers (you can use candle making instead if you have eco lifestyle & make 7 different candles)
Take a stray dog into your family by the time the middle child becomes a toddler
Middle child has Independent trait as a toddler
The middle child must reach at least level 3 in all toddler skills before aging up
Have middle child (once they age into a child) have the Kleptomaniac trait, have them complete the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration and get responsibility characteristic high before becoming a teen
Middle child never finds any people they really consider good friends but they find that they consider the family dog their best friend Have 3 kids (the middle child must be biologically yours with the spellcaster Sage)
Have middle child take pictures of the their whole family and dog to get pictures for their future place (all heirs must do this and pass the photos down the generations)
Middle child runs away as a teenager the day after becoming a teenager and takes the family dog (if it is still alive. If not alive, take the urn or gravestone), the military medals (do this by placing medal case in inventory and then putting medal on the ground and then putting them into your middle child's inventory), some flower arrangements you like and at least one photo of the dog with them (you must use the cheat “FreeRealEstate on” to move into an empty lot as a homeless sim) to start Generation 2 Generation 2 – San Myshuno Story: As the middle child, you often felt left out. One of your parents was different than your siblings and you never had any good friends, besides the family dog.  Also, the house was way too small for everyone! Plus, you think your parent and step parent are crazy with their talk of “Defeating the Mother”, which you think is nonsense, so you run away when you become a teen. Coming from a town where everyone was either government or oddballs (or both), you always dreamed of being around people that were more cultured, so you decided to live in the city with the dog who you grew up with. The problem is that you have no money for an apartment, so you will be homeless until you save up for one. You will do almost anything and I mean ANYTHING to save enough money to rent one – couch surf, steal, ask for money – anything. The only exception to this is to marry for money, since you will never get married in your life. You are used to going it alone.
Traits as a teen: Kleptomaniac, Snob, Foodie

-Once you have purchased an easel, dog bowl, bed, toilet, shower, trash can, refrigerator, sink and saved up 1500 simoleons in savings then you may move to a starter apartment in the Spice District
- You can skip school or take vacation days but you must end up with an A grade and high responsibility in range for a trait by the time you age up to YA.
-Learn all city food recipes
-Collect all snow globes
- Have one dog that you took from your childhood home and when it dies you are too sad to ever get another dog
 Do not have a child until adult and spent YA life living it up in the city and running your restaurant
Your toddler heir must have the fussy trait
Have at least 3 sims that you “try for baby” with on the same day so you don't know which one is the father/mother of the child that you end up having (if male make sure you select that you can get pregnant in CAS and if using mods make sure you are ovulating) Do not check to see if you are pregnant until after you hook up with the 3 sims (if you are still not pregnant then repeat this process until you are)
Never Marry
Have only one pregnancy (if you end up with more than one child then pick one for this challenge)Move into a bigger apartment in the Fashion District or Uptown worth at least 100,000 Simoleans while you are pregnant to make room for your child
Have a 5 star restaurant by the time you die
Paint 3 Masterpieces and put them on the wall in your apartment
Let your child have a pet rat
Have your child start researching Vampires on the computer and purchase and read Vampire Tomes in their spare time (you are too busy to even notice)
Die when your heir child is a teenager (you decide how, but maybe poorly cooked pufferfish? Restaurant fire?) but make sure you transfer all inherited medals, flower arrangements, photos, etc. to the household inventory. This starts Generation 3
Generation 3 – Forgotten Hollow Story: Your parent was so busy with the restaurant, living it up in the city and their painting that you would often sit alone in your room reading books about Vampirism. 🌈 RAINBOW BERRY! LEGACY CHALLENGE
     – I love berry Sims! You too? I know, right...? Aren’t they just so cute?
     I’ve been considering for a good while whether to do a Berry Challenge or not, but while @lilsimsie already shared her Not So Berry Legacy Challenge with us, I couldn’t click with it for some reason.      So, I’ve decided to create my OWN version. It will be a mix of the Not So Berry with the original Legacy Challenge and choose some new rules for my own Rainbow Berry! Legacy Challenge (´。• ◡ •。`)ノ゙ ♡
     If you want to join me in this adventure, buckle up, my friend! Here’s what you need to know (= •ㅅ• =)
     NOTE: In order to fully enjoy the Challenge, you must own ALL PACKS! Also, YOU WILL NEED BERRY SKINTONES!           You can find some here:
          • Noodle’s 16 Pastel Skin Colors           • SimplySimblr’s 25 Shades of Berries           • Noodle’s 64 Berry Skin Colors           • TheSimsperience’s 63 Custom Skin Colors
» The Basics:
     You will be playing with your Sims up to the 10th Generation. The perk of this Challenge is that each Generation will be represented by a signature color, wherever applicable. However, it is possible to choose whether their hair/eyes/clothes match their signature color (and skintone) or not.
» Rules:
          ▪ Cheats are not allowed. The only exception is for the FreeRealEstate cheat when you move into your first home.
          ▪ Your starter Sim must be created using random genetics.             NOTE: It is possible to tweak him/her, as long as none of the game’s presets is used. Keep in mind that some of your Sims’ traits, aspirations and careers must be randomly chosen by a Scenario Generator.
          ▪ The first born will always be the heir for the next generation unless otherwise stated.

🌈 Generation #1:  CORAL
Gender: x // Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x // Career: x
     You are a fiery yet fun-loving young Sim with a liking for clubs and nightlife. You rarely make plans, and if you have to, you're most likely going to mess them up in order to follow your instinct. But you never give up, whatever result you get from your – sometimes reckless – decisions.
REQUIREMENT: Hot-headed trait.
» GOALS:
Get invited to a Club and become their leader;
Adopt a large dog;
Maximize Mischief and Dancing skills;
Have at least 5 lovers;
Get married and have one child after reaching the Adult phase.
🌈 Generation #2: PUMPKIN
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x
     You're almost never seen without a bright, wide smile plastered on your face, and if you’re gloomy, it’s most likely because your batch of cookies didn’t turn out the way you wanted. Your heart belongs to the kitchen – and your furry minions – and your mission is to make your neighborhood a little happier everyday with your bakery. As you always say: Good Food is Good Mood.
REQUIREMENT: Goofball trait.
» GOALS:
Adopt at least 3 red cats;
Maximize Cooking and Baking skills;
Unlock and learn all recipes;
Run a bakery;
Find love, marry and have 3 children before Elder phase
The first Male will be the heir for next Generation.
🌈 Generation #3: CITRUS
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x
     You are full of energy, with a big thing for gyms and good looks. You may be a bit narcissistic, but when it comes to your skills you’re so fond of yourself that you like to share your progress and enthusiasm all over the Social Networks. You're quite scatterbrained and perhaps a bit selfish, but overall, you’re a good noodle.

» GOALS:
Social Media career;
Maximize Fitness and Videogaming skills;
Complete the Snow Globe and Postcards collection;
Propose to a childhood friend but leave her at the altar;

The first Female will be the heir for next Generation.
🌈 Generation #4: JADE
Age: Young Adult // 1 trait: x // Aspiration: x // Career: x

🌈 Generation #5: MINT
Age: Young Adult // Traits: x // Aspiration: x
     You don’t quite share your mother’s interests. You believe in balance and good health. Your main focus – quite literally – is on human beings and the wondrous way the human body works, both physically and mentally. You’re extremely dedicated to your job... although you really enjoy your moments of relax.
REQUIREMENT: Doctor career.
» GOALS:
Maximize Logic and Wellness skills;
Meditate and do Yoga at least twice a week;
Adopt a cat or a small dog;
Have 3 failed relationships before finding love with a Veterinary;
Never have children, but adopt a child before Elder stage.
🌈 Generation #6: INDIGO
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x
     Justice. There’s nothing that excites you more than investigate and solve crimes in order to punish those criminals. But your heart is a soft one, and at times one must consider and evaluate different paths before making their choice... heart or career? In your case, definitely heart.
REQUIREMENT: Good trait, Detective career.
» GOALS:
Maximize Logic and Charisma skills;
Adopt a large dog;
Find love with a Criminal before level 7 of your career;

The first Male will be the heir for next Generation.
🌈 Generation #7: PLUM
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x
    Your brains crawl with questions. Quite literally. Why do we breathe oxygen? How many stars are beyond our sight? What’s Sixam, and what wonders does it hide? Your curiosity is what pushes you forward, and you’re determined to find the answer to all of your doubts!
REQUIREMENT: Genius trait, Scientist career.
» GOALS:
Maximize Logic and Rocket Science skills;
Build a Rocket Ship;
Complete Alien, Geodes, Elements, Crystals and Space Rocks collections;
Have a relationship on the job before falling in love with an Alien;
Have two children before reaching the Adult phase.
🌈 Generation #8: LILY
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x  // Career: x
     There’s a gift in each of us, and deep within you there’s a star. Your truest passion lies in music, and you wish to make a living out of it. You may be a little frivolous, but you know what you want, and you know how to get it... don’t you?
REQUIREMENT: Music Lover trait.
» GOALS:
Maximize Singing and Guitar skills;
Write at least 25 songs and earn at least 50.000§ by singing;
Become a World Famous Celebrity;
Have an affair with an Actor;
Have 3 children from 3 different relationships.
🌈 Generation #9: BERRY
Age: Young Adult // 2 traits: x // Aspiration: x  // Career: x
     You may be born in the spotlight, but celebrity life is not all fun and games. Fun, however, are the many many colors that surround you as you paint. Creativity is your best form of expression... maybe you could also make a few extra simoleons out of it?
REQUIREMENT: Creative trait.
» GOALS:
Maximize Painting and Photography skills;
DIY — where possible — your own furniture and decorations;
Earn at least 50.000§ by painting;
Marry a Snob sim;
Divorce, remarry and have at least two children.
The first Female will be the heir of next Generation.
🌈 Generation #10: ASH
Age: Young Adult // 1 trait: x // Career: x
     Life is boring. So boring. Nobody is up to your standards, and the only places you find interesting are inside the books you read. In fact, you wish to belong somewhere else. Humans are ephemeral, empty shells. You want to become superior and immortal... like those mysterious creatures in your favourite books.
REQUIREMENT: Bookworm trait, Bestselling Author aspiration.
» GOALS:
Become a Vampire;
Maximize Writing and Vampire Lore skills;
Write at least 25 books and earn at least 50.000§ by writing;
Unlock all your Vampire Powers and become Grand Master;
Entice and marry Count Vladislaus;
BONUS: Have TWINS – you may cheat for this one!
🌈 BONUS Generation: EBONY & IVORY
Age: Toddler RANDOMIZE TRAITS + ASPIRATION FOR ONE TWIN, THEN CHOOSE THE OPPOSITES FOR THE OTHER.
     You two are the complete opposite of each other. To you, everything the other does is utterly nonsensical, and just gets on your nerves. And yet, how is it that you two just cannot have your own lives? Will this curse ever end? Maybe adulthood will finally let you part your ways... or reconcile with each other.
REQUIREMENT: The twins cannot part until the challenge is over.
» GOALS:
Maximize at least 3 skills;
Mess with each other until Teen phase;
One sibling must steal the other’s lover at least once;
Get the same part-time job during Teen phase;
Share the same room until Young Adult phase.
Will the siblings finally part? Will they reconcile? Choose your own ending!
     Thanks for reading this far! It may be cheesy and predictable at times, but I had a lot of fun writing this Challenge, so I’m excited to share it with you!
     I hope you’ll enjoy playing it as much as I do! So, good luck, and Happy Simming! ヽ(°´∀`°)ノ♪ .・:☆

The family picks up and moves to Starlight Shores (I may regret it - worst EA world ever).
After having performed in a revue or two at university, Michael has convinced everyone that the move is good for all as he carries the torch into generation 15.
Generational Rolls below the cut...
Generation 15 Rolls
Marital Status:   Single Parent
The single parent must raise all required children on his/her own, which means a spouse/partner isn’t allowed to live in the same household as the single parent and the children. The single parent may romance as much as they like, but moving in a partner to help raise those kids is what’s forbidden. Your single parent Sim may marry or have a live in partner before the first child is born or adopted, but that spouse/partner must be moved out of the household within 24 hours after the first child is born or adopted. After the first child is born, male single Sims may move in the mothers of subsequent biological children for the pregnancy only. The mother must leave the household within 24 hours after the baby is born. Single males may also use other methods, including mods or cheats, of adding their babies to the household without ever moving the mother in at all. The restriction on moving in the single parent’s partner is removed once their youngest child has reached the mid point of the teen age stage (7 days for the unaltered normal lifespan; if you’ve tweaked the teen stage, it’s whatever the halfway point is for your custom stage). After the youngest has reached the mid point of the teen stage, your single Sim may then move in or marry one partner, if you so desire (this obviously isn’t required). The partner can be anyone.
Number of Children:  4 Children
Your generation is only allowed to have 4 children. Note that exceeding this number by having accidental twins or triplets is fine, but you must not have any more children after that.
Primary Career:  Vocalist
Generational Goal:  The Opportunist
Your Heir must complete ALL Opportunities that they are presented with, with the exception of ones relating to travel. You may also skip Celebrity related opportunities if you are trying to avoid the celebrity system in this game. An opportunity can only be canceled if it becomes impossible to complete (due to the Sim who gave it to you dying, EA bugs etc.)
Miscellaneous Fun:  Hidden Heritage
The mother(s)/father(s) of the heir’s children must have a special hidden trait. These hidden traits are found on WA locals/tourists, Supernatural lifestate Sims, and certain service NPCs. To find a Foreign hidden trait Sim, you may travel to a WA location and find your partner there, or partner with a WA tourist visiting your town. You may also move any premade WA location family to your hometown. If you live in a custom world that has premade families who have the foreign hidden traits, you may also partner with one of them. (Note, the Sim must have the actual hidden trait, not just a French, Asian or Egyptian name). You may add foreign culture traits to families in your neighborhood where appropriate, or seed your town with families who have a foreign culture trait. But you may not create a Sim specifically to be the partner of your heir. For Supernatural Sims, any supernatural life state Sim that you can breed with counts: ghosts, vampire, genie, imaginary friend, fairy, werewolf, witch, alien. If you use a mod that allows breeding with Simbots, that’s fine too. As with the WA rule, you may populate your town with Supernaturals as needed, by taking families from other towns or turning your neighbors. You may add CAS created supe families to your town at any time, but you may not create a Sim specifically to be the partner of your Sim in this roll. For NPC Sims, you can partner with any suitable service NPC. The ones that have hidden traits are: Maids, Police, Firefighters, Burglars and Pizza Deliverators. Note: For this roll, playable Sims in the Crime, Law Enforcement or (Amb) Firefighter careers do NOT count. Your Sim must partner with a service NPC. Of course if you marry/move them in, they cease to be service NPCS and must take whatever secondary career you rolled, but they must start as service NPCs, not neighbors. For any category, you may edit the looks of the partner inCAS, because Vanilla Pudding is not a heritage you want to pass on to your heirs. Also, sometimes the hidden traits pass on to offspring, but sometimes they don’t. The next generation heir is not required to have a hidden trait, they just have to have a parent with one. For additional flavor, you can try to dress/decorate this generation to reflect the heritage of the hidden trait parent. This is optional, as the supernaturals or NPCs might not have a fashion or decor tradition that’s different from the standard in your town. But if the son of your maid wants to wear the maid outfit when he grows up as a family heirloom, more power to him.

I know you've seen me around a lot lately, with pretty much the same old stuff and some reiterations. If you're getting sick of me, I apologise.
A lot has been going on lately, both internally and externally, and I sometimes wonder if the two are related. I've been sick on-and-off since the summer. There's been some extreme red tide in my area that has just been knocking me and my family out. I fell back in class, but luckily managed to get a late withdrawal. I've been at basically a mental standstill, the best I can describe it, and I've had a lot of downtime, which means a lot of Sims, Neopets, and introspection. I've been evaluating my identity yet again. Nothing's changing, per se—I still identify as nonbinary demifemme/genderfluid/transmasculine. What's changing is that my transmasculinity is growing seriously stronger, which both excites and scares me.
I've always been pretty feminine, but with an internal tomboy edge. I enjoyed feminine expression while also enjoying crude humour and other “dude stuff.” I liked the idea of being ascribed “dudely” traits—crude, strong, tough. I liked the idea of being muscular (I've been doing the wheelchair since I was a kid). I remember when I was a kid being like obsessively convinced that my voice sounded like a boy's. A treasured moment was when my boyfriend, his buddies, and I would gather in our cafeteria on mornings and play a card game called “B.S.” I had a ballsy moment and used the actual curse (I was 15). I'm not sure whether I liked impressing my boyfriend or liked being “one of the guys”; maybe both. I collected die-cast cars as much as I collected dolls. I was never a baby-doll person—maybe my mother never bought that stuff for me, I don't remember—and I liked some sporty kids' shows like “Rocket Power.” I was so drawn to the concept of skateboarding and surfing. Later on, I would also become drawn to BMXing. I'm definitely not into sports, but I was attracted to the...what, the speed and adrenaline aspects or something? What would you call it?
Like many trans people, I sometimes feel fraudulent because there were no gender-defining moments in my childhood...and that is something I only realise as I type it now. I don't recall explicitly feeling like a girl or identifying with other girls (autonomously, anyway), although I certainly never identified with boys. I don't identify with the men I know; I don't feel like I'm in their camp, nor do I have any desire to be in their camp. The girls almost looked like me, so they were in my league, and we had some common interests until later on. I was never into specifically (maybe stereotypically) “girly” things like shopping, fashion, or, that I remember, boys. I've had crushes of all genders and all intensities, but I don't recall having the need to gush over them (save for the occasional writing of their names in my notebooks). I hated magazines aimed at teen girls and women; they struck me as so shallow and just one big marketing ploy. I felt like 'what, do you think all girls can do is gush over boys and makeup?' This is likely more a feminist and gay-female notion than a gender-identity notion, but it might have had some tints of identity.
Despite some tomboyishness, I never explicitly felt myself identified as masculine, but maybe I just didn't know I could. It was only this autumn that suddenly something changed—it was like the word “transmasculinity” just came up and slapped me in the face. Something seemed to have suddenly shifted, yet I still can't explain what. I just felt like a masculine identity was unlocked. It seemed like it would just be a phase, a fleeting feeling, but even so, I knew I had to explore it. I immersed myself in transmasculine/FTM culture, and found myself somehow more comfortable than ever. I loved the crowd. The people I saw, the stories I read, somehow resonated with me, and since then, my masculine streak has only been getting stronger. The best I could describe my gender blend is to break it down into percentages. Early on, I was about 50% female (or demifemme), 40% neutral, and 10% male (or transmasculine). These days, I would say that 50/40/10 has changed to about 25/40/35—a big and jarring shift for someone who's been feminine most of their life.
It's been almost two years since I first came to my nonbinary gender identity. My internal feelings hadn't changed; what changed was the realisation that I didn't have to be tied down to my assigned gender, but I still did largely identify with it, as much as I had before. I didn't really have a masculine side then. Now I do. I find myself completely puzzled by it, perplexed yet entranced yet scared...and also kind of doubtful.
I've always been quite severely disabled. Basically a lifelong wheelchair user. I grew up socialised differently. I was held apart from mainstream society. I still am. This is where doubt and confusion sometimes come in. A lot of trans narratives involve never feeling like you fit in, never feeling like you could fit the mold, never feeling like your body fits you. But I've had these all my life, and they revolve around disability, not gender. Here, I don't know where my disability ends and my gender begins—I don't know what feelings of unease, discomfort, and dysphoria I can ascribe to my disability and what I can ascribe to my gender. I always knew I could never fit the mold, no matter what gender it held. I never felt comfortable with my body—I get depressed and nauseous sometimes looking in the mirror. I can't reach back into my childhood, point to a man or a woman and say “I aspired to be them” because I knew I could never do so. I can't say I identified with anyone of any type or gender, as if I knew I was going to grow up like them, because I always knew my world was completely different than theirs. There are so many parts of society, so many physical, emotional, and social things that I don't have access to—I mean, how can I tell you what I've felt or aspired when I've never had access to a normal frame of reference, you know? How can I identify certain discrepancies in my identity when my whole existence is a discrepancy?
I also wonder how much of this sudden introspection isn't real and is just some strange byproduct of being sick. Maybe I've got too much time on my hands and I'm digging in too deeply; maybe the red tide neurotoxins are messing with my head again; maybe this masculine identity crisis is just a way to reboot my system since this semester went so terribly.
I've been checking out some trans books from my library. The first, “Gender: Your Guide” by nonbinary author Lee Airton, is a great book for both cisgender people and trans newbies. I personally didn't get much new out of it, but it was a good read. I'm currently on “Unbound: Transgender Men and the Remaking of Identity” by transwoman Arlene Stein, about transmasculinity. I almost returned it because I didn't like its tone regarding religion and politics, but when I picked it up again and started reading, it got more interesting. Although I never identified, and likely still won't, specifically as a transman, the transmale accounts resonate with me. One transman mentioned, among other things, the fact that he hated the word and ascription of “lesbian” (before he came out and transitioned). He said it was because he didn't like how it assigned him as female. I've had my own problems with the word, and wonder if that subconsciously might have been one of them. The word held me back considerably when I was coming to terms with my sexuality because I didn't like its oversexed association, its sound, or the fact that it felt like another way to hold women as separate—why are gay men “gay” but gay women have to be “lesbian”? But was there another reason for my trouble with the word? Was I resistant to it because of its gender implications? Possibly; as my transmasculinity strengthens, my conflict with the word lessens, as if because it's less applicable to me. What would my sexual identity become, then, with such a strong transmasculine gender identity? I'm still attracted to women, but also transmen—basically, anyone who isn't a cisman.
I've been pondering how to move forward with this. As strong as my transmasculine identity is, I want to hold onto my feminine identity, too (hence why one of my labels is “genderfluid”). I want to create a masc identity—find a name, figure out a look (both of which will probably just stay in my fantasy). How would I go about constructing a transmasculine identity that's slightly feminine? Or take a male name but keep my female pronouns? I really, really do not like “he/him” pronouns for myself. “They/them” are also not quite right for me, but I often use them online anyway, if only to signify my trans status. Neopronouns are not my thing, unless they're a derivative or blend of the traditional pronouns, like ey/em (“they” pronouns without “th”), shey/shem (blend of “she” and “they” pronouns), or, one I was thinking about before, hey/hem/heirs (blend of “he” and “they” pronouns), then maybe I can wrap my head around them. I've been reading about transitions and options, and I find myself conflicted. As someone severely disabled, I've had a lot of exposure to the medical field, surgeries and a lot of procedures, and I swore to myself that I would never submit to procedures that weren't 100% medically necessary. I read about top surgeries, and I have no plans to put myself through that. Hormones, however..I was opposed to them at first, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't incredibly curious about them, although I don't know how they would play with my system) and I've had more than enough needles, thank you).
This has become an incredibly long post, and I apologise. I've written essays shorter than this. This gender identity thing is just throwing me for a loop. I've been fine the last year, year-and-a-half, until summer came and shook things up, and left me God-knows-where now. A part of me loves this, loves self-exploration and finding new things, but what throws me off and makes me slightly uncomfortable is the fact that this transmasculine thing struck me so suddenly and so hard. I've never been masculine, never considered being masculine, nor could I even describe what I'm defining as masculine. It feels like it can't be real, and I'm almost afraid to think that it is. It just comes as a shock to me, and once again, I don't know what to do with it all.
I also feel a little uneasy because I would like to be able to share this with friends, but most won't understand, some might be phobic, but more than anything, it seems too personal to post on my page.

The Sims 3: Apocalypse Challenge (STORY AND STATS).
This is not my challenge. All of this info can be found in: http://ts3ac.wikispaces.com/The%20Sims%203%20Apocalypse%20Challenge
The Story
For weeks, the powers that be in Twinbrook tried to cover up what the city's sewer system had done to the swamp. The original and very corrupt city planners, trying to cut corners and redirect funds into their own pockets, had skimped on building a proper water reclamation plant and just diverted all sewage to drain into the swamp. Over the years, sims taking baths and washing dishes resulted in massive amounts of soap being dumped into this delicate ecosystem. The ground and water became saturated with it. Ecological disaster that this was all on its own, it exacerbated the natural processes brewing under the wetlands. All the composting debris of raw sewage, old foliage and fish from the distant past caused an excess of methane and other volatile swamp gasses to accumulate right under all this pollution.
This would have not been a problem except for the soap residue that saturated the area making it impossible for this miasma of toxins to dissipate gradually into the atmosphere. One day, these gases broke to the surface in an immense bubble. Like all bubbles, once it got too big, it burst in a violent eruption. The concussive shock that was generated destroyed the nuclear power plants in the region, causing a cascading melt down that leaked tons of radiation into the countryside. This conflagration destroyed the entire region, sending Similization as we know it back to the dark ages and leaving the ground scorched and barren. Nearly all life for thousands of miles was wiped out.
You have been lucky. You managed to escape the cataclysm because you were out of the region at the time. When you returned home, the Green Cross at the airport suggested you make your way to the nearest area where relief efforts were underway if you wanted to return to what was once your home. You don't know how you managed it, but you wandered until you found this sheltered, if desolate place, where civilization in the region can rebuild itself. If you are strong enough, if you are committed enough, you can lead the efforts. You and your family ...
Father founder: Richard E. Chastermen.
Advantages and Handcaps.:
Get Off My Lawn (10 point handicap):
The founder begins as an Adult rather than a Young Adult.
Occult Type.:  Witch(er).
Incompatible with Werewolfs, Genies, Vampire, or Faries and Anagathic Supply.
Blood Purity (10 point handicap).
You may marry or breed only with occults that match the type of your founder.
None of your playable Sims may Turn mundane humans in order to meet this handicap (non-playable Sims may, of course - you can't control that).
Likewise, you may not use Elixirs to transform your desired mate, or otherwise alter the occult type of your desired mate. If you marry a spouse that is already an Adult, you must immediately use birthday cake to age them to Elder.
Throw Party interaction will show you which of your acquaintances are Adults or Young Adults, though you must cancel without actually throwing the party until you have unlocked the ability to do this.
Requires either Vampires, Genies, Witches, Werewolfs, or Faries. (But we will be using a Witcher).
Bewitched: (Requires Supernatural EP, -5 point advantage) WITCHES
Your founder and all heirs must be Witches. Lifespans are set to 22 days Young Adult, 23 days Adult, 15 days Elder.
Rite of Passage: (5 point handicap)
In order to prove their worthiness as heir, before your sim can marry they must have made at least 4 good friends not including their future spouse. Not compatible with It's Hopeless
Trust No One: (5 point handicap)
Only good friends and romantic interests can be invited over to your home lot.
Only best friends and steady partners can ever be let in your house.
This restriction cannot be lifted.
Ranked chess opponents are an exception to this, but you must play outside and have to send them away immediately after if you don't know them well enough.
Ungrateful Life: (15 point handicap)
You may not buy any lifetime rewards at all, ever.
Doesn't apply to Forty Thieves and their Dusty Old Lamps.
Doesn't apply to The Siren's Call and Mermadic Kelp for the founder.
Heavily Guarded: (-5 points advantage)
The local militia is very vigilant, providing longer safe hours for being outside.
Your sims can stay outside 2 hours longer than usual.
Adults from 6AM to 9PM
Teens 8AM to 5PM
Zombie Days you must be inside between 10PM and 6AM
The Eyes Have It: (5 point handicap)
All heirs must have the same eye color as the founder. It should be unique in your world and not used by premade townies.
You may substitute hair or skin color, but you must chose which will be identifying physical trait to pass down before you start the challenge.
When creating your founder make sure to use a distinct color such as yellow eyes, purple skin or blue hair to make it easy to identify.
Skin color may be difficult as they may 'blend'. It is good to use a skin color you can easily recognize in any shade possible (like the multicolored "berry" skin, other oddly colored skins or a custom skin you can easily tell apart).
Incompatible with Green Revolution.
Please, note that it is the actual skin type that needs to be inherited, not the exact color. If you choose a multicolored skin, it doesn't matter if the heir is blue, green or yellow. Everything counts as long as it is a part of the multicolored skin your founder is using.
You will define your sims Network at the beginning of the challenge. Your Network will be the only lots you can visit until Military restrictions are lifted. It shall be comprised of the following lots:
3 neighbors ( Moonlight Falls , Twinbrook & Bridgeport .)
1 Rabbit hole (City Hall)
1 Big park (you may NOT choose Festival Grounds or the Performance Park as your big park)
1 Non-park Community lot. ( Beach )
Choose Your Apocalypse Lot
Choose the largest, empty, residential lot between 40x40 and 64x64 in size that is available in your world.
If you have trouble with lag, you may take the largest lot size that doesn't bog your game down.
If you took Cramped Much? handicap, place down (or choose premade) 10x10 lot to start with.
Once you plant your founder on your lot, you may not move them to any other lot in the neighborhood.
64x64 lots already cost $8192 Simoleons, leaving you with $8308 simoleons.
If you choose a smaller lot, you must reduce your sims available funds immediately to $8308 simoleons
You can use the testingcheatsenabled true then familyfunds <familyname> 8308 cheats to do this easily.
Alternately, you may determine how much you need to reduce your family funds by, and then purchase goods from the buy menu until you only have $8308 simoleons left. Put these goods into your family inventory box in buy mode and never touch them again.
For anyone wanting to start your Tournament Founder on a pre-made lot w/house already built you do NOT get $8,308 as your leftover money after you buy. You will need to buy your house and then do this equation: 8308 - (lot w/house price - lot size price) = how much money you have left for books and other building/buying. EXAMPLE: I buy a pre-made house on a 10x10 lot. The price is $4,599 and the 10x10 lot costs $200. 8308-(4599-200)=3909. I would then familyfunds my founder to have 3909 simoleons.
You must do this BEFORE you go buy your books or add anything to your lot/house.
Make sure the lot you are moving your founder in to has no trees, shrubs, flowers or other decorations, and the ground is painted with a dirt or sand texture.
Create Your Sim
Choose your occult restriction. (Witcher). See this page for details.
By default, with no game start advantages or handicaps, you will use the following rules:
Your founder will start as a Young Adult of whichever gender you choose.
You can choose your founder's starting lift freely.
Your founder does not go to University unless you take Higher Education advantage.
Create a Sim in CAS.
Move your founder Sim to the Apocalypse Lot.
See above - by default, your Sim will be a young adult (unless you take Get Off My Lawn handicap, in which case your founder starts as an Adult) male or female, life state according to your chosen occult restriction.
Your Sim may have any Life Time Wish you want and have any traits you want (unless you take Nobody's Perfect handicap, in which case certain traits are off-limits). You are not limited on how they look (unless you take The Eyes Have It handicap) or what they wear.
If you choose to create a supernatural sim, refer to the specific Supernatural Sims rules for any game play considerations concerning your founder and their family.
Find a Job
By default you may choose any of the base 19 lifts for your founder to pursue.
If you chose I'm sorry, you're overqualified handicap, you are required to choose your founder's starting lift at random from the list below:
If you chose to send your founder to University, choose your career first. Then you can choose your major to fit that job. You have to first finish your University time before you can actually take the job.
Generate a number between 1 and 6 with an online number generator or a 6 sided (square) die.
Random.org is an easy online random number generator to use.
Choose your career from one of the three (or four) options available on the result you rolled.
The List:
Roll of 1: Architect / Athletic / Business
Roll of 2: Communications / Criminal / Culinary
Roll of 3: Education / Entertainment / Espionage
Roll of 4: Forensics / Journalism / Master Thief
Roll of 5: Medical / Military / Naturalist
Roll of 6: Paranormal / Politics / Science / Symphonic
After you choose your starting lift, you must immediately walk to register for the career required for your lift. You can do it regardless of other restrictions in place. If there are more ways to clear your restriction, you can choose any one of them.
Furnish your house
You are, in general, limited to a buy item cost of $1000 simoleons or less for any item you purchase.
Go to the Book Store and purchase at least 3 skill books (ONLY skill books allowed). You are REQUIRED to purchase at least 3 books at the beginning of the challenge!
You are allowed to purchase a single Sloppy Jalopy.
As some items within the allowed price range are not allowed for various reasons, refer to the Buy and Build item restrictions.
If you are sending your sim to University, refer to the University Life rules about buying books.
This will be the ONLY time you are allowed to go out in the neighborhood and go shopping until you have lifted relevant restrictions.
You may buy as many of the toddler skill books and any of the adult skill books you want. (Note that the "Jimmy Sprockett" books are not skill books.)
You are highly encouraged to purchase the Gardening books as they are the only way to learn Gardening if you cannot go to the library.
You may visit the Consignment Store to buy skill books (ONLY skill books allowed). You may visit both the Consignment Store and the Book Store on the first day of the challenge, if desired, but you must purchase a minimum of 3 books total.
You must place a car parking space on the ground within your 8x8 area and keep your car placed on that space when ever you are at home with it.
If you own the Classically Cool Fixer Upper from the store you may purchase this instead of the Sloppy Jalopy. Refer to Store Content in Science for restrictions concerning this car.
It's time to start your Apocalypse Challenge!!
