So I'm back currently and have started to post once again over on Berry Storytelling Guild. My Blossom 100bc will also be continueing over there. It's actually already ready for gen 2 in game. // Cataleya is from Henford-on-Bagley (definitely inherited a bit of a southern/farmer accent ykwim), she appreciates the quiet life of living in Henford like no other, while she grew up in a VERY busy home (6 sims, 10 if you count her kids who come along later), she was very prone to sticking to her room, she preferred to have her own place in silence, which is what she misses the most from Henford now that she's moved, there's a bit of a sparking hatred for Henford however simply because of her Mother, she attaches her Mother and Henford together, which she tries not to, but she finds it rather difficult. Now she lives in Copperdale, in a home just small enough to support her, and her four little creatures (kids)

// That there is no point in having big families (5+, 2 adults/parents, and 3 or more kids), She's rather biased since she grew up in a large home and also has kids, but she doesn't necessarily have the same maternal tendencies/feelings/instincts(?) that a Mother would have, so while she loves her kids, she would happily give at least 2 of them up, she believes that bigger families are pointless because "why would you wanna spend more money then you have to, just have one kid and continue the bloodline" (in her words, something along those lines), she sorta views family more as a continuation of the bloodline then people you love and care about, it's very hard to tell with her since she teeters between the two views, but she does firmly believe that bigger families are a waste of money.

Survival of the fittest.

Hart Legacy Recap - Gen 3, Part 5 (LAST ONE I PROMISE)

The pregnancy was blessedly uncomplicated, and before they knew it, Holly and Kellan were welcoming their baby daughter, Rose Hart, into the world.

They took to parenting like a fish to water, especially Kellan, who decided to leave his job and become a stay-at-home father- Holly had always been the primary breadwinner anyway.

Meanwhile, Holly went back to work (and got a gig in an apartment for the first time, which totally broke the career for this save. thanks sims functional game fr), Guidry befriended the cat, and they attended a family pool party for the summer solstice, where Kellan quickly bonded with his new niece Marina.

Everything was going well- right up until Kellan got up one too many times in the night to shush Rose and didn't make it back to bed, instead passing out on the floor in front of the fire and ultimately overheating to death.

Holly was- understandably- distraught by the loss. Guidry and his friend Bonehilda were quick to step up with the housework, and auncle Luke volunteered childcare for a while, to allow Holly to come to terms with it.

Slowly, and with the help of her extensive support system, Holly was slowly able to return to her normal life. And, at Luke's suggestion, she adopted a puppy to keep the now-elderly Pickles company, a bernese mountain dog whom she named Tiny.

First of all thanks so much!! More to come soon. ⭐⭐⭐ As for the question, yeah, absolutely! I've been in the anime/manga/tokusatsu trenches for all of my life. Steeped in weeb juice since I was a kid, like a kind of horrible doki doki pickle. As for, like, direct inspo...? I don't think it's anything in particular, but I'm definitely operating in the framework of Magical Girl and Super Sentai shows in general. I love the high stakes melodrama of the former and the low budget intensity of the latter. Sims is suitable for both of those, tonally... add a dash of the inherent homoeroticism of Shounen battle manga, and that's the secret formula.

Since that feels like a cop out answer, here is a shortlist of general influences: Sailor Moon (anything Magical Girl-influenced made by a westerner has Sailor Moon DNA), Card Captor Sakura (to me, this is the pinnacle of Magical and Girl), early seasons of Power Rangers from when I was a kid, Kamen Rider (Amazon from 2016 especially lmao it's so edgy <3), Bleach (I can make a passionate argument this is a Magical Girl show if you get a shot of tequila in me), Tokyo Mew Mew ('s villains), aaand Princess Tutu, let's say, for my prestige pick.

Isla Paradiso Lag Fix

Hey Guys, so since I did a challenge that uses Isla Paradiso (Life is a Pickle) I thought i should do a courtesy post about how to fix lag issues in Isla.  Below is a post that I found which helped my game out tremendously.  If you delete out these lots (they cause glitches for townies and random sims and in turn makes the world lag) you should have either minimal or no lag.  I’ve tested this and it did work for me.  I did 5 generations of a legacy challenge in Isla without any issues.

If you’re going to do my Life is a Pickle Challenge, this is probably necessary for Generation 1.

I wanted create a single dad challenge with spice. This dad hates kids he is the worse person , he does what he has to, but not from a place of love.

He hates kids because he thinks they have ruined his life, He was happily married to the love of his life, he never wanted kids, but he loved his wife so much he’d do anything for her. She desperately wanted kids so to make her happy he agreed. His 1st true love died shortly after giving birth, in a house fire, he believes the stress of the baby and lack of sleep caused her to be careless in the kitchen or she thought she’d celebrate with fireworks indoors…. so he was never the same again. it’s a very sad really. he went off the rails. He spent his nights and days getting drunk in bars and picking up women. Till he got himself in a pickle of baby mama drama.

Raise 7 kids alone from birth till young adults. When your 1st child/children ages up to a toddler/s they can stay with a family member (sleep over), as the house will be too full to keep kids there while the last child and mother are there. Move the toddlers back in after you've had your last child.

Lot trait, on the ley line, flirty, and your choice for last one. once you have all your kids you can change the lot traits. life span long. No youth potion allowed

Create family members, grandparents or aunties and uncles or best friends, that live somewhere else to watch your 1st born(sleep over) while we make space in the house. if you end up with more than 7 kids because of twins you can give one back to there mum(This will make for a nice spin off for a long lost twins series). As the eldest needs to come back home.

Considering the fact you'd been actively trying for a baby, he'd probably keep track of your cycle. He's surprisingly meticulous when he gets out of his himbo zone.
