And YEAHHH HappyEle really went and had us adopt 5 new kids just recently and they're adorable! I found myself immediately attached to Yume (the purple-haired one) when he was first introduced in the 9th anniv livestream because we share a birthday, not to mention he also plays piano and does cosplay??

It made me a little giddy about it like did they put my OC on Enstars or something /j what are the odds I suddenly have a buncha things in common with an Enstars character— (Plus coser representation!!)

I haven't read much but based on a few simple translations, the new main story arc involves certain ES idols auditioning for a worldwide(?) dream unit in a show called "4piece" and we even have a new producer!

I think what's interesting about this arc is that it would focus more on the idols' individual strengths outside of their respective units

Also, I think Chiaki's also part of the audition based on how he appeared on the PV they showed in the 9th anniv livestream so I'm looking forward to it~

I'm not sure if you've seen this one too but JPstars' April fools gag this year was so WILDDD they even have a full song for it

They basically collaborated with Yagami Chitose, who is an actual shoujo mangaka artist, for the story and illustrations in the MV

The story itself involves a ton of shoujo manga tropes (including Hajime / the MC somehow bumping into 4 people at once) and it was a fun read lol

You can even change the characters while the text and their voices change accordingly so imagine the opportunities for both yumes and shippers 👀

Unfortunately for Obey Me Nightbringer, I've yet to catch up to the Main Story again because of the card grinding ;w;

But aside from Anniversary and All the Feels, they've been cooking with cards too! It takes a toll on players' funds because you need card dupes for them but the new Premium Picture feature looks so divine?? Don't even get me started on the shower pics—

Even though I was a bit iffy about the sudden story reboot in the new game, I still appreciate some of the details they changed, including MC living with Solomon at Cocytus Hall instead of them staying with the brothers (since it makes a bit more sense that they'd be closer to Sol as a fellow human), and Satan's more evident wrath compared to the OG game

We even get to enjoy random domestic moments with Sol like this one~ Since we pretty much live together with him, we sound like a married couple (though a lot of those moments involve banning him from the kitchen)

For childhood crush reader w dottore, I feel like when they arrive in Snezhnaya with Dottore, both of them are still getting used to the new area, environment, and climate. The lab there is quite new to both of them and of course, you're dutifully assisting him with everything. The only thing was that he didn't inform you of a long-term project he was planning.

You began to suspect he was hiding something from you but didn't push the topic too much. He was strange and you were used to it. But you sure were not expecting to be presented with two other people who looked identical to your lover, just a few years younger. You were almost sure you were hallucinating until Zandik commanded one of them to touch you, and the clones' touch is very, very real.

Initially, you are a bit iffy about it. I mean, seeing three copies of your lover walking around is naturally jarring. You really don't know how to talk to them even though they're literally past versions of your lover. At first, you were even worried it would turn into some science fiction apocalyptic scenario where the creations overthrew the creator. But the way they look at you with such adoration is enough to make you give them a chance. Soon enough, you become immune to a new clone popping up. It's a usual occurrence by now!

I think fragile reader would more warrant a "who the fuck are those 👉 *the segments*" reaction. I remember once I wrote that they fell asleep for many years due to illness and woke up one day to a bunch of blue-headed folks in the room. Your jaw is dropped the whole time once you see how many clones there are all lined up in a row. It is a real shocker to wake up to, but Zandik seems quite proud of them. And well, you can't blame him. Although it takes you a while to share his enthusiasm, you grow more than fond of them. Though it was quite awkward to have so many pairs of eyes focused on you whenever you were in the room. You knew they were only clones, but having so many people liking you this much was an unfamiliar feeling.

hihi I'm back again, and here to ask who in the cast you think has the skill to do hair/up do's?

I'm 5'9, but my hair is now down to my mid thigh, and like around three feet long ?? I haven't chopped it since 2018, only trimmed it. Yet I only know how to do a simple braid, my hair basically lives in a low ponytail lol (though my mom will still do my hair if I ask her for help, which I'm grateful for)

anyway I got to read vol 2 of the manga and I remembered that the artist drew their interpretation of Lilith. So, it made me wonder if Beel or Belphie would know how to do hair, since they were the closest to her, and if she ever asked them for help?

I think Levi would be able to follow any tutorial, or figure out how to do something by trial and error since he cosplays (I bet he made his ruri-chan wig himself). I'd love to show him a picture of the heroine from whatever anime I'm watching and ask if he could help me recreate their style

Asmo we've seen in the dame cards, he's done some cute hairstyles!! I bet I could go to him if I had a fancy event.

I still think about Mammon's dame card... The chokehold it has on me is wild. We saw him do his own make-up in the art, and I think it was said he made his own outfit. So he's a maybe I could go to him? Or he'd put a lot of effort into learning because he knows it'd make me happy lolol

my last thought is if you can just do stuff with magic instead. Does it drain your energy to keep the style, or is it a one and done kinda spell, and don't gotta worry about it? Could a really powerful sorcerer change their hair color, and never have to worry about it fading? That'd be really cool, since I need to re dye the streaks in my hair. That would save lots of money LOL

HOW do you handle having hair that long?!?

I'm 5'7" and I used to have my hair down to my low back. It was during the pandemic when I couldn't exactly go get it cut, so I just let it grow lol. And it grows dang fast, but I don't think I've ever had it past the low back area??? Do you accidentally sit on it sometimes? Or is it usually okay because you have it tied back?

All I know is I was so relieved to chop it all off lol! It's super short now, which is how I like it. It takes me ten minutes to wash and style it. I just don't have the patience to maintain it when it's long. And it's naturally curly, so having it short also means I can just let it curl and not worry about it. Ah but I am pretty envious because I always wanted to be able to have one of those really long, thick braids...

Anyway, getting off topic here, back to the question! I do think magic can be used to alter hair! I think sometimes you can get stuff that's temporary (I do believe there was a daily chat about this where Asmo put some kind of potion or something on Lucifer and Mammon?), but I would be surprised if there wasn't some kind of magic spell to permanently keep your hair whatever color you want. I think it's probably just a one and done situation so you wouldn't have to maintain it. Or at least, they'd want to develop something like that because otherwise it wouldn't be worth it right?

As for the characters, I agree with your assessments! I do think in a general sense, they'd all try their best to do your hair if you needed them to.

But as for who would already be capable without having to learn first, I think Asmo is a top contender. Barb can absolutely do anything and I don't doubt that styling hair is something a good butler should know.

I think Levi is another good option for the same reasons you said! I think he probably does have some skill at wig styling! And due to his ability to do costuming in general, I kinda think he'd be able to do a good job on real hair as well if he wanted to.

I love the idea of Beel and Belphie being good at it because of Lilith. Like I'm imagining they only know some really basic styles that were her favorites, but they're happy to do them for you any time. Maybe they get a little misty eyed while doing it because it reminds them of her so much. Awww...

I actually think Lucifer would do a good job, too, but expect to be sitting around for hours because he's gonna make sure no hair is out of place. Only perfection will suffice.

I think Mammon probably mastered whatever style he needed for his dame outfit, but I do think he would learn for you if you wanted him to.

Satan probably already learned from a book or maybe just from watching Asmo doing his hair. But I could see him wanting to do really elaborate styles or maybe using magic to style your hair.

I think Solomon would also be someone you could try, but he would absolutely use magic. I think if you really wanted him to, he would know how to do simple styles by hand. I could see him being really happy to carefully braid your hair by hand. But he wouldn't be able to resist a little bit of magic, maybe to give it an extra sparkle or a streak of color~ I think he'd develop all kinds of hair styling magic if you wanted him to lol.

Diavolo strikes me as willing but perhaps not the best at this particular thing... he doesn't exactly have experience with his own hair.

And I'm not sure about Simeon. I feel like he's pretty competent (except for technology obviously), so he would probably be able to learn how to do it fairly easily. But I don't know if he'd already have some knowledge. Same with Raphael. Though I love the idea of both of them like... doing the hair of little angels~

Mephisto would know about a bunch of fancy Devildom styles, but would he be able to do them? I think you might end up with your hair braided like a horse's mane instead.

Thirteen would know how to do everything. She's got her own long hair and there's no way that she hasn't experimented with it over the years! I love the idea of her doing your hair and her own hair in the same style so you match.

Some Genshin events are really enjoyable, but for some some it feels like I have to drag my feet through it. I try to have an optimistic outlook for each event, but the ones that involve fighting are really not my favorite. ^^;;

Yes, I main Aether! To this day he is the strongest out of my characters (although ever since I got Childe he went to second strongest). When I first started playing, I didn't understand the wish system at all so I didn't do it and instead worked hard to build the starter team. ୧ʕ•̀ᴥ•́ʔ୨ I still use them, even in the Spiral Abyss!! And Aether always stays on my team no matter what. :D I can't wait to give him his very first crown! But before that I'd like to stock up on more resources. orz

- Pretty much before Phil found Techno, he was pretty aloof. He's been immortal for a grand majority of his life and so time and mortality are kind of hard to grasp for him. He doesn't put down roots anywhere, travels a lot, builds grand things and explores old ruins, and gets into a lot of trouble. He knows he only has one life, but he's crafty and he's mischievous, and despite people's best efforts, he somehow always manages to get out of trouble relatively unscathed. So he's reckless, but tactfully so. And he often makes the mistake of losing years at a time to his adventures only to come back to a town where he'd once had friends to find they're just names on headstones now. He got so accustomed to it that he stopped really caring. It was only after he formed a sort of unusual bond with a young piglin shifter far from home that he regained a care for the mortality and lifespan of others. And he regained it hard. Almost becoming paranoid over it.

- Phil has a tattoo most people don't know about! He got it in his first century to mark the turn of a hundred years. It's on the back of his neck / shoulder blades area and it's a hardcore heart with black wings and feathers, kind of like this but nicer and in full color

Only a handful of people know it exists, not because he's trying to hide it or anything, he just never thinks to bring it up.

- Up until having Wilbur, Phil kept his hair pretty long. Usually around mid shoulder blade length. There wasn't too much of a reason for this despite him just liking the freedom of the wind in his hair while he flies. He also liked being able to do a lot with it, but being a father is a bit of a handful and babies are messy and he got tired of having to deal with long hair all the time before just cutting it to chin length on a whim. The longest it's been since then is how long it is now, sitting just above / around shoulder length. He transferred his skills in making his hair look fancy onto messing with Techno's hair and often spent a lot of time playing with and putting it into fancy hairstyles. Techno never minded much, and Phil will still do it to Techno when they get down time. Phil finds playing with people's hair to be really relaxing and methodical.

- Phil has a fair few scars though because of how long he's lived, a lot of them are very old and faded to the point you can barely see them at all anymore. The longer he's lived the better he's gotten at avoiding grave injury. That got extra easy for him after he and Techno started travelling together seeing how Techno barely lets anyone or anything touch Phil in combat. It makes it very easy for Phil to be even more deadly then he already is with the attention in a fight focused on someone else. That doesn't mean Phil doesn't have any scars though, even the greatest of fighters still get overpowered and make mistakes. And Phil has enough scars to make people concerned. Most of them are arm and torso injury, though he did take a few pretty bad scars to his legs that still act up in phantom pain from time to time.

- The most noteworthy scar he has though isn't from combat, it's a scar across his right palm that matches a scar on Techno's left palm, both having cut the wounds into their hands as a symbolic binding to unify them.

Because your looking hellafine." and the 2nd one was "are you an ars*nist? because you light up my world." She gave me flowers two times!! Im happy for that tho^^ but i rejected her those 2 times. Barb said to my friend she was gonna continue until i accepeted her....

Random headcanon: Cosplay convention

Nico:

Nico is the first one to jump at the idea when she finds out V has never been to a cosplay convention. She loves those because people just let their creativity flow and she is among them. Creating an impressive cosplay that lets her display her genius, oh that’s right up her alley.

Of course the work on the van and Nero’s Devil Breakers go first, but the Queen of Machines can juggle that and more if needs be. If she’s going to a convention, you can bet she’s going to show off something that’s flashy and functional.

She’s all for helping the others find something they want to dress up in as well, they don’t even have to take something as spectacular as she does, if they don’t want to. If they do, she’s all for helping them with something on the more mechanical style as sewing and fabrics aren’t her thing.

Honestly, she just wants her friends to come along, try the event out. If someone really doesn’t want to dress up, she won’t push the suggestion too much but if she can work on them for a bit, they might open up to it. She’s the one to convince V to come along, claiming she can find just the right character for him.

Though Nico is able and considered fixing a workable Gundam costume (complete with rockets and guns, could it get better?!), she ultimately chose Mei Hatsume from My Hero Academia as her own cosplay character because let’s face it, it would let her show off more of her creations.

The costume itself she found online, cheap and the inventions are the important part, so that’s all good for her. A prototype is customized to function as a flying skateboard for anyone who wants to try, an Overture is remodeled to set off (harmless) fireworks rather than demon-killing sparks, a Dr Faust replica with built-in video and audio to teach you Michael Jackson moves on the go, she brings an array of different inventions and many are a success with younger audiences.

Nero (& Kyrie):

Nero’s never been to a cosplay convention, he’s just as new to them as V is. As a kid, he wanted to dress up and go to gatherings like that because it looked fun and hopefully no one would look at him funny, as they did in the Order.

Now that he feels more secure in his own skin, having come to terms with his heritage and how he can use it to protect his family, Nero doesn’t feel the immediate need to dress up for the convention but when Kyrie mentions it might be fun, he falls for the suggestion.

Whenever the orphans’ clothes get holes, Kyrie fixes them with her sewing but she is uncertain she has the skills and the time to fix herself and Nero matching outfits in time for the convention, when they have both decided they’ll go. And Nico has convinced them that they’ll have the most fun if they dress up.

Nero is supportive, he’s fine with whichever costume Kyrie wants to do, he doesn’t push and he’s fine with just going as they are as well if it spares Kyrie some trouble, but the kids are very insistent. And Kyrie sometimes has a hard time saying no to them.

Knowing it’s one of Kyrie’s favorite Disney movies, Nero suggests Beauty and the Beast for the two of them. Kyrie wants Nero to have fun and get the whole experience by dressing up, but at first, she is a little bit hesitant about his suggestion. She never wants Nero to feel like she doubts him or his humanity ever again.

They have been through a lot and so, they just talk it out, ending the discussion with soft whispers of love and care and in agreement over their choice.

As for their costumes, they don’t buy anything new. They check their closets for anything unused or something that can just be adjusted. In their eyes, the details don’t have to be perfect as long as they are both having fun. Kyrie also has a field day trying to put make-up on Nero’s face for the Beast look. Honestly, she does a good job. And the clothes she adjusted for Nero’s blue Beast attire, as well as her own blue and white dress for Belle, look great and she feels proud over her work.

At the convention, Nero will make sure to keep an eye on her, make sure she won’t be dehydrated or stay on her feet for too long in queues. It’s mostly unexplored ground for both of them, but they have a lot of fun just people-watching and following the three orphans under their care around, as the boys point out characters that they know everywhere. If the boys don’t recognize someone, they’ll run right up and ask.

Their camera roll is full of pictures of other cosplayers and the kids posing at the end of the day. And Nico snuck in a few pictures of Nero and Kyrie as well.

Dante:

It’s a party, Dante’s interested, enough said. He doesn’t mind grabbing the most ridiculous outfits if it gives him the love of the crowd. At a convention, people of all ages gather so it will be some simple, awesome fun.

As for him choosing a cosplay, the Dr. Faust hat has made him realize he rocks wearing a hat so he initially thought of cosplaying Alucard from Hellsing but after realizing V would cosplay another Alucard, he switched gears. Actually, Dante might just prefer cosplaying a character that likes having fun, just like he does.

By coincidence, he found Vash the Stampede from Trigun and though there is no hat involved, hey, the guy rocks red just as well as Dante does and he uses guns. Does Dante know anything about the character? Not really but that doesn’t stop him from rocking it. Plus, Dante already has red clothes, it’s just a matter of going into character because adjusting those clothes, he knows not how to do.

At said convention, he instantly clicks with a Deadpool cosplayer and they dance to Michael Jackson songs. They also photobomb some cosplay shoots, all in good fun. He lives for the spirit of people just having fun and humans just being humans, gathering thanks to a common interest.

Dante is the type who comes to a convention with several outfits. Or at least he would, if he had enough money for it. Since most of his paycheck goes to keeping the gas, water and electricity at Devil May Cry running, he resorts to simple, but effective ways to show off character, both his own and from other series.

V:

When the idea of going to a cosplay convention is first introduced to him, along with what it actually entails, he’s a bit skeptical. Nico telling him that there will be a ton of people doesn’t really sell him on it as he’s not that fond of crowds. But hearing that many will dress up as characters from stories they enjoy catches his attention. If he agrees to go, maybe he should be sure to make the most of it. And when Nico notices that shift in his demeanor, she keeps pushing him to join, juuust a bit.

For V, cosplay sounds like a way to show appreciation for characters and the stories they star in. Being the big fan of literature and poetry that he is, this aspect of the event does trigger his interest but when Nico gives him the idea to try out cosplay himself, she suggests that he shouldn’t go with cosplaying William Blake. Griffon laughs out loud at the mere idea but his suggestion of V cosplaying as a Disney princess (the orphans under Nero’s and Kyrie’s care have tried to show the avian various Disney movies, further adding to his arsenal of nicknames for V), is equally shot down.

V does want to put some thought and care into who to cosplay, but he also acknowledges his lack of sewing skills and is not too into the thought of buying a costume for himself with his limited funds. Kyrie offers to help but he is hesitant to accept it, seeing how she is trying to make something wearable for both herself, Nero and three little boys.

Ultimately, Nico and surprisingly, Dante become his greatest helpers. The childhood home of the sons of Spardas might have mostly fallen apart, but there are still some of their father’s old black robes in one of the rooms. It needs some adjustments, being too big on V’s lean frame, but the length is pretty spot on.

Nico demonstrates an automatic multi-tool that includes both measuring and sewing capabilities, as well as a laser pointer and a demon alarm that accidentally trips when Griffon is present. V doesn’t ask why she saw the necessity to put all of those functions together, but in the end, two of them are helpful for their situation. And she will show it off at the convention, as part of her genius.

How Dante does it, V doesn’t know, but one day, a long blonde wig is delivered to Devil May Cry, perfect for his decided cosplay. Turns out Dante’s flirt with the lady at the costume shop was helpful.

Ultimately, V feels very satisfied with his appearance as Alucard from Castlevania. The black robes are a different material from his regular leather vest but it’s still in black and thus, he feels right at home in it rather quickly. The long blonde wig takes some more time to adjust to.

What he had not anticipated were people asking to photograph him in this getup but thankfully, V took his time to research his character’s lines and mannerisms. Alucard is a gentleman, so V doesn’t find it very hard at all.

During the convention, Nero and Kyrie have enough on their plate, keeping an eye on the boys, so Nico usually stays close to V. Their chosen media are not anything alike, but that hardly matters. Nico is easily swept up in the excitement of the convention and seeing her makes V think that letting loose once in a while isn’t so bad.

Griffon stars in V’s cosplay as well, dressed up as a bat.

The next day, V will be a bit socially exhausted. Expect him to keep to himself with his book and tea for a good remainder of the day.

For the purpose of checking out the acting ability of the 6 members, different patterns of "smile" were shown. At the end of a heated discussion in the round table discussion, a member who is good at telling lies was revealed!? (The interview was taken in the middle of February.)

Motodaka: We did a cosplay where we shouldn't be recognized. During that time, I desperately covered everyone with my body so that everyone's disguise will not be caught by Bana-san's sight LOL. It was an acting where I used my whole body.

Sugeta Rinne:

I see off my younger sister, who is taking the national examination, at 6 this morning.I want her to do her best that she can use all the effort she exerted up to this day. Not only my sister, but Rinne and my younger brother also got a charm from our papa. Rinne's charm is a prayer for the success of the stage play.

I went fishing for the first time with my brother who is 4 years younger than me. My brother caught a large number of fishes that I can't imagine that it was his first time. The total amount of catch we had that day was 77 horse mackerels! It was so delicious when I made it into namerou (finely chopped fish with miso paste) that it disappeared in no time.

Caster Gilgamesh

Oh, Gilgamesh actually really adores hearing your voice. He always teases that he gets sick of it, but that’s so far from the truth. Your voice is both soothing and uplifting as you can match nearly every genre, and he can’t help but just love how you can’t seem to help yourself once you get super excited over a certain song.

He already knew you loved singing, but when he saw you prancing along to the beat of the song, he was stunned to the point where he couldn’t even tease you about it. When you caught a glimpse of him mid-spin though, you nearly trip over your own feet as you ran off to hide behind the curtains that lead to your closet. He’s staring stupidly at you, and you’re honestly so flustered and scared that he’d make fun of you.

Yet instead of his usual playful teasing, there’s appreciation in his tone of voice. It surprises you, and it takes a while for him to coax you away from your hiding spot. When he finally manages to pull you into full view, he encourages you to do it again. It stuns you that he says this, and at first you thought it was just to amuse him, but when the softness in his eyes and the way he gently holds your wrist is proof enough that he genuinely wants to see you perform for him.

It’s babysteps. Finding the courage to face Gilgamesh like how you face the mirror is hard for you. Your confidence wavers, but when he smiles and gestures for you to flaunt your talent, you find yourself slowly finding the ability to do so. You may mess up on the lyrics every now and then, but once you get into the swing of things you flourish beautifully.

Every note you hit, every beat you move on - each one is executed so beautifully that it causes Gilgamesh to lose his breath. He can’t take his eyes off of you, and quite honestly, he doesn’t want anyone else to see this side of you. He wants to hog it all to himself, and though it may result in some harsh words, if it means that he can keep you all himself, he’ll do it. He knows that the chances are high that you’ll misunderstand, but he’s certain that he can get you to understand.

Merlin

Magi Mari is an idol to all, but honestly Merlin’s ideal of idol is you. You’re witty, you’re funny, and most of all, you’re talented. Whether it’s cosplaying or recreating outfits of your favorite idols - virtual or real - you match them to a T. It really does help that your voice can emulate most of their high pitched voices and songs.

If Merlin ever caught you singing and dancing, he’d probably tease you to death about it. But he doesn’t need to catch you doing it when he’s known that you’ve done it. He’s seen you practice in your room so many times, he’s gotten used to hearing your voice weakly echoing through the walls.

Merlin doesn’t know how to react though when he stumbles into your room as you were copying a certain virtual idol’s make up. He doesn’t know what to say, and honestly, he wasn’t sure what to do. He wants to encourage you, but he’s just so shocked cause, gods, you look so much like Magi Mari it’s kind of scaring him.

When he gets a pillow thrown straight to his face, he wasn’t expecting you to literally push him out of the room. Was there anything wrong with him walking in on his significant other as they were cosplaying and singing along to different songs? He hopes not.

When you finally let him back into the room, your face is flushed red and he’s certain it’s not the make up. You’re rambling about how it’s embarrassing and how he really shouldn’t have seen any of that. He knows that you won’t shut up unless he interrupts, and so he does. His compliments literally floor you. He can tell from the way your mouth dropped and then closed and then opened like a fish. From thereon after, Merlin becomes your manager and coach. He’s constantly making sure that you sound the best you do.
