Last night, I had such fucking bizarre dreams, but within the mashup of complete randomness were three separate sex dreams with three very different people…
Samoth from Emperor - Unsurprising as I think he's quite attractive. Appeared as how he looked in his twenties. Was so good at going down on me that dream me almost strangled the poor man with my thighs. He didn’t seem to mind. Might one shot it. Need a visual? He’s the guy in front:

And now onto the next two dreams…
Adele - I BEG YOUR PARDON, BRAIN? Never even gotten so much as a coochie twinge from this woman, and she isn’t unattractive per se, but totally not my type. She was a tease who knew exactly what she was doing, though.
Jimi Hendrix - I have nothing against the greatest guitarist who ever lived, but this was also a non-standard one. I got a good banging nonetheless 🤣🤣
Yeah my brain is odd. Interspersed with those were dreams about me missing the turn off for McDonalds and fighting two guys in a Turkish takeaway 😂😂
How’s everyone else? Because I’m over here like whaaaa? 🤣

Now that I’m nearly finished with Noel’s Autobiography, here’s probably the three top anecdotes from his time in the experience.

Villanova Junction....this is that song, the bridge from the old blues of Robert Johnson to where Hendrix was going... you can almost hear his whole discography get run though in these vibes

Daddy, will you put the record with the duck song?
One day I put it on a Hendrix record and my son asked me: «Dad, who is he?» I answered: «My son, this is God» (Robert Plant)
That’s pretty much how it was between us, isn’t it, Daddy? "Do you see this gentleman? He can do magic! He can play the duck verse on the guitar! Now I'll make you listen..."
Happy Birthday, Jimi! ♐🎸♋ Seattle, Washington, US. November 27th, 1942

"The morning is dead And the day is, too There's nothing left here to meet me But the velvet moon All my loneliness I have felt today It's like a little more than enough To make a man throw himself away And I continue To burn the midnight lamp
Alone Now the smiling portrait of youIs still hangin' on my frowning wall But It really doesn't, really doesn't bother me Too much at all It's just the ever falling dust That makes it so hard for me to see That forgotten earring layin' on the floor Facing coldly towards the door
And I continue
To burn the midnight lamp
Lord, alone Burn Lonely, Lonely, Lonely Loneliness is such a drag So here I sit and pace That same old fireplace Gives rise to the same old explosion Goin' through my mind And soon enough time me tell, About the circus and the wishing well And someone who will buy and sell for me Someone who will toll my bell And I continue To burn the same old lamp Lone Yeah Lightnin', can ya hear me callin' you? So lonely Gonna blow my mind Yeah, yeah Lonely lonely My my"
The smoky look of the "mysterious wizard" on the cover of the album, spoke to me through the vortex of the record that was spinning and sounds, voices and music were coming out to it. This was already magic for me. Together with my father and Jimi Hendrix, I walked for the first time through the door to the wonderful dark side of music.
Thanks for this too, Daddy! Miss you so much!

Jimi Hendrix - "Electric Ladyland"
Not the kind of thing I'd return to often, but I busted this one out on one of the first sunny days of the year, and it fit the mood perfectly. Though it at times bends into being a bit more vibesy than I have patience for, this is the kind of classic album where I 100% see the influence to what came after. It's at times eerie, at times sexy, and always confident, and well worth the renown.
.
genre: psychedelic rock, acid rock, hard rock, funk, prog soul year: 1968
personal rating: 6 (out of 10 standout songs: "Little Miss Strange," "1983...(A Merman I Should Turn to Be)"
.
Why this album? This album was listed as one of the Best Albums of All Time by Rolling Stone in 2003, 2013 and 2020 (at #55, #55 and #53).
