my dislike for erin increases after every lws because why do we have spencer before arasha here? thought it was about the smosh girlies first? and no idc if it was the "scheduling" or wtver they could've shot ianthony only episode. now we'd have to watch this show for 6-7 more episodes until they start bringing outside guests again. leave being a showrunner erin isn't even a good producer. Did they say they were going to have just Smosh Girlies on first? To be fair I haven't watched the last maybe 4 episodes of LWS. Did they also say that they are going to have just Ian and Anthony for 6-7 more episodes?

I don't have as big of a problem with Erin as a producer, I just sort of wish that there was Ian and Anthony content without her also in it at times. I get maybe they feel they need a foil for Ian and Anthony and she's younger than them so it also foils that.

I don't know. I don't want my blog to be all bashing Erin because she got her job and position for a reason in the company and has talents. I think she has more on her shoulders now and obviously she is on camera more on Lunchtime than she had been on Flashback so I think people are more aware of her.

Erin also has a sense of comedy and personality that can be divisive. At times she has awful takes but other times she can be really funny and it works really well.

SLOW-MO JUMP

I've been on a kick of 2015 - 2017 Smosh 2nd Channel Smosh Pit vids and this one is so cute. I've definitely seen some speculation both now and back when the Smosh Squad was first introduced that Ian and Anthony didn't like them or were against the new cast (a lot of people said this about Anthony when he left) but it's videos like these that just warm my heart and show it wasn't the case. It's under 4 minutes and super fun, give it a watch!

i'm sad that anthony wasn't in it but he had a valid reason for missing it and he's allowed to live his life. but did they really have to put noah in it? lmao

either way i'm excited for what's to come. ian said the lunchtime with smosh podcast is gonna be two guys talking about nothing which is personally what i wanted in the first place instead of flashback so i'm REALLY really happy that they're doing it. i also can't wait to see what new show they're going to have on the main channel alongside the sketches (and i'm just praying it's good).

Now I just hopped in here to suggest you might enjoy the new Flashback with Smosh video with Rhett and Link, especially towards the later part of it. They were so unsure about the "are you happy" question and kept changing the subject lol

Thanks for bringing it to my attention! It was a very interesting watch.

The “happy” part was certainly the juiciest part. Smosh openly expressed that they doubted they were being sincere when they said they were happy and eventually Link admitted they were lying and Rhett agreed they were only manifesting it. So, it is, canon fact, that they don’t feel happy. Given the context of the interview, I assume it was mostly from a creative perspective, but they were so stone faced, it was like they were struggling to force their faces into a smile. Real feel of unhappiness there, which is odd from dudes who supposedly count their blessings in every turn. Not so odd however if we remember once again Rhett’s old and very serious statement in Ear Biscuits “We are fundamentally sad people”. Which, by the way, was not said just for career creative aspirations at that time.

Other important moments IMO:

Rhett was quick to clarify they themselves wrote “We’re Still Doing It” and their crew was not involved at all. Yeah. Why am I not surprised.

I felt a little validated during watching the first GMM, current Link caught my eye as he was watching. He looked to me very pensive, melancholic while watching their younger selves. I thought “wow why does Link look so freaking sad he looks like he’s thinking so many things rn” and I kinda had a guess more or less but then I was like “okay you probably are overanalysing and misinterpreting, Link has a natural downwards lip curve, he’s fine” and just as I had persuaded myself I am imagining things , Link wiped a tear which he described as “sympathetic”. So yeah, turns out I wasn’t imagining things 👍

And of course right after discussing their huge hopes for the show and after the confession that they are not happy but they are manifesting it (which imo is directly linked to what they want to achieve with the show), Smosh gave them this R&L custom boxer figurines and after failing to make them fight, Link spent the next five minutes rubbing boxer!randl to each other, made them kiss (smosh added hearts), he also made them make some questionable motions and then had boxer doll Rhett give a long speech of love, devotion and admiration to boxer doll Link. Rhett was very chill with all that, this time. He only joked Link was having too much fun with this boxer set. The guys who feel uncomfortable with being shipped lol. These dudes beg to be shipped.

Those leg expansions were making Link feel a little uneasy.

I personally see it from Anthony’s pov.

Some lyric breakdowns :-

“I’ve been having a hard time adjusting / I had the shiniest wheels now they’re rusting.”

- Anthony after he left and was trying to find his voice, and ‘adjusting’ to life outwith Smosh.

“I didn’t know if you’d care if I came back / I have a lot of regrets about that.”

“And maybe I don’t quite know what to say / But I’m here in your doorway.”

- Anthony’s worries and anxiety before reconnecting with Ian.

“And it’s hard to be at a party when I feel like an open wound / It’s hard to be anywhere these days when all I want is you / You’re a flashback on a film reel on the one screen in my town.”

- Anthony missing Ian and reminiscing on the past.

If I can add, another Taylor track I’ve mentioned in relation to Ianthony that I’ve had on repeat since they announced their reunion and that is in the same vein as ‘This Is Me Trying’ in regards to missing someone and reminiscing is ‘The Very First Night’.

Lyric breakdown :-

- Could be taken from Ian’s pov, as he said after Anthony left people would just come up to him and ask if he was okay. They probably felt they knew what he was going through but no one really ‘knew’. Same with Anthony. They were both putting on a front of just how much they were missing one another. Also the parallel of - “And it’s hard to be at a party when I feel like an open wound.” // “Every weekend, this same party / I never go alone and I don’t seem brokenhearted.”

“Back then we didn’t know we were built to fall apart / We broke the status quo, then we broke each other’s hearts.”

- Back in the day they probably never would have believed that their relationship would fall apart, and, like Ian said that, that had to happen for them to come back together. So they had to break the ‘status quo’ of their relationship, and in turn they did break each others hearts.

what made you notice them?— My dumbass didn’t notice him for a bit actually. I kept getting him confused with Kihyun (purely based on looks) and I was like. DAMNIT SAM YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. And so I watched Monsta X Right Now and pulled it together and I realized that I.M. was my bias when he held a seashell with his foot.

We don’t ask questions as to how my bias comes about, okay? Okay.

what’s your favourite thing about them?—  Honestly, the fact that he appeals to my sense of humor is perfection enough for me. But the fact that he is a genuinely kind person who just tries to unashamedly be himself makes me love him so much more. Also, I’m just so happy to see how far they’ve come since the survival show--I know it took a lot for him to be accepted and it’s so nice to see how integral he is to the group and how integral they are to him. IDK I’m just so soft for this boy.

who would initiate skinship more?— Lol, probably him for the first time. However, the moment I realize that it is okay for me to be mushy gushy huggy on someone, good fuckin luck getting rid of me. Then it would be be me, 100%.  

who would hog blankets more?— Me. See, my poor partner says that I’m a blanket hog but he doesn’t actually try to take them away from me. The problem is, when I sleep--I’m out, I won’t wake up for shit--and I have a tendency to roll so when I do that I roll the blanket up with me like a burrito. Alls you gotta do is rip it from me and we’re good--I won’t even wake up.

who would be more clingy?— Me. Like I said, the moment you show me that it’s okay to cling to you the more I’m going to do it.

who would say ‘i love you’ first?— him. Fucking tried to say it first once and then I just spiraled into a depression after I was rejected. Hell to the no would I be doing that again.

who would be more easily flustered?— Me. I get flustered when someone compliments me or shows any interest in me. I’m always pointing to myself like me? Really? Why? Are you blind?

what cuddling position would you two have?— I’d probably be his backpack, honestly. Which in normal cases is called big spooning but I like to thank Olivia from Smosh for awakening me to the idea of calling it jetpacking.

which color remind you of them and why? — A tan, earthy pink. You know, basically like a “nude” (it’s not nude for anyone why the fuck is one shade suddenly nude?) but like that color. Yes. I feel like it’s warm and comforting and it’s a color I’m always gravitated to and surprised by and IDK man I just think it fits him nicely.

what season would you like to spend with them? — He screams summer to me, mostly because I feel like we would both adventure and you’d just find us doing stupid shit wherever. In winter it would be too cold and we’d never go out and the inbetween seasons are vibrant enough to me for Changkyun.

which one of you would make bad puns and how would the other react? —He’d be the one making puns because rarely do I make puns, I just make dumb comments in the corner or under my breath. I would probably react to him the same way I do to my dad, with a frozen look of digust on my face whether he’s done talking or not.

who would bake cookies and who would steal the batter?— I would bake cookies and he would steal the batter--any other bias and it would probably be the other way around but he is a bit more mischievous than me so I feel it would be him.

who would want to adopt 50 dogs and cats? — Me. Hands down. This honestly doesn’t matter which bias it will always be me. However, I don’t think Changkyun would stop me and we would just have a house full of fluffies.

which one of you would nearly burn down the kitchen trying to microwave a poptart and who would come to the rescue?— Him, I’m not that much of a nightmare when it comes to cooking. Like I can do it if I try. Therefore it would probably be me coming to the rescue. *flashbacks to when one of my best friends burnt a cheese pizza to a black disc and then tried to convince me she could still eat it because it smelled like teriyaki*

who likes to lean over trail railings and who pulls them back?— Him. Funny fact about me, heights aren’t always scary, but I am deathly afraid of any railing that is not chest height. And it is literally because I am afraid that I will fall because I am so klutzy and I can see myself just spilling over the edge.

what would watching a horror film with them be like?— Him clinging onto me for dear life while I laugh maniacally at murder.

who would be the cheesy flirt and who would be the smooth flirt?— I think we’d both be cheesy. Changkyun is a ball of cheese and I’m as smooth as apple crisp.

who is more competitive?— Depends on what, but it’d most likely be him. I can be competitive, it just depends on what mood I’m in and what it’s over. However, if I am competitive, he won’t win. Period.

who would have to be given constant reminders (reminders to eat. don’t forget your keys, etc)?— Me. My poor partner still has to text me to remind me to eat and drink because I literally will forget to eat for like three days.

How to get Freckles on Face without Makeup :)

So you're part of my background no match made in heaven oh shit hello everyone welcome back to my kitchen living bedroom I am in LA right now I'm not in my best state as you can hear my voice is pretty much gone it's actually a lot better compared to a couple of days ago I'm a mess but I still want to write a blog for you guys so you have something to read today on Sunday hopefully it's gonna be Sunday.

Okay it's too much for me I'm HD bitch they actually wanted to do something which has been requested so freaking much like you have no idea or maybe you have an idea because you requested I am here today to do henna freckles part 2 I took my new henna freckle coloring with me to do this right here right now because you know what I can't leave it like that it was such a failure and I really want it to work and I need to do this again and not giving up bitch first of all I did so many things wrong I actually did everything wrong you could ever do wrong and I'm not proud of that today.

I want to do at least a couple of things better than the last time first of all I bought another henna coloring I don't know so actually the girl from the video I took my inspiration from messaged me right after the blog that I bought the wrong hand oh my god husband and make nice being tannoy I bought another henna paste and this time I bought Henna paint which is more Brown than red so it doesn't look like splattered blood on my face I heard so many things about henna for this blog that henna shouldn't burn and Henna should be like mix out of powder in water and if it comes like this it's definitely not like natural henna and I believe that I just don't have any other hand up hand with me so I'm just gonna take the artificial ones also I like so incredibly pink in my face it's not even funny anymore the under eye on my right side so they don't have to comment it anymore and yeah my under eye is swollen.

So much I don't know why but it's just how it is I'm an ugly piece of shit and let's start this blog but I have a little banana break I'm kind of scared I gotta say so the first step I did wrong the last time was the girl from the video put on oil on her face but I didn't have any oil back then so I was like yeah moisturizing cream is gonna be the same as oil it wasn't the thing is the oil was supposed to be like a little protection like a little layer of something between the henna and your face.

So it's not gonna be that intense but as I do Smosh rising cream which was more likely to soak it in even more it wasn't the smartest idea I had so this time I brought some oil with me I don't have the carrot oil but I have like this uh Nastasia oil and I think that should be fine all right so I am just going to apply this on my face like that and then we're gonna beat well I'm such a loyal face I'm sitting like right in front of our window and we're in the backyard of our Airbnb host and he was just out there playing darts and I was freaking out but I think now he's gone again and if he sees me talking to the camera the oily ass face I think he wants to be friends with me well Marvin really wants the a B&B dee what are you doing this is my professional filming setup why is my background moving fire you know what I'm gonna do a little test on my hand I've never seen such a professional background so it's okay.

I can already see this is not as red as the other dye well this is more like green I don't know if that’s better would be fine all right hey you can anything I mean that's gonna be good sign I mean nothing on my face love it all right you guys I’m gonna do this right now I love that it doesn't even stick to my face because I put too much oil okay I got two dots down you guys we're doing great can't believe I'm doing this again.

Actually I don't know if you really see anything on my face right now but there is something okay so now you can really see every little thing on my face but you can definitely see there are some little freckles you really can't see it that well right now because you can only see my red face yeah you can see some of the little freckles but mostly just like my acne scars yeah my pores are very present I think they're very subtle which I don't mind because everything is better than the freckles in my last blog you can definitely see them I mean not that good on camera right now but they're definitely there and I really like them they're just very very orange I think that also contrasts with my pink skin so that's what are you doing so many people told me that the henna will intensify until the next day and I'll show you what it looks like tomorrow see you tomorrow.

Hello and good morning oh Jesus Christ trying to find good lighting but it's not there maybe I need to go outside for good lighting I don't even have shoes on it's pretty cold actually you need out here um no I don't think that's better I can't see shit I'm going back in okay so this is my freckle update I hope you can see something anything it's cute I like it I'm going back to bed I think they do look a little more like freckles today and not that orange like yesterday yeah they look a little more like brownish and of that orange look like freckles.

Do you think so yeah they kind of fade in with your pores but they're also I would say this is actually a success I think because I can go out like this I really enjoy the freckles like that and I'm really happy I could redeem myself and create henna freckles which don't look like splattered flat on my face all right so yeah this is my goodbye bye my own goodbye my whole first dream I really can't sing right now I think I'm actually gonna do this again because I really really like the result my voice is cracking and I think now is the time to start the day right here in LA okay bitch, thank you guys so much for reading and I will see you in my next blog bye bye.
