A life she'd found in a tiny town under the shadow of a great mountain, with a man and 3 children that she loved enough to give up her immortality for. This is a Hobbit AU Fanfic and I am posting it here on A03 and here on Wattpad. The only reason I don't post on Tumblr is because I'm still not entirely sure how to make a Masterlist. This is my third BIG multific I've posted and I'm so proud of it, I hope you like it.

The fire fae are heat loving and known for there skill with metal working and jewelry. They are often quick tempered. They control fire and lava the royal family has runic marks on their chest that look like lava it is their heart fire. They are vulnerable to cold temperatures and ice could kill them under the right circumstances. Half-lings are more vulnerable to temperature changes and stay around fire as much as possible. The fire fae kingdom has a queen and king who have no legitimate children. They will be seen the most in book 4

Attributes:

Warm, tanned skin

Brow, amber or red eyes

Brown, orange or red hair are the normal black and white can happen under stress

long life spans

Muscular build and fiery tempers.

How is it that sometimes Lee Pace can look like the absolute definition of a generic white boy like you've seen guys in the supermarket that look like him and then other times he looks like the magical offspring of the fey and giants and the last mortal with a trace of faery blood... Someone explain this. Because I'm talking about Lee here not even the difference he can evoke in roles like between Ned the Piemaker and Thranduil the Elvenking I'm talking pictures of Lee that hit so dramatically differently that they give you whiplash

fire spirit who’s teasingly warm as she crawls up your body. she has enough control to not burn you, but it’s such a weird feeling. they refer to flames as tongues for a reason, it turns out. she really is licking all over you at once. she doesn’t really have any actual holes, but she’s entirely surrounded it and her incorporeal body is surprisingly tight as each individual fiery coil wraps around it. the fire on your hair holds you still somehow as a warm, flickering finger teases along your lips before pushing inward and turning your saliva into a little puff of steam as she kisses you

I feel like I had the most fun designing brownies and idek why. I wanted them to look super cutesy and youthfully jubilant yknow? almost childlike. huge facial features on tiny lil faces. For many of the other characters I think it's pretty noticeable that I smoothed out some of their wrinkles and rougher features to fit this idea and now that all is said and done idk how much I'm into it but oh well. I imagine brownie eyes as huge and uncanny, and I like to tint their sclera with the same color of their irises. I like to do a similar tinting on their wings :) In a perfect world I would be less lazy and draw brownies more... insectoid, because that's kind of how I view them, but for now this is a brownie :3

Nothing too special about her tabaxi design, I knew I kinda wanted her to be a domestic cat breed bc A. they're generally much smaller that other felines and B. I wanted to kind of set her apart from the rest of the Krew who are (mostly) big cats. Ragamuffins seemed super cute and fluffy and something about it just clicked in my idiot brain

On the other hand her lizardfolk design was a slam dunk, easy peasy lemon squeezy, frog-eyed gecko was just the correct choice. Small, cute, big fuckin eyes, reference to frogs. Oh yeah, it's all coming together. The only challenge was figuring out how to put glasses on her, and tbh idk if they're super functional the way I ended up drawing them lol. w/ever it's fine. This might be one of my favorite overall designs tbh, and I might recycle the design for a character of my own
