I find it funny how one single scene in Azure Gleam suggests that Rhea never bothered to meet the lady who saved the country most loyal to the Church.

and she quickly realized that she needed to make you her own! 

rhea needed that sort of kindness in her life

she needed to wake up to that sweet smile of yours every day, hear your kind words and feel your gentle touch

no matter what, she needed to make you hers! 

it didn't matter to rhea that she'd have to use your kindness against you, manipulating you into being with her

if she'd just play the pitiful and lonely rhea, you'd certainly be inclined to comfort her and be there for her

and if she'd just keep that act up for long enough, rhea could keep you by her side forever

having you care for her and making sure your kindness only belonged to her…
