Back again with another fanart, this time of artwithalfred's (instagram and twitter) Sootiny and Cracklizz! They've got some absolutely gorgeous and amazing fakemon designs, it was really hard to pick a single evolution line for this fanart. Enjoy!

Blazing Howls

- 001: Emberpaw

Type: Fire

Ability: Flare

Entry: Emberpaws are completely weak on their own, requiring supervision from their larger evolutions to defend them from larger Balarivogs. The liquid oil that they secrete all over their bodies is what helps ignite their tail on fire, but because it is young it does not have the full compounds of normal fire to make the fire painful meaning that if you were to put your hand through the fire, it would be warm instead. -Audio log finished.

- 002: Vulburst

*Evolve Emberpaw to level 50*

Type: Fire, Light

Ability: Flare

Entry: As agile as they look, Vulbursts are not like their final evolutions meaning they are not as fast as them, making them ambush predators by using their tail that can cast a glowing light, they use this to lure prey to where it is and once that happens, up to 5 or more Vulbursts will ambush their prey ripping them apart while wrapping their tails around them to pin them down and burn them. A Vulburst’s tail has a multifunctional purpose, it can switch its tail to a flaming torch or to the one I just mentioned earlier, a flameless light. They also use their tails to ward off larger Balarivogs during the night as well as using them like a whip with both of their two abilities. -Audio log finished.

- 003: Flamehowl

*Evolve Vulburst to level 98*

Type: Fire, Light, Electric

Ability: Flare, Wild Thunder

Entry: The Flamehowl, one of the apex predators of Northern Canada utilize their fiery jaws for a burning bite, their light which is used for blinding prey or for defending the pack, as well as electricity on their claws tailored to be used for either paralyzing their prey or electrocuting them to a slow and painful death. They are usually seen all over the territories most of the time and are rarely seen in any other province other than those three. When two male Flamehowls get into a fight, it’s either during the mating season or they fight violently for the title of being the alpha male, if one wins they become the alpha, if the other loses they are kicked from the pack. Flamehowls are dangerous predators and should be hunted with extreme caution. -Audio log finished.

The Inspiration behind this line were Fox pups, Foxes (Red Fox specifically) and Wolves, pretty straightforward. And most importantly these animals inhabit North America, specifically Canada!

Here's my entry for this fakemon friday and my first regional forms, Sentret and Firret! Mischiveous little thieves that use fireworks created from the sparks on their tails to signal eachother and to confuse and mesmerize enemies

Finally got to making a Legendary group i wanted to make since i tapped into the South Kalos project! And it's based on unused content in X and Y and a callback to it 6 years later in Sword and Shield where they introduce a nuclear space whale dragon skeleton... thing. these thing all have like 570 total base stat since i forgot to mention that back on dA

This pokemon seems to have originated from Paldea. This pokemon practices gliding with it's cape. If threatened, it swings it's plasma tail wildly around to shock and burn it's opponents.

Sheartoad, the Pruner Pokémon

Grass/Steel type

In the wild, Sheartoad are fiercely protective of plant life in their territory and will use the garden shears mounted on their backs to defend it.

This makes them the perfect guard Pokémon for your garden!

Fhionnix, the Forecast Pokémon

Fire/Flying Type

When it was learned that Fhionnixes could foretell the coming of rain, they were used as weather forecasters. However, the continual moaning from them during the winter months was difficult to bear.

The name comes from Fhionnuisce, the Irish word for Phoenix 

Fhionnix feathers repell ink, making them useless as quill feathers.

Boltshark, the Aquatic Cat Pokémon

Water/Electric Type

Boltshark uses their electricity to create a protective barrier around itself, which also hurts its foes as it moves.

When used in the water, this barrier extends to almost the entire water’s surface, making it dangerous to touch. The larger the body of the water, the thinner the electricity can spread.

Signature Move: Electric Shield 

Creates a barrier of electricity around the Pokémon that lasts for seven turns

Violet Expedition Team Journal Entry #2

Iron Light

Violet team made a discovery at the bottom of the crater. A small of groups of members saw group of lights dancing and moving around at the bottom. When they arrived at the source of it, they found this. It seemed to be friendly, it lit the way out of the cave and let on of the artists get a good sketch of it when the team had to leave they waved goodbye and the lamps returned the favour. it seems to be similar to a Pokémon from the unova region. We've dubbed this pokemon 'Iron Light'.

So this is a paradox lampent and I wanted to make it almost the opposite of it's original counterpart and it's past paradox counterpart in spectral flame by making it kind and sociable, so I got rid of its ghost typing and gave it the electric type. I also gave them a little owo face with the ligament of the lightbulb. Also I originally was gonna make it a lava lamp but it didn't look good
