Thunderous Stomp (Dragon/Electric)

My take on a possible ancient paradox RAIKOU based on Walking Wake, the ancient paradox SUICUNE released yesterday

Thunderous Stomp is based on Titanosauridae, mostly because I remembered Brontosaurus means "Thunder Lizard" and my brain made the automatic connection

in the reblog tags of my paradox reshie and zekrom post, @spicy-sweet-herba-mystica got me thinkin about paradox kyurem. well. here we go! ghost/dragon type. it's just straight up paradox. both future and past because. all that. and all that being, with a past paradox zekrom and a future paradox reshiram, it'd be weird if i chose either of them for kyurem. so. both it is! ghost type, plus it being Both, relating to the whole kyurem Lore stuff.

anyway whipped this up pretty quick TEE BEE ECH so the design, if i ever come back to it, is likely to change

THRASHING TYKE (fairy/dragon) and IRON ROVER (normal/ghost)

so, as some of you may recall (since i asked for your input), i've been designing paradox fakemon !! i really like when new forms are given to middle-stage or under-utilised pokemon, so togetic and furfrou were easy choices.

thought it'd be fun to imply togetic took a while to get airborne, so thrashing tyke ended up being sort of an inversion of usual togetic qualities! and iron rover is, of course, inspired by laika (hence the ghost typing).

anyway, pretty happy with them for a first go at fakemon rendering 👍👍

AGED SOUL:

Legends say this Pokémon lived mimicking early humans, the way it's vocal cords are arranged shows it may have been able to speak full sentences.

Psychic/Fire type Paradox Espeon more heavily based off of the nekomata.

Paradox Gengar - Hissing Shadow - Ghost / Dark

eh screw it. paradox ultra beast makes no sense in my head which means it makes sense to Pokémon standards. they did it to ancient legendaries after all. I like dinosaurs.

Past Paradox Xurkitree— Luminescent Lifeform (Credit to @menthum-mint for name and for helping with the concept of this guy as well)— takes a more literal sense with the tree. I think it’s actually Ghost/Electric, maybe. It has two different stances; Rooted and Uprooted. It usually fights in its Rooted form where it plants the three large roots at the end of its tail into the ground where it absorbs a peculiar energy from the soil of Area Zero to fight stationary. When it goes into its Uprooted form, the intense energy it’s collecting in the ground creates a blast as it rockets itself into the sky to land on it’s hands and run that way, capable of sprinting at exceptional speeds. They’ve been noted to travel or collect in groups of usually their own kind. They seem to partake in a lot of playful aggression, throwing around what or whoever’s interesting to them which might seem mean, but it’s all in good fun for it. It doesn’t really know its own strength on that department.

some creative notes— there’s some inspiration from the Tree of Souls (?) from Avatar (the movies). There’s also a single vine that hangs from the split branches to it’s “head” which is supposed to somewhat imitate a mouth with a long tongue sticking out like it’s teasing you. This is just something I incorporated for fun and for some extra personality

POKÉMON WHEEL CHALLENGE DAY 11 *FINAL*: SEEPING COMET

The final wheel spin is here, and it’s the mythical Pokémon Deoxys…I think? It definitely bears a resemblance…is it even a pokemon?

This past paradox of Deoxys seems to still be forming a physical body, with the meteor it broke out of still attached to most parts of its body. Perhaps with time it will form into something more stable…

Sorry this last entry took so long guys, couldn’t make a design I liked until now. But I’m happy with this outcome! Till next time :))

I've been working on this one project for about 2 weeks now....which is way longer than I usually do. That being said it's driving me crazy not posting anything, so have a sneak peak at the boy who makes me cry everytime I try to draw him.

Iron Turbine, a future paradox style version of the fakemon Victorrent from the pokémon campaign I'm in. He felt better after having a snickers.

IRON EREBUS:

These constructs are assigned to patrol late night streets, their tails are used as lanterns to deter wild Pokemon from wandering into towns.
