Based on the post I made a while ago:

I feel like Regis is just silly fella. Also higher vampires love shiny things like their lesser cousins and you can fascinate a higher vampire with a piece of jewelry

(I chose yarrow (common yarrow) beacause It grows everywhere here and in Polish the name is krwawnik and it relates to blood (krew- blood) haha funny.)

I just know that Regis was giggling and kicking his feet while being invisible in the bushes after Geralt told him that he doubted anyone could ever afford the price it would take for him to go after Regis's head.

okay but book jaskier is so special to me

Him just being this childish, flirty, and self loving pretty man in his fourties who makes inappropriate jokes at the wrong time and always ends up in situations that he needs to be saved from

but him also being so much more than just this basic, seen before, comic relief.

him being an artist, above all else, a really good one, one that can make people passionate and sad and feel all the emotions he feels. wasnt he even a teacher at oxenfurt? like teacher jaskier pls give it all to me

him coming from a rich family, being educated but deciding that his art is all he needs and to live his life in the fullest

him always thinking he's not brave enough, but for the people he loves he goes through danger and discomfort, as long as he possibly could, longer than anyone, including himself would have thought

him also being just a really lovable person? him chosing Geralt, cold seeming, unsocial, sad Geralt as his best friend (in the books thats the kind of realtionship i see them as) and just making Geralt love him, even though he fucks things up on a regular basis, can be annoying as hell and lands them in the strangest ans messiest situation, Geralt loves his bestie so much, he would go through anything for him without making Jaskier feel bad for it

sure he might sometimes be annoyed but would never truly be angry and never ever abandon him do you hear me netflix

he could have all the company in the world, but he chose to stay with the outcast, the brewing, dangerous man who is unwanted and unwelcomed by society, and never regretted it

In conclusion Jaskier is a very special being and means the world to me

Can't speak for the latter half of the series, but "Baptism of Fire" is the silliest Witcher book so far. Barely any progress is made. Most of the book is The Gang bickering. There's a long scene where they make soup and Geralt is sulking in the background. Dandelion gets a bit hurt and he is being so brave about it and everyone tells him he's being SO brave. There's a vampire AMA that is mostly about the dangers of binge-drinking. At one point, the characters practically turn to face the camera to say "Remember, kids: the only person who gets to choose if a pregnancy is carried through or not is the one who's actually pregnant".

Definitely my favourite in the series yet

The fish soup scene in Baptism of Fire changed me. What if friendship was real and the gang of misfits who by all rights should want you dead instead lovingly worked together, playing up each other's unique strengths to make you fish soup you could share as a family while telling you to sit your ass down, shut the fuck up, and behave. What if that's what love is all about. I am typing this through tears

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Here's one of the safer for works part of that little something I've been working on every now and then that sort of got a lot little kinkier than expected (if you're not comfortable being tagged in snippets like this, just let me know <3)

Carlos begins scaling his fingers down TK’s bare torso, leaving a path of goosebumps in his wake.

“Look at me,” Carlos commands and TK’s eyes focus on Carlos’ face with haste. Carlos’ beautiful, beautiful, beautiful face.

“Say the word, and we stop okay? Hey,” He gently rubs his thumb up and down TK’s face, ensuring TK’s focus is on his words, and not traversing through Carlos’ eyes. “What did I just say?”

TK takes a moment to collect himself, swallowing down all the expletives he already wants to passionately throw. “I say the word, and you stop.”

“We stop,” Carlos corrects, but lovingly. “Repeat it back.”

“We stop,” TK repeats, urgency starting to slip through and making him sound even more aroused than he somehow already is.

“Remind me of that word again, one more time?” Carlos asks, trailing his fingernails down TK’s thighs, calmly but intent. He wants the goosebumps that prickle upon TK’s flesh to remain.

TK can feel the beast within him unfurl as he growls out, “Tiger.”

“That’s my boy,” Carlos replies with utter glee, leaning down to plant one more kiss on TK’s lips before throwing them both into euphoric chaos.

it is true that regis is a vampire, but baptism of fire is like the least vampire vampire media.

there’s no turning (vampires are a species) there’s no forever-youth (middle aged) there’s no biting (not gonna) there’s no hunting (no such thing as vampire hunters) there’s no burning in the sun (can’t) there’s no christianity (based) there’s no inviting in (he invites them in) there’s no water barriers (river barge) there’s no vampire society (don’t have one) there’s no extravagant balls (they’re disorganized)

there’s not even any drinking blood ‘cause the cunt’s dry as a stone. respect
