Taken Aback

Wish a clash and a bang, I came to take what others had sought. I borrowed the pot of gold with intent to fill it back up. Heavy it was, with the weight of emotional burdens. Unbeknownst to me, lugging this load, I came with glee. Opening dreadful thick sorrow vent, I felt robbed of something mischievously already stolen and became bent. - Fiore Blu

Please don't misunderstand, the love of art has always been; this rebelling attitude is the only flaw to which no one can mold or comprehend.

Where did it go, all this money I never had?

I bled a soul in fear...

With my words from a heart unsure.

It created a soul indeed, but this soul was ice and melted away with false fantasies.

I was not proud of how others would perceive me in a mask.

Caught myself dancing as a fool, leaping, flailing, stuck in a constant prance.

It gave me nothing in return

But a puzzle to solve

Without clues

And mazes of directions.

I tried to unearth the strangling confusion

But tied the knots further

Trying to untwist what twists I made

Of exactly what I thought I would not make.

A perception of what was me, not me, only a time being, so therefore inconsistently, negatively, not me.

This soul I fear,

Was not so fearless

And gave a pause to honesty

For in that direct honesty

The soul could not reach what was honestly incomplete.

So these words scrambled like eggs

Became rotten like them too

And left the room smelling like a skunk's fume.

I had scorned the miasma without intent to,

Simply in desire of what others had worked to make into perfume.

How can I hate so wrongfully what I create?

It was shockingly rude.

Though the defense made the soul stronger

Without a reason to take.

It was so reasonable to say,

That it wasn't myself I disliked,

But the taste of dry blood in tears of dismay.

I feel cold to the touch

Because maybe I have lost

So much.

I squandered life

And now see the price of the gamble.

With nothing else to give,

And this painfully wasted youth faded,
