unpopular opinion but jimmy-steve was fiona’s best boyfriend. he fit into the gallagher household so well, genuinely cared for fiona and her family. he matched their energy and vibes

i know some people may see this and disagree, but honestly, i don’t care- lip was not at all at fault for not calling the cops on kash and some people need to stop acting like he was evil for not doing so. while i do think he should’ve, my main issue with it is that we always acknowledge that ian was a child at the time, but never seem to mention lip’s only a year older. the person who should’ve called the cops was linda, the adult who instead of placing the blame on kash, placed it on ian. and with ned, it should’ve been fiona or jimmy-steve, also adults, and in fiona’s case, an adult who had a parental role in ian’s life (even if she wasn’t yet legal guardian) and instead brushed the situation off as “just sex” and dumbed it down to it all being about ned being gay. lip knew it was wrong and was extremely upset both times it happened, and expressed his guilt for not calling the cops on kash. would it have been good if lip had called and kash was arrested? absolutely. but do i think he was obligated to as a child and bad for not calling? no. that should’ve never happened in the first place and while i understand where people are coming from when they express their disappointment with lip for not doing anything about it, i still don’t feel like lip was the one who should’ve been forced to handle that situation. leave that to the adults.

Darry is Fiona because he's raising all these "kids" which is really just the gang

The Shepard's are the Milkovich's in the way that Angela is Mandy, and Curly is Mickey and Ponyboy is Ian in relation

I'm giving the Gang a baby just because I was inspired by Beatrice in the TV show, except it's Sandy and Soda's baby.

Evie and her mother are Sheila and Karen (although I hate to whore out my girl like that)

Steve is Lip because remember guys HE'S SMART TOO !! And also he's a smart-ass and he seems like the guy to take government tests for other people (Pony would be too scared of getting caught and potentially put in a boy's home for it)

Ponyboy is more Ian imo anyway, he would totally get a job at a convenience store and the Mandy and Ian's plot is so Angela and Ponyboy (also Mickey and Ian are so papercut/Purly)

Soda is also a little bit of Ian, in the way that he wants to join the army, loves the baby (s5 Ian...) and also that he's best friends with Steve (aka Lip)

Buck's becomes the Alibi room and Two-Bit and Dally work there (just because I was inspired (again) by the TV show and Two-Bit getting a job there)

Idk what to do with Johnny (tbf I never do) but I think he'll find a place as I develop this more lmao

Something just feels significant to me when Fiona tells Jimmy/steve she trusts him. Trust is not something Fiona often has in her life. She never saw trust in her parents, so she values trust more than love. It's like finding a diamond in a mine full of quartz for her.

And when she tells Jimmy/Steve this, he has just come back from cheating on her with another woman.
