Moodboards for two of my upcoming fics.

First moodboard is for my college AU fic "hey baby, won't you look my way (I can be your new addiction)" and will have Penizzie, Hosie and Lethan.

Second moodboard is for my past and future fic "you can only hate what you could love (if things were a little different)" and it'll have Penizzie, Posie, Finsie and unrequited Hizzie (it'll go between past and future for each chapter and will have intertwining moments to do with canon but still be an AU).

What's Julie Plec's problem with love stories ?

Apart from 3 couples in the universe (Delena, Kolvina, Freelin), all the others have tragic or open endings !

Specifically in Legacies.

I haven't watched this show, but from what I know, not only is the storyline rotten (Hope much less powerful than in TO and monsters, each more ridiculous than the other, which appear) but the couples are managed in a haphazard way.

Hope & Landon (who have a tragical / open ending) don't seem to have any chemistry to me compared to the scenes I've seen of Hope with Clarke or Josie.

And obviously Clarke ended up with a girl we don't know.

Josie has an open ending with Finch who in comparison to Penelope form a bland couple from the extracts I have seen.

Lizzie got Sabastian first, who reminded me of Klaroline, so obviously they ended tragically.

Then she has a romance with a guy named Ethan who in my opinion has no chemistry (plus the majority of fans say they are a super random couple who makes no sense) and who all way also ends badly with Ethan who dies I think.

Once again... Wtf ?

Nothing to do with the crazy chemistry that we could find with the TVD or TO characters whether in the canon or fanon ships.

What is this waste ? Not only do I find that the wrong couples were chosen, but even if it means giving these characters second chances at love, why the hell make such lousy endings like they already had ?! I mean, I don't ship Handon, Finsie and Lethan (I find them all boring), but if we cling to them at this point from the writers' side, why write such lousy endings ? Because for fans of these ships, it's pretty damn lame.

Hope only has one love interest (rip Holarke and Hosie for me) in the character of Landon, and it ends badly.

Josie has two main love interests. It ends badly with Penelope (Rip Posie...). Open ending with Finch.

Lizzie has Sebastian, it ends badly (Rip Sizzie) with Sebastian in the prison world. Lizzie then finds Ethan and it ends badly, meaning he dies.

Why Julie Plec ?! Why ?! What's the fucking point ?!
