Are We the Hunters? Or Are We the Prey? - canon divergence off the season 1 finale; Hope is a full Tribrid, Malivore is defeated, but Clarke is in charge of Triad and has declared war on the supernatural world.

I Hope I Was Your Favorite Crime ('cause baby, you were mine) - Dark AU, eventual no humanity hizzie; Lizzie never breaks the Sire bond, but is instead dragged along on a bloody adventure as she grapples with what is the bond, and what are her true feelings. While Hope slowly and meticulously breaks down Lizzie's moral code to craft her into the perfect partner.

Trust Your Lover // Blow Your Cover - Spy/assassin AU; Landon and Lizzie are on a mission to gather information. Hope is employed by their mark to kill them. Things take a turn when someone then orders for Hope to be killed, forcing her to work with the woman she was sent to kill.

Handizzie

Give In (you're mine) - caretaker & human au; Lizzie takes a job looking after Landon, Hope's sick husband, while Hope is 'taking care of some business'. But things at their gothic mansion are strange and Lizzie keeps having sexual dreams about the both of them - that end in her death.

Don't Make Me Be the Bad Guy - Celebrity AU, fake dating/hating; Lizzie and Hope are celebrities and to keep the hype up around them, their managers set them up to have a public rivalry, but Lizzie is secretly pining for Hope. Meanwhile, Hope and Landon are fake dating per their managers request, and Lizzie can't figure out if they're just friends irl, or if there's something to their romance. . .

In a Parallel World (i am a much more loveable girl) - The Penguin crossover (technically not handizzie, but handon & hizzie); Things go terribly wrong when the Super Squad try a risky spell to bring back Hope's humanity.

Lethan

Oh, Mighty King. . . - Royalty AU; Landon is the king Ethan was sent to assassinate, but instead ends up sleeping with. Battling his inner turmoil, Ethan doesn't know whether to follow through with his mission, or if Landon isn't as evil as they all thought. . .

Someone Who'll Get It - Dark AU; Landon doesn't die when Hope kills Malivore, but he is left with a darkness from the experience. And Ethan, newly a magical creature himself, finds a darkness in himself that wasn't there before. After several bloody incidents, the two leave the school together, looking for answers about what's going on inside them.

All Is Well Within the Wires Holding Us Together - College band AU; Landon is in a punk/cabaret band with Hope and Lizzie. Ethan is a college football player. (can I make it any more obvious (; )

Phantom - musical AU; Ethan is a promising singer, Landon is the ghost that haunts the theater.

(this love is) Alive, Back From the Dead - post series AU; Landon and Ethan come back from Limbo together, but Ethan feels more for him than just friendship.

I Despise My Jealous Eyes - Lethan/Hosie; Ethan pines after Landon. Josie has been in love with Hope forever. What could be more perfect than the two of them teaming up to break Hope and Landon up?

Handizziethan

(until there's nothing left) I Burn For You - victorian era AU (might abandon); they're all gay but they can't be out in the 1800s, so they pair up to appease their parents while secretly being with who they want.

We'll Go Hand in Hand - everybody lives AU; a post-series fic about Hope, Landon, Lizzie, and Ethan travelling after graduation, figuring out themselves and their relationship(s).

Finsie

Hold You Under, But I'm Holding You - Dark AU; When Josie goes dark in s2 they don't save her, but instead lock her away where she can't hurt anyone else. When new girl Finch starts getting closer to the Super Squad, she finds a tape detailing Josie's side of the story, with a call to save her from her entrapment.

Pumpkin Delight - halloween dance; Josie asks Finch to come to the Salvatore Halloween dance with her.

Klayley

There's a Light (over at the Mikaelson place) - halloween murder mystery; The Mikaelson's host a murder mystery party. It goes exactly how you'd think.

I'm Not Sad I Said 'I Do' (i'm just glad i was stuck with you) - S2 canon divergence; Instead of marrying Jackson, Hayley decides the better option is to marry Klaus.

Klamon

Be My Filthy Habit - enemies with benefits; When they find Klaus and Stefan in Chicago, Damon makes a plea for Klaus to take him instead of his brother

Fake dating - S4 au; Damon correctly deduces Klaus is in love with his brother. But with Stefan and Elena together, Damon is also set pining. The two decide the best plan is to fake like they're dating to inspire jealousy in their crushes.

Kaitherine

Show You What the Meaning of a Heartbeat Is - s5 canon divergence; Instead of putting her in Elena's body, Nadia sends Katherine to the prison world. There, Katherine meets Kai, and the two form a partnership to escape.

We'll Set Ablaze to Ever After - s8 canon divergence; After meeting in Hell, Katherine and Kai team up to destroy mystic falls. The gang don't end up trapping Kai, or killing Katherine, and the two set off on a new adventure.

In the End, It's Him and I - Mr. & Mrs. Smith AU; tv show version, Kai and Katherine are assigned together as partners, where they must learn to work together, or die

Denklayhizzie

Once More With Feeling: This Time You Stay - S8 Damon ends up in his S1 body just after they find Katherine isn't in the tomb. With all his memories of the next several years, he has only one thing on his mind: Enzo. This Time We Live - S5 Klaus ends up in his S1 body. Knowing what his and Hayley's fate is, he sets to making things right, hopefully in time to save them all. This Time It's You - S4 Hope ends up in her S1 body. This time, she knows what must be done to defeat Malivore. This time, she chooses Lizzie to be by her side through it all.

Dark Denklayhizzie - canon divergence; After Enzo turns off his humanity, Damon finds him before Stefan does, and the two go off on a spree they never come back from. After being turned into a hybrid, Hayley follows Klaus down a path of violence and vengeance that soothes her mourning soul. Years later, Lizzie runs from the Salvatore School after a tragic incident by her hands. She ends up with her uncle, Damon, and he and Enzo bring her to New Orleans - the one place she won't be judged for any dark things she may have done. The one place she'll run into the vicious daughter of the king and queen of New Orleans: Hope Mikaelson.

Sos Do Aan Hun (blood of a hero) - Skyrim crossover AU; Assassin's tried to kill Lizzie and Josie, now Hope travels with them as they try to figure out who wants the twins dead and how to stop them (with love and friendship picked up along the way).

Mystic Falls & Further - Magicians crossover AU; Lizzie, Hope, Josie, and Cleo are graduating from the Salvatore School, hoping to go to Brakebills University of Magical Pedagogy. Stay Bright Till We're Burned - Sci-fi AU; when a gang of criminals board their spaceship looking for their prize, Hope becomes an unexpected hero - even while trying to keep the prize she stole hidden from the criminals who want to steal it from her.

There's a Place Where the Lost Things Go - Noir AU; When her half-brother goes missing, Jen goes to Private Eye, Milton Greasley to solve the case. With his boy friday, Kaleb, at his side, they delve into the stories of the people who come through Mystic Falls looking to escape.

hayley and el*jah weirdly infatuated with and putting each other on some pedestal that insults them by taking away their moral complexity on the literal show about murderous depraved immoral vampires who are capable of both great love and horrible evils, as opposed to hayley controlling hope's narrative of klaus and making sure hope gets the good side of klaus that hayley and the rest of the mikaelsons love, the "fairytale prince" who protects his family, while also acknowledging that hope would have to eventually find out about klaus's dark side and villainous behavior at some point... like even though they're not romantically together in my mind klayley make much more sense than h*ylijah any day because hayley has accepted klaus as he is unconditionally since season 1 without trying to change him into something he's not

in the season 2 flashback kol basically said he would let their abusive dad come and murder klaus as long as he got to be free, in the season 3 flashback kol was the one who suggested splitting up, and in 4x03 he's the one saying "family spending this much time together isn't right." if anyone was going to abandon always and forever and have a distant role in hope's life on legacies it made 100% sense that it would be kol (and by extension davina).

but the rest of them had no excuse since freya basically became the female version of elijah/a fanatic about keeping the family safe and was the only one qualified to help teach hope about her magical abilities, rebekah was the one who always wanted to have the role of a mother and could have easily shown that interest by being more involved in hope's life, marcel is hope's brother and is canonically shown to be protective over teenage girls he cares about (davina). even as toxic as the always and forever dynamic is, they didn't abandon it even when klaus started committing mass murder so they have no excuse for not wanting to be there for hope lol
