She feels pretty pressured into taking up adventuring because of all the cool women in her life, and because she doesn't want to just farm her whole life. But she also doesn't really have the temperament for it. Outside of her setting and given several years to find herself postgrad I think she would bounce between a few trades before settling eventually as a stylist/influencer/counselor.

She is in every club at school because she feels bad for the little ones having to close because they don't have enough members. She's semi-active in all of them, so she's always got some meeting she has to get to.

Overworking herself. But also she's very good at bouncing off ideas and listening to others, making them feel welcome and cared for, that sort of thing.

The Inktober prompt mostly, but I was taking in a lot of twin-oriented media at the time and wanted to try and do some interesting things with it. Kind of my take on the Lup/Taako dynamic or a story where there's clearly a greater/lesser twin and the favored sibling is the one that dies first. Heroes and fools both die young ect.

Fantasy is solid. Like everyone else in Animus Vitrum she's got a lot of family issues but in another world she would be the main character of it by virtue of me coming up with her first as opposed to like 4th in this cast. She also kind of lends herself to a more grounded realistic world with magic, like High Spirits Neoma or Muted, but we take what we can.

It's distant but generally caring. Her father is busy running the farm with her brothers and her mother is always away at the edge of the Feywild maintaining the border. She admires them greatly but often feels like they don't know she exists.

I like how she's got these two very conflicting sides to her, the sweet and the corrupt, the supportive and the jealous, the dependant sidekick and the yearning for self-actualization. It's great. I love duality.

Not very frequently honestly. She's the kind of character I really want to get right but both she and Olivia I more just daydream about.

Ruth is her ultimate rival, even though she loves her dearly, but she's always going to be in her shadow. Ozymandias is somewhat of an arch-nemesis in that he preys on this feeling in her to keep her dependant. Cy is kind of a foil for her in this way.

BC AU takes around the 90s and is supposed to represent Gp Krupp's past and childhood trauma, meaning that time is supposed to show what happened, how, or why. Showing events and shiit.

The gp/tbgdotgp au takes around late or mid 2010s, which is present. The year has passed and we already can see the red flags even tho it's impossible to spot one. Which yes. Some may wonder and say "What about the other ones? What about the aftermath before he got the job? Or what happened to the rest of the people who were in the past.

Again some don't know what happened or what caused the mess, some are highly unaware of it like Kipper for example.

Kipper NEVER met his uncle until he turned 18 because Bernice didn't want her grandson to interact with Krupp after Jasper returned from his vacation along with his family (his wife and his son, kipper) and wanted to have a family reunion but since Bernice is a bitch and didn't wanna talk about Krupp yet still talks shit about him behind his back while Levi was responsible for Krupp's trauma (and Bernice encouraged that uhh) the whole thing is complicated.

Kipper and Ben interact. The only problem is that weeks passed and the missing people were still going. , etc etc. And then the whole disaster finally snapped and began spreading in school.

Is that no one ever wondered if Krupp ever went to prison or died in that year and I do wanna spoiled that part actually.

He didn't die or go to jail LMAO....cuz it's Ohio /jk.... but if the au was set in 2010's I'm not sure if Krupp and Bernice will automatically meet each other again cuz keep that in mind the au is so long that it we don't know which mfs will appear next cuz the only mf who knows what happened to Krupp is Theodore himself and meanwhile the rest of the motherfuckers are having beef with Krupp and didn't even ended it the beef instead the situation escalate further (months has passed and I'm not sure if the beef ended) cuz let's be honest. Ok so, you got me thinking about Drayton in the Villain Champion AU, the one where all the champions are evil while Iris and Hau are being manipulated and/or blackmailed

Like Drayden got murdered by the others to worsen Iris’ mental state, and cause he knew what happened to Iris, but now we got Drayton to add to the story. While I know he has parents somewhere in Unova, I can’t stop thinking about Iris being the one to comfort him about the death of their grandfather despite being devastated herself

Cause she knew WHY Drayden was killed, and she can’t afford to tell anyone else less they end up in the same position as Drayden. And she definitely won’t be telling her younger brother

OUUGH MY GUY JUST.., Diantha seeing Iris being so caring of her younger brother and making that another reason as to why she sees herself in Iris. Why she believes pushing Iris down this path is the right thing to do

But I can also see Diantha using him as blackmail, saying if Iris does ANYTHING she doesn’t like she’ll find a way to hurt her. And Iris knows that means her little brother. She would rather be dragged to the distortion world and tortured again then let anything happen to Drayton

Fucking imagine during one of the meet ups at Unova, Geeta informs Diantha abt Drayton, Iris' younger brother, and ofc, that intrigued Diantha, Iris never told her she had a brother. So she sent Geeta off to find out more, talk to the students, Geeta had said a few of her students and proteges were there too

Can you fucking imagine how devastated Iris would be tho, after the meeting, Diantha had Iris all alone w her at the top of Unova's League, overlooking the region, it made Diantha feel powerful, it made Iris feel like a traitor. Then Diantha spoke, voice so haunting, pulling Iris close to her, going "why, darling, I never thought we could be any more similar," she began, chuckling to herself, god Iris just wants to die then and there, "you never told me you also have a younger brother."

And god did that fucking break Iris. How in the absolute hell did Diantha know?? She never told anyone, not one of the Champions, she made sure to keep her brother a secret from them, she's not going to lose another person she loves to Diantha's hands. She turns to Dia, fear in her eyes, her breathing quickened.

Diantha merely smirked at her, "what's his name, darling?"

It took all of Iris' willpower to not say it, she'd risk it all, she'd risk dying, she'd risk being thrown into the Distortion World again, Arceus please she'd risk it all just to protect her brother

But it's Diantha, y'know. Nothing gets past her. "Was it Drayton? Yes... Geeta had told me." She laughed, dark, hollow, it sent a shiver down Iris' spine, "quite a similar name to your grandfather, don't you agree?" Turning to Iris, there's that glint in eyes, interest, "tell me, does he have the strength to become a Champion? Do you think he can dethrone you?"

And Iris really really doesn't want Diantha to target Drayton next, god please not her brother, so Iris w a shaky voice goes "no... No, he never... He has never won against me, even against grandpa. He's lazy, useless, he's no use to us... The only title he ever got was that fake Champion title he has in that wannabe League at his school."

And Iris could only let out a breath she was holding when Diantha seems to believe that. "Is that so? Well, he reminds me of Augustine, that boy has never won against me as well."

But also y'know in that final battle, or maybe there really is a point where Drayton starts to notice there's smth wrong w Iris. Ever since their grandpa died, Iris changed, she seems more... Paranoid. At first ofc he thought that maybe it was just the pressure of trying to find someone to fill in for Opelucid's Gym, and it saddened him how she didn't choose him, but he understands why, he still has classes, so Opelucid's Gym was then taken over by one of the heroes, Hilda. But even w that, Iris still looked like she's always stressed, he can't remember a time now where Iris didn't look like she was about to combust, she looked like she was just one problem away from lashing out, from crying her heart out, but she knows she can't.

Imagine if he confronts her tho, or maybe, if he actually asked Hilbert and the others for help. After all, they're his sis' friends, they know her, and he knows they're concerned for her too.

DUDE CAN YOU IMAGINE CHMDBFKD that concept where the Unova kids are sneaking inside the League to eavesdrop on one of the meetings and it just so happens that was the meeting after Iris' battle w Hilbert, where they finally saw just how the Champions treat her, imagine if Drayton was there with them too

Imagine Drayton having to watch how they treat his sister, how they kicked her and sneered at her and dragged her to the Distortion World and back. How Iris was shaking like a leaf after all that, crying out, apologizing, how she'll try harder next time, that she won't come close to losing again next time. Then Dia's there staring at her, her eyes glowing, threatening her if she so much as comes close to losing like that again, well... at least her brother will see their grandfather again

And god imagine the other Unova kids having to cover Drayton's mouth to stop him from screaming, to hold him close cause he's trembling, he's shaking, out of anger, out of fear, fear it's dread, it's terror, he's fucking terrified. Tears stream down his face as his own breathing quickened, Hilda and Bianca had to try to calm him down while N and Cheren had to ground Hilbert too, and soon enough when they heard Diantha say there are others there other than them, the Champion, well, they ran outta there, hoping that no one really saw them

God fuck imagine how that'd mess up Drayton too tho bcmdnd like having to watch his sister go through all that, and he realizes why she always looked so paranoid, bc she is, bc the other Champions are there breathing down her neck, making sure she's going to be just like them

When James makes it to the park to meet his commander, someone has beaten him.

“I hope to see you around more, coach,” says a quarian that he is nearly very certain is Admiral Shala’Raan. He’d never forget that throaty voice.

“Please,” Mercy says, dimpling. “The kids call me coach. I’m just Mercy to you.” 

“Mercy,” she purrs, it’s insane, really. She gives James lingering once-over as well. “I see someone wants your attention.”

It feels nice, how much they perk up when they notice him.

“James!” They greet, and sling an arm around his shoulders. It takes a lot to make him feel short, and Mercy does it easily and comfortably. “This is James. He’s the coach at Citadel Institute.”

Shala’Raan nods at him, and turns back to Shepard. “I look forward to Tali’s next game.”

“See you then, Admiral,” they reply with a smile.

“Bro, are you serious,” James hisses, uncertain if he’s about to shake his commander like a ramen seasoning packet, or continue gaping after the outrageous set of hips on the quarian aunty swaying off the sports field.

“You should come to one of my practices sometime,” Mercy laughs. “I think there are more parents than kids.”

James believes it, oh boy does he believe it, as Mercy stands in front of him gleaming like a shiny trophy under the floodlights. Being out in the artificial sun has darkened their skin and the freckles have multiplied. They’ve been growing their hair out for this role—brightening into a surfer blonde, and waving thickly to their shoulders.

He’s not even going to comment on their silky little shorts.

“I’ve got my own practices, remember?” James says. “But let’s switch schools, hey? You’ve got the one with all the hot parents.”

Mercy opens their mouth to respond, when James notices Dr. Solus and Dr. Chakwas escorting Jack.

They dart from his side, and runs for her. 

With a holler, they slide to their knees in time for Jack to fling her arms around their neck for a hug.

The two clutch at each other, and Jack looks incredibly tiny in Mercy’s big hands. 

Abruptly Mercy stands, bringing Jack with them. They hold her out by the armpits, with their long arms fully extended to beam up at her, like some Lion King shit—and then swings her around. 

Jack shrieks with delight. 

Some pebbles and bugs rise from the grass in little blue bubbles. 

Mercy guides her into some simple stretches as Jack babbles about her week with the doctors. They correct her form easily, and well, it’s a lot to see such a big body be so flexible. 

He watches as Mercy leads Jack into running a lap together, admiring his commander’s easy loping athleticism. Jack laughs, giggling and tripping a little when they hoot out with joy and starts running circles around her with the ball.

Every time Jack laughs, it’s like a sip of good, cold beer with a fat slice of lime after a hard workout. The first time they finally got that kid to warm up and crack a smile, was also the first time James saw his commander cry.

The pair passes the ball between each other, Jack copying Mercy’s increasingly elaborate tricks sometimes so seriously she locks up rather than be loose—but she’s improved a lot since that last time James saw the kid. 

“Shepard would do well in this career,” Dr. Solus says, as they watch Mercy divebomb Jack with a shout and scoop her up. “If chose to retire from intelligence. Is very good with children.”

And his commander does look right, as they jog up to James and the doctors with Jack sitting on their shoulders. Their hands wrap around the kid’s chubby shins entirely. 

“Time for nachos, yes?” Dr. Solus says, and briskly taps his fingers together 

“Nachos, nachos!” Jack chants, Mercy quickly joining in and bouncing.  

“That can’t be the only thing for dinner,” Dr. Chakwas says, smiling too much to pull off stern. “What else?”

“Mangonadas!” Jack hollers, grabbing fistfuls of Mercy’s hair, which they gamely accept with a wince. 

“Tamales!” She leans down and shouts into their ear. 

His commander has turned down their hearing aid in time, judging by their serene expression. 

“Which ones, mija,” James asks. Is this paternal pride? He would lay the world down at this kid’s feet. “¿Cuáles quieres?”

“De rajas,” Jack says with relish, nailing the accent. “Con queso.”

“I like the ones with raisins,” Mercy hums.

“We’ll get those too,” Jack reassures them, patting their cheeks with her little hands.

okay now for some more fun updates!! i had fun at uni yesterday!! we had a super fun soil science lab we got to go into soil pits on the farm our campus has and analyze soil (ph, diagnostic horizons, colour, structure, texture etc) !! It was a lot of fun I’m gonna miss the class and my prof :( (it was my last lab)

another fun thing is its art market week at my uni so time to drop a ton of money on prints, stickers and crocheted animals !!! :D

AND okay so I made it into a special like abroad research kinda program/course in like that’s usually only available to upper years students but somehow I made it in alskkskdjdj . Anyways, we get to go to South Africa from like May 14-June 9 to do research and stuff in the field!!! and like IM SO EXCITED??? So anyways, the 19 students that also made it in (it’s a highly competitive program to get into) we had our second group meet up plus our prof (who taught my favourite class by far last term) yesterday and it was a lot of fun and we got free dinner which was super super yum and I can’t believe I’m actually going ahhhhh

and then I went to a friends house for dinner (yes, dinner again) which was fun we like catch up at least once a month and yeah

She is a bisexual Jewish girl with adhd and she’s been long time friends with Wayde, meeting him in middle school. AND THEN WAYDE 🥶🥶🥶

Wayde is a sly, but charming and charismatic boy. In this au he plays the roll of a villain, minipulating people into falling for him, even boys 🥶 (he’s just too good ik ik) ever since Charlie showed him the show he’s wanted to be on it, living the life of luxury he’s allways deserved. He’s willing to do anything for it Wayde is a straight cis male atheist and has adhd as well, not as bad but he still has it. Buf during the season something unexpected happens with Charlie and Wayde they end up devolving feelings for each other?!?! ALRIGHT OKAY SO;

Firstly I played it solely for the rhythm game part as I mentioned, it has vocaloid songs and some commissioned songs that are made just for the game! I found so many songs I didn't know about before in this game and even more artists who create these songs. I've also come to love the voice actors in the game because their covers of the songs are amazing as well! My playlist now consists mainly of pjsk songs because of this but I'm not complaining

NOW LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT ALL MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS OMGGGG (take note that all of the characters are actually connected in one way or another)

Let's start with my main and most favorite boy; Rui Kamishiro(the guy in my icon rn) He's in the group named Wonderlands x Showtime! and GODS what is up with me and purple haired dudes—He is their stage director and has a lot of extreme ideas for his shows since he can create robots that help him and because of that he has a very wide imagination, he used to make his own shows in a very *ahem* not so legal way (he trespasses lol) and he's a social outcast at his school(specifically in his theater club, but then spreads to the whole school) because of his dangerous ideas. Until he meets the rest of his group(Tsukasa who is egotistical but still cares for those around him, and will literally take anything Rui throws at him, Emu who's all fun and bubbly and joy and just has an absolute fun time even if it's supposedly 'dangerous', and his childhood friend Nene who cares for him and his ideas and genuinely loves theater and shows like him.) and he really REALLY cares for them. Like one time his machine accidentally hurt Tsukasa and he was DISTRESSED LIKE AHSHENMW and they all worked it out in the end and they really just!! Make him so happy that they genuinely listen and want to make his crazy ideas work. He just genuinely wanted a place to fit in and HE FOUND IT WITH THEM‼️He feels so comfortable around them. He makes sure to be extra careful and even puts emergency/safety precautions in his robots to make sure no one gets hurt and he's just so smdmdm I can't I will explode lovingly

THEN HONAMI I cannot explain well but she's so?? Understandable. So she's in a band group named Leo/need, and in their story there are 4 girls who are childhood friends but slowly grow apart (Saki is their keyboardist, who is Tsukasa's little sister, and had to be confined due to her sickly body. Shiho is their bassist, but slowly drifted apart because if I understand correctly her passion for the band was much stronger. Ichika is their guitarist, who wanted to keep them all together but couldn't and since then has felt like her world fell apart. Then Honami is the drummer, but because of her being a friend to everybody, she became a friend to nobody at the same time back when she was in middle school, and at highschool she got scared of losing her friends, of being alone, so she grew apart as well.)

Honami didn't want to lose any more friends, and she thought that by keeping Shiho and Ichika away, her classmates who are her "friends" wouldn't hurt them. Honami's class friends would talk badly about Shiho and she felt so bad. She thought that if she was just friends with one friend group, her other friends wouldn't get hurt. (I SRSLY CANNOT EXPLAIN IT FORGIVE ME, just know that she just came up to the wrong solution but really just didn't want to hurt her friends)

When Saki came back, she got Ichika and Shiho to join back in the band(that's for another story, this is long wjeken) Honami wanted to join, but in fear of her friends getting hurt by her classmates, that she would be forced to pick a side once more, she couldn't. But the three pushed Honami, telling her that it's okay to say her opinion. That she can be HEARD. That they will LISTEN and that they will understand what she wants. And her classmates did. She could finally be free to choose, that they understood that she cared for all of them but had friends that were like family and just ahahaiwkdkdoelw

Okay to start, An is in a group called Vivid Bad Squad. At first, she has a friendly rivalry between these 2 guys named Akito and Toya who are known as BAD DOGS but they all have the goal to become the best group that would defeat RAD WEEKEND (an event that took place when they were kids, but inspired them to take the path as rappers/dancers/singers) then An meets Kohane, a precious little girl who has an amazing singing talent and they become partners known as the Vivids. Kohane feels An's passion, and she helps An with her dreams. But Akito felt differently, because An took an amateur as her partner. Of course at first, Kohane was super nervous. In the end though, An helped Kohane and both guided each other and helped one another grow and proved Akito wrong in the process. An actually thinks Kohane is so talented, and she looks up to her even though it's only been a short time since they've worked together. And Kohane to An, same thing. They look up to each other, and that's why they work so well together!!! Not sure who suggested it anymore but one of them suggest that they(Akito, Toya, An & Kohane) form a group and they all agree, then Vivid Bad Squad is born!

An is pretty insecure actually, she thinks that her group mates are all so talented and that she's falling behind. Kohane tells her otherwise, and always reassures her because she looks up to them as well. It's why I ship them tbh they're just perfect together, I also ship Akito and Toya because they make each other stable as well and help each other with problems like wksmdmd

Then we have Haruka!

I'm actually not the biggest fan of MORE MORE JUMP! But they're an idol group consisting of 3 idols who lost their dream, and 1 who aspires and dreams to be an idol. (Minori is super fun and bubbly, she's actually pretty similar to her friend Kohane other than the fact that she's not as shy. Shizuku is an idol who is the one considered to be the most beautiful of their group, and she's a very doting older sister that Shiho finds a bit annoying lol. Airi, who is both in the idol and entertainment industry! Though the entertainment part wasn't exactly what she wanted and was forced into it, but she's great at it! :'D and of course Haruka! She's the most popular in the group, and the one who got Minori into the idol business in the first place.)

Haruka left the idol industry because one of her friends in her group lost the chance to become an idol, and she blamed herself for it. It tormented her until she just left. She went back to school, but felt so out of place since she was still treated like an idol. Minori on the other hand, while she is her fan, she just wanted to be friends with her as she looked up to Haruka. Haruka felt inspired by how Minori worked so hard to become an idol, even after failing to get into an agency multiple times. Airi and Shizuku just became sort of "idol tutors" for Minori in the main story, but it also shows their experiences. Like how Airi left her agency after being told that she would be moving to pure entertainment when she wanted to be an idol, and how Shizuku was treated badly in her group because her agency kept focusing on her and giving her more projects and things to do while the other members in her group basically get ignored. Minori was the groups' hope, she shone very brightly in their eyes and they created the group now known as MORE MORE JUMP! In the end, they just become idols through yt lol.

The event stories even expand on how they grow, they give them more background, and its just more character development and you see their depth. While not my favorite group, I enjoy seeing their stories and their development together as a whole :D

LASTLY BUT NOT THE LEAST, MIZUKIIII

Okay so basically their group consists of 4 people who met on Discord(called Nightcord in game) and they're called Nightcord at 25:00(because they all meet and make music at 1am) but they all have their own mental health problems, especially Mafuyu. (Mafuyu is extremely depressed, she's lost herself and doesn't know why she exists anymore because everything she's ever wanted wasn't actually what she wanted, but what her parents did for her. Kanade composes because it was her father's wish for her. To bring warmth to people, so she tries so hard to help Mafuyu through composing songs, just to bring her emotions back and have her feel warmth. Fun fact; Mafuyu smiles a lot at school, but Emu is terrified of her because she can sense that her smiles have never been real. Then Ena just feels like she's not enough, she creates art but always feels like it's never good enough and tends to compare herself to Mafuyu, who can basically do everything she thinks she 'can't'. But it may be due to the fact that her parents neglect her and her little brother Akito. Now for Mizuki! She's s sort of an outcast at school, because she just tends to stand out from others. The only person who understood her was Rui, her friend from middle school, who was also an outcast like her.)

Mizuki honestly doesn't play as big of a role in the main story, but when you read the event stories, you see more of her and how she grows. She feels alone for most of the time, but ever since she met her Nightcord friends (Ena, Mafuyu, Kanade) she felt like she has a place that she's comfortable in.

I love this game so much, even after just playing it for less than a year. (Can't believe I've only been playing since last year of August 25?? Like damn) you HAVE to try it. The characters, their depth, IT'S JUST INSANE. You don't have to of course hwkendn but if you, install the global ver. and we can play together! :D

Summary: In the middle of the campaign. It’s neck and neck between the dungeon master and everyone else. Who’s gonna pull ahead?

It’s finally the end of school and you know what that means time for dungeons and dragons. Y/N, Dustin, and Mike walked down together. Dustin kept talking about strategies on how to pull a head and Mike, was agreeing on some parts. Dustin, wants to play a safe strategy while Mike, wants to hit Eddie head on.

“Y/N what do you think safe or head on?”

“Why not both? We combine both strategies together. We can move certain characters ahead and Eddie can attack them. While saving our strongest ones for last.“

“I don’t know. Maybe, but what if we do this instead-.”

“Do what instead?” Eddie said.

“Uhhh we were planning on pranking Steve. We thought of one idea and it’s kinda dumb.” Y/N said.

“Sure you are.”

“Where’s Lucas?”

“Basketball tryouts.” All three said together

Once everyone was present the game started. The game started off strong, but everyone playing against Eddie was losing.

“You know it’s not too late to walk away.”

“Guys let’s huddle together and think of a strategy.”

“So what are we gonna do? We’re getting our asses kicked over. We need at least one or two good strategy. Does anyone have any ideas?”

“We can attack from the darkness or focus on our fire. If we attack from the darkness we can take out some of Eddie’s grung by darkness. We can attack them-.” As Mike was talking he was cut off by Dustin.

“What if Eddie’s grung are holding torches?”

“Then we can extinguish our torches we can still attack them. They can only see right in front of them. If that does work then we can focus on your fire. We can get each fighter attacks and hits each a separate bugbear, there’s like 3 bugbear left standing 17 average hit points. If we hit them on their own turn we can strike back with 33 damage”

“That’s not a bad idea at all Y/N, let’s do it!”

They went through with extinguishing the torches first and only got 10 points. They need 41 more points to be tied up with Eddie.

They did the other plan and caught up with Eddie.

“What! How!”

“Well played everyone. Till next time.”

Everyone packed up and left while Y/N stood behind to helped Eddie.

“You’re a good player Y/N, but you could be better if I teach you some more.” Eddie said while smirking.

“Maybe I could use some more practices especially from the dungeons master. Before the next meeting we can hangout and you can show me some more techniques.”

“That sounds like a good idea. Maybe you should come over tonight and I can show you some techniques in bed tonight.”

“I should maybe I can beat the dungeon master in bed.”

“I doubt that, but I would like to see you try sweetheart.”
