Ok, guys. I think this is starting to get out of control. Some people are sending confessions very offensive when talking about Mizuki. I have to again remember you guys that idols are just an entertainment and you should not get so emotionally involved with this world. Remember that you guys only know a fraction of what is happening behind the scenes. So why are you guys jumping into conclusions about someone's character? The real world is not black and white, but shades of grey.

most flipped on mizuki after the kaede drama but i BEEN clocked what she’s really like back in 2017 when she looked straight up devastated that chisaki, cg's center at the time, was joining momusu. i will never forget that she wasn't even trying to hide it IN FRONT OF CHISAKI. i know she was just gagged thinking about the idea of her post-riho spotlight potentially being stolen instead of acting like a grown woman and stepping up as a leader. the way she introduced chisaki to the group was so bleak and doom and gloom the rest thought mizuki was announcing her own graduation... but that's 100% on upfront for letting her hog the front with no real competition for seven long years. a good reality check from getting ate up and outshined by a new girl would've humbled her crimson chin ass a long time ago and we could’ve avoided the nasty kaede drama that brought both of their reputations down.

I for one am thoroughly amused by how hard Fukumura bombed the first outings of what I must assume is her image rehab campaign in preparation of her solo debut. She managed to succeed in uniting all of HP fandom against her by painting all of them as ageist creepy stalkers. It takes a certain kind of talent. Let’s see how much deeper a hole she can dig for herself before HP management makes her stop.

I'll level with you, I don't like Mizuki, and think she should have graduated sooner, but I also think a lot of fans are too hard on her. Regardless of what views she may or may not have had on how MM should operate, she shouldn't have been making those decisions regardless. I'm more annoyed by management not having a vision for the group and (allegedly) allowing a single member to influence the group culture in a harmful way. I don't think Tsunku would have sat by and let things get so bad.

According to Nechin in the early years of 12th gen’s tenure, 9-11th gen were so harsh as seniors to 12th gen that it hurt them. Sakura apologized and said she blamed them for the group’s shortcomings and should’ve treated them better. In 2020 Fukumura told Tsunku that she didn’t let 12th and 13th gen grow and complained that they weren’t showing off themselves at this point. The funny this is that despite all this info coming from members themselves people still shat on 12th gen even though they endured a dictatorship-like setting where they were stifled then BLAMED for not doing well. There are already 9th gen wota blaming Nechin for talking about it and saying she should’ve kept quiet because it ruins their “”happy”” image of the group. I already hated Fukumura but I literally hate Upfront with a burning passion for letting Fukumura be leader for a whole decade and not stepping in and fixing her leadership style that let 9-11th gen walk all over 12th gen. But I’m so proud of 12th gen for sticking it through and I pray they stick together long enough to lead the group together even for a bit.
