I don't get why UFA doesn't want a real ace for Morning Musume. When they did interviews around the time of the two 13th gen auditions and one 15th gen audition all the members except Fuku-chan, Sakura and Maria said they wanted a really charismatic ace or a girl with looks so striking she could instantly become center so they understood how necessary it is. And be so fr, I don't believe for one second those types of girls don't show up to the auditions.

Morning Musume needs an ace next audition. Seriously. For the 13th and 15-16th generation auditions, almost every member except one or two of them said they wanted an ace to come and join the group. Maa said she wanted the next Goto Maki to join 15th gen so she had a rival. They *want* someone who will draw in attention for the group. Plus it's great marketing, which is why all the top male and female J-idol groups outside of H!P have an ace.

Ok, guys. I think this is starting to get out of control. Some people are sending confessions very offensive when talking about Mizuki. I have to again remember you guys that idols are just an entertainment and you should not get so emotionally involved with this world. Remember that you guys only know a fraction of what is happening behind the scenes. So why are you guys jumping into conclusions about someone's character? The real world is not black and white, but shades of grey.

most flipped on mizuki after the kaede drama but i BEEN clocked what she’s really like back in 2017 when she looked straight up devastated that chisaki, cg's center at the time, was joining momusu. i will never forget that she wasn't even trying to hide it IN FRONT OF CHISAKI. i know she was just gagged thinking about the idea of her post-riho spotlight potentially being stolen instead of acting like a grown woman and stepping up as a leader. the way she introduced chisaki to the group was so bleak and doom and gloom the rest thought mizuki was announcing her own graduation... but that's 100% on upfront for letting her hog the front with no real competition for seven long years. a good reality check from getting ate up and outshined by a new girl would've humbled her crimson chin ass a long time ago and we could’ve avoided the nasty kaede drama that brought both of their reputations down.

I for one am thoroughly amused by how hard Fukumura bombed the first outings of what I must assume is her image rehab campaign in preparation of her solo debut. She managed to succeed in uniting all of HP fandom against her by painting all of them as ageist creepy stalkers. It takes a certain kind of talent. Let’s see how much deeper a hole she can dig for herself before HP management makes her stop.

I'll level with you, I don't like Mizuki, and think she should have graduated sooner, but I also think a lot of fans are too hard on her. Regardless of what views she may or may not have had on how MM should operate, she shouldn't have been making those decisions regardless. I'm more annoyed by management not having a vision for the group and (allegedly) allowing a single member to influence the group culture in a harmful way. I don't think Tsunku would have sat by and let things get so bad.
