I've been juggling a lot of things at the moment but!!!! Just wanted to drop this here to show I am indeed still alive and making UWE fanart as promised! This is a little peek at a slightly bigger (?) animation I've been working on whenever I get the chance to amid everything else I'm doing! Never posted this doodle of maybe a new fursona design (v.4). Dragon lol I kept some of the silhouette from the previous design and blended it with some stuff from the Somnivagrant, the eyeless & amorphous dog thing I use for my non-fanart stuff. Mostly the sun orb tbh love the sun orb... The Somnivagrant sort of possesses my fursona but it's more like it's bored and just wants to go on adventures than that it's like actively affecting my fursona in any way haha It can leave whenever it wants. But I thought it'd be cool to combine the designs a little. Maybe Somni's been hitchin a ride in my 'sona's meatsuit for so long it's started changing his form a bit. Idk. There's no real lore here

I didn't sketch it out here very much, but I was thinking of a design where he stores energy in his tail kinda like a gecko and there's glowing energy visible between some of the scale plates. Forgot his tusks oops

Had a squirrel on my balcony 🔥🔥🔥

#so excited. i finally thought of a way to keep bird seed out here while keeping it very clean and contained #(want to be respectful to our downstairs neighbors)#(put a small suet block into a planter drainage tray then put that on a small table with a lip around the edge)#and this is the first time ive gotten to see something attracted to it! i also have a hummingbird feeder up now #so hopefully that'll get some visitors soon. i figure once fall rolls around the Anna's humminbirds may start coming to it #next step.... getting the squirrel to stay while im out here...... (<- sits on the porch to eat my breakfast and wants to see animals)

had an amazing interview yesterday.... was told I'd know by Monday.... but it's alleged they DRUG TEST and I just bought 6 packs of weed edibles 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

trying to convince the landlord to let us have a cat AGAIN please please please please please!!! his big thing is "allergens" and "pee accidents" but we're the only tenants in the building and signed a 2 year lease and we want a hairless cat which have less allergens AND cats piss in a litter box man... a past tenant apparently had a puppy that pissed everywhere and fucking ruined it for all future tenants :/

Rant

I love my job because I love working with kids. I love seeing them grow and watching the ways their little minds work and helping them when they need it.

I also hate my job because I'll get used and abused all day, having to do things that AREN'T MY RESPONSIBILITY because literally no one else is paying attention to the kids, I am the only one watching even though I'm NOT the teacher, I'm NOT the classroom aide, I am a one-on-one.

But I CARE. I care so FREAKING MUCH about these kids that I can't just not do anything. I have TRIED to not do anything. It never works. And it's maddening and I hate it I hate it I hate that I can be USED in this way.

But by God these kids do not deserve to suffer just because I'm the only adult in the room willing to DO MY GOSHDANGED JOB so I do more than I should because these are LITTLE PEOPLE who don't UNDERSTAND. I want to wear a shirt every day that says, "I'm doing this FOR THE KIDS."

I just wish somebody else would do it for them too.
