If I should ever have an untimely death, I want my gravestone or memorial plaque to contain the following quote front and center:

I want my loved ones to know that my love for them prevails after death. I want my enemies to know that my spite for them prevails after death. Only these words will do fair justice to me.

I got my life insurance papers! It’s official, when I die I won’t be giving my family a sudden expense. Also means I avoid cremation. Maybe it’s my catholic upbringing, but also as an atheist I like the idea of my atoms returning to the earth. I want to up the policy to cover a green burial, (I was told it’s more like 20k and I got 10k to adjust to the expense) because embalming slows how you rot even after burial for decades. At least now I can afford to be put in the ground, and maybe in a few years I can afford to ensure it’s done without embalming.
