Welcome to Fall Sunday in the Chill Valicer Save, on the Chill Valicer Honeymoon! AKA the One Nice Day that the trio GOT on said honeymoon. Obviously they needed to make the most of that, so I planned a nice outing to one of the public beaches in Sulani --

But first, they had to wait for it to be, you know, actual DAYTIME. XD Can't enjoy the sunshine if the sun isn't up! And so, while they waited out the super-early morning clouds:

-->Alice got on breakfast, making some nice buttered crumpets for herself and Victor! Yes, buttered crumpets -- I wasn't sure what would be a good "islandy" breakfast, so instead I leaned more into them being English. :p She then moved back to using her travel easel to do a little more surreal painting, though she didn't get a giant payout for that particular work, boo. :p Come on, Alice, more $12K masterpieces please!

-->Smiler headed back to the fishing spot to see what they could catch -- mostly driftwood, to my annoyance, but they did snag an invasive perch from the waters (thus prompting the weird "glowing green leaf over their face" picture you see above XD) and, eventually, a gorgeous swordfish! :D AND all this fishing actually got them to level 10 of the Fishing skill, meaning they finally completed their Angling Ace aspiration! Now fishing is even more relaxing for them, as well as useful for making plasma packs. :p

-->And Victor did a quick illustrative painting on his sketchpad (which turned out to be a masterpiece, if not as profitable as some of Alice's are), before grabbing some breakfast --

And starting a new puzzle! Because why not? He chose to do a "dragon blossom" puzzle -- and once Smiler had gotten their big catch stowed away in the fridge, and Alice had finished her latest painting, his two partners joined him! They had a lovely time puzzling together, chatting and chilling, and the final puzzle product was -- not exactly what I was expecting, but still pretty. :) I think I've created a very pro-puzzle family here!

By this point, the sun was finally starting to come out, so I got the trio on the beach to enjoy some early rays and do a little more beachcombing. This time, Victor and Smiler had a lot more luck -- Victor grabbed a scallop shell and a sea urchin shell, while Smiler got an abalone shell and another Eyes Of Sulani treasure! Alice came up short on her first attempt, but a second sort through the sand gave her a small conch shell, nice. So now they had some souvenirs to take home, yay. :) I then had Alice let out a somber howl (gotta keep the Fury low when out in public!) before having everyone change into more beach-appropriate clothing and get in a little relaxation on their provided beach towels...

S o l S o u l C h a l l e n g e

Have you ever wanted to switch it up from typical family gameplay but still want to feel the coziness and don't know where to start? Then this challenge is for you! Welcome to the DINK Lifestyle - ie dual income, no kids.

The main idea of this challenge is to play the life of a sim/sim couple that has no kids! Sometimes it can be refreshing to approach the sims from a new perspective, and in a world of sims challenges that surround having and raising kids, I thought it would be fun to have one where the whole thing is having a fulfilling life/game without kids. Especially now that with Life and Death, your game doesn’t have to end just because the main household died, why not focus on something other than kids?

you'll need all packs to be able to do this challenge.

rules: no money cheats! you can, however, cheat your sim to have a max of level 5 skill levels for 5 skills of your choice. (for example, you can cheat your sims to have lvl 5 baking, lvl 5 flower arranging, lvl 3 gardening, lvl 4 photography, and lvl 2 handiness). this is optional, but will be beneficial to give you better choices for degrees relative to your sims traits/story! Long lifespan not required but highly recommended.

speaking of, your sim can have any aspiration, traits, and likes/dislikes you want! choose to your hearts content! this challenge is more about shifting how you play vs the kind of sim you want. that said, obviously, you'll want to avoid family-based traits and aspirations.

finally, NO KIDS! you can play this challenge as loose or as strict as you'd like, however, the one main rule is NO KIDS! You can play this either as your sim not wanting kids and/or (by using the custom gender settings in CAS) they can be infertile.

alright, here we go~

Young Adult

you, whether by choice or by nature (i.e., infertility), are not going to have kids. oh well, that doesn't mean your life is over! you can still have a cozy, comfortable, and romantic life without kids! so let's set you up for success! ♡

you can move into any of these worlds to start your household: willow creek, oasis springs, tartosa, mt komorebi, sulani, chestnut ridge, henford-on-bagley, brindleton bay, or windenburg. You must start as only one sim, no pets. move into a small lot (20x20 or 20x15 or you can move into a 1bd or studio in a rental lot if you have For Rent and place a rental lot in your selected world).

apply to university, choose any degree of interest but only take 3 courses at a time (no electives).

move into the university housing

join one university organization

make three friends, one must be college best friend (take lots of photos of your friends!)

have a college partner, break up before graduation.

"move" back into the world you set your sim up in.

before getting a job, 'find' yourself by taking a 7 day vacation in any of these worlds (obviously, not the one you live in, though): granite falls, sulani, mt komorebi, tomarang, henford-on-bagley, or tartosa.

have a short, romantic fling with a local during the vacation. end it on the last day.

return home and get a job related to your degree! Congratulations!

adopt a pet of your choice with your bonus money.

make 3 friends with locals! (you can make some!)

make a local best friend! (again, can be premade!)

make two clubs! one for your college friends and one for your local friends! meet up to connect whenever you want at your sims' favorite local spot!

earn silver doing a social event of your choice with your local and college friends!

go on a 3-day vacation with your local friends to any of these worlds (unless you live there and/or been there before): granite falls, sulani, mt komorebi, tomarang, selvadorado, san myshuno, or windenburg.

it's time to focus on your health! start up on the wellness skill, whether it be through yoga, meditation, or both, is up to you!

make a third (and final) club for your coworkers and make friends with at least two coworkers!

go on 3 dates with 3 different sims

go on a date with a 4th sim, go on 3 dates with that 4th sim before asking to be in an exclusive relationship. (note: if after the 2nd date the sim autonomously asks to be in a relationship with your sim, you can say yes!)

get engaged (wait a min of an in-game week)!

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 103 (Lavender is Adorable & Malcolm Follows a Lead)

Finally back home after the end of Winterfest break, Conrad caught Heather looking at her ring with a grin while she cleaned up the kitchen. "Did you think you want to set a date yet?" he asked.

She grinned, practically giddy against his charming smile. "Still no."

He laughed, heading into the living room to play with Lavender, where she sucked her slippered toe and chewed her toys. She'd sat up on her own on Boxing Day morning, but she was still more comfortable getting a bird's eye view of the world. Conrad and Heather didn't want to push her; she'd pull herself up with regularity when she had places she wanted to get to.

Heather got dressed and returned from the bedroom to find Conrad chatting with Lavender on the sofa. "It's so much fun to crawl around, sweet girl. You're gonna want to try it soon. I know it."

Heather smiled. "I thought instead of breastfeeding, I could help Lavender explore foods this morning."

Conrad set her up in the high chair as Heather opened a jar of crushed carrots. But Lavender was totally uninterested, batting away the spoon and sticking out her tongue, ejecting the orange mush from her mouth with a grimace.

Heather sighed. "I think we have a picky eater on our hands."

As it turned out, Lavender hated the texture, and sometimes the taste, of most baby foods, so Heather kept breastfeeding. "When she's ready for finger foods, maybe she'll be less picky," suggested Conrad with a hopeful smile.

Lavender's three infant quirks: Loves Wake Up Time, Picky Eater, and the lesser-noted Frequently Hiccups (because it's been mostly inconsequential since Lavender's such a happy baby).

Soon enough, Lavender was upright all the time, and Heather and Conrad chalked it up to her wanting to be tall enough to hang with Gord. The beloved Bernese loved Lavender, often moving in for pets from Lavender's tiny palms. He offered nose rubs in return while the infant giggled wildly.

Conrad, meanwhile, had chased too many leads for Rafa to precisely nowhere, and Ximena had stayed undetected throughout the holidays. As far as Rafa was concerned, he was beginning to fear he was looking for another dead body, but he couldn't let himself rest until he knew for sure.

Trying to relax in the living room with his family, he took a call from Zion Spangler. "George and his wife extended their time in Sulani," reported the young detective. "He won't be coming home for questioning any time soon." Conrad hung up and rubbed his temples in frustration.

Heather frowned in their crowded living room. Ash was practicing a speech for class in the mirror and Lavender was playing with Gord, so she couldn't talk to Conrad about the case. He hadn't shared much, but the police detail lingered outside their home and the clinic, so she knew Ximena was still at large.

She wanted him to be able to find Rafa. She knew how much it meant to him, and how it tore at him not to be any closer to learning what happened. They were both ready to put all of this past them.

In San Myshuno, Malcolm had done some digging into the murder at the docks from his penthouse. Law enforcement wouldn't speak to him about the confidential file, but he'd managed to uncover George Brindleton's shady investment in the company's crooked books, and tracked down the man himself at his tropical villa in Sulani.

"Thank you for talking to me today, Mr. Brindleton. I gather with your secrecy, you don't talk to many reporters."

"This is off the record," grunted George. "I want to get to know you before I tell you anything about my work. You are a Landgraab, after all."

He frowned. "Malcolm's fine."

"I told the detectives I don't know a single damn thing about a murder at the docks. I'm a good businessman and I know where to trim the fat from my investments. Demand. Supply. It's not my fault that for the first time in decades, someone died of anything other than old age or rabies in Brindleton Bay."

"Do they think it was someone from your company?"

"No, they've asked what we know about some cartel called Los Tigres. Hey! Hey Rafael, bring me another soda with extra lime!" He turned his attention back to Malcolm over their video connection with a sneer. "The wait staff at this villa is horrible, but the booze is strong and the sun is hot!"

Malcolm curled his lip at flagrant George Brindleton, taking note of the name of the cartel. "I'm sure the wait staff would be better at a more expensive villa, Mr. Brindleton."

George sneered. "You're a punk reporter, I see. Think you're better than me just because you've got that Landgraab elitism running through your veins?"

Malcolm shrugged. He'd always been a snob, and most people were right when they called him an ass, but he'd found reasons to smile after becoming a father and marrying his wife. He didn't want to spend his night arguing with an angry old man. "It's been a pleasure, Mr. Brindleton. I think I have everything I needed from you, but if you have more to say, by all means, call the news station anytime."

"What does some big city national reporter want with a story about a body in Brindleton Bay, anyway?"

"The story is important, but my son lives in Brindleton Bay. On a personal level, I care that he's safe, and if your company isn't doing their job, I think my mother would love to know there's an open business opportunity at the docks. Demand and supply, and all that."

"You have a son in Brindleton Bay?"

"I do. The local vet is his mother."

George froze as the waiter named Rafael approached with his drink.

"Your son is Heather Nesbitt's son?" He stammered. "Listen, there's no need to start a competing security company in Brindleton Bay...as a matter of fact, I'm gonna tell my guy to go back to the old schedule, effective immediately, so don't even bother."

George ended the video call with a click. The names of Heather's kids had been redacted in the restraining order, but the order had covered the school and the daycare, as well as the house. It's not like he really needed to be able to single them out from any of the other squealing brats in his town - despite his threats outside the courthouse, he preferred to stay away from all of them.

George was more focused on the bigger picture than scaring kids - asserting his importance to the safety of Brindleton Bay served him far better. He'd expected a rise in hooliganism, not a murder, when he pulled his guys from the docks, but the sequence of events had played right into his hands while he sipped cocktails in the sunshine.

He had no reverence for most of the Brindleton Bay Police Force. They'd been in his pocket for decades and they needed him now more than ever. But the Landgraabs were a bigger fish than any he pulled from the Simlandia Sea in his fishing days.

He smiled, taking the drink from Rafael. "Thank you, amigo. Here's a tip to keep 'em coming."

June stood and pleaded with her husband. "Don't drink all morning, George!"

"Don't tell me what to do, June."

Rafa smiled. "Yes, sir. I'll bring round number two before you fall asleep in the lounge chair again for your afternoon nap."

With the Sulani sun beating down on his forehead, George Brindleton considered what he'd learned from Malcolm Landgraab. ->

Episode 13- The Finale

So I originally had a whole plan with a competition but I quickly gave that up as my energy has been pretty low. I decided to just give the guys 2 days uninterrupted with Penny and whoever ended up with the highest romance and friendship score wins.

We start this finale off with a dinner Penny herself cooked for the guys as they just landed in Sulani. Everyone ate, drank kava, and had some good conversations. That quickly ended after Silas asked for a steamy make out with Penny. He wanted some privacy so they ended up in the bathroom. Poor Raiden was passed out from the flight so he was out for the count that night.

Jaxon decided to bring Penny with him on the dance floor. She still feels like despite this romantic setting she still feels like a friends with benefits with him. She couldn’t resist a kiss tho! After she bounced all around the villa Darius hit her with that “you want kids right? Well we need to practice.” Penny was like yes sir! Darius ended up staying the night in her room. Hehehe.

Next morning everyone was severely hungover but enjoyed some time by the pool. Darius gave Penny a kiss in the water and immediately after Silas lost all romantic interest in Penny. 😭 I tried to see if they could salvage it but their romance went to 0. After that they tried to go snorkeling but Silas was no where to be found. Looks like he was already planning a trip home.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Flirting here and convos there. They all ended the day with some good memories but who will be the one to make memories with Penny forever? Find out this afternoon (2pm est)!

The final destination on Heather’s bucket list was Sulani. It was a place she had been to once before but never really gotten to know. She knew her Dad had grown up there in a hippy island community, that he had resented it and moved away. She had always wanted to know more about this place that looked so tropical and picturesque in all the pictures - surely it couldn’t be as bad as her Dad made it out to be.

Indeed upon arriving Heather realised her Dad was surely wrong. This place was a paradise. An island haven of beautiful beaches and oceans. These days it was less hippy commune than it was in the 70s, and more tourists and spring break beach parties. But that didn’t stop Heather from exploring it at her own pace. She would snorkel in the reefs and JetSki across the foreshore, feeling the salty spray in her hair. She would purchase food out of little beach shacks - barbqeued fish, sweet tropical fruits and Kalua pork - and eat it on the beach.

Heather made contact with her cousins while in Sulani and spent time with them too. She got to know her cousin Siouxie well and the two would often go to the beach in the late afternoon to sunbathe and swim.

Siouxie showed Heather the fun side of Sulani. She helped her find a job bartending at one of the many beach shacks that lined the foreshore, and every night Heather would sling cocktails before clocking off and partying with the rest of the backpackers and college students that came through.

And every now and then someone new would catch Heather’s eye, and those little sparks she loved would begin to fly. She couldn’t help herself but fall head over heels for every girl that reciprocated her affection.

The Don Diaries

The final day of the Lothario vacation happens to be on Winterfest, and Don is... not in the chair Gracie is side-eyeing.

All that cheating makes you tired, apparently, and by the time Don wakes up, Gracie is walking off.

Don eats breakfast with his parents, but the obvious problems between him and Gracie are kinda harshing the vibe.

Nicolo is every grandpa on vacation after a large meal.

Gracie finally comes back and corners Don on the deck.

I guess she's trying to fix their relationship, but where did she even find mistletoe in Sulani?!

Don tries to get away but she literally chases him down to discuss marriage.

Don successfully evades the marriage discussion and goes off to buy lunch, and finds a familiar face tending the stand.

Gracie immediately senses a disturbance in the force.

... for good reason. SHE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU, DON!

This is where Don unwisely decides to "make a move" because he is completely set on ruining his life at every opportunity. I allow it, hoping that Gracie is too far away, and completely forgetting that WW has a preference for beds. And that Don's bed is not far enough away for him to pick somewhere else. And of course Gracie insists on walking in at the exact same time.

Don tries to apologise… which would probably be more effective if Cali girl wasn't still standing right there.

Yeah, no. It's over. Bye, Gracie! We barely knew you. Or cared. Or managed to remember you. Sorry.

It's still Winterfest though, and even though Gracie has left, Matteo at least gets to meet Father Winter.

Don gets no presents, though. He has most definitely not been good this year.

Hey, Don? Did you learn your lesson this time?

I guess not. Good thing this vacation is over.

hassan NEEDS TO EAT, NOW! and yeah, at this point, paradise is soooooo stinky not even polite robin can stand it 😶🤭 and, guys, thea is already sharing private jokes with sebastian (even though seb not always gets thea's sense of humour 😋).

eleina has been working on the garden, and succeeding!! thea is making her first try at the woodbench and robin and hassan were sent fishing... huh? robin? there's no emily monster in sulani, dude! 😂😂😂

dodo has found a good listener in eleina, who can hear his monologues about physical balance for... hours?? bless you, girl! 🤭 sebastian keeps determined on finding that pirate treasure he heard of! and OH MY GOD! PARADISE FOUND THE WATERFALL!!! 🚿🚿

i think dodo is embarrassed for being so stinky in front of his two romantic interests (robin is stinky too, don't you worry, dodo!! hehe!). guess robin wants pizza... no food delivery on the island, i am afraid!

and proper food is finally ready and paradise approves! by proper food i mean grilled fish 🐟🐟🐟

The State Of The Iggleverse 2025

The Iggleverse, a term I've used since starting my tumblr to simply explain my style of play. That is, everything I post is connected, from one sim to the next. The first iggleverse, that dated back to my first sim, Lourdes, went on for a few years and everything was connected.

I soft relaunched that iggleverse, which was easily done since, little did the reader know (since I never got that far) Telah had become the holder of the Watcher's Key (something I referenced then every now and then) and since I was literally the Watcher (well who else could it be!?) I used that little device to restart it even again. Dalton, Telah's son, who was the main heir in one of my darkest runs, had battled with Lovecraftian monsters and ancient deities and it had destroyed his universe...which was sort of explained by the introduction of his daughter who said she had escaped a destroyed universe...

Long story short, I still had connections to the first Iggleverse in even this latest one. For example, Gracelyn's mother was explained to be from another universe and her father was a traveller of different planes of existence...and her mother was a blood witch. Did this get mentioned? It might be mentioned in a post I have queued...but the term blood witch brings it all back to Dalton's story and a certain evil spellcaster that had summoned an ancient deity into his world...

All this to say. The iggleverse is kind of complex. I like that. But I try to tell a story with the intention of someone diving in at any moment and sort of getting right into it. It's why I always tell new readers, oh just jump in. To me, a story can be as complex as rocket science as long as the reader is focused on one thing at a time and is not overwhelmed. The past is a reference and the future is unknown.

After all, the beginning of any story is where you decide it is, but the ending, well, that's a lot more final.

The truth is, Frida, Zer, Gracelyn, and Teresa (who was cursed being 4th because of my fascination with odd numbers) have run their short course.

I hate doing this again but I only do it because it must be done. I realize that the way I was producing them and the past few set of heirs was completely wrong.

It took too long to even play one day of their gameplay because of how much I over thought things, over planned things, and then what made it worse is that I was still playing the game and so every time a sim did something different it meant rewriting the present and changing the future. For anyone that's tried to write a novel you know how much changing one thing can just cause a domino effect of you having to rewrite the whole thing...and this is what was constantly happening.

Example...I had a heir named Kyoko. Some of you may remember her, she was in Sulani and she had once met a sim that was supposed to be her romantic interest, don't remember his name, but they go out on a date and it was going well until one argument flipped her relationship with the guy. I was like well that sucks, I had like so much planned for this couple! But, I do not force my sims relationships, that would be boring! In the end, she end up becoming a mermaid and bleh...

Long story short, this is what was going on with my latest heirs and has been going on since maybe...I forget the last time I completed an actual heir maybe like 2021 or something?!?!

What Now?

Well, I do this for the love of the game! So, I still enjoy doing sim legacies and you will meet THREE new heirs very very very soon. Today, actually!

The Iggleverse must be made new and whole and beautiful and I hope these three heirs are the ones to bring it home and actually have a 2nd generations.

But who is to say you won't just do this again a few months from now?

Well, no one is to say, not even I know that! But, one of the big issues I had with the past one is how slow things were going. I was playing Frida for most of 2024 and she just now had a child! Like I mentioned, the production of my recent legacy attempts has been so slow. A whole episode was a lot of hours of work and then it'd just be like 3-5 days.

Back then I would have had multiple generations in a year like 2 or 3 and daily posting was easily done because I was usually sitting on like 70+ posts. I want to get back to that and the best part, I think I know how!

How?

I must put the legacy ahead of the story, for the longest I was putting story before legacy. It took some enjoyment out of the game because what was happening is I was planning out days for my sims for whatever the story I had planned for them.

Okay, but why not just do all the above and bring back the heirs I've read?

Because its just not how I work! I also have advanced the stories further than read and I don't like them. I feel like because I tried to do this mix of storytelling and plotting while doing gameplay it made me write my sims into arcs I didn't like. Kyoko's Mermaid...

Well, okay, but when will the new legacy start?

I don't have a date, could be tomorrow, could be a week from now, it just depends on when I feel like I am ready. It literally could be tomorrow though because the christmas week, the week I planned on posting Frida, Teresa, Zer, and Gracelyn, because I had time, I spent making new heirs and writing them and I have content ready to post! More than one might expect but that is because I've gone back to my old style of production. Which was legacy and gameplay first and story to tie it all together.

No big scrivener file with all the plots I have going (and there were A LOT), nothing but what the next sim day might bring!

Well! Just know that I am still around and starting fresh (again), for those that were attached to the previous four heirs, well, I am sorry and like usual, if anyone wants spoilers I'll post them! I think I'll just post pictures and explanations of what I had planned actually!

Because I want this iggleverse to be completely fresh, no connections at all to any previous iggleverse!

7 Sins Legacy - generation 4 (pride)

The calendar showed that it was Supriya's birthday, so I planned a birthday party for her with her cousins, Rohan's side of the family, and Edgar (her aunt Mia had passed away recently, and Amina and Cedia were in Sulani and couldn't make it that day). My game crashed three times while I tried to change the guests' outfits in MCCC, so finally I gave up and let them wear whatever they were wearing when they arrived at the party. I had also changed some MCCC settings so that sims can age up while being pregnant, but it didn't work because Supriya couldn't blow out the candles on her birthday cake. I then decided to use this party to announce Supriya's pregnancy instead. I also noticed Indira looking at Nicolas a lot and decided to have Supriya talk her up to Nicolas to help Indira out.

Fix it

Hey, guys! It's ME! I'm driving the bus today because there was no way I was going to attempt to make sense of this very sims party! As you can see, Anissa is prepared to TURN UP and is quite proud of what they've done. Let's meet the guests, shall we?

First up, we got Olivia Kim-Lewis-Talla. Say that five times fast! She is married to Duane Talla of Sulani. They have three children and live in Windenburg (I think). We've met their oldest before. She is Noemi's new friend. Olivia is still a princess and got that man working double time to maintain the lifestyle she's accustom to. Is anyone going to tell her that her parents were actually broke and her daddy worked in Rodney's restaurant? 😅

Next, we have Aleah Baker. She's practically a saint and adopted an orphan the day after her young adult birthday. At least that is the only logical reason for her having a teenage daughter as a young adult (she's around Nate's age) without ever being pregnant lol. MCCC never told me about that one. Anyway... She raised her on her own until she met her now husband, Waylon. The daughter, Alessandra, is a friend of Noemi's. We also know Aleah's parents since they frequent Rodney's restaurants. They're the people who asked him what they ordered last time lol.

This is Waylon, Aleah's husband. They live in Glimmerbrook, and for a long time it was the three of them. He's been a great dad to Alessandra and treats her like his own blood. He and Aleah recently decided to expand their family and have two small children together. If you think he looks familiar, you're right! We met him loooooooong time ago when Melany and Anissa were young pups at Britechester. He was the handsome stranger who wanted to play pong with them, and one of the few sims I allowed to be bald lol.

Finally, Duane Talla, everybody. Very unfashionably late too. He's come a long way from being that nice young man on the island. Frankly, he's a bit too relaxed for my tastes lol. You'll see...

Olivia brought all that princess energy and had Anissa plotting evil plans in her head. Y'all see that hand? She had to snatch it back lol. Something about the house being quaint. I was just the photographer lol.

Jorden was looking at Aleah like this all night. Lovestruck says he had an instant attraction. (sigh) Anissa had an instant attraction with Waylon, but I was not surprised lol.

It was all fun and games until Olivia opened her mouth again. Something about it must suck having to work.

If you thought she had a problem keeping her thoughts in her head, get a load of this. As soon as Duane arrived, girlfriend tried to steal Anissa's Lin-Z! In front of everyone! Aleah was appalled at her behavior, but Duane did absolutely nothing. Why are all my Dwaynes ultra passive men?? 😂

Anissa needed a distraction at this point before she actually laid hands on that child. Luckily, Waylon caught her attention. He hit her with the, "Heeey, I know where I know you from." They talked about their time at Britechester, and of course at some point he hit her with the, "Hey, whatever happen to your friend? The famous one." As if you don't know. 😑

This party needed some life. And they weren't hitting the milestones, so I tried to get them all to grab drinks for an easy win. Instead, they grabbed food instead. Weird. Oh well. At least it got them all at the table to get to know each other. Anissa took pleasure in Olivia's embarrassment.

Waylon also couldn't believe Olivia tried to steal and was very uncomfortable being around her. Duane still said nothing and acted like he didn't see it.

Anissa and Jorden were able to grab drinks. When I tell you this man stayed in Aleah's face all night!! I kept telling him not to get in trouble.

If you're wondering, yes, Anissa noticed. No, she did not appreciate it.

I couldn't take anymore, so I ended the party lol. You know this situation will come up again sometime in some form, so don't worry lol. We'll get to the bottom of it!

🎆🎊🍾 Happy New Year From the Whole Nesbitt Fam (with Goths, Gordons, Bells, and a Landgraab, too!) 🎇🎉🗓️

I was going to let this post tomorrow, but I kept thinking that's just too late. So this morning was for plot and this afternoon is for pretending the Nesbitts got together for a family portrait on their lawn at midnight on New Year's Eve.

That's the whole main legacy family in one place to ring in the coming year!

Also, it took three decades but I finally picked a couple name for Daisy and Neal. Happy New Year to Neasy and fam, but mostly to you reading this right now! 🎊🍾

I loaded up the game at night and didn't want to wait for morning. Then I struggled for many hours getting this to look even half decent, trying to keep them posed and waiting for them not to all be breathing steam. Finally I got 16 of 17 sims to pose and Heather to stand somewhat as if she's part of the whole thing, so I'm very happy to call this a day night in celebration of founders Daisy and Neal and all they've built together after 32 years of marriage.

This is by far the most sims I've posed yet so I'm ringing in the New Year with a new challenge for myself. Despite the poor choice of setting and lighting I'm very happy with it - especially since it took three poses in one to get done.

I mainly used @goldoradove's excellent Happy Family pose for 19 sims. But Tetra could not be found among the feet beneath the sofa so I switched tactics and posed her and Heather with BommieSims' Children's Day posepack (only Tetra stayed put), which I can't actually find to link anymore. If anyone knows where to find it, let me know! And Ash was posed with @somneasims' Our Legacy posepack, which I really like a lot - I also used it for Bella and her fam's cozy Winterfest portrait. Even Heather, who isn't looking at the camera, at least looks engaged in the moment enough (watching Tetra balance on her dad's arm when she should be holding her?!) for me to say I'm happy.

Daisy, Neal, his brother Karl, all four kids and six grandkids, plus son-in-law Kris Bell, daughter-in-law Cassandra, future son-in-law Conrad Gordon, and Karl's husband, Mortimer Goth (he's also Cass' dad and Michael and Sammy's granddad; since they missed out on Bella's Winterfest portrait I definitely had to include them now.)

Thank you for a great first half-year on Simblr. I love this place and all your creativity so much. Here's to 2025 and whatever madness this game we all love throws our way!

Friday, we're leaving this ice box weather and sending Conrad to Sulani in search of George Brindleton, who's gone silent, and hopefully (finally) he'll find Rafa, too!

Heather wasn't ready to leave Sulani any time soon. She was enjoying whiling her days away in the ocean and her nights away working and partying.

But when she next visited the internet cafe in town she found a new email from her brother.

Hey Sis

I know you aren't coming back anytime soon, but I have some big news... Kelly and I are getting married at the end of the month!

I know it's happing pretty fast but we're dead serious about this. And also, look don't tell Mom or Dad, but Kelly is pregnant. Bit of an oops but it'll be okay! So yeah gotta get this wedding done before anyone finds out.

I'd really like you to be here and come to the wedding. It would mean the world to us both. You know you're my favourite family member! And Mom and Dad are paying for a big reception so it should be fun (looks like I've finally done something they can brag about to their friends hey?)

Heather was annoyed with her brother - how could he be so irresponsible and careless to get someone pregnant? But she realised she was mostly annoyed that she needed to return home. She wasn't ready just yet, but her duty to be there with her brother to watch him marry the person he loved weighed on her. Especially as she knew she had caused the end of his last serious relationship.

And so Heather returned home to San Sequoia. The place hadn't changed since she had left, but the mark of time passing could be seen on her beloved mother, who seemed much greyer and frailer as she wrapped her daughter in a big hug. It felt good to be home, in her parents arms again.

Dustin hugged Heather as soon as she walked in the door. He was so glad she had come home. It had been so long, and yet she was still his little sister. He introduced her to Kelly - who had known Heather in high school, though never really spoken to her or given her the time of day - and Heather was gracious and friendly.

Heather went upstairs to her childhood bedroom - unchanged since she had left for college so many years ago - and realised she was finally home. It was time to put down her pack and do something with her life.
