Anyway, a portion of rambles and reflections about the odd pace of my life below:

Again. This happened again. First time in months I felt nostalgic for my ocs. They, and everything else tied to my past creative journey, were on this long indefinite hold. At the highest point of my general burnout I just let that sit aside from my usual regular thoughts and daydreams. I had to focus on my new job (which has nothing common with creative field, but it helps to pay bills without worries), on mental and physical health (heck, at some point I got an inflammation in pinky finger joint on my working hand! And at that moment started mourning my chances to be an artist if I ever want to continue drawing, gladly I managed to heal the joint), etc. However, life moved on, and in the meantime, I even got a side-job in education, which is still a huge positive surprise for me. Anyway. Today I caught myself at thinking about picking up drawing stylus again. I was browsing through many of unpublished personal artworks saved on my phone.. and I felt so warm about them again. Don’t know yet what to do with this impulse. How long will it last. But it kicked in again after being dormant for absurdly long time, and that’s a good sign.

Literally, I miss my blorbos and wanna draw them kissing. Is that a lot to wish for?

The future of my patreon still remains uncertain though. Can I conserve it somehow as an archive? I don’t want to delete the whole legacy of my GO AU comicverse there. Also, I feel like I want to keep patreon blog for rare/occasional nsfw art? And post everything else openly without early access, I’m really not in the state of being able to manage multiple platforms at once anymore. Probably best thing I can do is to move all access to art archive regardless of its theme to the nominal minimum of $1. Not for the sake of earning money, but to keep maintaining the proper age-restricted access to my nsfw art which often is very graphic. You get the gist.

Aahhhh so that’s all the news from my creative life for today. Still an artist, just on an odd hiatus. Cheers~

Sorry for this ask being a little out-of-nowhere, but in regards to Ryoma being jealous of Corrin's leadership skills, i do think there's more evidence in favor of Corrin being decently old when they were kidnapped than against; the afterlife section at the end of Conquest confirms that Corrin and Ryoma used to have full-on sparring matches together, meaning that Corrin was being constantly trained in how to fight while living in Hoshido, which would very likely only happen when they were in their early-to-mid-teens at the youngest, given how there's no implication anywhere in the game that Hoshidan soldiers start their training at a very young age.

The only thing that implies they do is Hinoka stating in her support with Camilla that she was 6 years old when she first started training to rescue Corrin (meaning the latter would also have to be 6 at the oldest due to being younger than her), but that line is a mistranslation; JP!Hinoka just states that she's been training to rescue Corrin for a long time.

I know I ranted about FE16's lolcalisation, but FE14 takes the cake though - every single piece of intel seems to have been lolcalised.

With FE16 you can safely assume anything regarding Supreme Leader/Rhea was lolcalised to make one worse than she should to prop the other, but with FE14? Why the fuck did they need to lolcalise Corrin's age, which in turn creates this weird line from lolcalised!Ryoma ?

Corrin being older than what the loc implied would make more sense regarding the events that happened - granted, afair, FE14 doesn't reveal character ages or something?

Excel is such a stupid clunky beast of a program and I am constantly wrong about which things I think will be default basic functions

I know it is possible to consolidate data in such a way as to get rid of empty cells. But good grief is it weirder to implement than I imagined.

1. Splinter Vanishes: felt so many emotions, I scream whenever I think about this episode <3 my lil' guys were left alone </3

2. What's Michelangelo Good For?: I liked Jane Goodfellow + Michelangelo episode + Pigeon Pete!!!

3. Michelangelo Meets Mondo Gecko: MONDO GECKO!!! Michelangelo's dream and Mondo Gecko coming back to save him were some of my favorite parts and then the "We're born to be best buds!". I am screaming

4. Snakes Alive!: My poor boy Leonardo and his Ophidiophobia <\3 Good thing I like seeing my faves suffer a bit

5. Unidentified Flying Leonardo: My poor lil' guy left alone and mistaken for an alien <\3

6. Raphael Versus the Volcano: Absolutely adore how he chooses to go off doing good deeds. Also, I liked the bit of Michelangelo crying over the pizza oven and Raphael thinking it was over him being near death

7. Adventures in Turtle-Sitting: Babies 🥰

8. Back to the Egg: I am a sucker for turtle tots

9. Donatello's Degree: So in love with Donatello getting his education, and IRMA IS THERE AS WELL !!!

10. Leonardo is Missing: Has one of my favorite moments ever, Splinter calling Leonardo son while he's doing some ancient ninja mind probe technique to look for him <3

Special mention: Planet of the Turtleoids: Not specifically my favorite, but I'm constantly thinking about Donatello's thoughts and what they mean
