An Introduction - Breaking Routine

Haruka Tsukikaze was always mellow and soft-spoken, keeping her cool under fire. And while she might seem serene, that’s because all the stress has gone into her shoulders and gave her a resting tense posture. Because both her parents were often on business trips to other countries such as France, Italy, England, and the United States, that often left Haruka alone to fend for herself. While they were gone, she learned how to cook for herself and turned a vacant guest room into a sort of art studio where she’d spend time painting both as a hobby and for her school’s art class.

When the school’s cooking club opened applications for a new treasurer after the previous one moved away, she applied despite being a first-year and got accepted in a heartbeat… to a whole slew of problems involving the entire extracurricular system’s crippling loan problems. Or more specifically, a monstrous loan totaling 50,000,000¥ and nothing less. She was the treasurer; she had to do something. Several plans later, she was tasked with fundraising in order to raise money for the school to dig them out of their debt. And dig them out she would with weekly fundraisers and constant meetings with the club to learn more about how to make new things such as new boba flavors.

On the academic side since the start of her third year, she was often asked by others in her history class to help others with their homework because of her cool-headed composure in the face of what other third-years called “The Academic Oni” simply because the professor in question was large, in charge, and pulled no punches with making the class as hard as the school would allow. This didn’t mean she didn’t want some time to herself, however.

As of her second term break, Haruka’s been trying to make time to relax. It wasn’t until one stormy January night after one of her boba sales when a butterfly Shade, a teaching ed with a magic camera, and a bunny gave her the change of pace she wanted: becoming a magical girl with wind powers that only grow in bad weather. It would only be a matter of time before multiple outside parties would take note of her and make their mark on her new tenure as a magical girl…

THE X-FILES | 2x13 'IRRESISTIBLE' & 6x15 'ARCADIA'

The three shadow-themed original characters I came up with for my own project- Hinako, Hinaka, and Yukari- (none of which I have written much on this blog with so much as a muse bio, but a basic blurb is on the pinned spreadsheet) aren’t necessarily antagonists despite their abilities

Hinako was originally written off for a smaller friend group project as a standalone and recluse who originally escaped from her captors that (for lack of a better word) “gave” her abilities over darkness, fire, and shapeshifting primarily into a nine-tailed fox composed of darkness. Most of which was retained for a second project with those same powers and muns.

Now she’s written off as an outside world shrine maiden with those abilities and general practices of purification, blessings, exorcisms, everything else you’d expect from a normal shrine maiden who’s friends with another classmate who likes to dress up like a magician. I kid you not, I wrote this before I found Touhou, yet this still screams ReiMari

Hinaka was a character I wrote in for a Discord RP server event where people would make a muse of any kind (within general server rules) and interact while not making it obvious who the mun is behind them (I got found out very quickly). She was written off as a teaching assistant who would play a role in Haruka’s introduction arc (same written progress instances with her, but she now has hindsight-noticed motifs of both Aya and Suwako) but then (again, for lack of a better word) gets isekai’d elsewhere because of a supernatural force instead of the Class Act Truck-Kun™️ and gains abilities over light, darkness, and gravity which she soon learns is controlled through a camera as she tries to regain some lost memories (once again, originally written for Haruka)

Yukari (not Yakumo) is someone I wrote about as interest in the second friend group project was generally fading, back when I just called her Kit. She was originally written off as a secondary antagonist who’d fall through a slow-burn redemption arc, initially based off a character who (once yet again, for lack of a better word) I will NOT mention because it shears through my own Rule 1.

Originally, her abilities would include lasers, solid darkness manipulation, creating sentient shadows, form manipulation, time manipulation, basically everything a Big Bad would need to fit the role before her slow-burn arc reaches the climax that dictates repentance and redemption. But now she’s basically written down as a sort of antihero protagonist who has her own revenge motives against the same Big Bad as the other main group, while retaining a similar if not the exact same set of abilities I had written before.

Post-redemption, she now plays a major role as a mentor/guardian on a setting I’ve mentioned here before as the “West Mountain” which was a mountain near Shibuya that was originally the epicenter of an apocalyptic event propagated by the Big Bad Evil Guy until Yukari entered her redemption phase and contained it using her abilities. Yeah, she changed a lot, but I had to give her a name. That’s how she got her full name as Yukari Kamimaru, with her nickname being there juuuuuust in case I end up musing Yukari Yakumo (which I might)

There are some other characters I’ve Marisa’d off unrelated sources and passing trends such as darkness abilities and the Umi Bozu, although the point still stands that major rewrites are needed to ensure you can tell each character apart. I can and will rattle off about my other character concepts in the DMs if you let me, and I’ll let you do the same

Introducing the Doo Doo Save File - Version One!

Disclaimer:

This save is still very much a work in progress. While most things appear to be complete (such as builds), there's still a lot to be done. So, keep that in mind. Also, I tried my best to playtest everything, but this is a HUGE save. So, it's possible I missed things. If I did, feel free to let me know!

If you want the townies’ relationships to stay intact, I HIGHLY recommend downloading MCCC. If not, you shouldn’t have any issues playing the save, but some relationships will eventually be deleted due to the culling system. Instructions here!

I did use one piece of CC, but it is absolutely not required in order to download this save. It's the Modern Family Portrait by RAVASHEEN! Download only if you want some cute portraits of the families.
