After so many months of job searching and stressing about my portfolio for over a year I've finally figured out one of the reasons why I might have lost so much of my creative drive.

I think I've seen my art just as a tool to get myself a job, which doesn't need to be a bad thing, but it's gotten to the point where I only think about making my art presentable for job applications... The joy of making stuff for just myself has been thrown to the side and because of that I haven't found art fun anymore.

I want to reclaim my art and see it as a thing I do for fun, not just for work.

I'm working on it now and I'm feeling a little bit better about my art already, but it'll take a lot of convincing to get my brain to flip back the switch fully again.

Long story short, I want to draw like I did back in my 'Cryptid Eclipse era' and backwards, back when I was still in school and saw my art as an escape and as fully mine.
