Top 5 Croatia NT games 👀👀👀👀👀👀
Huhhh okay xD
🇭🇷 VS 🇧🇷 (FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar) - Okay this one is a fucking day to remember. The Friday evening when my family and me watched this game...heck it felt like it was yesterday, the joy of screaming, crying and laughing when we kicked out the favorites out. These emotions weren't easy to describe! Livi was incredible and he literally saved our asses along with the others!
🇭🇷 VS 🏴 (FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia) - did ya all ever dream of going to finals? We Croatians always did. That match was as tought as Brazil, but we did it. Mandzo has slythered us all to the finals and thanks to him we can always talk about our journey to the finals
🇭🇷 VS 🇫🇷 (Nations League 22/23) - oh yeah...after two very heavy 4-2 losses the tables have finally turned around for Croatia. It was finally a moment of our glory to celebrate 1-0 against France in Pariz! I didn't even believe we would win, but I guess I was proven wrong by our boys!
🇭🇷 VS 🇸🇲 (Friendly Match 2016) - man, I just can't believe we managed to score 10-0 against San Marino, I mean I know they are the worst National Team in the world, but for some reason I really enjoyed that match. San Marino fans please forgive meh 😭
🇭🇷 VS 🇯🇵 (FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar) - I just wanted to say, I love Japan with all my heart and this game was kinda hard, but I did enjoy it a lot. Japan has proved that they are no joke in this World Cup, but we sadly had to play against them. I was happy that Croatia won, but deep inside I felt really sorry for kicking Japan out of the World Cup
THANK U FOR THE ASK KARIN! I am so glad I was able to answer these <3

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army 2003
"Seven Nation Army" is a song by American rock duo the White Stripes, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, Elephant (2003). Written and produced by Jack White, the song consists of distorted vocals, a simple drumbeat, and a bass line created by playing a guitar through a pitch shift effect. "Seven Nation Army" has become a sports anthem, commonly appearing in audience chants. It has also served as a theme song for sports teams, personalities, and events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The song charted in multiple countries, and its success contributed to the popularity of the White Stripes and the garage rock revival movement. It received widespread critical acclaim, with praise being given to its distinctive riff and drumbeat; various critics and magazines have since listed "Seven Nation Army" as one of the best songs of all time. It won Best Rock Song at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards in addition to being nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.. The music video won Best Editing in a Video at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, as well as being nominated for Best Group Video, Best Rock Video, and Best Special Effects.

hii your fics are written so well it’s captivating and beautiful!!
can u write sumn abt attempting to find out if the reader is single or available w kylian :)
heard the risk is drownin' ────── kylian is charging straight in.
♡ ────── pairing : kylian mbappé x reader ♡ ────── tags : reader's gender, ethnicity, nationality, and appearance is not specified, but they are described to be smaller than kylian. set in the cannes film festival; reader is a film scholar/film critic and is teaching at a university. reader doesnt have an insta sorry i gotta make this easy for me. kylian is down baaaaad he's also kind of assholeish here but he's also hot so idc. NOT PROOFREAD!! ♡ ────── wordcount : 1,277 ♡ ────── notes : this is such a cute request!! i love him so much, thank you for requesting this 🥺 disclaimer ive never been to cannes but i wish i have. this is a good luck one-shot for france tonight!! title based on risk by gracie abrams ♡ masterlist.
Kylian wants you.
It’s clear to see ever since a friend invited him to her private, directorial debut screening. Filled with pretentious film commentators, Kylian almost questioned his sanity in accepting this seemingly random invitation from a friend he knew from Catholic school over ten years ago.
Almost.
Almost, because you were the lighthouse that helped him navigate the mist that night. During dinner, you seemed oblivious to his superstar status, and initiate the conversation you shared with a fun and lighthearted question about his favorite movie.
“I didn’t know,” you laughed to yourself when he told you he was the Mbappè from 2018’s FIFA World Cup, “Sorry. I guess not everything revolves around films.”
Contrary to others in the revel, you were able to communicate in a way he understands—you didn’t sigh when revealed that he had never seen (heard of, even) a film you mentioned, and you were able to eloquently steer the course of your conversation in a way that is both enjoyable but also challenging for him.
Paired with the way your eyes twinkle under the dim lighting, just like that, he was in love.
And he wants you.
It’s simple for everyone that knows him to see. He repeats your name under his breath—the only thing he learned that night—and shakes his head when he recalls that he cannot find you anywhere.
He wants you. He wants you bad.
He thinks you’re cheeky. When he searches your name up on Google, all that came up were the papers you had written to contribute to multiple visual culture journals and books, or an article of a film you wrote published by a third party website from six months ago. No Instagram account, no Facebook account, no nothing.
Kylian tries asking his agent at least 50,000 times, but it’s not like his agent, or any sports agent for that matter, would have the connection to set him up with someone like you.
And he would ask fucking Clémentine, but she gatekeeps information about you like she is a shepherd clinging on her last dozen sheeps, leaving his messages on read and calls unanswered. Being Kylian Mbappè does not help him at all. Even being her friend does not help him at all.
He guesses that he could send you an email, but what’s attractive about that? He’s desperate, but not desperate in the sense that he would write an email on his iPad and send it to you like some kind of student hoping for a raise in grades. He’s a damn footballer. What he wants to do is take you out on a nice dinner before bringing you back to his house, not ask you to collaborate on an academic paper about film semiotics—or whatever these papers talk about.
And that leads us to today. Let's set the scene.
The time: the first Saturday of the Cannes Film Festival 2024, first screening of the day; the place: the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes, France; and the characters: Kylian Mbappè Lottin, fucking Clémentine, and you.
Well, he doesn’t know where the fuck Clémentine is, and he couldn’t give less of a fuck where Clémentine is.
Somehow, he ended up finding a spot to sit to your right, and instead of taking in the highly anticipated work of a certain Greek director, Kylian leaned to place his cheek on a closed fist supported by his elbow against the arm rest, occasionally glancing to his left in hopes to get a glimpse of your eyes against the bright screen, testing in every crinkle on your face when a certain scene was shot in a way that amused you.
When will another one of such invaluable opportunities rise?
“So,” As soon as the standing ovation dies down and the theatre lights are turned back on, Kylian turns to you, starting a conversation. “What did you think?”
“Wonderful,” still dazzled, the smile remains etched on your lips. “Unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, I swear.”
“Oh, wow.” he laughs, placing a palm against his mouth for a moment. “And I’m here thinking that you’ve seen more films than the average person.”
“Oh, yeah,” you nod, immediately catching up to his playful tone, “I’ve seen at least five movies.”
Quiet laughter is shared between the two of you, and Kylian feels a familiar, comfortable feeling in the pit of his stomach. “So that makes this the sixth movie that you’ve watched?”
“In my entire lifetime, yes,” you giggle.
Kylian bites his lips before rubbing the side of his neck, for a short moment which he hopes you don’t notice the anxiety brewing within him. “Well, this is my first film, actually. So I was really excited to watch it.”
“Five more to go,” you notice everyone else beginning to stand up, patiently waiting for their turn to escape from their row and exit the theatre. “Then maybe you’ll have half the experience I do.”
The tone of your reply draws out another laugh from him.
Damn.
All he does is laugh when you are around. You must be the funniest person he’s ever met.
“So,” Kylian clears his throat when you stand, following your suit. “What’s your plan after this?”
“Clémentine and I are thinking of sharing a pizza down the street for lunch before returning for the 2 PM showing,” you shake the watch around your wrist before looking back at him with a dazzling smile. “What about you?”
“Clémentine?” Kylian muses, hoping to get some kind of reaction out of you. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen her.”
“What’s with that face?” You begin walking behind the person before you, still somewhat facing him. “I’m sure. You must be busy.”
“Eh, it’s all just show. I got nothing to do most of the times,” he raises his shoulders with a grin. “Well, what’s after the 2 PM screening?”
“I’ve got papers to grade,” you sigh, feeling a slight chill when the summer breeze brushes over your skin the moment you both step outside the studio. You squint your eyes at the sun, turning to him. “Wish I could stay around longer, but I’ve got responsibilities.”
Kylian tilts his head, still smiling at you. “Yeah? I was actually thinking that I can take you out for dinner tonight.”
You blink, and turns your body so that you were fully facing him—only then do you realize how big he looks: his broad shoulders, the shape of his chest pressed under his thin shirt.
“Oh,” you stammer, taking a step back once you noticed how close you two are standing to each other. “I– uh, you know—”
“Responsibilities?” He asks with a light chuckle. “That’s fine. Another night?”
Kylian watches your pupils dilate, shifting to every single thing around you except for him, avoiding eye contact at all cost. “That’s very kind of you, it’s just—”
Then, it clicked on him.
“Oh,” he says with a furrow of his eyebrows, lips pressing into a frown. “Boyfriend?”
You clear your throat, and the nod you give him is timid, but it is a nod.
Kylian takes a deep breath, burying both his hands in his pockets, for a moment staring off into the distance, before turning back to you with a gentle smile.
“Then,” he closes the gap to you with a step, looking around for a moment, before leaning in to whisper in your ear. “When you break up with him, let me know. I’d love to take you out for dinner.”
And casually, he straightens his back.
“I’ll see you around,” he laughs softly with a wink, raising his hand to wave at you as he walks away.

✶ BLUE LOCK ; BLK MDDNA
n … this, like all my realities, is canon-divergent. blue lock is a mega organization, meant for the brightest, and most devious stars all over the world, each hungry for pleasure and pain. some worldbuilding + characterization aspects may change.
tokyo, japan
present day + time.
BLUE LOCK is a cutting-edge training facility and management organization designed to cultivate the world's most formidable footballers.
established after japan's lackluster performance in the 2018 fifa world cup, blue lock's mission is singular: forge an ego-driven striker, from any walk of life, capable of leading nations to global football dominance.
🥂🌺 ∘ SAIA, STARRING AS “𝒮OSO” ℒAURENT
23, striker false 9 — #7
national team: speculations on jamaica
on loan to: PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN FÉMININE
a strategic move to test her adaptability at the highest european level. psg sees her as a wildcard—a player with absurd technical ability, a killer instinct, and a reputation problem. still, she’s a weapon in their war against OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS, the undisputed giants of d1 arkema.
SOLÈNE LAURENT. blue lock's BLACK MADONNA, jinpachi's “princess.” an unapologetic specimen, lacking stature but making up for it in formidable musculature, and the devious nature of running game in home land and island. her talent is backed by genetics, thickly coiled power that could outmuscle a tank, chasing down the ball like an acutely starved predator; all sharp angles and unrelenting.
her presence is commanding, full of razor-sharp wit and colourful gesture. on the field, she plays like she's dancing—fluid, explosive, magnetic. analysts compare her to futsal legends like RICARDINHO—players who treat football like art, turn defenders into spectators. others say she’s still on the streets, the chaotic beauty of jo’burg's kasi football and jamaica’s barefoot, bodega-side battles.
she's particularly well-known for how easily she transitions from a voracious, relentless ball player, to a gyaru-cultured, barbie-core pink princess.
accomplishments ;;
✭ statistically humiliates more defenders per game than almost anyone in the league. clips of her tricks go viral weekly.
✭ a pink-nailed, gyaru-styled striker with a killer instinct? football purists hate her, but gen z eats it up. she’s on magazine covers, rap lyrics, she’s the moment.
scandals ;;
✭ for five years, she ghosted football—no calls, no interviews, nothing. fans, former teammates, of course, were left pissed. some thought she retired. others thought she had a secret kid with some executive.
✭ older football analysts hate her flair-heavy playstyle. They claim she’s more showwoman than striker, that she "doesn’t respect traditional football."
✭ she’s been pretty vocal about how club politics favor men’s football. when asked in an interview if she thought the women’s game was treated unfairly, she laughed and said, “we’re not asking for respect. at this point, we’re just grabbing the bull by the twinkles.” FIFA was not happy.
TIMELINE ▾
born to a south african businessman, and a once-aspiring jamaican track and field star—soso’s destiny might have been set in stone—something her mother greatly encouraged, seeing her baby run, kick, play ball even before she knew to call her mama. especially as the embarrassing bastard child to her father's dynasty, she had little to nothing to her name, and only his pity in his house. otherwise, she'd have to make something of herself, and fast.
lucky for her, her footballing talent was undeniable, and her father, persuaded enough, sent her away with a suitable stipend to train and study in japan. a promising women's academy in france? no. a scholarship in the us? too expensive. but a brutal, experimental program in japan that prided itself on creating outcasts and killers? perfect.
in the early years of blue lock, she emerged from the highly experimental female division, a program largely overshadowed by its male counterpart. though she matched the organization's egoist culture to the letter, solène struggled to integrate rigid expectations and low recognition, leading to an indefinite hiatus from professional play.
consequence to her defiance, her father cut her off, leaving her stranded in japan, with no choice but to rely on the whim of EGO JINPACHI, and furthermore—pay him back.
she pursued higher education, then went straight into BLLK PR management, meticulous with the image of her clients to an end.
the stint was brief, and she made good money, but that was not her place. during an exhibition match, a last-minute injury to the main female striker hurled solène back to the field. despite an initial wobbliness on her feet, the gamble culminated in a 4-2, a game-winning goal. the goal to rewrite team dynamics and set her on a new assignment. let's not forget who's paid her tuition up until now.
since then, sol's returned as a player in the feast, embarking a mission to dethrone the ruling titans of women’s football.
LIFE OF SOSO ▾
with a world tour on the horizon, soso's days are beyond packed, tumultuous amd fast paced, there is never a moment's rest within the confines on the facility. one can dread, and imagine;
— long flights, jet lag, stolen power naps with 3 square meals per day being the only hail mary to look forward to.
— match days require extensive pre-match mental prep. game. post-game recovery.
— training consists of on-field and tactical training + team talks. she butts heads with chiyo and mireya way too much for these to lead to much.
— of course, there are the press conferences, the interviews and fan interactions, but first, media training. not too much of it, she's learned early how to behave and where to draw the line.
— last but most importantly; long, multi-hour self-care, rest days and physiotherapy. mara won't stop bitching about how hot he is.
agenda ;;
❏ media engagements ; press conferences, interviews, and sponsor-related events. prepare for bali and qatar for youth coaching and charity matches.
❏ strategy ; work with coaches and analysts to review game footage, discuss tactics, and prepare for upcoming matches.
❏ finish unpacking her room + catching up with her mom; being so far from home means solène misses the little things—mama's sunday dinners, her aunties insisting she take more food than she needs in exchange for climbing fruit trees all day for them.
❏ get back to training, push herself harder, improving her stamina and left foot control. she needs to get back to herself before the media calls her a “one-hit wonder.”
❏ nail appointment; wouldn't miss it for the world, plus my nail tech happens to be my plug for anything i need.
❏ hang out with the team. mara & nia... they've drifted. maybe a spa day, some pampering on her dollar, would do the trick?
🍋 🐝 ° MEET ℬACHIRA ℳEGURU
24, forward / attacking midfielder — #11
national team: japan
on loan to: FC BARCHA
BACHIRA MEGURU is blue lock’s original problem child, the PHANTOM, THE MAGICIAN. an artist disguised as a footballer, all wild grins and unpredictable genius. at 5’11”, with messy black hair and eyes too bright to be trusted, bachira is known for his signature trance state and dribbling—capable of nigh-surreal moves like a fever dream—impossible angles, slippery maneuvers, a playstyle so alive it borders hallucination. within two seasons, he became a fan favorite, it's no wonder he's become a fan favorite.
accomplishments ;;
— la liga champion (1x)
— copa del rey winner (1x)
— golden boy nominee (top u-21 player in europe)
— japan national team starter (fifa world cup & afc asian cup)
✭ scored a hat-trick against real madrid in his first el clásico. one of the goals was so disrespectful (rainbow flick over a defender, volley into the net) that madrid fans still boo him to this day.
✭ dubbed THE MAGICIAN by spanish media because his playstyle is both mesmerizing and hell to defend against.
✭ one of the most marketable blue lock premieres—featured in ads for nike, puma, and a bizarre energy drink commercial where he fights a giant monster (he loved it).
scandals ;;
✭ coaches adore him, but his lack of obedience drives them insane. He still plays like he’s in a cage match, prioritizing fun over tactics sometimes.
✭ after the disaster with solène, spanish paparazzi caught him leaving her hotel at 4 AM; shirt inside out, lipstick on his neck.
✭ banned from one (1) nightclub—he and a few teammates got into a stupid tequila-fueled argument over who had the best dribbling skills. ended with bachira trying to nutmeg a bouncer.
HISTORY ; MADONNA COMPLEX ▾
in the early days of blue lock—they'd call solène MADONNA—resourceful with what she had, not friendly, but polite, helpful; passing by her quarters often meant getting caught up in her, maybe fed, like some sort of stray cat.
but she was softer on him, sweet like honey. everyone knew that.
growing up in complete isolation, bachira never learned the limits of a puppy crush, of when to push forward, when to back off. when to finally put it all behind you. stupid little gestures turned to lingering on the field for extra laps to talk to her, steal her hair ties, find any excuse to hold hands. in fact, you could say she enjoyed it—always being herself around him. no softening and certainly no filters.
when solène left though—he didn't care. shocker, but why should he? what was it about her, that couldn't be replaced by playing meaner, fouling harder, tricking himself deeper, and deeper into believing it? he took to that philosophy quite quickly, but the first and only time he cared to break a guys nose—was at the fact that she ran off and left him.
when she eventually came back on PR, that fucked him up, disgusted him even. in fact, the only thing that could ease his nausea, was the fact that she only worked with fresher, no name recruits trying to climb the ranks of the organization.
yeah, he could just ignore her, even punish her a little, but the next thing he knew, is that she's dazzling a crowd that'd never seen her glory before, and the rest was history. he's 17 again, sprinting toward a girl who never stays long enough for him to catch.
next came the afterparty. next came a little too much to drink. next came came the tangled sheets, panting, biting, clawing.
of course, here they go again. she calls it a mistake; he calls it a habit. everytime she dares to put space between them—he's swinging an arm over her shoulder, stealing her snacks, whispering reckless things to her ear. she always swears it won’t happen again. it happens again.
COUPLE’S TRIVIA ▾
✭ they have a lot of shared hobbies. late night arcade runs, surrealist netflix horrors, finding the weirdest snack combos at convenience stores. he particularly loves her style, and tries to pick her nails or go shopping with her when he can. she loves dressing him up too, but getting him to change his hair every now and again remains a challenge.
✭ unlike solène, who speaks through action, meguru yaps infinitely. it's always “soso likes this,” or “my baby love said to drink more water,” and yoichi is fucking tired of it. if she so much as praises him, he goes full orange cat mode.
an orange cat that pisses on everything and every other kitty he meets.
✭ competing over everything. who can juggle the ball the longest? who can finish a drink faster? who can do the most ridiculous trick shot? they’re constantly trying to outdo each other, and it always escalates into something stupid.
✭ insane late-night impulse buys. drunk at 2 am, they once bought matching designer sneakers, a spray painted pink playstation that soso painted half yellow, and a life-sized plush of some ugly cartoon mascot that neither of them actually likes.
✭ bachira is her biggest hype man. if she scores, he’s the first to post edits of her on insta. if she wears a new outfit, he’s gassing her up before she leaves the room. the problem? he does this to everyone, so his praise sometimes loses weight.
✭ they have very different love languages. solène’s way of caring is through action—grabbing his drink before he asks, patching up his scrapes without a word. bachira, on the other hand? physical touch and constant verbal affection. he’s always stealing her food, touching her hair, nuzzling her. the more she ignores him, the clingier he gets.
✭ soso met his mom. she didn’t plan to—it just happened. one day, bachira facetimed her while he was at home, and next thing she knew, his mom was asking when they were getting married.
✭ after every match, even if she’s exhausted, she always makes sure to check on bachira. fixing his hair, giving him water, or rubbing his shoulders after a tough game, her hands always find their way to him in the sweetest, most caring ways. “you played great out there. but if you don’t stretch, i’m gonna have to drag you to the physiotherapist myself.” “'m not a baby.” “so you're not my baby?”
✭ solène doesn’t like showing it, but when bachira’s talking to other girls, she gets a little possessive. it’s not obvious, though. she’ll make a comment, and then act like it’s no big deal. “who was that girl you were talking to? she got the same taste in snacks as me?” “what? we were just talking about chips—” “mm. you know… just making sure you don’t forget who spoils you with the good stuff.”

March 21, 2018 — Soyuz MS-08 launches to the International Space Station
Soyuz MS-08 Hawaii carried three members of Expedition 55, one Russian (Oleg Artemyev) and two Americans (Ricky Arnold and Drew Feustel), to the station and returned to Earth on October 4, the 61st anniversary of the launch of Sputnik. The crew's zero-g indicator, held in this photo by commander Artemyev, was a plush wold named Zabivaka ("the one who scores" in Russian), the mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
