Today I learned you can see Ignis has stubble!

I've played nearly 1000 hours of this game, I've stared at his face for hours and out of the hundreds of photos I've taken of him, I just noticed it last night!

I still prefer him shaved though 🤭

bad news: Noct doesn't actually use ぶす ("ugly") in the Japanese dialogue of the opening scene of Episode Gladiolus. good news: it comes down to the same thing (in a way).

ノクティス：さらにガラが悪くなったよな

Spelldaggers, the project that translated the game directly from the Japanese version, translated it as: Noctis: And it makes you ugly.

if *I* were to translate it, it'd be: Noctis: You look even more like a thug now.

which is (unfortunately) closer to the English version's "Worse than looking like some kind of thug?", but let me explain.

the exact phrase Noct uses here is ガラが悪い (literally "[a] bad type [of person]"), which is often used to describe delinquents and people with no good manners. and these kinds of people are often depicted as ugly.

have you seen Kiryu from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series? i'd describe him (based on his literally being in the yakuza) as ガラが悪い... he ain't ugly though. but i digress.

in any case, this is just a case of light banter between Noct and Gladio, so i wouldn't read into it too deeply.

The line-up to the modest street stand was impressive. Mahasra’s Bounty, a Galahdan twist on seafood — fragrant spices wafted from the bubbling pots, with sweet notes of coconut mingling to make quite a delicious aroma. Lestallum was bustling with various street foods so it was quite a feat to carve out a loyal customer base.

"What’ll it be?” Rika asked the next in line. “Red’ll knock your socks off, green’ll treat ya gentle enough.” It was a small word of advice for the curries of the day. Though something else caught her eye. “Hang on — are you in with that huntin’ lot?”

But for me personally, the only other rare-pairs for Cor and Nyx that I enjoy enough to seek out and/or write for are DrauNyx, DrauCor, and DrauCorNyx.

when was the last time you slept?

Mid can't help but laugh at the other's question. Oh, she slept. Sometimes. When she can. When she has time. When her brain is not overthinking. But she worries so much all the time; it definitively doesn't help. Maybe she's tired, and maybe it's showing on her face, but it won't stop her hard work. Nothing can stop her. She has always been this way.

"Oh, I slept last night," Mid assures, letting a chuckle escape her mouth before a playful smile remains on her lips. "So much is going on. We're all tired, right ? No big deal!" Well, she's definitively overworking herself, but she won't admit it.

I may not be personally playing FFXVI

But boy do I have good things to say!

I had a chance to see this game by chance thanks to a friend

Please don't hate me for this... this is fullly MY opinion since this is my post and ot may just be me thinking a out this points since it relates to my own observations.

The game looks like so much fun and the game is amazing

Is all I wish FFXV could had or at least it is the way I would have prefere to play FFXV bc man do I now have some stuff I wish that were different

Not the characters but uh... things that just made it hard for me to beat it back in the day

Let's compare them here in my corner of the world

I know a highlight of it's time is was a somewhat open world for XV but man do I love how in XVI is so practical and nice, no need to change gil for traveling really!

WHERE THE FIGHTS GO THO

Most of my XV experience was dreading have to go down who knows how many meters underground in a dark place and fear nightime was for me, too many that what I needed in my lifetime. It made me uneasy and got lost so many times. Now FFXVI? Is quite simple you iust find your place in the map where the quest and story takes and it is so alive that I am glad it such a flexible game.

Companions, I know way too well I could not keep FFXV party alive and was running with an almost dead Noctis most of my quest bc I suck at management and I get overwhelmed easily. As far as I see you only have to take caren of Clive in FFXVI and that is neat in my opinion.

FFXVI does not ask me to rent a chocobo bc Clive owns one.

I cannot compare stories bc their focus of both are different, and I am like both casts tho FFXVI quite a bit more but that is my personal opinion.

XVI is the kind of game I wish I could play on my own so maybe one day. It looks like fun and managable if I ever give it a try.

It won't fix my terrible fighting skills but at leat way more fun and less worrisome.

So, somehow I've become a Hello Neighbor fan. Somewhat. Kind of.

But after watching all of the demos for the games now and the actual games, I kind of get why a lot of people find certain demos better than the finished products, sadly.

(Though I swear I'm not trying to just be negative here.)

I also kind of wish that the bird guy/thing from the "Hello Guest" demos had actually been the antagonist of Hello Neighbor 2 or just really been in it at all. Because I don't know: that whole thing was really interesting. And I thought he was scarier than the neighbor (though I do like the story with the neighbor. I find him a really well-written tragic character, actually). Not that these games are really scary (perhaps the right word here is "creepy"), but you know what I mean.

Though I am curious to see where the third one (I'm assuming there will be a third one) will go after that cliffhanger. And it was definitely a bold choice to end it on a cliffhanger.

"i can't wait to see him!" prompto's voice echoed throughout the halls, he was clearly excited about something. ignis hummed and nodded in agreement, so did noctis.

"yeah, he looked amazing tonight." gladio responded to prompto's comment, letting out a small sigh as an image in his mind appeared about this 'he'.

the men kept walking through the hallways, backstage in a venue. they were all giddy, and practically buzzing with excitement just to see this 'he'.

eventually, the group reached a dressing room. ignis decided to knock lightly on the door, waiting for a response or for someone to open the door for him and the group behind him.

a few seconds pass, but the door creaks open. a man is standing at the other side of the door, looking quite tired but his face lights up as soon as he sees the men infront of him.

"[name]!" the group call out, all rushing to hug the man. they all throw themselves on top of [name], each trying to steal a kiss from their boyfriend.

a light chuckle escaped [name]'s lips as he tried to pull his boyfriend's off. he wanted his space, a little air to breathe and preferably a warning if he was to get crushed once again.

"well it's good to see you all too." [name] finally spoke up, a smile on his face as he looks over at the group infront of him. they all looked back in awe, prompto rushing to hog [name] for himself.

"oh babe! you looked so good out there today! you were so amazing!" prompto cooed, squeezing [name] as tightly as he could before someone else stole him away. [name] smiled at prompto and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "thank you." [name] whispered back.

then, gladio pulled [name] out of prompto's arms so the man could rest in his own muscular arms. "you were so handsome and sexy up on that stage." gladio purred, placing a few kisses to [name]'s neck. [name] responded with a few laughs, finding the way gladio's facial hair scratched his neck to be quite ticklish.

"yes, you were quite fascinating on stage my dear." ignis piped up, walking towards [name] to place a kiss on his forehead. ignis then moved gladio's arms off of [name], worried the poor man might get squished. instead, ignis let gladio hold onto his hand.

noctis was the last one to come up to [name], wrapping his arms around his boyfriend to nuzzle himself in the other man's neck. he seemed to be more tired than [name] even though he wasn't the one performing.

"mhm.." noctis hummed in agreement to what everyone else said previously. he just seemed to be more interested in getting home to sleep, just like [name].

"you two look very tired." ignis comments, taking a look at his partner's faces. there's a small frown wanting to form on ignis' lips. his heart aches as he sees how tired noctis and [name] look. "i guess we should get going now. unless you have to go get your fans to cheer for you again, [name]?" ignis asked, almost as if he was teasing his boyfriend.

[name] rolled his eyes, letting his own arms wrap around noctis. "no, i don't need to have my fans cheer for me." [name] responded to ignis with a hum. "the only people i need to cheer for me are you guys." [name] smirked.

prompto started to holler at [name]'s words, gladio and ignis joining in with laughs of their own. prompto then practically jumps over to [name], giving him a kiss on the lips. noctis groans and he pushes prompto away, wanting to be the only one in [name]'s arms right now.

"well, if that's the case i think we can go to the car and drive home, yes?" ignis suggests and all of the men nod along to him. "let's go then." ignis continues, taking hold of prompto's hand to drag him to the car.

gladio walked over to [name], shaking noctis off of him to pick up the other man. "a reward for your impressive work today, my prince." gladio smirked, kissing [name]'s forehead and picking him up.

noctis groans once again, glaring at gladio for stealing away his warmth. he just sighed, not bothering with his boyfriend. he just followed him, and his other boyfriends, to the car.

the group walked over to the car, squeezing inside as best as they could. ignis started driving off back home, engaging in conversation with his boyfriends. they all laughed and talked with eachother on the way home.

suddenly, [name] realised something and his eyes widened.

"oh shit. i forgot all my stuff back in the dressing room.." [name] mumbled.

ignis immediately stopped the car and he turned back around. everyone groaned and sighed at [name], shaking their heads.

"[name]!" prompto whined, turning around in his seat and pouting at his boyfriend. "how could you!" prompto continued, acting as if [name] had done the worst thing in the world.

"it's not my fault you guys dragged me out of the dressing room so quickly! it's not my fault you guys wanted to see me and snuggle up to me so badly!" [name] chuckled at prompto. the blonde pouted, turning back around in his seat with his arms crossed over our chest.

"i guess we were just too eager to see our band boy." gladio teased, pressing a kiss to [name]'s cheek. noctis and ignis hummed in agreement, ignis continuing to drive back to the venue.

the group couldn't wait for [name]'s next performance, to have another moment like this. but, they hoped [name] wouldn't end up leaving his stuff again.

Headcanons for some of my favourite men in franchises (Games)

As I said I made more, and i need more ideas from games. However here are a few

Jacob Frye (ACS)

Jacob loves being sarcastic. He often teases his S/O lady with his funny remarks, though he does his best to time them right

Jacob goes drinking with his S/O in order to have fun, and fight off any templar crooks who may try harming her

Even when he's older, his charismatic nature doesn't hide from his S/O. He let's her know by telling her jokes quietly or with letters filled with jokes

He boasts about his S/O to Evie though he used to tease her about 'Greenie'. However he does seem very compassionate about his S/O

Jin Sakai (GOT)

Jin is pretty protective of his S/O. He let's her know this by holding her wrist in dangerous places or by holding his blade handle

Jin enjoys visiting hot springs with his S/O. Often to recover after his many battles with the Mongols and to get through his worries

Jin brings S/O with him to shrines they visit. Petting foxes is a must on their travels when passing through nature

Jin limits himself when drinking to make sure he's always sharp, but he let's S/O drink comfortably, even joking with her

Ignis Scientia (FFXV)

Ignis often makes S/O her favourite dishes in order to avoid having to go to expensive places, also because S/O prefers his cooking

Ignis takes S/O around Altissia when possible, showing her the nicest areas and buys her small gifts with significant gifts

Health is important to Ignis. He makes sure his S/O is maintaining her health and staying clean

Even after losing his vision, he often let's his S/O know that it doesn't stop him from his old hobbies and he still does his best

Joseph Seed (FC5)

Joseph often does bible studies with his S/O. They share their favourite verses together or discuss meanings

Joseph talks about his S/O to the followers, but mainly to his siblings. It's clear he loves her as he describes her in great measures

After the collapse, he'd probably live with his S/O. Enjoying the beauty of the Eden tree or the water from the waterfall

Joseph and his S/O would help the village against the highwayman as they'd have experience through the years against the foes
