For the alternate ship ask: Shale and Giott! Two wonderful ladies and I guess my chances of a new pair are pretty good!

Oh they are both GREAT I've actually thought about Shale:

Flidais choosing to spend more time in S9, of course she's going to go to Shale for advice and to get to know the technology better. Getting time to bond, to get to know each other, Flidais sharing stories of her adventures getting Shale excited. Shale telling stories about their life and some of the things they've been up to It may not be a long lived one but they'd be great friends. Also making out in the backrooms for sure! Giott... Oh wonderful Giott

this is a romance that ends badly for everyone NOT involved. Flidais is a lightweight and easily convinced of things when drunk. Giott is NOT a lightweight. All it takes is a few drinks, Giott yelling at another patron, and Flidais is throwing a table and starting a fight. Furniture and other faces will get broken while these two are dating, enough they get banned from most places. They're a cute couple, and Giott is easily flustered by Flidias's affections however. They're just also incredibly destructive.

(Shadowbringers spoilers)

Kass now has 4 classes at 80+, and last night she finished the Healer role quests for Shadowbringers (Red mage is still 53-ish, so the magic DPS will be a while lol.) Other than a comment in the very first conversation about Kass's missing helm, there hasn't been any special dialogue for Lalafells/dwarves. But on impulse, I recorded the last conversation with Giott (which turns out not to be in the inn book, so good thing I did, lol) and when I compared it to a non-Lala conversation someone else had posted, I realized that some lines that were borderline flirty---were Lala/dwarf specific.

When you walk up to her, she says:

And she got this response:

Giott is stuttering a little and doing that embarrassed head-ducked-hand-waving emote.

But I found a video where a non-Lala picked the same dialogue, and they got THIS:

"Ha! Looks like you finally figured out how to tell a joke! Now's the part where I stare all misty-eyed into the distance, right?"

And she does NOT do the embarrassed emote. She stands erect with hands by her side. Completely different body language.

So...Giott may have a thing for a dwarven/Lalafellan WoD.

EDIT: So, apparently others have gotten this shy response, so it isn't dwarf/lala specific after all. Unless it's some early dialogue trigger that I can't trace now, it's possible she only has this reaction to women...

the dialogue keeps implying that the wol is being kind of rude and doubtful to giott but r'owan is not doing that. hes doing the opposite. he kinda didnt trust her abilities at first but after he saw her beat up the sineaters so well he was like oh okay you can drink however much you want if youre that talented. and then when she tried to research, and got kicked out of the library, he was like :O oh it was nice of you to do that
